Tried chicken bowl, Ziki bites and fries. Taste -> yum Price -> lil expensive but worth for midnight and the portions quality-> good and rich 4 star -> Ziki you didn’t pack my order right. you made me touch tomatoes with my bare hands 🤮 order was Chicken bowl without tomatoes😏 Haha kidding.. no I’m not…. try not to ignore the stuff on order while preparing. Overall -> 4/5

Google
I got a lot of suggestions to try this place out, but the food was a little overwhelming. Too many things going on in one meal. Gigantic portions and I was bloated for days from the bowl I ate. I could see how this might be popular for a drunk person late at night in downtown, but it just wasn’t the quality I had hoped for. Boyfriend had an oversized burrito and said he would not eat there again.

Google
Brilliant little place. The Greek / Mexican fusion is quite unique and well done. I appreciated that the tzatziki is as strong and as thick as any you'd find in Greece (not the various watered down versions with lots of extra herbs). The "ziki" was also a great idea, a falafel like spanakopita (spinach and feta).

Google
Delicious Greek Mexican food! Def get the Ziki bites and pork bowl! The gyro burrito is also really good. Mo the chef was super friendly! Would def go back

Google
I had an AMAZING experience here today! First off, the staff are all super sweet!! 🥹 They were also very welcoming, attentive, & take pride in their food 👍 The pork zurrito is gigantic (I saved half of it for dinner later) & the sanakopita bites were really flavorful 😋 I didn't have enough room to eat the baklava, so I'm excited to have that for dessert tonight! As for the seating area, there are 2 large picnic tables that are well shaded & there's fun music playing too. If you're looking for a chill lunch spot with nice people & generous portions of flavorful food, this is the place for you!

Google
Was looking for a new place to find healthy options at in my neighborhood. Wow this place Ziki did not disappoint. I picked it up and food was very fresh, only had to wait 10 minutes for it to be ready. The staff is so kind and it was a great experience overall! Don’t overlook it as a late night only food spot.

Google
New fav food truck alert! I experienced love at first bite. My fav bites were the Ziki bites, zurrito, pork bowl and Greek fries. Be sure to get the berry Ziki tea too! It’s so refreshing! I give this food truck a 10/10, and the atmosphere is vibrant and super fun.

Google
Delicious Greek/Mexican fusion at a very affordable price! I got the Ziki bites, falafel bites and the pork tacos and they were all 10/10!! I definitely plan to go back again and try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
I'm sure by this time everyone has tried or at least seen a Ziki truck. This greek/mexican truck just popped out of nowhere and it was about damn time I tried it In my grain bowl I got yellow basmati rice, pork, fajita veggies, grilled cron, pico, cucumber salad, tzatziki, and tahini. Each of these components were bold and flavorful. The pork was a little too sweet for my liking - it was borderline dessert - but once everything was mixed together it cut the sweetness nicely. They were even nice enough to give Radar some water! Thanks Ziki! ‍

Yelp
My friends and I were in Austin for three nights and ate Ziki 3 times. We couldn't get enough. I had read about the place before the trip and it totally over performed. We couldn't get enough. So awesome they stay open until 3am. Appreciate being able to get a healthy meal late night. Feels like they got ahead of the seed oil free craze. Can't wait for Ziki to spread across America. We need you in Philly! The servers were so kind and worked very hard. Being outside and picnic style is genius. All the food we tried was outstanding. MVP is the pork quesadilla covered in crispy cheese. Congrats to the owners. First stop when we come back! Forget Terry Blacks, you need Ziki!

Yelp
What's better than Mexican and Greek food?! Ziki is fusion I can get behind! I love their fun takes on bowls and burritos. I've ordered the Chicken Zurrito twice and both times were SO good. So many great textures and pops of flavor that seem to complement each bite. Ziki has a pretty large menu with a lot of great options. If you're on the fence, they offer $5 off coupon on their website for your first order. Give them a try!

