Zea Rotisserie & Bar

This was my husbands and I first time coming here tonight for a date night. You are warmly greeted as you walk in the door and the atmosphere is pleasant. We were warmly greeted by our server, Andre, and enjoyed having meaningful and fun conversations. Our appetizer was duck and it was delicious. We would highly recommend it. And we had the new Caribbean grilled catfish and the Thai ribs for our entree. They were absolutely incredible, we give the chef our compliments. It was breathtaking. We will be coming here again soon and we will tell everyone about this place!!

This was our 2nd time dining at 6 it did not disappoint either time. This time, there were some new items on the menu that we tried. The 1st was the Kung Pao Cauliflower for an appetizer. It was absolutely delicious! Then, for our entrée, my husband had the Bronze Stuff Trout, and I had the Caribbean Grilled Catfish. They both were good but I like my husband's dish the best. The service was great. The manager checked on us a few times, which was very nice, and the atmosphere was nice. Would recommend.

March 21, Lunch-- Went to Zea's Roisserie (Restaurant) bar in Lafayette was absolutely delectable: great Crispy Duck with honey soy glaze, thai green beans and seasoned potatoes. Chase and Maddy, my servers, were so hospitable and helpful. Delicious crispy duck cooked perfectly: well done and juicy! I have eaten duck in Chicago at the Crown Allerton Tip Top Club and this duck rivals that! Skin on duck was just perfect: crispy and delicious! Corn grits were clearly cooked with delicious cream and butter- how perfect. Love the small hummus as appetizer-so creamy and delicious with pita bread and fresh cucumbers. Everything I put in my mouth at Zea's was so delightful Thank you, Zea's, for being a delicious and hospitable rotisserie restaurant in Lafayette, La. Keep doing a wonderful job! M. Barnes

Par for the course! Zea never disappoints. From the corn grits to the ribs to the shrimp to the broccoli, they are so consistent. I've been coming here since ULL days and they taste exactly the same. The ambience and the staff are awesome and we had a great server named Aidan who was courteous, accommodating, and expedient. Another great experience!

Food is always amazing! Can’t go wrong with the Almond Shrimp, Thai Ribs, Beef Sirloin, and Corn Grits. The bartender also made a delicious Old Fashioned!

Breathtakingly good food. Hands down one of the best places to go around here! From the minute we walked in until the moment we left we had atmosphere, friendly service, spectacular food and just a top notch experience! The restaurant was clean warm and inviting with the staff as the icing on the cake. Very fun and professional with an expertise that made the whole dining experience truly one to remember! As a native of Louisiana, when I return home, the dining establishments I select must evoke the memory of my late grandparents' cooking. I recently took my mother there in her honor for Mother's Day. Not only was our server attentive and unhurried throughout our dining experience, but the meal itself was also excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at this establishment, and it will remain on my list of preferred dining locations.

I crave the Casablanca Chicken too often to mention. It’s that good and comes with a generous serving of their delicious hummus. Opt for cucumber slices instead of pita for no gluten. The service is always on point, appreciate having the manager, Leonard, always stop by the table to make sure we’re happy. Just very consistent, excellent food! On and you can hear yourself talk! Bonus!

our trip to Louisiana paid off by coming to Lafayette and going to Zea Rotisserie Bar. the food is amazing but above all the staff are so welcoming and go well out of their way to make you experience remarkabl. if you are in Lafayette Zea is a must go place.

This is my hands down favorite restaurant in Lafayette the Mediterranean hummus needs a cult following it's so good and the rotisserie chicken is always on point! In a part of the world where Red beans & rice is in every restaurant you won't beat Zeas Red Beans and rice it's amazing also the twice Cooked Duck is mouth watering. Along with everything else. One more thing the customer service is Top of the Line

Monday madness! Every time I'm in town I always visit this restaurant. I love the Mango habanero rotisserie chicken with a double side of the roasted corn grits and mashed sweet potatoes! So good! It was a bit busy for a Monday night and wanted to give a shout out to the bartender Keely for doing a great job!

Food is delicious, great service, reasonably priced. They also have a store you can buy their special sauce to take home (get some!) Popular for the rotisserie chicken, a MUST TRY! It's delicious! Other menu items are good as well, also check out the bar especially the Martini menu! Great place, fancy without being too fancy, kid friendly too. Staff very knowledgeable when answering questions about menu and in-store purchases.

I loved this spot!! Came in with my coworker/friend. Everything looked so delicious so we spilt everything we ordered. Everything was in fact delicious and the service was great.

LOVE the new fried shrimp & artichoke salad! I've ordered it 4 times this week They're delicious and addictive! They're even perfect as a "to go" order since the chef puts the shrimp and dressing on the side so it stays crispy and doesn't get soggy! The service was friendly and prompt! The restaurant setting itself is older and could use updating since it gives me cafeteria vibes but overall I do highly recommend!

