After hearing it was voted #1 pizza I had to make the trip from Norwood to Ziggy 's in Oak Square Brighton. It was definitely the best pizza I have had in a long time and the steak n cheese is fantastic as well. Even stood up to be reheated. The staff is very friendly and provided great service. Hope to see you all soon!

First time trying this place ! And let me just say it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This is a family owned business and it truly gave a family vibe . The staff were friendly and very attentive ! I got myself a chicken finger sub which was amazing ! And the pizza is phenomenal I brought it with me to work for me and my nurses and everyone ranted and raved about it! I will definitely be coming back and keeping this as a hometown favorite. ****Did I mention according to Boston. Com it has been named one of the best pizza places in Boston :)

We have only had the pizza here and it is our favorite place for pizzas. It's more of a New York style pizza. Unlike many other places, even though the pizza dough is thin, the pie is cooked through with a nice crust on the bottom. The slice does not go limp when you hold up the individual slice. The tomato sauce has a good flavor with decent amount of topping. Service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend.

Tried this place after seeing it win a few local best pizza in some articles. It’s very good. Is it the best in the area? Everyone’s opinions different I’d give it an 8/10

Me and my friends drive up here all the way from the South Shore. I probably live 1.5 hours from here. It's that good. Steak and cheese sandwich is simple but its elite. Guys are great. Fun place to kill some time.

WOW!!!! From a NY Pizza snob... Ziggy's pizza is one of the best around. The crust /the sauce/the cheese - Perfection. I would not change any variable! Visiting Boston I was lucky Ziggy's was within walking distance. Enjoyed it for most of my meals while there. At home, I own an indoor and outdoor pizza oven as I am normally disappointed with most pizza out. Harry, the son, impeccable in his customer relations ( I got a nice Ziggy's shirt!!!) . Wish I had a family owned place like this around the corner. If Ziggy's sells gift cards, I will gift them to my daughter Cassandra who relocated blocks away from Ziggy's. My next trip, will return for MOST meals. Thank you guys!!

This is my local pizza joint. I live up the street. I want to love this place, and I do, sometimes. I have had the best and worst pizza I've ever had here. My first time buying a pizza at Ziggy's, I brought it home, and it was so burnt, we couldn't eat it. Undeterred, we tried again & this time it was amazing! The best!! Unfortunately, the time after that, it was overcooked. Some of it was edible, most wasn't. The inconsistency is crazy! I do not get it?! I know how amazing this place can be! Case in point: their steak & cheese subs are fantastic! Juicy & cheezy & yummy. Out of the many that we've got, only one was dry and not so good. However, I'm not giving up on Ziggy's! I know how amazing their food can be, so even though it's a roll of the dice, I will try again and hope for the best of Boston!

I am sooo thankful we found Ziggy's! We love the pizza and love the roast beef subs. After randomly buying from one of the delivery apps - we were like - awesome food. Then we realized it was down the street and much more cost effective to go there and pick it up! Always fresh and always yummy

Good spot for a quick slice. I sat down on one of the tables for a quick slice and it felt like your typical slice 'n go type pizzeria. It was a chill vibe and I enjoyed a quiet moment in my day. I generally like the thin crusts and it wasn't too chewy with the right amount of bite/crunch. A lot of other places I know, I'm fighting the crust just to get a bite. The flavors weren't too overwhelming either and especially the buffalo chicken had the right amount of kick and cheese. There's plenty of parking on the streets but it can get busy depending on the time of day.

Bold to say "something for everyone" on the home page of your website when you have not a single vegan option.

The pizza was good. I ordered two slices and they reheated it back up. Crunchy on the bottom, light sauce, light cheese with plenty of meat. They do not have any slice combo. Each slice was about $3.99 each. Good place to grab a quick bite if I'm around the area.

Pizzas are almost good, not the best. Nice job on the thin crust! Enough amount of toppings. You won't feel over stuffed. Always took home. Never tried the inside area.

I frequent Ziggy's EASILY 2-3 times a week for a delicious and convenient slice of pizza (anything with buffalo is my favorite). Recently I've ventured to sandwiches and the tenders, equally as incredible. So glad Ziggy's is a staple in this Brighton Community!

Had a horrible experience with Ziggy's tonight. First time we 've ordered food from them and it took an hour and 20 minutes for it to arrive when I was told that the delivery window was 30 minutes. It arrived flat out cold. And the order was wrong. We had ordered a barbecue chicken pizza with no banana peppers and there were peppers all over it. Not going to try them again. Gave them a two because the pepperoni pizza was good.

I ordered a Caprese pizza for the 1st time and I very much was looking forward to the flavor of Basil and Tomatoes on the pizza. Upon opening the box, the size of the basil on the pizza was so thinly sliced I couldnt even tell if it was basil, with the tiniest pieces of tomato. They definelty were extravagant with the balsamic glaze. The pizza was good, but a bit of a disappointment as I was hoping to have a full taste of the fresh basil and juicy tomatoes - normally associated with Caprese.

