This place is still relatively new, but definitely has already gained popularity. Reasonably priced build-your-own hot pot where they cook everything for you & it comes out pretty quickly. The spicy bone broth is super tasty & all the meat and veggies are good quality. Love how they have designed the place inside and service is great.

Clean environment and food. Smells and taste same with the one in China, very authentic. I really think it’s a perfect midnight snack for Bruins

the service, the atmosphere and the food itself was so good! i would come here again! the place had a good ambiance with great energy. i would recommend to whoever’s experiencing malatang for their first time. they’ve got great options noodle wise, condiment wise and broth wise. 10/10 recommendd!

This concept is extremely popular in China, so happy to experience it here. Vancouverites —- this is your LA version of Big Way Hotpot. Wish there was a scale in between so you know exactly how much you’re weighing but it’s a nice surprise LOL… delicious and worth it! Reviews are incentivized by free drink but it’s actually good, that’s why there are so many positive reviews. ⭐️

Low key, I love this place. It's a great alternative option to traditional Hotpot where you can go and select each individual ingredient, add it to your bowl and have them prepare it for you all at once. Each bowl is weighed and that's how the final price is calculated. If you like spicy but don't want soup, my recommendation is to go for the dry pot mix. it's the best!
