In the year and a half or so I have been going to Zebra I have received my GED,enrolled in hair school, and have been able to find resources to help myself remain stable. The free counseling is really worth it and I highly recommend it. Both counselors I have had in my time going here have been excellent at their job. They offer a wide variety of services for the queer youth here in Orlando and I am deeply grateful for the help they have been able to provide me with. If you are considering checking it out - do it. If you are willing to receive help, they will help you. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know who is 24 years old and younger.

I have had over a years worth of experience with Zebra Coalition and I have to say that it is absolutely amazing. Their staff and counselors work incredibly hard and do amazing things all while showing great empathy and respect while facilitating the creation of a great environment for youth of all stripes. They also offer really great programming on a variety of topics relevant to the LGBTQ community.

The idea of what they do for the youth and community had me in awe and excited to have my teenager go here for help. I wanted her to receive whatever help it was that she needed. Had my kid there for "therapy" and whoever it was because they changed often, stated I was the biggest problem in her repairing herself. So now that this person stated that she ran with it and moved in with her dad due to her mental health being at risk she told my kid. If something happens I would like to blame this person. Although I have never been a perfect parent I have actively always been there emotionally, physically and financially. Something her father was not. I hope your proud.

I was referred to them by the rainbow youth organization and I have been trying for a month now to get some form of help or at least information on how to become a member. I have not yet spoken to a single employee of your organization after reaching out multiple times. After calling several times over the months not a SINGLE ONE has been answered.

The Zebra Coalition changes lives and saves them. The negative reviews here are just people who complain about everything and are never satisfied. Zebra hosted a prom last year and it was the most magical night. I’m so thankful to the organization and for what they do for LGBTQ youth. Thank you.

This place was an excellent resource. The core staff have changed. As a result, I question the honesty and helpfulness of the staff. They do offer housing but it's in a tough area. They still have helped me immensely which is why I'm continuing my case there. We will see what the future brings.

I highly recommend the zebra coalition. The staff are extremely attentive to their youth. They have many programs available to assist in whatever the youth may need. The zebra coalition is truly a phenomenal resource for today's lgbtq youth.

This place would be great if you are looking for an after school ice cream social or a Boys and Girls club. Don't take someone you care about here expecting them to get help. Expect to be told to come back again and again and staff to not be available for appointments they set. Very disappointing. They do not live up to their mission statement.

Yelp
Zebra Coalition has been helping teens for years. I contacted them to set up a drop off, Gustavo was very responsive and set up a date, time and tour of the facility. Upon arrival we were greeted with huge smiles and learned a lot of their foundation and the process in which the teens are assisted. If you are looking to help, I would definitely reach out and see how you can be of assistance. They accept monetary and supplies.

Yelp
This is a place that deals with troubled teens and the homeless that offers counseling, therapy and other services. They are very active in the LGBT community and are considered a safe place. I have been bringing my child here for therapy and such for over a year now. We have been very satisfied with the services provided. I just wish the community had more places like this.

Yelp
During my business travels I always seem to collect more and more toiletries. Even though housekeeping notices my huge assortment of personal care items, they still keep restocking fresh every day. I thought it would be a good idea to bring them by for use here at the zebra coalition. It kills me this organization even needs to exist. But on the other hand, it nearly brings me to tears to know that there are people who do accept LGBTQ youth and who really want to help as much as they can. This organization assists young people facing homelessness, bullying, physical, sexual and drug abuse; and isolation from their families with individualized programs to guide them to recovery stability. There is a 24 hour crisis crisis hotline, and also a drop in center. A great hang out area with washing and drying facilities is also available. Please stop by and take a tour in order to find out more about this great organization and learn how you can help. They are currently working on developing a volunteer program, but I have also listed some of the ongoing needs of this coalition.