The absolute crispiest lightest most crazy delicious bottom crust I have had in a good long while. Tomato sauce is nice and bright. CBR pizza had me doing convulsions (the good kind) in traffic. They actually have a really good pizza amazing chicken tenders. The Greek fries with the tzatziki sauce is so delicious as well as their sweet potato fries. The staff is very professional and very nice and the place actually looks really cute as well.

Ziggy's is an amazing pizza spot with innovative, super high quality pies. They also have excellent subs, salads, and mozzarella sticks. The other night we ordered a steak and cheese sub, mozz sticks, a greek salad, the Bacon Buffaroni pie and the Fredo pie. It was all delicious. Everything on the menu looks so good, I can't wait to try more!

I've never witnessed a place this stingy with vegetables. We ordered a large veggie lovers pizza. They must be anti veggie or something, or they renamed the pizza to veggie haters pizza and forgot to update their website. You take a look at the photo and tell me how many pieces of veggie is on this pizza. News flash, you can count it all on one hand. I paid 24 dollars for this, 8 dollars worth of veggies. If you want nice veggie filled pizza, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FAST!!!!!!!!

Excellent for the price. Roughly $15.50 for a 16" cheese, which is a decent price these days and a much better price than some nearby places that I won't mention. Good crust and not overly cheesy. The flavor and texture are very good at that price point. I would prefer it slightly more cooked, but I can take care of that at home in my oven. I have not tried anything besides the pizza. I will definitely go back for more.

Had a hankering for a sandwich and saw Ziggy's had a fairly large selection of choices. There were the standard pizza/sub shop staples, a section for burgers (served with fries), a section for hand-breaded chicken cutlets and a section for their specialty subs. When I went in search of pictures to see what these specialty subs and hand-breaded cutlets looked like, I could not find any. Pizza, yes, tons and tons of pictures of the pizzas... So, we ordered a large Athena specialty sub on a lightly toasted braided roll with banana pepper added on ($13) and a large untoasted chicken cutlet sub with feta, roasted red pepper, lettuce, onion and tzatziki ($13.30). Both were well made and tasty, and gigantic, easily enough for more than one meal. I might ask them to not cut the large sub next time so I can cut it into thirds. The Athena had plentiful chunks of nicely seasoned grilled chicken and well portioned amounts of mixed greens, cuke, feta, tomato, and whole-pitted kalamata olive (held the onions on this one). The greek dressing was applied just right, no drippy mess when biting but enough to add flavor. The large chicken cutlet sub was full of fried breaded chicken breast that had been pounded flat prior to cooking. When the chicken is thin like this I often find it gets over-cooked and can be hard to bite/chew, but that was not the case here. I was impressed with the toppings, there were ample roasted red pepper and feta and just the right amount of lettuce and onion. I would have liked more tzatziki but I am a tzatziki pig and can never get enough. When you look at the photos, you can see the sub is slightly larger than the braided roll. Both were a good deal meal, reasonable priced for what you get and tasty. Will be headed back for future sandwich cravings...

Me and my co worker just started coming here after being in the area for a while and man we were shocked. The pizza is incredible and the manager is very generous he let me try a slice to see if I liked it, just came back for the subs and it was 10/10 100% recommend the steak and cheese.

Amazing!! I am so glad I found this little shop. I've been on the search for YEARS in Boston for anything resembling NY pizza and haven't found it until now. It might not be as good as NY but pretty damn close! I ordered a cheese slice and the bread/sauce/cheese ratio was great. The dough was also crispy on the bottom and held the cheese and sauce well when folded/lifted up. Such a pet peeve when the cheese/sauce slides off the pizza... My new go to spot for pizza!

I love ziggys!! Super flavorful options and the pizza is fresh. First time getting chicken and it was amazing too (side of blue cheese)

I am (was?) not a sandwich or wrap loving person. But holy beans, Ziggy's has shown me the light. Once upon a time, DoorDash messed up an order and gave our Thai food order to some unwitting soul, and us some mysterious looking wraps from Ziggy's. At first, there was disappointment--I mean, come on, the crab rangoons, mOtHeR--but then we realized we struck gold! All of their wraps and subs are a goddamn delight. Between the veggie Saybrook to the Little Harry, each one of them hits the spot whether you're a little hungry or a lot of hungry. Staff is pretty solid too.

This is definitely the best pizza in Brighton. There are so many options, and we've tried a lot of them, but we always come back to Ziggy's. My favorite of their speciality pizzas is the BRB, which has balsamic and ricotta, and is so delicious. The chicken parm pizza is also awesome- it tastes just like chicken parm. I highly recommend checking out Ziggy's for pizza if you haven't been.

You know when you watch them add fresh green basil leaves in front of your eyes to the slices it'll be good. We just moved here. This is easily the best pizza slice we've had in the area so far and there's a lottt of places around.

