Great food! Very beautiful. Not super fast service but the taste and cozy experience makes up for it. 🩷The owners are super sweet and friendly!! Such a cool place!

Ordered from here instead of the other places I normally order from. The egg was completely solid inside. The bacon was dry and chewy and somehow bland. The hash browns were greasy, yet bit dry (didn't know that was possible). The mushrooma were good, so was the beans. Just felt a bit underwelmed 😕

Amazing food! Wow. We had Shakshuka and Mediterranean breakfast. The portions were very generous and decent prices. :)

I made a detour to visit this cafe and it was worth the walk from Mile End tube station. I visited on a Friday morning where a few parents brought their children en route to school. The cafe is clean and mercifully quiet. There are rules on laptop use. It has paintings hanging on the brick walls and rustic type benches, as well as more comfortable seats. I went for the American style pancake breakfast and it was as good as the best I've had in the USA. This was a treat for me, and I enjoyed it immensely.

Would not switch fires with sweet potato fries with a burger when I explained I’m allergic to potatoes, tried charging me full price for a side of sweet potato fries to swap them. Woman was super rude left a butter taste in our mouths after spending a lot of money here. Also no vegan butter with the vegan option so it was just dry bread. Food does taste good.

Love Zealand Cafe! Always visit here when I’m in the area. Food is so delicious and such a reasonable price. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients. The personal service and atmosphere is fabulous too! Visit you won’t be disappointed.

Yelp
This is a quaint little coffee shop off of the infamous Roman Road Market. It's simple and sweet. The staff is friendly and has all the basic elements to do some work on your own and meet up with a friend to catch up on life. And who doesn't love some free wifi? Zealand definitely has their local regular visitors. Do try a flat white coffee here, it's rather good.

Yelp
A cute little corner coffee shop with a couple of street-side tables and a couple more inside. If you can get a table there: great, otherwise a good place to get a takeaway to drink along the canals or in Victoria park. Possibly the best coffee in the Mile End/Roman road area. And consistently good. When it's hot they make a mean, light iced coffee. Food offering is simple, mainly due to space. There's sandwiches, open sandwiches and muesli. This is all served until 4pm. My favourite is the smashed av with salmon and chilli flakes that give quite a kick. If chilli is not your thing get this without. Their pressed sandwiches also look good with things like bacon, lettuce, avocado, pesto or aubergine, spiced chicken and yoghurt. The interior is reminiscent of a Melbourne coffee shop with white New York subway style tiling on the counter bench, white walls and simple mixed wood furniture. All the menu is written up on the boards at the back and there is a nice selection of pastries and cakes at the till. Also they have excellent mint and lime water in a help yourself station out of a large glass dispenser. It's the small things right..?

Yelp
Nothing not to like about this sweet little spot in a fairly dubious part of my local area. When the sun's shining, you could convince yourself you were in Cali. Sleek lines, white paint and lovely healthy-ish food. Good prices too and tasty sandwiches (I'm yet to wander in at brekky time). I wanted to veganise one of the sandwiches and they allowed me to switch avocado in without any questions ;) Boosted! Will become a regular here no doubt! x

Yelp
I rarely come here despite living really close by. It must be because it doesn't seem worth it to spend money on sandwiches and coffee when I could just pop back home. At any rate, there are plenty of coffee places in and around the park with better scenery, however, this place is still a lovely little cafe to sit at to watch the world go by. It can be very busy as it's the first nice cafe to have opened up along this stretch of Roman Road (Boulangerie further east is a new addition.) When the weather is bright you'll see lots of young local residents sitting at the outdoor tables, enjoying a coffee and a rollie. It's popular with the Chisenhale Art Gallery crowd so you can probably get a pretty good idea of the kind of customers who frequent this place :) Coffee and food are fairly standard. I've never had a bad coffee here but it's never been amazing and it's pretty hard to get avocado on toast wrong. All in all I'd say this place is nice to spend some time at if you're in the area as this area can be rather scarce in cafés but I'd rather pop over to Victoria Park or its village and visit the numerous cafés there.

Yelp
I came here this morning while walking the mile journey to Magri's pet shop (see previous review), and was in serious need of food after the night I'd just had (see 2 previous reviews!). My order took what felt like an eternity to arrive and I was getting slightly annoyed, but then, as I discovered, the wait was so worth it! Really great soft bread, and dreamy bacon in my bacon sandwich. Mmmmm. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Great coffee shop, probably the best in the area, really enjoy their mochas which are light and creamy; the avocado on toast is superb.

Yelp
Glad to see a nice cafe open up on this side of Victoria Park. However when it is -2 out they really need to get some heat turned on. After an hour in there with a friend my feet were going numb, that with my coat, scarf and hat left on.

Yelp
Not a fancy place by any stretch, but I find it exceptionally vital for my hangover-coffee. Extremely small and the epitome of local business, it is great for the times when you have absolutely no idea where to go for a decent cup of coffee. The cake selection is not one to brag about but the service comes with a smile.

Yelp
Awesome cafe! The atmosphere is very soothing, bright and smelling of gorgeous coffee. What a pleasant place to work, read or daydream.
