I've been here twice and haven't been disappointed either time. The service is very welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. The food is simply superb and has even improved noticeably between my two visits. It's particularly impressive to create a vegetarian menu of such high quality. The wine pairing is excellent, but the non-alcoholic drinks are also very exciting and have been developed with great attention to detail and produced in-house. I can highly recommend a visit to anyone. It's definitely worth the money!

Went here with my wife for a course dinner. The restaurant has less than 10 tables inside, few tables outside and one big room for a group of up to 6 people. We picked to expand the menu with one more course, which made us very full in the end :) My wife decided to go with non-alcoholic pairing. I went for half wine pairing. Wine selection from the personal was great to complement the food: had two whites and one red from Germany and France. The house-made non-alcoholic drinks were quite interesting and surprising, for example, there was a drink that smelled like strawberry but tasted like tomato :) The buttermilk drink with herbs was quite nice! The dishes were of high quality and beautiful plating. Simple in ingredients and at the same time sophisticated in taste. Among the favorites were: the starter with lettuce, onion and buttermilk; the beetroot with cherry - cherry based sauce was yummy; the trout fish with radish and cucumber; and the transitional course after the main course to dessert with currant and soup vegetables - very refreshing. Main dishes with chicken were simple to our taste. We spent around 4.5 hours for the dining experience which is totally fine as we needed breaks in between the courses. The final bill was around 400€ which is okay for fine dining in Germany for two. We would come back here again in 1-2 years to check again how the restaurant would evolve.

The journey started with a celebration of the humble onion. When amuses-bouches are this epic, you know you're gonna have a fun and tasty evening. These high expectations were exceeded by every dish that followed. The beetroot starter, as tasty as it looks, the sauce on the pumpkin dish and the extraordinary pairing with the extra duck dish. Staff members were very friendly and even tried to talk Dutch to me. Thank you for an amazing evening!

Super extra !!!! Everything was really delicious!! Crew super nice, introduction and describe menu was really amazing. Taste was brilliant, a lot of texture mixed with cold and hot, some3imes sweet sometimes sous. Perfect! Wine first class, the same like sommerie!

Excellent food, prepared with great attention to detail and good presentation. The pictures should speak for themselves. There is only one six course set menu, either 'everything' or vegetarian. Various 'greetings' were served before/between the six courses. The service is very attentive, while still being 'down-to-earth' and friendly, less formal, which we really enjoyed. We called last-minute on a Tuesday and managed to get the last table for that evening , but would strongly recommend to make reservations.

Amazing experience! Gradually building course menu with the starter & dessert compliments, tasty & complex flavors in each & every dish with great attention to details both from the products quality perspective & the presentation. Relatively small but wonderful choice of wines by the glass, as well as in-house non-alcoholic drinks. Extremely positive experience with the whole staff speaking English & being ready to present the dishes in a genuine & easy-going manner. The highlight is the humbleness & down to earth approach of the chef, as he will be serving some of the courses himself and openly asking for feedback & discussing the experience in the restaurant. Only 1 downside - it might be a bit too crowded & loud, as space between the tables is rather small.

Truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Every dish was a delight. I absolutely loved the “earthy” taste, Green star well deserved. Will definitely be coming back!!! The service is impeccable and even the street is lovely. Highest recommendations!

We came with very high expectations and were not disappointed! Great, creatively composed food. Great attention to detail and service. I like that Zeik offers a non-alcoholic drink-pairing.

Super Menu und sehr stimmige Weinbegleitung. Tolle Farben auf dem Teller. Der Service ist aufmerksam und im Umgang angenehm locker. Ein super Abend.

Memorable meal, we loved the intimate size of the restaurant and the exellent food! Fantastic to have chef Axel's culinary mastery back in Hamburg! Never had better red beets than here!
