This place is still relatively new, but definitely has already gained popularity. Reasonably priced build-your-own hot pot where they cook everything for you & it comes out pretty quickly. The spicy bone broth is super tasty & all the meat and veggies are good quality. Love how they have designed the place inside and service is great.

This concept is extremely popular in China, so happy to experience it here. Vancouverites —- this is your LA version of Big Way Hotpot. Wish there was a scale in between so you know exactly how much you’re weighing but it’s a nice surprise LOL… delicious and worth it! Reviews are incentivized by free drink but it’s actually good, that’s why there are so many positive reviews. ⭐️

the service, the atmosphere and the food itself was so good! i would come here again! the place had a good ambiance with great energy. i would recommend to whoever’s experiencing malatang for their first time. they’ve got great options noodle wise, condiment wise and broth wise. 10/10 recommendd!

Plenty of variety of ingredients and the beef bone broth is delicious! Sauce station is plentiful to customize with. Just beware of how much food you think you can eat😅 stick around the area if youre on the waitlist because theyll give up your seat after 3 minutes and ask you to join the end of the queue

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order. After I paid, the restaurant secretly removed the frog legs and squid from my meal, leaving only cheap vegetables and vermicelli. This kind of deceptive practice is unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of honesty and respect for customers. I feel cheated and will not be ordering from here again. I hope others are aware of this before placing an order.

Tastes just like home! Super authentic broth, fresh ingredients, and that classic Zhang Liang flavor. Quick service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend!
