Zesto - Forest Park

I have not eaten at this restaurant since 2021. My location used to be on little five points! I found out today that that place closed because a tree fell on the building today. I will never forget the feeling that I had when I pulled up and they were closed! This is a Atlanta GA staple the restaurant has been around since 1949! I live on the east side and I passed the Moreland Ave location plenty of times! I'm from the hood now shade I just couldn't get myself to visit there because of the amount of bad reviews! I found out about this location through Uber Eats! I'm glad that I did! I got a foot long with out onions and a chubby burger with out onions buy one get one free promo and a order of onion rings and a chocolate malt shake! There is a difference from a regular shake the flavor and the taste! Creme De la Creme pull up and support! I gave 5 stars if I could give 10 stars I would! The taste of the hot dog with the chilli and the burger has a delicious taste! This place embodies what makes Zestos! Keep up the great work to all of the employees!

OMG! I've been missing out! If this would be your 1st time supporting this franchise, y'all should give the "Chubby Decker" or the "Fat Boy" a chance... I promise you, you'll love it. After this meal, chase it with a "Banana Split on a cup". Staff were REALLY nice and with great attitude during our whole visit. Please, support our local business. Enjoy!

A burger place that feels like you just went back in time to some of the best days of your life. This is the kind of place that your dad and your dad‘s dad went to on date night back in the day. Delicious, fast, clean, cordial, convenient, and historical what else could you want? I had a patty melt. I’m not gonna tell you it’s better than this or better than that or better than those guys down the street but this place is great. You can’t sit here comparing it to anything. Whatever you order, you can’t go wrong. As far as some of those Karen’s doing one star reviews complaining about people not changing their gloves and all the other little nonsense that they complain about, get a grip. I don’t know how they get through life on a daily basis worrying about the things they worry about. When this place opens, back in 1949, I don’t even think anyone knew about rubber gloves, even being invented yet. So get over that. And you know some of y’all are at home making food for your guests not wearing gloves either so give that a rest. This is a must try if you’re in the area.

I've been coming to Zestos for about 15 years. I stopped eating fast food about 2 years ago. Zestos was the last fast food joint I ate before I went on my diet. Came back to Zestos last night as a celebration and my mind was blown when I looked at the prices. You have to be kidding me, yall are pricing your food out like your some major chain restaurant. The meal I use to order was around $10....Now you want me to pay $15 for the same thing? My wife and I use to come here as a treat under $25, and now the same meals come up close to $40? For that I'd rather go to a real dine in location like Chillies! Nope, sorry Zestos you lost my money, we walked out and got burgers over at Chillies around the same price. You got to better!

ERICA IS AMAZING !!!! EXTREMELY PLEASANT !!! we came and got our usual footlongs and fries , the weinies were kinda tough but the food was still overall pretty good. But the customer service made the visit great. Erica was on top of everything and walked through the dining room with extra condiments and napkins checking on each table asking if there was anything she could get for them. Y'all got a rockstar on that register and front counter , I hope y'all realize it as well 😊

The line was long but moved. I ordered a 4pc Chicken Tender Combo #10 large with tots. I’ve never been to a Zesto’s that doesn’t serve real chicken tenders. They were hot but chicken with rib meat. They gave me toys but only after I saw they weren’t in the bag. The best thing from today was the large sprite. I couldn’t even eat the tenders and I live 45mins away from this one. 👎🏾 also got a large curly fry half full and large sweet tea spent $22.69. Never again👎🏾

Never heard of this place but was craving a strawberry milkshake and he suggested Zesto. Boy am I glad he did because I had my first strawberry milkshake here and it was 👌🏾. The Chili cheese fries and Burger hit the spot as well after a day of buses and trains.

Now, I’ve been coming here almost every other day just to get a soft serve cone with sprinkles, and this what I got never again, btw this was the third cone

I am happy that I did. The foott long my first time trying one hear with out the onions. I also got the chubby burger with a buy one get one free special no onions on my burgers. I also got a order of onion rings. The thing I like a lot about Zestos is that they have malt shakes not just regular shakes it's a difference! Delicious food the way the hot dog taste with the chilli and the hamburger got a delicious good taste! Im giving 5 stars if I could I would give 10 stars! This place embodies the taste and flavor of the real Zestos! I know about malt shakes from my first job in Savannah GA where I'm from to me there is nothing like this taste! I got a large chocolate malt shake it's been to long! Creme De la Creme pull up and support! The people running this location are doing a great job! I ordered my food through Uber Eats from the Forest Park location!

