I don't just hand out five-star reviews, but this place really stands out. Our waitress and the bartender were splendid. They have a killer sound system. The food... absolutely delightful with every bite. I like how the kitchen is visible. I highly recommend having a meal here.

The food at Zest is back to being great again. We ate there tonight and we loved it. The service is also five stars!

Had their meatballs appetizer and a burger. They were good but unremarkable. Service was great - not too many people here on Monday evening.

very upsetting..my 75 year old father celebrated his birthday last weekend. I ordered a doordash from his favorite restaurant. It was beef stragnoff. At the last minute my dad changed his mind to a salmon dinner because he's diabetic. Doordash wouldn't switch it so I called the restaurant directly. John, the manager was very accommodating and assured me he would make the change even when I offered to make up the difference. I've worked in the business for years and realize mistakes do happen, so when doordash delivered Beef Strognaff instead of Salmon it was disappointing, but my dad ate everything minus the noodles. John personally called me on his cell phone and was very apologetic and stated he would personally bring him a meal when he returned home (my dad had a flight later that evening) It has been a week later with no meal and no communication from John. It's sad because I wanted him to have a nice meal from his favorite restaurant. He lives not even a mile away from the restaurant. What started out as a nice transaction turned into empty promises for a local elderly man on his birthday.

Went for Happy Hour (posted on website and receipt as 3-6pm), but was told it's only 8-9pm 10% off. Food was good and server was wonderful- even though short staffed. Would have liked to see more teamwork to help her. Will definitely go back - meatballs were really good!

We did take out so I can only speak to that experience. My husband and I had a sweet tooth so we ordered the cheesecake and the tiramisu. Both are truly delicious!!! My only (very small) complaint is the online menu states the cheesecake comes with 3 sauces on the side (caramel, chocolate, strawberry) but it arrived plain. Had we also had those, these two desserts would rank as one of our best experiences. We will not hesitate to visit in person and try more than just the goodies. Yum!

Ordered delivery and the sliders were completely raw! This is literally after having to have the first burger replaced because "they sold out" so raw sliders is the option? Great thanks!

The most amazing restaurant in our local neighborhood and four tourist. We can also travel here from the trip. The menu was amazing., the vodka rigatoni with the added shrimp was extra special! They sell wine by the glass or by the bottle with a full bar. staff and great prices!

Me and my husband was excited to go to Zest. We ordered the potato skins they were awful . Caprese salad was so small I ordered a drink too it was happy hr The bill was over 50 dollars We won't be going back

Glad it's back with a fresh face. It was terrible during the temporary ownership change when it was SoHi. Food is great. Prices are great. One of my favorite spots to go when visiting friends in the area. Try the tomahawk steak, orange roughy, pasta salad, and the lasagna.

Great appetizers! The service is always great. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They have the best cheesecake. Indoor and outdoor dining. TVs with sports.

As a long time SoHi resident we have been coming here for many years. There have been many changes and the ride has been bumpy but...we were here tonight and pleasantly surprised. The menu provides so many options and the food was delicious!!! Yianni B is still there so it's nice to have a familiar face. If you're in SoHi I recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat as you'll find this to be a nice spot. So glad it's back in full force and ready to cater to the SoHi community again. They listened to their customers and are giving them what they want!!!!

Great neighborhood spot. They recently revamped things a little, they use to be called Zest Bistro. Great place to grab good food and a glass of wine. I have to say, I'm always pleasantly surprised when I bite into my dish when I eat here. They serve traditional american/italian food that looks fairly basic on the menu and when they bring it out .. but man the food is so flavorful and delicious! I absolutely love their caesar salad and calamari. I ordered this chicken and artichoke dish and the sauce was sooo good. Hats off to the chef!

Giving a new shot out to this place! It was always good but, it slipped a little b/c of ownership turnover. The menu is back and, the food is amazing! HIGHLY recommend! Owners have made improvements, the atmosphere is chill, this is not a dive, Southern Highlands is expensive and this place is reasonable when you consider the food is top notch! I had the Calamari & the Caprese salad, and the lobster ravioli. I'll try to get something different next time but it will be hard, so good! ;)

Now that Billy is back, we are going to be returning regulars again. Love the service, staff and ambiance as we always feel like we are around family with the OG crew! Never had a bad meal yet!

This restaurant is so overpriced for what it is. $40+ for a fatty steak and some veggies? No thank you. $18-25 for a mediocre pasta dish.. cmon now. There are much better places to spend your money on food. 100% do not recommend as far as getting your moneys worth. At least the service was good. I don't understand why this place has such good reviews? (Southern highlands location)

Normally this place is amazing. Lately I've ordered some wings and they've come burnt unsauced and gross. Today even the fries are like OLD and like recooked. Completely gross. Have half a mind to drive it down and ask them for a new one. Normally I sit. Complain like that but gross. You guys need s new freaking cook. The guy that cooked my stuff in the past was a master.