Yelp
Stopped here for a clean eat. You order from a kiosk. When it's sunny outside it is a little hard to see. At one point we needed help and the woman came from inside the truck to assist. I had a custom bowl. It was pretty tasty. Ingredients seem very fresh which is what I loved the most. The garlic sauce was a must so I got extra. Crunchy chick peas were so tasty. The yogurt was tangy and mixed well. Avocado was a must! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Before I start this review, let qualify it by saying that this stop was part of a food tour AND MEDITERRANEAN FOOD isn't one of my favs~ The sampling was of a deep fried falafel? filled with spinach ~ They looked beautiful.... golden brown with a sprinkling of parsley served with Tzatziki sauce. For me there must have been some cilantro included so their flavor was off putting for me, i did notice that quite a few people on the tour didn't finish theirs plus some were left over. ****Take this review for what it is, if you like this type of food I would try one of their trucks as there are many of them around town so clearly they DO HAVE A FOLLOWING

Yelp
I place my order at a kiosk. I pick up my order at a window. I bus my own table. I interact with zero humans. Why must I tip? Pay your employees a living wage. Not bad. Not great. Had the gyro bowl and fries. Generous portions - will definitely feed two. I thought everything in the bowl was a little bland. Hubby was enthralled by the crispy chickpeas, but otherwise couldn't tell you what was in the bowl. Fries were good, but why is ketchup extra when I'm paying $6 for fries? Seating area was clean but the standing water under the astroturf wasn't very pleasant (to walk on or smell) attracts fruit flies/gnats (and probably mosquitoes when it warms up). And why do you serve everything in compostable packaging but not have compost bins or recycling (for the glass and aluminum cans) available? Why tip? - 1 star Why is ketchup extra? - 1 star Standing water leads to bugs? - 1 star Why not compost/recycle? - 1 star I'll add a star because the food didn't suck.

Yelp
It's delicious if you need something light and relaxing. I got side salad, fries, and the drink. Please be aware, Austin serves large portions of creme usually, but I ate it all today, delicious!

Yelp
Many convenient locations. I love the build your own bowl - arugula base salad option. Figs are a delicious unique menu item for food trucks, and the crispy chickpeas are a must have! Very fast service.

Yelp
I had a craving and ZIKI definitely delivered!!! This cute little spot on South Congress is killing it with their bowls. Ordering is through your phone, so you get what's on the menu, although there were a lot of yummy add ins! I ordered the Gyro bowl, added pita bread, avocado and of course their hot chili sauce. If you ever feel like its missing something- try the hot sauce! Huge portion, I am full and have enough for another meal, which is great because my total came out to about $28. I'm not complaining on the price when I get two delicious meals out of it! ‍ Next time I definitely want to try their wraps, but the Gyro bowl really hit the spot today. Thank you ZIKI!

Yelp
I travel a lot, and for some reason whenever I get from from the airport late, or don't have food, or don't want to cook- a rice or salad bowl is my go to. I used to order CAVA a lot, but the consistency around who was making it and how good it was wildly varied, and after a few times my order was really messed up, I was on the hunt! Enter Ziki. I've now ordered Ziki about 4 times, and I have loved it everytime. They are open late, which is a plus. The bowls are HUGE- each time I haven't been able to finish it. They give a ton of rice, and are generous with the topping choices. They are also pretty generous with your proteins as well (as they should be with a $4.50 add on charge). They have a great selection of sauces too. My order has never been wrong, and honestly, it's really, really good. The reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that honestly, it's expensive. You have no included protein choices and it's FOUR FIFTY for a protein add on- and then a limited number of toppings (two for cold) and then the add ons just really, well, add up. I love the whipped feta, but it's $3 for a spoonful! When you're getting delivery you end up paying $20 for a bowl with basically a protein and maybe 1 or 2 added toppings beyond the two, whereas Cava with included proteins and unlimited toppings is going to clock in around $14. That's a pretty big difference. I also wish rice had a touch more flavor. It would be awesome if they at least gave tofu as an option for a cheaper protein. I get it costs are up- but they are for the consumer too and it's kept them from ordering from them more.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Ziki ever since I saw them on Instagram. I love their philosophy and approach to healthy food with lots of gluten free options. I have no pictures because we ate fast in the car with the cold weather and hunger. We ordered the spanakopita bites to start and they were delicious, just a burst of flavor and spinach deliciousness. Then we had the fries which were incredibly tasty. Then we messed up because the tablet did warn us that the portions were generous. But we had 1 chicken bowl and 2 gyro bowls. We could've done with just 2 because the portions were HUGE. That aside, the gyro was cooked well and I loved all the veggies, rice and crispy chickpeas. The chicken was marinated and cooked really well too. We even met some of management as their office is next store, and they were very friendly. Ziki is changing the approach to fast casual food and I love it. I forsee a lot of ziki lunches in my future.