The attendant was a very sweet older lady. She was so nice and accommodating. They were out of Diet Coke. They were out of regular hotdog buns. I grabbed lunch here aster attending an event close by. I liked the hotdog and the toasted bun. The burgers are pretty mediocre. They come with no lettuce or any vegetables. I hate that. They also had no mayo. It was not very pleasant to eat. I'd recommend they improve this.

I wished there was a 3.5 but there's not. We came in around 1pm on a Wednesday and it was not busy, maybe 3 people in line. The service was better than what I have read on other reviews. I have never really been a Zestos fan because the food is just mid.... We tried to sit down but almost every table was dirty and I believe it took some of the Zestos corporate people to get someone out to clean the tables. I can tell you to not be in a hurry if you stop in as the food does take a couple mins longer than most fast food. I ordered the chili dog and a rocky road Artic blast. The hot dog was just a basic dog and looked a little pitiful but it tasted pretty good. The Artic blast was a small and it's bigger than most smalls are, I think this is a 16oz cup so the $7 for it is not as crazy as it sounds. The dining room is still like it was 30yrs ago when I came, it may be better if I had the sentimental value but I don't.

A true trifecta of mediocre quality, slow service and over priced. But the truly disappointing part is that the prices they charge are not what's on their menu. Since all the prices are already in masking tape, it seems they are either missing the roll, the ladder, or the give-a-shit.

Yo. The soft-serve still rocks my face off. And Zesto's remains one of the only places left where you can get a Blueberry Malt. Or a pineapple shake. Or a sundae. When's the last time you had a butterscotch crown? Or an arctic swirl? These things are made to order. So give them a few minutes, the wait will be worth it. Besides, the people behind the counter are friendly, and the place is air-conditioned and remains a nice place to escape the heat. Zesto rocks. Just go. Holler if you want some company.

They ONLY have 4 employees working, two of them are cashiers! This place was busy, about 8 people in line to order and 12+ waiting for their orders!! Where is the manager? They have to know how short handed and how busy they are and should be here to help their staff! It's part of their job! If the manager can not do their job, kick them to the curb and get someone in here that can. And if they are without a store manager the district manager should be in here, it's part of their job !!

Brokenhearted. What happened to this location? I guess the family isn't make much $ anymore? They don't care? I used to like coming here. But this is a travesty. Ordering board is filled with paper snippets omitting food products and/or atrocious price changes. They want $6 for a small shake. The last time I was here it wasn't that great. I can't phantom the idea of paying that while playing roulette on what I may get. Well I guess I'll bury this location along with the others that have already gone to concrete heaven. In other words, go ahead close and sell this location. Sad face. Zestos is not what it used to be. Big John, your legacy is almost gone. Dang. Just another memory.

Sat in drive thru for 25 mins, called the store to ask if they could pull the line up so I could get out of line and come inside to pick up my order she said yes but Nobody ever pulled the line up so now I'm stuck....10 mins pass and it's my time at the window and she tells me to come inside and I tell her "no because I sat here for 25+ mins and also called so I could get out of line that way I could come inside! This clown said the order WAS ready but refused to give me the order because I didn't pull up...so she called the police

I came to zestos on my lunch break because I was crazing chili cheese fries, I've had their food before it has been a hit or miss. But TODAY! Was a complete miss and failure. There was no chillen it was just ground beef and cheese on top and then as I was eating (because again I was hungry and craving some food) I noticed my fries were soggy and it's because it was sitting in oil in the container which you can see the oil at the bottom of the container! That is disgusting and not healthy at all! Also I couldn't return back because I was on my lunch break so it was a waste of money and I'll never go back to zestos! The drive thru took forever they aren't nice they are very rude

Back in the day, the FP Zestos us to be my spot. My favorite was a 2 pcs chicken snack white and a sweet tea. I recently visited and I guess things don't remain the same. To me, even the whole vibe was different. I was craving it, so I went. Now, one of the things I used to like about the FP zestos. The way they chopped their coleslaw was a lot finer consistency than other Zestos locations. Now I understand food costs have risen. However, the portion size now offered with the 2 piece chicken dinner is downright ridiculous. They now give u a take-home ketchup container portion size. The service was fine. The cook even informed me I would have a 15-minute wait for my chicken. I thought that was pretty nice.