Food and service was amazing Had the tacos the potato skins and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the bbq hamburger All perfect gracious service Love it will be back

SPOILED FOOD BEING SERVED HERE. Ugh!! Wanted to like this place so bad since it is close to us but was mortified. Ordered a steak medium and it came out burnt and completely overcooked. Waited a long time for a new one to be made and when it finally came, it was evidently spoiled. Smelled terrible and to make sure my senses weren't just off, I took a bite but spit it right back out. Took a while to get rid of the taste in my mouth. Nobody there seems surprise that this even happened. Stay away folks!! We all deserve better.

We had a wonderful meal this evening at our new favorite restaurant, Zest! They added whole wheat pasta with my filet and did a great veggie penne for my wife. We both enjoyed the food, and talked about how great the service was. Special thanks to Billy, the owner and Yanni for the great service. We will be back very soon!

Nice Vibe and clean! Felt welcomed when we walked in. Customer Service was good and prompt. Food was delicious. We both had the Surf N Turf with Ribeye. Fries ans veggies. Definitely will be back.

My last review of 2021 goes out to... Zest Bristo! My boyfriend lives on the outskirts of Southern Highlands so I've been in around this area a lot over the past two years or so. Zest Bristo completed my list of every local restaurant I have visited in the Southern Highlands Marketplace. We walked in and we were greeted by one of the bartenders. The bar itself was busy, but there were plenty of tables available in the dining area. With many TVs all around, this looks like a great place to watch a Golden Knights or a Raiders game. Their menu comes in a brochure and they have so many selections, ranging from sandwiches to pasta. Along with their regular bread as a starter, we started off with some pesto garlic bread as an appetizer, with cheese and tomatoes served on a French baguette. My boyfriend ordered a Cesar salad as his own separate appetizer. They were sold out of two food items when we were there, which were calamari and I don't remember the other one. I think it was meatballs. Though they mostly have Italian food, I decided to try their MOAB (Mother of all Burgers), cooked medium well and served with fries and ketchup on the side. My boyfriend ordered the lobster ravioli, served with mushrooms, asparagus, and vodka sauce inside. We enjoyed everything about what we ordered. Bellissimo! They were playing 80's music as well, which was the perfect fit for a restaurant like this. Make sure to call them ahead of time and ask for a reservation, which I did. When I looked on their website, on Yelp, and on OpenTable, I couldn't find any reservation links or results. I'll definitely try their signature cocktails the next time I come around here.

We have been coming here since they opened and when new bartenders start who do not know how to bartend and be gracious to faithful customers it is time to exit. Bye Bye..

Grabbed lunch here with my grandma yesterday and overall I'd say this place is just alright. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. The food was okay too. I had the burger and my grandma had the chicken parm sandwich. Burger came out cooked to my liking but nothing about it stood out. Fries were crispy and hot which is always a plus. On a final note.... There was a weird smell in this place. It smelled like old, wet rags. I do not see myself coming back here.

We've ordered delivery before and did a pick up order today for pasta with meatball. The food is delicious, and the meatball was tender and oh so flavorful! I wish there was a little more of that primo marinara sauce on the pasta noodles but it was still devoured! We've had the lasagna in the past and we remembered it fondly.

We tried this restaurant for the first time this week. First impressions, nicely arranged restaurant and bar, food was delicious. Recommend the chicken parmigiana or the seafood pasta dish. Appetizers were great and all portions were worth the money. Service was good, happy hour menu has decent prices and options. This is a good restaurant for drinks, snacks, and a place to catch a game. They offer a free happy hour drink to (most) customers. Be sure to grab the cards at the front of the entrance with details. Met the owners and (he/they) they made me feel at home while expressing a family atmosphere vice your typical dark bar and restaurant. No video poker at the bar. Refreshing.

We went there in a Saturday night at 6:00. The place was empty. Crazy, this location used to be packed. We ordered a variety of items, from fries and buffalo chicken to vodka sauce pasta. The prices are not cheap and the food was mediocre at best. The biggest disappointment was the pastrami hoagie. It looked like it was on a hot dog bun with a few shtick slices of pastes and a piece of cheese. I hope it can get a better chef and higher quality of food, because this local place has potential ti be packed under the right management.

A better place to catch a game in SOHI. More TVs and generally, for now, you can actually get a seat at the bar. A bit brighter than the neighbor. Check 'em out. Support your local business. Good daily specials as well as breakfast.