Yelp
Even though I was not hungry, I knew I would be later tonight, and the smell of the Ziki deliciousness easily convinced me to put in an order. I have zero regrets. We got the Ziki bites and a gyro bowl, both gluten free, and both were absolutely delicious. Let me preface this by saying that I ordered my food at the wrong location by accident, but the person at the one on 3rd was so friendly and nice that I did not mind one bit that they couldn't switch my order. It was my fault after all! Both locations had a super friendly staff that were all genuinely friendly. The Ziki bites? I've never seen anything like them before, and whatever they put in them is gold. Absolute gold. Not heavy at all, perfectly crunchy and salty and filling without being too rich. So good. Next, the gyro meat. Most gyros aren't GF because of the meat they use (Kronos), so I'm used to not eating gyro meat. I had to get it since it was GF at Ziki, and it was hands down some of the best GF gyro meat I have ever had. The seasonings, the quality of meat, the freshness of the ingredients, everything was spot on delicious. While the meat sometimes teetered on being very salty, it was still great and worth getting for sure! I didn't feel heavy after eating their food. I wasn't bogged down by grease the rest of the day. I didn't have to wipe my hands because everything was so greasy. The gyro bowl was enough for lunch + a solid snack later that night. Easy to share between two people. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Yelp
$57 for two bowls and a BOGO falafel feels a bit steep but the portions are pretty generous. I'd prefer a smaller and less costly entrée for lunch, but I get why that isn't the case. Everything on the menu is engineered for the upsell. Ketchup is not free. A solo cup of sauce is a couple dollars. There is no combo plate, so you have to pay an extra $4.50 (on Uber Eats) to get a portion of chicken added. The salad bowl was $13 with no protein but the tomatoes weren't cored, and cut into massive chunks. Proportions of the veggies would be forgivable but the tomatoes weren't cored. I always understood ZIKI to be a Greek/Mexican-fusion joint but I'm not clear why there's falafel on the menu. It is neither of those things. The falafel was kind of bland and really hard on the outside, requiring the strength of a thousand soldiers to pierce. Lamb and chicken were dry and a little tough, but not too bad. Toasted chickpeas were interesting and made for a cool addition to the bowl. This ZIKI thing doesn't compare to Cava at all. Cava has all the same stuff and it's cheaper and better. I guess Cava might use some seed oils, but I could also get hit by a bus next week so I don't really care. The togo bag had this nice sticker on it that said "ZIKI loves you!" but they didn't core the tomatoes, so we know that's a lie.

Yelp
I placed a large order for a company event and received the best service through the whole process. The food was SOO good and even with the 30+ meals ordered everything was correct!! I will definitely be eating Ziki again!

Yelp
How's your a few months ago and I came back today due to a craving because I really enjoyed it the first time. If I owned a restaurant and I could not satisfy peoples hunger, I would get out of the food and hospitality business. This place amounts to nothing more than a money grab. Paid $17 and as you can tell from the picture there is a tablespoon of corn and a tablespoon of chickpeas on a heap of rice. But hey, they use natural ingredients and no see the oil.
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
I've seen the social media hype for this place and while it gets points for creativity and for being VGF friendly, it was underwhelming in my experience. The falafels and spanakopita by itself were good, but the bowls were a pass. The ingredients were not fresh, the combinations made little sense, and with so little sauce/dressing, flavors were lacking.