Everything needs to be in improved especially the mangers and their customer service which they lack it makes no sense how the management talks to customers on the phone and it's sad how they handle issues that can be resolved it's called accountability and great customer service I ordered from yelp from them and I didn't receive my order but they took my money yesterday and I called just to see if someone picked up my order the manager said yes but she said other things that where not needed to say and getting smart with me she's terrible I've had other unpleasant experiences with her as well over the phone about my order

Very rude customer service. Took 30 minutes to get a milkshake that was ordered with our meal. Would not give a water to drink with our food while we waited on the milkshake. Cashier was extremely rude to us.

I went here after a meeting at work. I love me some chili cheese dogs with onions. I don't know what this was, but chili (nope) cheese (maybe) dog (possible) . These were the worst chili dogs I've ever eaten. Greasey as hell fake chili and all wrapped up in Ewww. They will never get my business again. Lucky for me, I didn't get sick with all that grease. I should have gone to Race Trac across the street.

waited 26 minutes for a regular chili dog combo. finally get it after going back to the counter to ask about it. couldn't find my order that was already paid for. no apologies, no hurry up with this order, shake was half melted by the time I got my food. it was the smallest chili dog I have ever seen.

The food wasn't up to par. Service wasn't up to par. The restaurant ambiance wasn't up to par. It was a fail. They workers did try. The restaurant overall was a fail. It's not the Zesto's of old. The ice cream machine was broken.

Foot long Chili slaw dog is good. Onion ring are good comfort food. Yummy good yummy

I went through the drive through & ordered a fish sandwich fries & pineapple milkshake. The fish sandwich was a little dry (my fault bc I asked 4 less tartar sauce), the fries were scrumptious. The pineapple shake was tasty they need wider straws or smaller pineapple chunks. The service was good the young man @ the window was personable. There was street construction so it was difficult entering (I had to turn around to get in & get out)!

Great Turkey Burger!! Everything on our order was hot and delicious. First time visiting this fast food location. It takes lead from my love of DQ. Will visit again and add to my collections. The associate was so friendly. Thanks Our order was correct and she asked if we need any additional condiments

Food is normally good sometimes just ok but the service is crazy bad. They generally are understaffed. They are very very VERY SLOW. Some of the employees are pleasant but others are just rude (probably just tired and worn out, over worked and under paid)... so if you stop by, just know there will be a wait, they likely won't have everything on the menu, they may be mad at you, and the food could be subpar.

I ordered a hot dog combo. It cost me 13 dollars. Eight five cents to add coleslaw. Outrageous price. I see why they don't do the business they use to. Never go back.

Ok let's see there are two of these Zesto one by my house in forest park and one in little 5 points. I always said I wanted to try it bcuz it seems like a mom and pop shop which I love. But I can honestly say it'll be my last time going. I ordered the #5 bacon cheeseburger combo= $8.52 The fries needed more salt and the burger was ok nothing special. The meat was seasoned well. Overall the experience was there so I would say still go.

Ordered the Saturday Chubby Decker special. Drive thru intercom was non functional so ordered was placed at window which backed up the line. Service was great and food was delicious.

Being from the midwest, I thought I finally found a good grease spot in the south Atlanta metro. I DID NOT! The gyro was probably the worst I've ever had in my life. The meat was rubbery tasted real fake. I took two bites and had to toss it. The fries were decent.

The location is dated but the people are friendly and they always got the music jammin with good classic hits. The ice cream is on point. Love the strawberry shakes. I get the fish sandwich and sides is always bustin'. I love Zesto!

I came around 1107 should be no reason my bun wasn't steam or some kind hot and that bacon almost broke a tooth smh buddy at the window 7 out of 10 customer service the food 5 speed 8 I'll be back

Definitely not a fast food restaurant I have two cars in front of me and I've been sitting here for 15 minutes. Customer service of the lady working the window was amazing though

Your general manager a tall brown skin lady is very rude. She said something to me as I was waiting to place my order. I didn't hear her so I said are you ready to take my order. She got ghetto as hell after that. She said I asked you what you wanted. I said I didn't hear you. Instead of saying ok she went on and on. Wouldn't stop being ruder to me all in front of other customers. You need to get her out of there because she bad for business.

