The 17 Best Pizzas In London - London - The Infatuation

"Zia Lucia is probably Islington’s best-known pizzeria—for good reason. Your classic margherita is just over a tenner, and the rest just a bit more. The Holloway Road restaurant is rarely without a hungry customer outside, especially on match days when Arsenal fans are looking for their fix of charcoal dough topped with buffalo mozzarella. The choice of doughs (charcoal, wholemeal, gluten-free, or traditional) aren’t something you see every day and make a midweek Neapolitan pizza feel a little bit special." - rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna

We have been coming to Zia Lucia almost every weekend for a year now, and must say we are looking forward to another year. The pizza is easily the best we have ever had, at a very reasonable price that doesn’t hit the pocket too much. The staff are lovely too, and on today’s visit Iona has made us feel extremely special and valued. If it was up to us, we’d nominate her for The Employee of the Month. Our order was prioritised and made in no time, we barely had to wait for it ;)

Our waitress Tara was incredibly helpful and attentive. All the staff were super nice and friendly too, made a lovely atmosphere. The best pizza I have ever had. Tiramisu for pudding was also amazing.

Very tasty, filling pizzas. Try the Charcoal dough- a pleasant surprise and one that makes Zia stand out among the rest of the pizza places in London!

The pizzas were great. I got a take away tiramisu for dessert. It was yummy, but extremely small. £7.5 for a tiramisu in a small coffee cup. Sigh*

Delicious pizza with special charcoal dough that is recommended on any toppings. Another great addition of good pizza place for the neighbourhood.

Had a wonderful experience at Zia Lucia! Tara gave incredible service - really makes a difference to the experience. Gluten allergy catered for and food was really tasty. Would return again and recommend.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. This pizza is an absolute disaster. Dry, barely any toppings, and whatever is there just makes it worse. The jamón tastes like rotten dog meat, while its texture resembles cardboard. The cheese? Feels like the cheapest cheddar they could find, the kind that refuses to melt even in the microwave—just chopped into random chunks and thrown on top with zero effort. Every ingredient is separate, there’s no harmony, no unified taste—just a sad, random mess of things that should never have been put together. This is an insult to pizza. It’s been sitting in the fridge for days, and no one wants to touch it—not even the kids. A complete waste of money. Never again.

the food was quick to arrive and tasted amazing. would recommend the burrata pizza the most and not the tiramisu as it was a bit dry