Yelp
Fast fresh delicious. Clean truck, big portion, quick service. The bowl is good. I've also had delivery from here which is very quick

Yelp
ZIKI is Austin's newest and most unique food truck I've been to in a while. Here you'll find a fusion of Greek and Mexican Cuisines to give you dishes such as: - Falafel Tacos: 3 tacos stuffed with falafel, beet hummus, cilantro cabbage slaw, pico, and tahini sauce ($12) - 4.25/5 - Gyro Zurrito: flour tortilla stuffed with gyro beef, yellow rice, tzatziki sauce, red pepper feta, fajita veggies, pico, and cilantro cabbage slaw. ($14) - 4.75/5 - Pork Bowl: chipotle honey pork, yellow rice, avocado jalapeño tzatziki sauce, garlic sauce, fajita veggies, cucumber salsa, cilantro cabbage slaw, feta, corn, jalapeños, and cilantro garlic sauce ($14) - 4.5/5 - ZIKI Bites: three crispy spanakopita (Greek for spinach pie) bites filled with feta, cheese, and spinach ($6) - 4.75/5 - Baklava: crispy filo pastry dessert filled with nuts, syrup, with flavors of cinnamon throughout ($6) - 4.75/5 You seriously can't go wrong with any of the dishes above. They're good-sized portions and the prices are great considering the high quality ingredients they use! Plus, the food is filling and each dish packs a punch of flavor and I don't have much criticism on what I ate. So whether you're craving tacos, a burrito, or a bowl - you won't go wrong either way. All in all, I left highly highly satisfied and give them a strong 4.75/5 for being absolutely amazing! I will DEFINITELY be back soon!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, but I can only muster 3 stars. 1. I love the concept. There are so few places that don't use nasty oils in their cooking, this is a breath of fresh air in a sea of poison pushing food trucks. 2. The food itself was above average - very good. I got a burger, fries, and split a baklava with my friend, no complaints. 3. I thought the impersonalized way of ordering and interacting with the people in the truck was a big negative. I wanted to pay with cash, and I wanted to ask questions. No and no. And there was a glare on the screen so I could barely see what to do. Pretty frustrating, and I just prefer the old school way of ordering anyway. 4. Prices were a bit higher than I expected. $13.50 for a quarter pound burger. $6.00 for fries. $3.50 for a Topo Chico? I may go back, but considering the prices, I'd prefer to have a sit down meal at Picnik where one can order from a human.

Yelp
Thank you, @zikikitchens for allowing me to collaborate with y'all!!! Definitely Five stars Delicious meals , tasty treats , great vibes!!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Yelp
I finally checked this place out today and thought it was great! You can either order on your phone or use the kiosk at the truck, but it can be a bit bright and hard to see. The food options are pretty straight forward and while expensive, the portions are substantial. It tastes very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the falafel bowl -- it was so delicious but very heavy on the rice and dips. My friend ordered the Greek salad burrito and loved it! I will definitely be back but will try something else. There is street parking and a few picnic tables around the truck.

Yelp
This place is a super yummy Greek + Mexican fusion food truck on South Congress! Everything I tried was DELISHHH and it truly made my taste buds dance What to order: Gyro Grain Bowl Falafel Bites ZIKI Bites (crispy feta + spinach balls) Fries A HUGE portion of Ziki's menu is Gluten-free and they avoid soy, peanut oil, palm oil, artificials, waste so you can truly feel good about what you eat Can't wait to go back
google avatar

Chilly P.

Yelp
ziki is good but it's too pricey for what it is. i've tried their burritos and quesadillas. although the portions are huge, i actually wish they would give less so i can appreciate the flavors more. the ziki bites is the best thing to get. falafel is good but it's always under seasoned. i like getting their garlic sauce but cava's taste better. it's a solid spot if you're in the area and craving mediterranean flavors.
google avatar

Kolina M.

Yelp
SO good every time. This is the place to go every time you can't decide because it will never disappoint & you won't feel gross after eating it like most trucks!
google avatar

Evan H.

