Went with my husband, son and daughter in law. We all had a great time! The actors were great and all the drinks were very good! The 5 actors did it all...acting, serving drinks, collecting glasses....everything!! We tipped graciously and I hope others did as well...we had so much fun! I would definitely do this again!!

The Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms was excellent. The team had prepared their performances well, the cocktails were delightful and the staging was awesome.

My wife and I got married here 2 years ago, and we still talk about how our wedding was the best day of our lives. Every detail was exactly what we envisioned. And the day was seamless and flawless. The food was phenomenal. Everything was just, perfect. It truly was perfect. We love Cornman Farms. And especially if you are an LGBT+ couple, I would get married here for sure. We have never felt so welcomed or more like just a regular normal couple. I really cannot say enough amazing things about this place.

October 3rd, 2024 - the best day of our lives at Zingerman's Cornman Farms, which was genuinely beyond our dreams. There is truly magic in the air at ZCF, combining rustic charm with luxury and elegance in the most beautiful way. The historic farmhouse, red barn, and gorgeous landscaping, garden and grounds created a breathtaking setting that somehow felt both intimate and grand. The ambiance of the venue was my own fairytale come true. The venue led to the most beautiful photographs for us to cherish the rest of our lives! Our guests couldn't believe this little secret has been in Dexter, Michigan all along! The event production team at ZCF went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. They were professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. I had so much peace knowing I could reach them any day of the week for any questions that arose, and they always replied with such helpful information and never made me feel like I could ask too many questions! The level of care and thoughtfulness they brought to each step of the wedding planning process was incredible, and it felt like they were just as excited for us as we were. One of my biggest compliments to the team at ZCF was that I could truly turn my brain 'off' on our wedding day, knowing that the complexities behind the scene to make the magic happen were in their capable hands. Thank you to Tabitha and Rachel for sharing all of our happiness with us!! Our florist, photography, and DJ teams sourced through ZCF were incredible and professional in every sense of the word. It saved us so much time trusting that ZCF could book key vendors (the best of the best) on our behalf. Our friends and family told us for weeks after our wedding how delicious the food was; nobody had ever had a wedding meal of this caliber before. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard, ‘This was the most beautiful wedding we’ve ever attended!’ Cornman Farms isn’t just a wedding venue; it’s an experience that brings dreams to life. We couldn’t have imagined a more magical place to start our forever together. Thank you, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms, for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! -Sarah & Brent (10.3.2024)

Our wedding at Cornman Farms was an absolute dream come true. We knew we wanted something intimate and special, but also that required little planning on our part. That's exactly what we got! Everything from the flowers to the photographer was coordinated by the venue. They did it all beautifully. Event staff provided impeccable service, the venue was STUNNING, and the food was out-of-this-world. Chef Kieron and Tabitha were wonderful to work with, and we count ourselves lucky for being able to spend our special day with them.

Awesome performance and delicious drinks! This was my second time attending an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy (the first time was in Salem Mass last year) It's a really fun experience and the setting of this one at Zingerman's Cornman Farms was lovely. Would totally go a third time!

Beautiful well maintained event facility. There is the barn for medium sized events and a tent for larger events. This is the last year, pre November for the tent. The farmhouse can accommodate 14 people for dinners with friends. They host many events and have pop up kitchens where you can purchase your meal by pre order and then enjoy the farm grounds to find a place to picnic.

Yelp
Happy ten year anniversary Cornman Farms!! What a fabulous space with wonderful food programming and a fantastically caring team. We had our "elopement" package wedding here and it was such a smooth and easy experience from start to finish, with an online portal to log communications and action items. The CMF team kept us organized with to do lists, and were quickly responsive to any questions. They were kind, courteous, and professional. Even though it is their day to day job, they really modeled the enthusiasm and care for our event as if it was just as special to them as it was to us! I love that the elopement package really included everything - florals, photography, dinner, cake, event coordinator, officiant, etc, so that we didn't have to really plan or figure out any outside vendors. The sit down dinner menu was curated with our input, featuring farm to table chef creations. Just an example of the level of customer service - my mother in law really loved the fennel fried broccoli we had with dinner. I messaged the team after our wedding on Instagram just noting that we loved it and wondering if they might share a hint on how it was prepared so we could attempt to recreate (and of course would have understood if they couldn't share any info)... they ended up emailing me the actual recipe and were glad we loved! Besides our wedding, we have also enjoyed visiting for their food pop ups! The fish and chips dinner is huge and tasty, and we have loved the pie and mash as well. They have a nice online shop where you can order food and beverage items to go as well as other merchandise. We also love that we can get a slice of our wedding cake (a classic Zingerman's flavor) from the bakehouse more or less whenever we want :). Overall, what makes this venue stand out the most is their people and their kindness in genuinely wanting people to have great experiences here. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The Pie & Mash Pop-Up Shop at Zingerman's Cornman Farms finished up tonight with another huge culinary winner. For the past five Wednesdays in March, Owner and Executive Chef Kieron Hales has prepared and sold out 200 savory British pie dinners for takeout. Tonight's spectacular offering was built around the Devon Pie which originated in Chef Kieron's hometown of Devon, England. This hearty pie was filled with a tasty combo of russet potatoes, leeks, smoked bacon, garlic and topped with cheddar cheese. It was complimented with hearty mashed potatoes and a delicious Carrot & Swede Purée made with carrots, rutabagas, thyme and local honey. What a wonderfully sweet and creamy side dish! As always, the takeaway box also contained a serving of the traditional bright green British Parsley Liquor Sauce to compliment the pie. My wife and I both agreed that the Devon Pie was our favorite among the three different pies that we enjoyed during the Pie & Mash Pop-Up. As our British dinner drew to a close, we were thrilled to find, tucked away in our takeout bag, two small squares of delicious English Sea Salt Caramel Fudge. What a great 5-star finish to Cornman Farms' Pie & Mash Pop-Up!