Went to this local bar/restaurant for breakfast/lunch- decided on breakfast. BIG MIstake! We noticed that there were only 5 people in the place at noon, thought that was unusual for a football Sunday.We each ordered an omelet cooked done and crispy hash browns, and a biscuit. The omelets were NOT DONE, actually the whites which I think we shouldn't have been able to see were runny and the potatoes were mashed potatoes with orange seasoned salt. My sister barely made it home before, well, the bathroom devils visited her 10 minutes after we left the restaurant. My guess is MSG??? To say the least I'm thankful I didn't eat the mashed potatoes (ordered hash browns, crispy.) Overall the worst $35 I've ever spent for breakfast.

Decided to try something new last week and the service and food was great! I had the chicken Alfredo it was so good! Highly recommended

Gosh I wish we took time to snap a picture of the food. The salmon dish was a 10/10. The ambiance was nice, and the space was clean.

This is a casual place and has a wide range selection of food. They offer a little of everything from burgers, sandwiches, kabobs, fish, steak, and pasta. They also have a full bar. Their blue berry martini was good. We ordered the meatball as a side dis, chicken Alfredo pasta, Philly steak sandwich and salmon with asparagus. The food was good. The servers were attentive. Jesse was our main server and he has another woman who was helping him. Their service was fast. Good quality service and food.

The food is great I recommend the fried calamari with penne pasta with vodka sauce and a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The service and ambiance is excellent.

Have not been here in a couple of years. The service was average but the food was really good. I ordered the French pork chops with the potato pie. It was spot on! My bride ordered the shrimp scampi and she enjoyed her meal as well. The Caesar salad was fresh and well dressed. The rest of our party ordered steaks and all four enjoyed them. Don't k ow why this place dropped off our radar but we will be headed back to Zest!

Totally screwed up their wine menu. Only sell SoHi labeled wine so total guessing game on what you are going to get. Used to be great place--not so much anymore. Sad.

We had read the reviews of So Hi, decided to try it, and were not disappointed. As most reviews said, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. With the bar in the middle and plenty of tables/ chairs surrounding, it was a great spot to watch the second game of the Stanley Cup.

Over priced . Used to be tons better when it was the previous owners " off the strip". Quality down, prices up ! Went from a high class establishment to a mid range . Food has went down . Nothing like before .

Ambiance was great . Service awesome! Kudos to the servers who really are out to please. Food was nothing great. Looked fancy but nothing to rave about. Don't order the puréed potatoes. Tasted like overwatered Idaho instant mashed potatoes....for the price I paid, I could have had better elsewhere and not paid as much

Breakfast was great and we had no wait! We were seated immediately. Coffee was tasty and served reasonably quickly. Hash browns were perfectly cooked and seasoned as were the eggs. Pancakes were spot on for taste and texture! Bonus that they had all the football games being played at this time in the various big screens around the establishment. Very well pleased with So Hi and will be back.

Sad to say, it used to be a go-to eatery, lots of changes here, but quality has gone downhill. I gave it a 2 star, but should have been negative stars.

This is just bizzaro-- how does this place have 4.5 stars? I'm completely and utterly bewildered. This restaurant's cuisine plays out like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Ordered takeout. Linguine and clams: The clams weren't fresh, definitely canned. The noodles were overcooked and definitely not homemade; they were mushy, tasteless, and smothered in cheese. The lasagna was a standout-- not only was it not mediocre, it was horrible. Legit the worst I've ever had. The lasagna wasn't even a coherent stack of noodles. This brick of lard was SO cheesy, it was inedible. Their "NY Cheescake" they rave about is worse than the pre-cut, frozen stuff they sell at Smith's. The gelatinous faux cheesecake was just plain gross. I'm embarrassed for them to have such little passion about their food that they would actually serve this nonsense. How does this place have 4.5 stars?!! As Gordon would say, "What in the bloody hell?!!"

I just ordered food via door dash and this the first time my food was horrible.... I've ordered food from here multiple times and never had an issue. This time the food was horrible.... It's not worth the price this time....

Been there twice, bad service, food is not very good. I would go back to watch sports, there's a lot of TVs.

I have to say I didn't expect much from this place after I walked in but the food was very very good. Only thing better than the food was the service provided by Joshua. Talk about attentive. I'll be back for sure

Ordered from SoHi a few times now on delivery apps and every single time their food has been on point. I've tried a few different dishes and they've nailed each one of them. Finally came in instead of ordering and the food was A-1 quality AND Yani gave us great service at the bar.. I highly recommend, they've done a great job.