Food was delicious and has a great menu. Service and staff was good, my waitress Amy was great. Ambiance was perfect for a date, unfortunately I was alone this time around.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here last night. She had the rotisserie chicken and braised collards. I had the rotisserie sirloin with mushroom reduction sauce. The braised collards are fantastic. Delicious food and super service. We'll be back!

Food, drinks and service were both excellent. Casablanca chicken is my favorite and the peach Bellini was superb. Cameron, our waiter, was top notch

A group of us went for lunch on Wednesday, a very popular spot for groups. It's a little loud but you don't have to yell to be heard. Our waitress was great wish I could remember her name to recognize her. She was very accommodating to split the checks. I found the food not a good as it normally is, but anyone can have an off day or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.I'll go back and give them another chance.

If you've seen my other posts you'd know that I have traveled extensively through the US seeking the best bbq. I never would have thought that the best ribs I've ever eaten would come from a rotisserie bar. Try the Thai ribs and tell me I'm wrong. My server was Cameron. He was as good of a server as I've ever had. Top notch. The manager went throughout the dining area checking on all of the tables. This place is quality in every aspect. Can't wait to come back.

So excited to find a Zea's restaurant in Lafayette tonight. Zea's had a restaurant in Mobile a few years back and was a favorite place to eat for me and my husband. Of course, we ordered our favorites from the menu. My husband enjoyed the red beans and rice which has a large piece of fried chicken and sausage. I enjoyed my favorite Mediterranean chicken - grilled chicken with delicious hummus and pita bread. The meal wasn't complete without an order of their yummy roasted corn grits. Oh Zea's how I have missed you!!!

I loved the knees bees and the mango habanero rotisserie chicken. I sat at the bar and the servers were super nice and attentive. Will definitely come back. The bar area is cozy.

We've been wanting to try this place for the longest, thankfully today we got an opportunity and it was so worth it! Highly, highly, highly recommend! Everything was absolutely amazing, service was outstanding and great prices. Probably the best hummus I've ever had!

Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The food was great . We had the duck, chicken, Thai ribs and pasta with shrimp. The chicken was very moist and the Thai ribs sauce was sweet with a kick. For sides the greens were good as well.

My Sister/Friend & Her Came For Lunch.We Are Foodies.I'm A Retired Chef.They Called Me And Said The Food Was Hot And Was DEFINITELY Worth Ever Penny Spent.They Came On 03/04/2024.I Had Great News And Had Wanted To Celebrate.So The Nx Day I Called My Son And Told I Wanted To Have Lunch There Unfortunately He Couldn't Make It. So I Called My Sister/Friend.I Told Her About The Duck Empanadas That Friend Bought Mw One To Taste.The Duck Was Not Dry Or Over Cooked And It Was Seasoned Well.The Manage Was Walking Around Making Sure The Customers Were O.K. Him And Our Rick Went Out Of They To Not Only To Talk With Us.But Made Us Feel Like FAMILY.I WILL DEFINITELY Bring My Family There To Celebrate My 71st Birthday On APRIL 30TH 2024.Keep Up The Great Work (You Guys ROCK)When You Cook With Love And Flavor.IT SHOWS

What a welcomed treat when it includes the dining experience offered by Zea's! My favorite dish is the red beans with fried chicken. Try it! You'll be back... The atmosphere is pleasant but not snooty. Prices are extremely reasonable. As they say in Acadiana: "Allon manger,"... Let's eat! Why not make it Zea's?

Still great after all these years. The grits and spinach salad are stellar. Wish they still operated a Semolina in town. Go!

My Family was in town and wanted Seafood, and she had Salmon cooked to perfection. My Grandson enjoyed the Burgers and Daugther loved the fried Shrimp. I was just happy that you were able to please our Family with a hot and fresh cooked meal.

We had a great waiter, he was very hospitable and looked very similar to Will Ferrell, the food was wonderful!! I would definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner! The ambiance was ok

Everything was great! The spinach dip was one of the best I've tasted and the duck empanadas were amazing! Definitely ask for it with pita bread versus chips. While the chips were pretty good, the pita was just perfect with the dip. We also ordered a salad and it was good (especially because it had both chicken and bacon!) As for the entrees, do NOT leave here without tasting the Thai ribs. Best menu item by far. Also ordered the 12 oz ribeye which was very flavorful. Corn grits and red beans are the best of the sides! Fries and steamed broccoli were also good. Must come to Zea's if you're ever in town!

Zea's was even better than before! They had all social distancing measures in place and also has plexiglass portions between the booths. The hostess was polite and friendly and our waiter was just as nice. He new the menu and was very knowledgeable about what was currently offered in the menu. We ordered the Duck empanadas for an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. I wish I could eat those everyday for lunch. We also ordered the twice fried duck with bacon braised collard greens and mashed sweet potatoes for entrees. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to return for more delicious food and phenomenal service!

