Fantastic little joint serving up all the diner classics. I came specifically for their coney dog but the other stuff we got was all tasty, quickly prepared and served hot. We didn't come for breakfast but by the looks of the orders we saw cooking up, it's one of their big sellers. It's a small place so could be a wait for a table, so be prepared. Worth a visit!

My first time in Detroit and this place did not disappoint. I went at breakfast time, but decided to have a Coney dog and biscuits and gravy. The service was phenomenal from the moment. I stepped in till the moment I left. It was my first time having a Coney dog and biscuits and gravy, and the kitchen staff did an amazing job.

This diner is PERFECT. As a vegetarian, I come for the super hippy hash, it's one of my favorite breakfasts in Michigan! The food is consistently DELICIOUS and comes out crazy fast. The staff here run this place like a well-oiled machine and are always kind and thoughtful. I've been coming here for a long time, and I hope it never changes, except maybe to add a plant-based breakfast meat to the menu!

This was our last stop before leaving Detroit and wow, we wish we had come here sooner. We may have eaten every meal here! Their menu is soooo expansive and the service is great. We came for breakfast but also had to order a coney dog for the nostalgia. Both breakfast and the dog were delish. It's conveniently located next to the market so I imagine it gets busy for lunch on the weekends. Definitely order a coney dog and the #7 breakfast was great too! Thank you Zeff's for a great departure meal!

What a classic local dinner. Really friendly service especially if you sit at the counter where you can watch food made on the griddle. Come here to get your coney fix or just a good breakfast (hash browns are amazing). Pro tip: order off the menu a Coney Island omelette where they put the beef hot dog, and cheese in an omelette topped with chili and diced onions.