Ordered 4 pieces Broasted chicken dinner and blueberry shake. Wonderful chicken nice and crispy shake delicious.

I pulled up to the drive thru at 9:15 pm and ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner. The dude responded "it's 9:30 and we ain't doing no more chicken"..... So I ordered a seafood platter and my food was burnt beyond belief. And don't take my picture down either. People need to know! After that expedienceI have only 2 words..... NEVER AGAIN! There's a Waffle House close by. It won't let me proceed without giving you a star rating. 1 star is too much.

Usually I love coming to zesto but lately trying to get food has been terrible. I get the wrong food after I have paid the up charge for what I wanted. I ordered cheese grits this morning was charged for cheese and never received it. Everything was greasy and lacked any flavor. It's depends on who is working that day if the service is going to be good or not. More then likely if you go on the weekend your food will be wrong. I would have to talk to the owner. I'm tired of wasting my money trying to give chances to this location

Oh my goodness! I think I found a new favorite for ice cream! Stopped by this location traveling south of the A and got a butterscotch top cone; a delicious ice cream cone dipped in a hard shell of butterscotch. Also had a burger and fries here, which were also good; but the ice cream sold me on this place. The staff was supper friendly here and efficient at getting our order and our food out to us.

I pulled up today, to my family and I to zesto. We have been here before and the last time before this was cool. Tonight was rude and the order was incorrect. I asked for grill onions they ain't got that, I asked for ranch they ain't got that. It was just a bad experience to drive all the way home and your missing your burger.

Used to be a great place, I've been going to this location for over 50 years/Since I could remember. It's hard to write this negative review, but their service, speed and cleanliness has hit rock bottom. Their drive thru is not open most of the time and they limit you to $25 per car per order when it is open.. Went by today and drive thru was closed and the line inside was horrible.. Not that I had covid, but I had a cough and didn't want to stay.. Sad.. And the prices have gone crazy..

After remembering how Zesto foot long slaw dog tasted so great and being in the area of Zesto in forest Park Ga. Seeing the sign under new management I decided to stop and have lunch and order me a foot long slaw dog. Drive thru was closed do I had to go in. There were a line but it didn't take long before I was able to place my order. But the order took over an hour for my foot long slaw dog and my large strawberry milk shake. I was truly in shock after I received my order cold hot dog including bunn. I did expect better after paying more that $11.00 for my Order. I was very disappointed and will probably never stop again. I'm a person who don't mind paying for my food even though the price is out ranges but I think the food should match the price.

The drive through is super slow and I don't think that I have ever finished any of the food that I ordered here. The ice cream on the other hand is first rate and the people who work there are nice as can be.

The food is good but the staff need to work on their customer service skills. The decor is a bit dated but again the food is good which is the reason for my 4 Star review.

They are liars! They no longer have Turkey Sausage or Bacon.ERGH! So I started out angry! I ended up getting Grits (Asked for cheese but they didn't add it on), two scrambled eggs, 1 hash brown and some white toast (It was saturated with butter) for $4.12. The grits where the perfect consistency but had NO FLAVOR. It had butter on it but I had to add two packs of salt and one pack of black pepper. THIS IS A BIG DEAL because I do NOT like Iodized Salt. But the grits had absolutely NO TASTE TO THEM at all. The eggs were scrambled a little harder than I like and needed additional salt and pepper. The hash brown patty was good. It wasn't too greasy and it was the only thing that did not need seasoning. I don't like butter on my toast, so the white bread toast was a waste for me. I am not sure of what is going on today at this location. I have gotten breakfast from here for years and it's always been much better than today. I do usually use one packet of salt for the entire meal, so I think that maybe they have some new cooks. I hope lunch and dinner aren't as bad as this breakfast was today.

I've always wanted to try Zesto, but never found the right time to check it out. In town for the day and yep, one is located about 5 miles up the road from my hotel. Had my eyes set on a good turkey burger and a shake. Wait was longer than usual, but I was patient. Once I got back to the room and looked at my burger, I was a little worried. The cook put waaaaay too much mayo on it. It made the burger soggy and unenjoyable. Sliding around every few moments. Awkward. Shake was alright. Nothing too spectacular. Prices are average.

