Came for date night on a Friday evening, and it was not too busy. Yet, it was a rainy day.
We were not really hungry, so we just ordered a soup and 2 appetizers.
The mushroom soup is hearty and good texture, so definitely not make out powder mix.
The toast skagen consisted of slices of toasted baguette with a big tiger boiled shrimp on a bed of creamy spread with dill. I would definitely recommend it.
Prawn wrapped in bacon was again big tiger shrimps perfectly cooked, but I wish a bigger slice of bacon.
The cocktails are reasonably priced, but I frankly couldn’t feel the kick even on the Long Island Iced Tea, which was a hit Healy on tequila.
The Djin was very refreshing and it reminded me of the Tom Collin.

Great western food (and choice), attentive staff, and cosy atmosphere. All 9 of us had various dishes, being all very yummy.
Pork is on the menu, and the red wine was good.

Made a mistake with booking my reservation time online and the staff were so patient and understanding when we ran late.
The food was absolutely amazing, my family loved every bit of it, wished we had more on the plate! Staff were friendly and service was great. Worth a visit and will definitely be returning again :)

This is one of the restaurants you must visit if you love having delicious comfort food served to you with a smile, because that's exactly what we got!
We made a booking via their website which proved to be a wise decision, because the restaurant filled up really quickly during dinner. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and promptly seated with menus. The manager even dropped by our table twice to check if everything was in order and that we were happy.
We ordered the pork risotto and creamy brandy pasta. The risotto had absorbed the porky goodness of the charsiew and was so flavoursome, while the pasta was so creamy and full of juicy prawns. The only thing was that the coffee had a slightly bitter aftertaste for me. Otherwise, we'd definitely revisit the next time we're back to try the other dishes.

I think Zinc is the best Western restaurant in Kuching. The taste of the food, the presentation of the food, and the attentiveness of the staff are also wonderful.

Visited this highly rated place quite some time ago. We expected a fantastic meal but left feeling very disappointed. The pork steak was served cold and the meat was tough and chewy. The burger was dry. And the beef tartare was under seasoned. The food was so bad we decided to skip dessert and went next door for cheap soft-serve ice-cream instead. This place is seriously overrated and very expensive.

A cool highly rated restaurant located on the far end of the building block. Service was excellent the moment we stepped in. Though there was a mishap with the printing and a delay in our food, which the lovely waitress informed us, the food was worth the wait. Prices are on the higher end but worth it for the quality.
Heres what we ordered:
ESCARGOT. Delicious and fresh. It was seasoned well with basil, olive oil and garlic. Easy to pull out and soft. Served with toasted baguettes, the combination was like melted savory butter.
SEAFOOD PAELLA. Rice was well cooked and seasoned, taste of tomatoes with a hint of bell peppers. Very flavourful with fresh seafood. Seafood on the paella were squid, prawns and clams. The only issue was the difficulty in peeling the prawns as they stick to their shells.
CHORIZO MUSHROOM PIZZA. The pizza was very tasty but pizza base was a bit too hard and oily. But the chorizo and mushroom really went well together.
RASA SAYANG COCKTAIL. The cocktail was very delightful. Light, sweet and perfectly balanced.
ICED CHOCOLATE. Not bad but chocolate is quite bitter. Tastes like baking dark chocolate was used. Not for everyone.
Overall, will love to come back again and try other dishes and cocktails!
