I saw that this was open after a having a little walk on a Friday night, I thought it looked a bit interesting though this will be at least the second review for this particular address, could be the third. Though that being said, so I got around to giving them a try. I arrived around 4:20, yep, went to an open kiosk. After a few moments back and forth trying decide between the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and the Korean Cheese Steak, ended up going with the Korean Cheese Steak, got in bowl with Red Quinoa, and added an order of seasoned fries. The process took maybe three minutes, didn't opt to get the free "Dirty Boba Milk Tea" as I am not really a tea drinker. I found the kiosk ordering efficient, and painless, though a customer that came in a few minutes later had some questions which the staff quickly help her with her questions. The wait was only about 5 to 8 minutes tops, before I had my food in hand and was headed home. So I found it pretty quick, though I do have admit 4:30 in the afternoon is certainly not going to be a busy time, though there were about 5 other customers in location at the time. The Korean Cheese Steak was pretty good, though wish it wasn't quite as cold as it was, it was a little tepid, almost room temperature, though it was tasty all the same and not sure what temperature it was supposed to be as the rest of the items in the bowl/box were somewhat chilled. It was served a bed of lettuce with the red quinoa, followed by the Korean Cheese Steak next and then what appeared to be some sort of coleslaw. I did find it an enjoyable meal. The Season fries, they were seasoned, though seasoned with what I really couldn't tell, they weren't bad, just a little bit strange tasting to me, maybe because of some kind of weird fusion thing. In any case, I will be going again, I just must try the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and maybe the Basil Crab Cake, though I think I will have the sea salt fries instead of the seasoned ones. Also I got a kick out the little Matrix reference at the bottom of their receipt 😋

Great spot in wicker park for boba teas and delicious rice wrap sandwiches. The spicy shrimp rice paper wrap that I got was filled with so many great ingredients and was super delicious. The truffle fries were also good and the boba tea was awesome. The restaurant has a large variety of boba teas and each tea can me modified to your liking. This is a great spot for a quick bite and I will definitely return to try other items from the menu

This is my boyfriend’s new favorite place. He loves the ciabatta bread. I think I’ll order that next time. The katsu is crispy. I got a salad bowl and it was very filling. I love arugula and the bf is a huge fan of cilantro. The brisket isn’t my favorite. The ordering screen was pretty painless. It was so hot inside though and even though the windows were open, there are lots of smokers who pass by. The boba sugar levels are definitely on the sweeter side. I think 50-80% was fine. The employees were really nice and helpful. We got the extra milk tea and were surprised by the size since we also ordered regular boba.

Unique, Asian fusion flavors sets this delivery and pick up only restaurant apart and will have you craving more! Choose from a quinoa bowl, ciabatta sandwich, or rice paper wrap, then add your protein! Options include, spicy garlic shrimp, basil crab cakes, tofu, Thai bbq pork, Korean cheesesteak, and chicken teriyaki katsu. Chicken Teriyaki Katsu Wrap: Japanese style bread crumb chicken breast, house coleslaw, teriyaki sauce Thai BBQ (Mu Ping) Zenwich: Thai style roasted pork belly, shredded carrots, daikon, cucumber, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, with homemade tangy sweet aioli on ciabatta bread We also tried the Korean Cheese Steak Quinoa bowl! I could eat this all day long! The melty mozzarella on top of the marinated brisket For sides we got the house coleslaw, cucumber salad, and truffle fries. Don't sleep on these sides, they definitely exceeded our expectations!

While going to my bus stop, I had a chance to make a quick visit to this cute little place for boba or bubble tea 🧋! There is a vending machine for bubble tea on campus, but still wanted to try a different flavor and got the rose tea with boba 🥰. It was definitely a success, even with 50% sugar level the drink wasn’t bland at all! Staff members were sweet too, and I do want to go back for other tea options (and maybe a sandwich too)!!

