First time customers already unwelcome as Hostess rolled her eyes as we entered the restaurant. Mumbled, "How many?" while looking in a different direction.
Our waiter was uninformed about the beers and veggie burgers contents, since the chalk board and menu were even less informative. He had to ask which beers were porters/stouts and told us which one the bartender suggested we order rather than which ones were what we asked for? Chef finally told him that the veggie burgers DID have onions, but it didn't matter that we were allergic because it has 22 other ingredients.
I ordered a chocolate malt which had zero malt powder in it, the seared ahi was gray and smelled BAD, the 2 dipping sauces for the warm, not hot sweet potato fries were runny & boring, the truffle fries had next to no truffle oil, the burger had questionable chewy hard balls of flesh. And if I didn't know better, they may have ground up someone they knew still wearing their tennis shoes by the texture and taste.
No manager came to discuss our dissatisfying experience. He hid in his office and our meek & misinformed employee who told us if we ordered medium well, it would come out medium because they do not press their burgers, yet it was medium well, no pink. We shared our dissatisfaction with our waiter to no avail.
Sad first impression and will not be back after blowing $75 +tip for 3 people.