Would have given it 5 stars - for the food - but took a star off because once again the driver did not text me on delivery as requested); don't know how long my order was sitting out in almost 100 degree heat!

Love this place. It's delish. I order pesto drizzle and ricotta. Only like 20 bucks for a large pie. I grate fresh Parmesan from Whole Foods on it and it's sooo fire. Workers are nice. Place is small but cute but I never eat there I always take it to go. They are fast (like 15-20 min for a pie). Call in, pick it up and it's always fresh and tastes great. Recommend

Had to check this place out after seeing it in barstool. 8.1/10 in my opinion. Met the owner (guy in video). Really nice guy, who cares a lot about his business. Kitchen and seating area was very clean. Really good tasting pizza. Would come back again.

First time in today after reading on a few neighborhood sites about this new place, and everyone saying how awesome it is was right!! Ordered a steak & cheese and it was delicious; forget the greasy steak & cheese subs that we have all come to deal with because there is nothing else around because THIS is what a sub is supposed to taste like!! Definitely going back soon, get in there and check it out for yourself (on Washington at the corner of Brackett, across the street from 7-11)

One of my fav pizza places it's literally so good. Staff is always nice, friendly, timely. The pizza always hits so hard it's unbelievable. For an great price too. Dave Portnoy's review doesn't do it justice. Definitely the best food you can get in Oak Square, possible best za in Brighton. Idk I haven't tried many since ziggys is so good.

This place was great the first time around. I loved the small and quiet area. The service here's great and the employees are really nice. And the NYC style pie they have is great. Ordered one large mushroom and one small vegetable. Mamma Mia, what a trip.

Did delivery and was super excited by reviews. No one called when it was arriving and after an 1 plus found on the porch. In the rain. Cold and wet pizza and apps not a good thing. Ever. Oh well

A good slice of cheese pizza is hard to come by in the Boston area and Ziggy's truly delivers! I'm so impressed with the quality of their pizza and they've quickly become my go-to spot for a slice. Zero flop, perfect ratio of cheese to sauce, and all for an amazing price. The staff is also really nice and are always attentive. Highly recommend two slices of cheese for a quick lunch!

Easily the best pizza around and you can't go wrong with any of their chicken cutlet subs. Service is always quick and Harry and the guys are always very personable! I would consider it a Brighton must have.

Absolutely love their food. I've order Thai sweet chili wings, which weee good. Small portion wings. Buffalo chicken fries the best !!! Slices of pizza is good with thin crust. Their wraps are really good. So many to choose from. Really good place to eat. Service is great as well. Very nice people working there

Great new take out spot in Oak Square. I like that there is a mix of typical American take-out food and Greek menu items. Tonight I ordered a cheeseburger and it was one of the best I've ever had from a take-out place.

Been here a few times now before deciding to write a review. My go to is the super nicky.. would not be disappointed. Whatever you get here will be good.. i've tried most of their menu items already and everything was delicious! Owner and staffs are super friendly and take pride in what they do. If they think a pizza is not to their standards they will make you a new one without any hesitance. MUST GO TO SPOT IF YOU ARE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Just moved to Boston, spent the last month trying every pizza place near Watertown. This has by far the best pizza so far, closest I've seen to NY style. Good cheese/sauce ratio,.crispy all over (even after the car ride home). Tastes just like my favorite spot back in California. 4.9/5, could use a tad more cheese, or a slight temperature increase, cheese had just started to break (get greasy).

I ordered a buffalo chicken with pepperoni last night. Everything about this pizza perfect. I'll be coming here again anytime I drive through Oak Square.

I've lived in Brighton a long time and seen a lot of pizza spots come and go, Ziggy's is the best place I've found in all my years in the area. The crust is perfect, the toppings are delicious and clearly fresh ingredients are a focus. I got the boneless wings as well and they were fantastic. You really can't wrong with anything on the menu!

Not too familiar with the Oak Square area and researched 4 other pizza places. I am a pizza snob. I do not like greek pizza but I am thrilled to have found Ziggy's! Very patient wait staff as I had never been there and was driving, not able to look at a menu, was advised on what to order. Order was ready in 20 min, easy pick up, great service but best of all FABULOUS pizza. Thank you for quelling my pizza craving.

Ate there for the first time yesterday, we had a mushroom and a veggie pizza, the taste was great, as advertised, and the service was outstanding. I called and ordered ahead so that we could eat it there, and they had everything ready.

I've walked by this spot in oak square all the time but hadn't tried it until today for some reason. I should have tried it sooner. I got two slices of pizza (the BRB and the chicken bacon ranch) and they were both amazing; crispy, thinner-style pizza with amazing topping combos. It was also pretty cheap for big slices. Also, the owner is super nice and struck up a conversation with me while I was waiting for the slices to come out of the oven. Definitely making this my new go-to spot.
