The MICHELIN Guide Singapore Bib Gourmand 2024 Selection

"Zhup Zhup, formerly One Prawn & Co, still sees constant queues forming beneath its red awning. The signature prawn noodles come in a set: a bowl of noodles, plus rich prawn soup in a claypot. Out of the four types of noodles, the classic option is a combination of yellow noodles with thin bee hoon. The tasty soup is loaded with flavours, imparted by the tomalley of countless prawn heads." - The MICHELIN Guide

One Prawn & Co

"The constant queue under the red awning is a sign that this shop serves good hae mee. The signature prawn noodles come in a set: a bowl of noodles alongside rich prawn soup in a claypot. There are four noodles to choose from, but the classic order is yellow noodles with thin bee hoon. The soup is loaded with flavours, especially from the tomalley of countless prawn heads. Also try their ngoh hiang – the crispy prawn cracker is too good to miss." - Michelin Inspector

Decided to drop by to try out their prawn noodles! As expected, it exceeded expectations! There was alot of depth in the flavours of the prawn soup! The hokkien mee had this slight “char” or “wok” taste as it was served in a claypot, really nice HAHAHAH We also added the har cheong gai and the ngoh hiang! It complements really well with noodles we ordered! Both were fried to perfection and for the ngoh hiang, there was alot of variety from fishcakes, tofu, ngoh hiang, youtiao and prawn cracker! pleaant experience, will drop by again!

This Michelin-recommended prawn noodle restaurant has an incredibly rich and flavorful broth — absolutely delicious. For the main dish, you can choose from yellow noodles, kway teow (flat rice noodles), thin rice vermicelli, or thick rice noodles. If you want to try more than one, there’s also an option to mix two types. I also recommend choosing the soup version for the main dish, as it’s less dry and tastes even better. Seating is outdoors, and we were lucky that the weather was nice and cool during our visit.

Ordered the Seafood Paofan, Har Cheong Gai, and Supreme Prawn Noodles, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The Seafood Paofan had a rich, flavorful broth that wasn't overly salty, and the prawns were very fresh. It came with a generous amount of seafood, and the rice soaked up the soup perfectly without turning mushy. The Har Cheong Gai (shrimp paste chicken) was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had just the right amount of shrimp paste flavor, not too overpowering. A great side dish to share. The Supreme Prawn Noodles were delicious. The soup was fragrant and full-bodied, and the prawns were fresh and plump, which really elevated the dish. Portion sizes were reasonable, and we felt the quality of food matched the price. Definitely good value for money. Do take note that prices are subject to service charge and GST, so factor that into your total bill.

We went for dinner and ordered the Claypot prawn noodle dry & Hokkien Mee along with the Har Cheong Gai & some ngoh hiang. The food was so good, both the noodles had such robust prawn flavours. Such a strong and unique taste that you can't get elsewhere. Would definitely visit again.

Menu not very self explanatory. So basically if u order a prawn noodles, whether soup or dry, you'll get a claypot of what you ordered, and the noodles in a separate bowl. I think the best deal is to order the big prawns set for 2. After meal, standby to drink loads of water. I was so thirsty the whole night.

One of the best prawn noodles I’ve had! The broth was rich, packed with umami, and came with a generous serving of pork ribs, prawns, prawn balls, and pork slices. The ngor hiang was a great complement to the main dish. The restaurant is well-ventilated, though being next to the main road means it can get a little dusty. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worthwhile. Highly recommended!

Google
hokkien mee noodles were... hard. tasted mediocre. eat at hawker center better 😁 har cheong gai had a very crispy batter, nice but expensive. prawn pao fan was... expensive. wanted to get the lobster pao fan which we found price had increased from the week before by 2x. prawn & pork rib yellow noodle soup was nice. broth is very prawn-y and seafood-y, but lighter on the palate. it's not comparable to the usual prawn noodles with dark, rich, savoury broth. personally, i prefer the traditional prawn noodle broth.

Had what i think is possibly the best prawn noods in sg. Ordered the signature supreme prawn noodles ($24 nett). Staff suggested i get the dry noodles at the side with the soup separated. Holee shit no regrets sia. The dry noodles actually taste like a dryer version of hokkien mee with loads of lard. Tastes pretty gd i can actually eat it on its own. The soup omg..is ganpua flavorful and it comes in a boiling hot claypot. Contains 3 med sized shrimps, 2 small lobster balls, couple of clams and 2 med sized pork ribs. It’s v pricey for prawn noods but i say they zhnged it really well. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Btw this place has Gst.. sell prawn noodles until can be million dollar turnover nb i still study so hard for what
