Unfortunately I've had to remove a wonderful review written about 2 yrs ago - A very regular & satisfied customer since about 2014 - the experience was always amazing, staff gorgeous to match the clothes. For someone who did very little retail I truly only went in for the experience. Last year however I purchased a pair of boots, wore them once to an event & noticed the leather was peeling off at the tip - I did not remember where or why this would have happened & even though it could have why is the leather peeling? I have boots in my wardrobe 20yrs + & although scuffing occurs due to wear none of these boots have leather that peeled & given I take so much care for my wardrobe with protection & storage etc. I alerted the store immediately & only after follow up on my behalf did I go in for them to be sent away. Zimmermann did not take any responsibility full or part & this just made me sick. I have sat with it for a few months & have not worn them since & will not. Last week I wrote again to the store because honestly it is just not right. Prompt response but are only willing to apologize & nothing more. No responsibility or wanting to make the experience better for both parties - won't be stepping inside again, I believe people should stand by their ethos or don't have one, I may be the minority but you've lost this minor business from me. Extremely disappointed that a review has to be written for a possible change in behavior. But if that's how you want to play -