Google
Incredible bahn mi style sandwich. Was fresh and warm the bread they use was incredible. The seasoned fries I feel were misrepresented on the menu- hey were cinnamon sugar (emphasis on the sugar) which I was not expecting, I was hoping for something savory given the name. Still tasty just not what I was hoping for.

I've been waiting for zenwich x elitea to open for a long time since I love a good Asian fusion place and boba shop. I'm happy to report that the food is good! I came in just after 5:30 pm for an early dinner. It was empty/I was the only person there, but it was opening week. They have self order kiosks so ordering food was quick. I waited just over 5 minutes to get my food. The total cost came out to $18.54 ($10 sandwich, $6.75 drink + tax). I got the Thai BBQ Pork Belly Sandwich and Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea (50% Sweetness, Less Ice). The sandwich is very tasty with a good balance of flavors (even though it seems like there's a lot of carrots). The ingredients seemed fresh and the sandwich was well prepared. I wouldn't mind a little more meat/less veg and the ciabatta bread did get a little soggy, but it was around a 10 min walk home before getting to eat. The milk tea was also decent, although the boba itself was too chewy and overdone. I hope the quality of their sandwiches continues on past the first week of their opening. I recommend the Thai BBQ Pork sandwich for those who enjoy a good banh mi. I do think one could say that the sandwich could be a little cheaper, but I didn't mind because it is wicker park and it's a specialty sandwich place. I will definitely come back to try their other sandwiches!

Google
Oof. Decent sandwiches, but limp fries, horrible boba (super hard and WAY under cooked—for myself and others in my group), pricey, obnoxious service, and really gross bathrooms that you can get whiffs of in the main area. That’s really not cool or good. I’m not sure what’s going on with this place, maybe it was unique to the time we went or them being early in their opening, but I wish them luck. I will not be back. Too many other great spots in this area and Chicago.

Yelp
Fast. Taste is 100000/10. Fresh boba, was still warm when we got our drink. Will come back asap!

Yelp
Great tea spot! The staff is great as are the drink options! The classic milk tea boba wasn't too bad either!

Yelp
Lychee green tea was so good. Used the kiosk to order and got my drink pretty quickly. I'm not familiar with the area (or what it's called) but everything around there was super cute.

Yelp
This place was such an unexpected find! I loved the boba, one of the best bobas in Chicago for sure! The quality and quantity of boba in the milk tea was amazing.

Yelp
My first time at this location and I love the fact that they had croffles and other food besides the usual popcorn chicken! We got the Matcha and Nutella Croffles. Personally recommend the Matcha. It wasn't too sweet and the croffles come precut so very easy to share and eat! We also got Lychee Peach Jasmine Green Tea with Lychee and Mango Jelly, Strawberry Orange Jasmine Green Tea with Crystal Boba, and the Korean Spicy Chicken Katsu Sandwich. I'm not a spicy person but my boyfriend loved it. He said it tastes good both hot or cold. Staff was nice and friendly and the spot is small like any other boba place. By 2pm on a Sunday it was packed with people waiting for seats.

Yelp
It was good sevice. I liked the everything about here. Also got a soft toy here. Ambience is good. Quick service.
google avatar

Yelp
The boba here was amazing. They have a ton of different flavors to choose from as well as delicious food and desserts. The matcha ice cream was super good and matcha is usually a hit or miss for me. The croffles are ridiculously good. It's a croissant tasting dessert in the shape of a waffle. There are tons of toppings to choose from. The decor is super cute and they have fun K-pop songs and videos playing in the background. There is some seating but it's not super big. The employees were very nice and pleasant.

Yelp
Super tasty drinks and snacks! It's been my latest go to. I love all the jelly options and fresh fruit added to the drinks makes the experience so refreshing!
google avatar

Lucy F.

Yelp
Overall experience was ok. The boba tea was only in one size "large". They addd minimum boba and lots of ice. You make your own order on a kiosk and then pick up your drinks. The place was a bit crowded for a Thursday afternoon. We tried the strawberry orange jasmine green tea with crystal boba and not as much sweet added. On the kiosk you can select the amount of sugar/sweetener you will like added to your drink.

