Stopped in here after trying out the new pizza by the slice place next door (you should go there too). I purchased a few different things to try out. The chocolate mousse was delicious and so smooth, it may be a little pricey but you do get a reusable glass bowl that makes a good salsa bowl 😉. The strawberry cobbler square was amazing as well, the filling was packed with big chunks of strawberries. The deviled egg was tangy and spiced nicely. The roast beef is so wonderful with big beefy flavor. Super friendly guy behind the counter too. I'll definitely be coming back.

Got a salad for lunch. Looks good but not sure how I’m gonna eat it without a plate of some kind & utensils. Bad choice of packaging for a lunch place that serves office workers.

Hit the spot! Delicious panini, hot melted provolone, Turkey, and red peppers on a crispy focaccia. Thank you. - Anthonyxibarrax

I go here all the time. Fair price for a sandwich of a reasonable portion. Good for a lunch that won't put you to sleep. Showing up at 11:30-11:45 can help you beat the lunch line. If you need a heartier sandwich try Buds Buffet. I love them both but you'll be at risk of needing a nap after a buds sandwich.

This review is long overdo, as I have been visiting this deli for the past four years. They are IMO the best deli in the greater Sacramento area. My favorite sandwich is the Viareggio, but all of their specialty sandwiches are amazing. Their salads are all very good, as well; my preference is the bean salad. And their dolma's are the best in town. One thing I really like is that they don't always have the same desserts, so there is something new and delicious to try on a regular basis. Today I got a mini lemon meringue pie, which did not disappoint. They also sell lots of imported Italian specialty groceries. Make sure to look in the refrigerated section, which has a good variety of yummy treats, too.

Friendly service, knowledgeable. Lots of food in the case to choose from. And some really interesting things I've never heard of. I will definitely be back. Haven't been to this spot in a few years. But now that I'm working downtown temporarily, I decided I'd venture past the usual 2-block radius. So glad I did. I enjoyed my pesto orchiette and package of flaky cookie/biscuits.

Nice deli. Excellent sides and desserts to go with their sandwiches. Their turkey is very tasty. That said I love the Roma, awesome if you like artichokes, and the Viareggio which has a pesto mayo spread, and the Lucca. Their potato salad is my favorite and their desserts are awesome too (don't forget to check the refrigerator to the left of the register). If you go right at noon, be prepared for a line. It may take up to 15-20 minutes to get your sandwich when the line wraps around inside. They take phone orders.

go early, avoid the lunch rush. all the sandwiches on the board are good. the rare roast beef isn't gray like togos. the two meatball "sub" is lovely, messy, and cheesy! the salad selections taste deli fresh. and there are lots of extra imported goodies on-hand to gift!!!
