My husband and I had a last minute idea to send a Thank You arrangement to a dear family friend instead of just a handwritten note and we’re so glad that we chose Zeze! Originally, it was the location as they’re right around the corner of the delivery location but I’ve heard such good things about them and was excited to finally be able to use them. The recipient loved her flowers! They’re beautiful!

Just the best !!!My daughter sent me some flowers from Paris to New York for Mother’s Day…the smell is incredible, the flowers gorgeous, I was so emotional and didn’t tip the charming man who knocked on my door, by the time I thanked him he was gone. I will call the store Monday! Thank you Zeze 🌺

Google
Hands down, the best florist in Manhattan. Enchanting, magical and lyrical floral arrangements from the master himself.

Yelp
Zeze is an excentric, creative artist with his flowers. if you want the best arrangements youll find them here. the price is 100% worth it. I love his orchids, and the many arrangements that he makes. He is pricey, but again, he has impeccable taste.

Yelp
Absolutely daylight robbery. Purchased flowers last Friday at exorbitant $10 a stem. Buckets of old and dying flowers sitting in full view.. I specifically asked for the fresher ones at front. Bouquet cost $85 and all flowers were dead by Sunday (2 days later). Unfriendly service too. Don't bother.

Yelp
Best flower shop in NYC. Expensive but beautiful arrangements. That said, with florists, you often get what you pay for. They also give great advice and have a wide selection of options to choose from.

Yelp
After several years of ordering from this shop, I have been sorely disappointed with the current quality and service. My Valentines order this year, ordered seven days in advance, was not ready when promised and was not what I had specifically requested. After informing the staff that this was so, no one seemed to be too concerned. Obviously, I will not be ordering from this florist again.

Yelp
i consider ze ze flower shop my last minute flower shop when i am pressed for time or too lazy to travel more then a few blocks for flowers or plants . the location is on 1st ave between 51st and 52nd st mid upper east side . a nice setup of flowers and some plants with really eye catching colorful floral displays with roses violets , jasmin , tulips , and more . the prices are expensive but in this area folks don't have many cheaper options unless you go farther uptown or queens or the bronx. i got assorted bouquet of roses and orchids in a vase for 80 bucks (ouch) but it's christmas time and sometimes you gotta spend a bit. for me the best thing about this florist shop is the window display which is always grand especially during the holidays . overall it's your basic manhattan eastside florist shop with its pricey flowers .

Yelp
I received the most stunning bouquet from Zeze today. An extraordinary selection of luscious pinks in a tight arrangement. The flowers were different hues and 10 DIFFERENT flowers. Totally unique complete with a thick luxurious satin ribbon tied to a gift card. Elegant perfection.

Yelp
Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with this flower shop so far. I went there about 4 weeks ago to ask them to make my wedding centerpieces and bridal bouquet. They said I would have to schedule a day/time to go there, so I did and I had a meeting on the next week. I told the person who was in the meeting with me that I had a budget for the wedding flowers. He made several notes about what I wanted, the color pallet I chose and even asked me to contact the director of the wedding venue with some questions about the layout for the ceremony. So I sent an email to the director with him copied, the venue replied but the person from Zeze flowers never did. A week after that, I emailed him directly to ask if he got the information, he said yes and apologized saying he was too busy and that would work on my quote that weekend. I never got any other news from them. Maybe they thought my budget was too low, but if so, they should have told me they wouldn't be able to work with that budget, not make me wait, waste time and be disrespectful to me.

Yelp
Okay here's the absolute truth about flowers... Zeze's is the best. Are they expensive? Totally! But.... they're really (and I mean really) weally pretty. They last for a long time (or maybe I do a better job at cutting and watering the flowers when I pay so much)... ZeZe himself is literally your best friend the minute you walk in so make it an experience. Take the morning / afternoon ... grab a coffee at Ze Cafe and then saunter over the flower shop. Ah.. purrfect.

Yelp
I ordered flowers for a friend from Zeze. They were pretty and fresh, however, for $75 I would expect a larger arrangement. The flowers were in a juice glass- quite a SMALL bouquet!

Yelp
It doesn't get better than flowers from Zeze. I grew up on 52nd between 1st and the East River and remember back to when his flower shop was where his cafe now is. He used to have live baby animals (chicks and baby bunnies) in the window during Spring that he would bring back and forth from his country farm. Receiving a bouquet from Zeze is incredibly special-- his flowers are simply the best in all of NYC. Walk by his new storefront on First Avenue between 51st and 52nd and see for yourself... you will be charmed. Oh, and his flowers last for DAYS... and get prettier and prettier-- as in the peonies we received on Thursday and bigger and still gorgeous today and it's Sunday evening.

Yelp
POOR QUALITY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The flowers (a $250 arrangement of calla lillies) wilted and turned brown after a couple of days -- and I followed the watering directions from the florist. When I called the store to see if they could remedy the situation the manager said there was nothing he could do. Waste of money.

Yelp
Yesterday Zeze delivered the most BEAUTIFUL arrangement I've ever gotten. So thoughtfully done from the presentation, to the choice in flowers, to the card. Very classy place. The flowers were fresh an not fully opened so I'll get to enjoy them for at least a week! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I received flowers from Zeze from family overseas, at considerable expense to them! We weren't home and they redelivered the same day. The peonies were beautiful, if quite small. But I was so disappointed they were all deheaded and dead within 2 days, even following the watering instructions. I feel like flowers from somewhere like this should last longer and be fresher. I'd hate to think they use deliveries to unload old stock.