Yelp
I love that Uni Uni has come to the neighborhood! I am a fan of bubble tea and usually always venture to Chinatown when I crave so it, but this location is right on Milwaukee in Wicker Park. Their focus is currently tea, but they have slowly added new items, including food in the past month or so including corn dogs. It was a welcome space the moment I stepped in. Lots of colors on the wall that reflect their rainbow/pastels/unicorn mascot, lots of great photos ops too. I ordered on self-service stations (there were two) and then picked up my drink at the counter a short wait later. If there is staff at the cashier, you can order directly with them too and ask any questions about the drinks or ask for recommendations. The first time I came here, I got the pineapple passionfruit fruit tea with 50% sugar and light ice. I loved how you could customize your sugar and ice level to your preference. I've since had the grape jasmine green tea and their lychee peach jasmine green tea. If you have any trouble deciding, there is a big monitor inside that displays their most popular drinks in each category. I will be back! For more, follow me on IG @gratuitousgourmande

Yelp
Already had plans to visit here and while walking in Wicker Park we found two staff members passing out samples! Got the house milk tea and the tea flavor was strong just like how we like it. Service pretty quick. There are 2 big screens where you can order. Staff members call out names but they were quite quiet so I didn't realize my drink was already ready. After taxes a regular sized drink was $7+ which felt pricey but I guess all milk tea spots are quite expensive these days.

Yelp
Best place to get corndogs in Wicker Park. They are so good in the bubble. Tea is absolutely amazing you order at a little kiosk and then you wait for your items. There is good places to sit, but sometimes it gets busy and you end up having to stand around. overall I really enjoy this place definitely will be back.

Yelp
First of all the owner is amazing and so nice. This was a wonderful visit the sun was shining and people where eating and happy. They where also hosting an art show!! I got a MOCHINUT!!! YUMMM ANDD POPCORN CHICKEN!!! Most of all i got a delicious mango boba with cheese foam!!! 1000% the vibes and taste was here would come again!

Yelp
Wow my green milk tea with tapioca was great. Just took longer than expected in early afternoon, 10 minutes with 3 other people in the place.

Yelp
Overpriced $7 and $9 for mostly iced tea with some tapioca Boba... shop was cute. Service was fine.

Yelp
One of the cutest boba shops around, with some of the best fruity and milky teas! Uni Uni has multiple locations in Chicago, but I was extra excited that one opened up in Wicker Park because there's not enough boba in this neighborhood! Its the perfect location on Milwaukee Ave to grab a refreshing boba and go for a stroll up or down the street on a warm summer day. I've never been a fruit tea person (mostly just milk teas) UNTIL I WENT TO UNI UNI! They seriously got their recipe down as their fruit teas are very balanced and a nice mix of sweet and tart. I loved the passion fruit jasmine green tea yakult (100% sweet, light ice), with added lychee jelly. Don't skip on the lychee jelly and lychee popping boba as add ons for the fruit teas! You won't regret it. I've also had their peach watermelon jasmine green tea with yakult, and it had little chunks of fruit in it! I'm hooked! And of course their milk tea is great. I had their signature milk tea and it was delicious! I also must say I was STOKED that they have a snack menu, namely, the popcorn chicken. Its hard to find a boba place in Chicago that sells popcorn chicken, let alone makes it with quality. Uni uni did not disappoint! It comes out crispy and hot, fresh out of the fryer and was seasoned well. The perfect savory snack to accompany the drinks. They're in the process of decorating the space since they recently opened but it's already looking super cute with it's unicorn mural on the wall as you enter the shop. Recently they installed a cotton candy machine that makes colorful creations like a flower at the center of the ball. So cute!! And yummy! The different colors are different flavors. I have been here several times already so it's safe to say I will be here many many more times, especially as they grow their menu.

Yelp
They added popcorn chicken to the menu! The chicken itself was really good, great ratio of breading to meat. There was just one piece of fries basil. I'm not sure if they plan on adding other sauces for dipping, but they offered some "sweet mayo". The popcorn chicken comes in a small and large size - the small was perfect for sharing between two people!