Yelp
Holy cow is this place great! I do not normally love food trucks because most are over-priced, heavily fried, and have small portions. ZIKI is great in all 3 areas. The food was incredible and a very generous portion size. Plus it's cooked in natural fats and not unhealthy oils. GET THEIR QUESADILLA! (Called Quezzadilla or something) This with the gyro meat was the best thing I've eaten in a while. The rice bowls were good, nothing fancy just good. Also, the ZIKI bites are incredible! Will be back soon!!!
google avatar

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Ok! I have no idea where I been and why am I just now finding out about this place! Seriously one of my new FAVORITE spots! The food was AMAZING the location is pretty cool there's so many other food trucks in the same spot! The amount of food they serve you is well worth what you pay! I ended up getting the basil fajita chicken bowl and husband got the pork zurrito! And I also got the Iced berry green tea! Omg everything was soo good all I can say is JUST GO and get you some ZIKI! It's so worth it! I can't wait to go back!!!
google avatar

Emerald S.

Yelp
Good spot. I love that they are open late. I tried the burrito I think the first time and second time I ordered the Greek salad and ziki bites. I love that they have me a big sauce for the bites and an extra sauce for the Greek salad. The Greek salad is very yummy.
google avatar

Steven L.

Yelp
This is one of my new favorite late night go-tos. That doesn't mean it's only good for a late night snack, it's also good for regular meals, but I like that it's on DoorDash and open late. Both the burritos and quesadillas are great, you can choose what sauce Greek sauce you want with them, and they have falafel and ziki bites (crispy spanakopita bites) as vegetarian options. The fusion of Greek and Mexican works really well. Burritos and quesadillas are some of the best ways to eat food, but if you like the freshness of Greek food, this is the perfect spot for you!

Laura K.

Yelp
The feta fig beet salad was a favorite! I was willing to pay $22 for a lunch salad with all the things. The salad today didn't offer beets. Still $22 for arugula, feta, chicken & walnuts. Boring. Bring back the beets, beet humus and whipped feta!
google avatar

Grant T.

Yelp
So good! Really incredible food and they give you a lot of it!! Seriously good portions at good prices. The ziki bites are a must! Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Delicious food truck... we love their beet hummus and healthy bowl options!! Super convenient to order at the truck or schedule for pickup on Toast! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options!
google avatar

Candice R.

Yelp
This is a newly discovered food truck for me. I have been here about 3 times. I love the falafel bowl with a side of ziki bites! It all is so flavorful, the combination of what it has in it, is perfect! I was just there today and I ordered my food incorrectly but the team there corrected my order for me, complimentary! I will be a regular and so should you!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
I work super close and walked over one day. Ordered a gyro bowl and a frappe. I don't eat a lot at lunch so I was literally able to save it at work and eat it 3 days in a row for lunch! It was so much food and It was still good by day 3 lol. The frappe was too icy so I wouldn't get that again, but I'll be back to try something new soon
google avatar

Hussain L.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the Ziki concept, fusing two of my favorite cuisines, Mexican and Greek, and doing so in a healthy, allergen-free way. The falafel were perfectly cooked, crispy, and chewy! The avocado ziki sauce has Greek yogurt and a hint of avocado, you may want to try a different sauce instead, it was nothing special.
google avatar

Mickey R.

Yelp
We were hungry and tired and a bit over-Austined when we stopped at Ziki on the way back to our hotel. The Feta Fig Smashburger caught my eye immediately, with fries thank you, and yes, we would like some Ziki Bites. Ever feel like a burger saved your life and reaffirmed your faith in the universe? That's what Ziki did for me last night.
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
Ziki kitchens now has a food truck on South Congress! In true Ziki fashion, the bigger than your average food truck sports a beautiful bright pink color and serves up their phenomenal Greek cuisine with a hint of Mexican influences. If you have not ordered the ZIKI Bites, you are truly missing out! Equally impressive is the variety of flavorful bowls, fresh salads, Ziki Tacos and mezze. Oh and much of the menu is gluten free! What to order: Pork Bowl - Chipotle Honey Pork, Yellow Rice, Avocado Jalapeno ZIKI, Garlic Sauce, Fajitas, Cucumber Salsa, Cilantro Cabbage Slaw, Crumbled Feta, Grilled Corn, Crispy Jalapenos, Cilantro Garlic Sauce. Gluten-Free. Ziki Bites - Crispy Spanakopita bites filled with feta, secret cheeses, and spinach. Vegetarian and Gluten-Free. Greek Salad - Choice of Protein, Fresh Cucumber, Tomato, Feta Cheese, Onion, Kalamata Olives, Feta, Classic ZIKI, house lemon oil dressing.