Always great food. Weekends are busy with a long wait. Go during the week. Rotisserie checked so good.

Love this place. I frequent when I'm in town. It's a nice relaxed environment but still slightly upscale. The service is always phenomenal whether you sit at a table or the bar. The shrimp and grits are a long time favorite but the duck is amazing as well! This is a must when in Lafayette!

The food is excellent and the menu is not always what you would expect. I really love the rotisserie sirloin, my second go to is the Casablanca Chicken. Service is always great.

I been here many times however I never did a review. This restaurant is always packed. This occasion, I visited for lunch. I ordered the lunch special which was $15 it consists of your choice of a soup or salad, main entree and drink. You can't get better, you get dinner portions for lunch prices. Their food is always amazing. I never had a bad experience. The cook with fresh ingredients and the food is served fast and hot. I ordered an appetizer which isn't including in the $15 lunch special. How I love their Mediterranean Humus this appetizer is so creamy and flavorful it comes with freshly made humus. My starter was the house salad with their in house vinaigrette dressing. For my entree I ordered the roasted corn grits, steamed broccoli with garlic and herb rotisserie chicken. I definitely recommend Zeas to others!!!

Love the duck, we'll actually loved whatever I got. We have stopped here on our way to Houston and have gone 2 hours longer on trip to stop here. Service has always been excellent.

Best best best grilled meats. Ribs especially. Must haves are roasted corn grits. And mustard greens. Just go. Eat. Enjoy. You will be certainly SATISFIED HAPPILY.

If you dine at Zea and think you don't want the grits, you should probably order some anyway. If you think you *do* want them, maybe get two orders just in case. The other food is good too, but i show up for the grits and the bomb drinks Great service, quick service, many curbside options. Such an awesome restaurant.

Adam the manager and Keely our server were great. Keely was hustling! Bar tending and serving tables! Adam stopped by and hung out for a minute and didn't just say "hi" ...the food.... Holy that was good! The beef panini was awesome. Duck empanadas were insanely good. Crispy outside amazing sauce. Menu says 8 ribs but I asked for the biggest rib possible and she said they have a 12 rib plate... boom! Will be back for sure

I have never been here and been disappointed. Last time I went, I ate beef flank steak and it was delicious

I hadn't been to Zea's in years, but I went with a friend yesterday and it was delicious! I would go back for the Thai snap beans and corn grits alone. Yum!

I've eaten here a few times when staying in Lafayette. It's my go to place for good quality food and great service.

Been to Zea since inception. So glad they made it all these years. Food is still good, and the ribs don't change. Food is very consistent, and shrimp and grits don't change, neither do the asian inspired ribs. The hummus is so smooth with a great splash of olive oil. My husband enjoys the chicken with red beans and rice. I have even ordered delivery and everythiing is always on point. They have almost outgrown themselves, because some visits are too crowded. Great food attracting many.

Zea's have definitely improved over the years. They now offer family meals, which is great for people who wants to take-out for the family! We always get the rib meal with some appetizers. Can't forget the delicious corn grits!

Zea has 10 or so restaurants. It's an interesting french/thai fusion. Good for a date night, good for big groups for birthday/anniversary parties. Spinach dip appetizer was very good. The crispy duck was delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Nicely done collard greens.

Oh how I've missed Zea's. Those Thai ribs are like the next best thing besides the chicken... so good with the sauce . I got my usual the corn grits which are great and sugar snap beans. I gave 3 stars because one of my ribs was a little burnt ( as you can see in the picture) and then another piece I couldn't even eat it. Other than that I enjoyed the meal and will visit again! Hopefully next time I will get some pretty decent ribs.

We recently visited for the fist time. I loved my frozen drink. The humus and shrimp appetizers were excellent. My ribs caused me to hear angels for a moment they were so delicious. The waitress could not have been better and the manager came by twice and was very nice.

Update from earlier review. Zeas has got it going again. The management has greatly improved the service and the food is back on track. Been back several times and the new Trout Macque Choux is awesome. Imagine the corn grits topped with grilled trout filet topped with corn macque choux. Awesome flavor.

My husband, visiting daughter and I had lunch at Zea's today. The food was excellent, and our server could not have been more helpful! Her name is Casey, and she was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Our daughter (who lives in Switzerland) was very impressed, and we look forward to our next visit.

Right by the house. We go here 5-6 times a month. Always great service and amazing food!

The best combo to order is the Asian almond shrimp and an order of Thai ribs and share them. For sides I like the corn grits and Thai snap beans. I liked the old colors edited all the grey paint but that doesn't effect the food. I recommend here.

Nice date night atmosphere with good service and great food. It's a decent price for good quality dishes.

Food is always amazing. I usually get it to go but I have been in once or twice and service was great. Ambiance is a vibe for sure.