70 years business Zesto's you should be ashamed of yourself to charge $4.99 for a fully dressed turkey burger with the exception of cheese so as I understood it was lettuce tomatoes pickles onions mustard and ketchup but because a person ask for the lettuce and tomato to be on the side you charge extra just to put those items on the side this sandwich has nothing but cheese it's over seasoned and the sauce is not really up to par but I'm just really surprised how in the world did you guys make 70 years and could do something like that to some charge 4.99 for a fully dressed Burger but if someone ask for something to be on instead of on the burger put on the side we get charged more for that and you charge $0.75 for a slice of cheese has to be really really really embarrassed. I really was starting to not even post this because I am too embarrassed to have spent almost $7 for a piece of meat a slice of cheese and a bun and some sauce on the side but I I wanted it to be clear that after you wait in line for something you don't expect to get anything like that so you guys really should seriously you should be embarrassed when are other places that are selling the impossible burger and other types of options for the same price but they're not trying to cut corners and overcharge people by charging for instead of items being on a burger put on the side that's ridiculous my question is are you proud of that is that how you continue to have as you think longevity are you really proud of what you provided for today against the receipt and what was received I just want to know burning question are you pleased with that are you proud of it??????,??

Old fashioned and fun! REAL ice cream! Kind of a novelty these days! Stop and try it for soft serve ice cream!

My family and I went to the Forest Park location for lunch. We spent over $60 in food. As the employees in the front had on gloves, i noticed the person making our food did not have on any. It bothered me as I thought to myself, how backwards is that for the person taking my order to have on gloves, but the person making my order doesn't have on any. So I mentioned my concern to a manager. The manager then walks to the cook and tell them what was said and who said it. So the cook yelled to the front of the restaurant "wtf she mean I don't have on gloves" while holding his hands in the air. I snapped due to the unprofessionalism of the cook and the manager. The cashier then escalated the situation with rude degrading remarks and it turned into almost a fight. The customer service here deserves ZERO stars, as it should have been handled differently on management's and the chef's behalf. We we're better off going to McDonald's. We will never go back and to everyone we know we will be sure that word of mouth is to never support this Zesto location.

Love this Zesto location in Forest Park. My husband and I enjoy coming on Burger Basket special day. The burger is very good, but I really love the crinkle fries! Restaurant is clean and staff are quite friendly. Will continue to visit whenever I wish to get my burger and fries on!

Chili dogs, corn dogs, chubby deckers and arctic swirls, mmmmmm! I guess you can compare Zesto's to a Dairy Queen, but if I had to choose, it would definitely be Zesto's. This particular Forest Park location, just south of I-285, has been around forever. In my moments of weakness I find myself in their drive-thru. I hope they move or open another location closer to the Tri-cities area, because Forest Park has gone way downhill in the past 10 years. The food is sinfully delicious and your hands will smell like chili dog for days! Awesome!

Took my 91 year old father,husband and daughter to forest park Zestos for lunch. How embarrassing. It was the worst place I've been in a long while. The tables were filthy, the floors looked like they haven't been mopped in months.the burgers were so soggy wet we couldn't eat them. I took mine back to the counter for a trade and the trade was as bad. I gave up on it and didn't eat. Dad wanted an ice cream so we went around to the drive thru. We ordered 4 dipped cones . When the lady brought the first one to us, it was dripping so bad that we couldn't eat it and told her to refund our money, she then tried to give us a cup to catch the drips. UGH! We were in our truck and it would've been everywhere. The ice cream wasn't frozen. I will never go to this Zestos ever again. I about lost my appetite when I first walked into the stinky,dirty place.

I recently stopped by here about 11 p.m. I had difficulty deciding what I wanted because all of the burgers was made with a thinly slice so ground beef patty that was similar to the less than 1/4 lb Patty at McDonald's. So I decided to order a 12 piece chicken wing combo which included a fry and drink that came up to $15 and change. After calculating that it would be $2 per wing I canceled my order. I review the menu and the prices and came to the conclusion that I could not afford to eat there.