Yelp
I like the no seed oil health position ziki takes. Forget about curbside pickup. You click the option for the curbside delivery when ordering and when you get there, call the number, Nobody answers. (Airport location) Not the biggest deal but no need for that option on the website either. As a bonus I'm sure there are some people scared of COVID to this day and just ride off pi$$ed nobody with a mask stuck the order thru their window when nobody answered and they had to walk to the counter to get it. More importantly I think there needs to be an ordering option for more protein and an ala cart option for just meat.. like lb of chicken or pork or whatever... hard to do carnivore diet without spending $50 and getting a bunch of carbs you're not going to eat. .

Donnie W.

Yelp
Great service, fresh food and easy access! Definitely be back! The entire environment great.

Nevin P.

Yelp
Great service and food! They were attentive even when it was super busy! The ambiance is dope as well.
google avatar

Glen E.

Yelp
So I was going for Thai but thought I'd try something new... and got the gyro burrito. $15 for a mediocre, mall food court gyro wrapped in a flour tortilla...geezus ...Austin deserves what it has become
google avatar

Makenzie O.

Yelp
Had an amazing gyro bowl from here today! I love the easy ordering on your phone or the touch screen. The Ingredients are fresh and portion was great. HOWEVER, they are docked one star for price. I got the bowl and added a $3 avocado (?!?) plus tzaziki sauce because I wasn't sure if it came with it and it ended up being $22!! I was on company dime so no skin off my nose. But a $23 bowl from a truck?!?!?? I don't know how sustainable those prices are for a lunch truck...
google avatar

Marie C.

Yelp
I came here super excited because I do not eat seed oils myself & love the idea of a restaurant that uses all grass fed butter & ghee. I got the Smashburger & Greek Fries. The Smashburger itself was actually quite delicious and the reason why I gave a 3 star review vs a 1 star review (although it was quite small for a $12 burger). The fries themselves were good, but I was SHOCKED that we had to pay for each dipping sauce. Ketchup was $0.50, garlic sauce $3.00... since I was paying for ketchup, I was expecting a nice homemade varietal. Nope. It is just 5 packets of Frenchie's ketchup... to me this is just ridiculous and a reason why I will think twice before returning. The $3 garlic sauce came in a tiny container & was definitely not enough for the order of fries. On the customer service side... you never speak with or interact with anyone. You have to order from your phone or from the computer on the truck itself. I ordered using the computer attached to the truck & waited at the tables right next to the Order Pickup window. I was waiting for my name to get called as the computer informed me it would. After 25 minutes, I went up to the counter & asked if my order was ready. It was ready and had been sitting there for about 10 minutes. :( Overall, very displeased with my experience and will sadly not be returning.

Dasha A.

Yelp
My food was overly salty. I didn't think it was anything special. Good option on the go but wouldn't go out of my way
google avatar

Braulio C.

Yelp
Fantastic Mediterranean bowls the best on Congress. Come here !!! I got the basil fajita chicken bowl

Josh B.

Yelp
I have a genuine fondness for this place and believe they largely live up to their claims. However, I've noticed on occasions they use regular whole milk from HEB instead of the advertised organic, grass-fed variety, which suggests some aspects might be a bit exaggerated. Despite this, both the service and food consistently impress me. My usual order includes the fries and beef, to which I must admit, I'm quite addicted. A reliable choice for a satisfying meal imo. 4 starts only until I find out if it's gimmicky or not and until they open in Leander or Liberty hill .
google avatar

Yelp
The bast of the best Ziki my lovely place keep going chicken amazing the falafel and ice tea just wow

Connor S.

Yelp
Food is 10/10 and the workers are always very nice. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the downtown location messes up my order about 75% of the time. Idk if it's the workers being lazy and not paying attention to what the order says or just their interface system, but can usually expect my order to not be perfect. Regardless, I never regret eating food here. They also don't accept cash which is slightly annoying

Summer S.

Yelp
THESE PEOPLE GET IT! Can't wait to see y'all keep expanding If you're conscious and aware of the dangers of seed oils and also love a delicious, filling meal- Ziki is your place. Their portion sizes & prices are top notch
