If you find yourself in Genoa, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. By dining here, you’ll be following in the footsteps of the many legends featured in the photos on their walls. It is an outstanding family-run establishment with a wonderful atmosphere and highly professional service. We opted for the meat dishes, and they were exceptional—the flavor, the cook, and the presentation were all perfect. They also boast an incredibly extensive wine list and spirits selection. I must also highlight the restaurant manager. He is the embodiment of 'Italian magic.' He checked in on us several times to ensure everything was perfect and gave us a very warm, friendly farewell. It made the evening truly special.

Fantastic experience ! Had a short break in Genoa with my wife in early January and ended up going to Zeffirino's on three different occasions. Everything was top class from the ambiance through to the service from professional, knowledgeable waiters serving beautifully cooked and presented plates of food. Sumptuous pasta and sea food dishes rounded off with a medley of melt in your mouth desserts and of course their signature home made Pistachio ice-cream (the finest ice-cream we have ever eaten) Compliments to all the staff that made are visits so memorable. Bravo! Highly recommend.

Amazing food and amazing service! The owner was present throughout the evening, helping wherever needed and chatting with both staff and guests. You can tell he truly cares about the restaurant — and the flavors proved it as well.

Went last year for my sisters birthday and I still think of this place. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and above all the service was phenomenal. The staff were so friendly and we even took pictures with the chef and owner❤️❤️❤️😘

We dined at Zeffirino Genova on June 30th during the second stop of our cruise, and the experience was unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were treated to a special pesto-making class led by an executive chef. He demonstrated how to make traditional pesto from scratch and transform it into fresh pasta right before our eyes. For our meal, we were served a beautifully prepared fish dish topped with nuts and accompanied by potatoes. The ravioli and linguine with pesto were simply perfecto—rich in flavor and full of class. To end on a sweet note, we were given a complimentary dessert that tasted like a wine or rum cake—moist, flavorful, and the perfect finish to a sophisticated and memorable dining experience.

A lovely restaurant with tradition, decent prices and wonderful staff. Particulary the staff who goes above and beyond. The restaurant was opened in 1939 and has passed down three generations. The visitors include both popes, Frank Sinatra, Madonna and Pavarotti. The staff are friendly, know their craft and have good humor. This is a must place visit in Genoa

Super awesome restaurant in Genoa. Highly recommended. It has a lot of history and the team that is running the restaurant is third generation. The food is amazing and very high-quality. I love the vibe and their service is super fantastic. The restaurant is very well decorated in the team is lovely. very Italian.
