Everything from service to food was mosy enjoyable. Starting with the service which like for the Hotel is superb. So a big thank you Xin & team for serving us, for your advice & for the conversation, which made lunch all the more pleasurable.
As for the food I found all the dishes & sauces to be freshly prepared, masterly executed , well presented but more importantly tasty with full of flavours. Prices are all competitive including some great wines. I enjoyed seeing some superb Spanish reds as part of their wine lists.
The dinning tables and ambience are great. You feel special, nice and private but you also know your eating in the company of others.
Not to go into too much detail (see videos etc.) but we tried a very tasty Japanese pork with honey, a pure breed of black pig. This was followed ny a minced duck tartare lightly fried. The spinach tofu in wild mushroom sauce was also sublime paired well with the seafood fried rice. We also really enjoyed the wild flower jelly.
The restaurant has been going now for over 15 years so congratulations to all the kitchen & waiting team for maintaining such high standards & for making the cuisine accessible to a wider audience.