Yelp
Boba in the heart of Wicker Park! I'm glad I can now get good boba near the wicker neighborhood. This Uni Uni used to be Zenwich x Elitea. You can order through one of their two kiosks when you enter the shop. I love how you are able to customize the sugar and ice levels of the drinks. My favorite thing to get at Uni Uni is their Oolong Milk Tea, no sweetener, with Tapioca. I've never had a problem with my drinks at any Uni Uni. The murals on the wall are so fun and bright. They have a pretty good amount of seats. Overall a great spot and no complaints!

Yelp
Uni Uni is a great addition to Wicker Park! I like their innovativeness to keep putting out new things for the holidays as well as always providing tasty boba tea to the community. Their self ordering stations and quick service make the whole experience easy. Very nice wall art and cotton candy machine as well. Would highly recommend!
google avatar

Andrea W.

Yelp
Got the special fruit tea which came with a whole bunch of different fresh fruits, really tasty! Tea could've been stronger but pretty good, much better than I expected it would be. Got it with no sugar, no ice. Space is cute, lots of chairs, wall art is very cute and colorful. Drink is pretty pricey for what it is but I guess that's how much boba typically is nowadays!
google avatar

Cecilia X.

Yelp
This place is fine. I'm pretty picky about my boba and in Chicago I always recommend people try Gathers tea bar, that's the gold standard. This place is pretty similar to your standard kung fu tea or gong Cha. Not bad, it scratches the itch, but by no means worth going out of your way for. When I was last there I did see at least one Asian person working behind the counter though so points for that!
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Favorite boba in China town, now in Wicker Park! Got the taro bubble tea today and tried a Korean corn dog! Did not disappoint. Thought about going back to the gym, but it was worth it! I think it's like tempura breaded or something. Like a giant cheese stick! I inhaled it. Welcome to the neighborhood~
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Came in on a hot summer day- wish they could have turned the AC on more since it was so hot. The mango smoothie was more sweet to my liking, but their tapioca balls were made perfectly. Will have to come again and try out a different drink since it's one of the only boba shops around in the area!
google avatar

Andrianna A.

Yelp
Nice staff but they were sold out of all the things we wanted to try. Really disappointing.
google avatar

Faye L.

Yelp
Food was good. Service is sh*t. She actually shoved the tray of food at me when i asked why others behind me got their food and i am still waiting. Very insulting.
google avatar

Dania S.

Yelp
Got the rose tea with boba, half sugar, and it was delicious! Service is quick and friendly. I'll be back!
google avatar

Herlin G.

Yelp
The boba here is so delicious! It felt as if I were drinking holy water! It was so good that I felt so thankful to be alive and be able to experience such a tasty experience. It absolutely filled me up with joy!
google avatar

Isaly G.

Yelp
this was okay i should've gotten the less sugar option, i got the ancient brown sugar milk tea and tried the white grape jasmine tea - both were mad sweet but that's not stoping me from going there again ha! the tapioca pearls were kinda hard in the center but alas i think tapioca conditions depend on what day it is.

Trash3d_Potatoes ..

Yelp
it's really cool, and they have nice service. I love that they have self ordering station. and it's very clean inside

Sam E.

Yelp
Loveee this place Oreo smoothie is my fav!! Y'all should definitely check it outt. Customer service is awesome I got my drink pretty fast.

Dada J.

Yelp
We randomly walked into Uni Uni after dinner. We didn't know what to order. Staffs recommended their White Grape drinks. White Grape lemon jasmine green tea was very refreshing and full of natural flavour and aroma. Love it! Their Mango smoothie tasted like Manila Mango!

Meg C.

Yelp
uni uni has really unique flavor options. ive gotten the taro coconut latte with soy milk twice and it's delicious. the staff is really nice too. my only qualm with this place is that the boba was clumped together both of the times i got a drink