Yelp
My family has been to several different events at Cornman Farms and we are never disappointed! Most recently, we had dinner at their Fish & Chips Pop-Up Shop. As people who love to go out, but aren't really comfortable with the idea of dining at a restaurant yet, Cornman Farms provided the perfect opportunity for us. This event is very popular, so it's necessary to pre-order your dinners for a specific block of time. After arriving at the Farmhouse, you call or text to let the staff know you've arrived. They call or text you back when they have set your well-labeled bag on the nearby picnic table. After picking it up, you simply find a pretty place on their property to park and tuck into dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and they provided everything you could've needed (ketchup, malt vinegar, tartar sauce, curry sauce, plastic cutlery, napkins and wet-naps.) You could also take your food home, but we enjoyed it piping hot with the beautiful views all around the property. This event is scheduled for every Wednesday through August and there is no doubt we will be going back!

Yelp
Pro's: Everything Con's: The stairs Go back: Yes What a fabulous site for a winter wedding reception...dreamy! Gorgeous rustic barn with fireplace, big leather couches, full bar and lovely dining room upstairs. The bride and groom had ordered the popcorn bar to be available upon our arrival. The bar consisted of a big bowl of popcorn served in tea cups with toppings you could add. One topping offered was olive oil. I had to try THAT! Oh my goodness...I will never eat popcorn any other way. Olive oil on popcorn is better than butter - yes...I said BETTER! (And pretty guiltless, too!) Dinner was 5 star - filet mignon over mashed potatoes. Have to give a big shout out to Mike and Jason - the bartenders. They were just terrific. We had one guest who was asking for very unusual cocktails - I guess you would almost say craft cocktails - and they obliged! They were kind and showed genuine hospitality to our group. They were a value-add...thanks guys! (See...I told you I would Yelp you ;) The one downfall of this venue is the staircase. I will add here that our servers were inconsistent with whether fetching cocktails/wine from the bar was part of their service. We did not want to take advantage so we got our own drinks. That means up and down the stairs. Last time down, I fell...heel caught in the hem of my long coat. (Aside: Another guest told me she had fallen on her butt coming down the stairs twice that night as well.) Ok, not anyone's fault and I wish that someone would have offered the elevator to be in service. It was clearly the type installed for those with disabilities but for people (like me) who have had issues with stairs (consider high heels, wet stairs from snow, etc.) I would have taken that elevator if I knew it was available to me. It looked "turned off". So, my fall caused the end of the festivities for me...spent the remainder of time with my foot elevated and iced. The staff was kind, caring and gracious about the event. Turned out, I re-fractured a bone in my foot from this fall. So mad at myself. Regardless, a phenomenal, dreamy wedding reception venue.

Yelp
So much yum! Loved the contactless pick up and order ahead option for this meal. It was so nice to bring a bottle of wine and sit on the farm and enjoy our food. Perfectly crisp and fresh, and very tasty sauces to dip. Bummer this is only for July and August! I'd definitely come back again in the fall :)

Yelp
We hosted our wedding at Cornman Farms and it was incredible. The staff there was phenomenal to work with and made our day and planning feel effortless. We did the "elopement" package in the farmhouse for 20 people, which was the cozy vibe we were going for. I highly recommend this venue!

Yelp
This is a very cool farm and restaurant that is only open on special occasions and by reservation. The delicious food choices were prepared especially for us in an country house setting with many family style tables. The food was served in large portions and cooked to order. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We were there for brunch, and since its been so long since I went. I can't even remember what I had. I do remember that the arm, cozy environment was perfect for meeting with friends and taking time to chit chat over brunch.

Yelp
Way overpriced and not the best customer service. I wasn't even greeted (or spoken to at all even when they were standing near to me) by the two people towards the top end of management on my wedding day - extremely rude. However, the one redeeming part of how I was treated was the catering staff - they were all very friendly and kind (from Zingeman's Roadhouse - not the Cornman Farms staff). Be wary of hosting your event here unless you don't mind way overpaying and potentially being treated like you're not even there on your wedding day.

Yelp
Based on this event, how likely are you to recommend Zingerman's Cornman Farms to a friend or colleague? 10 What did you like best about your experience? I was completely blown away by how excellent this class was on every level. Kieron did a great job and was a very good teacher. The assembly of all ingredients and their coordination with the recipes and numbered, colored dots, was ingenious and with no mistakes. The camera work/production value was the biggest surprise. My husband's career was in film/video production and you guys nailed it with your camera work and switching. What a wonderful event during a pandemic - safe, fun and delicious. Just what we all need right now. I was surprised at how well my meal turned out, very successful (I've run out of adjectives!). What could we do differently next time to improve your experience? My experience was so perfect, I honestly can't think of another thing you could do to improve it. We drove back and forth from Mason to pick up our supplies, perhaps you should have just suggested ahead of time that we have a liquid libation ready at home to sip while cooking! Is there anything else you'd like to share? I should have informed all of you ahead of time about our set-up here. We've done lots of Zoom events, but our computer is in our den, while the kitchen is several rooms away. Since we drove back and forth from Mason, we didn't have 15 minutes ahead of time to test this set up, as you suggested. I forwarded the Zoom info to my husband's phone, but the link was protected and didn't transfer to his phone. I decided I'd watch the entire class in my den and start the cooking process after the event was over. When my husband called and told you what our problem was, you immediately sent him the link so we could Zoom the class on his phone. I lost about a half hour of instruction time, but your set-up worked for us. Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you sent the video because, initially, while watching in our den, I was able to catch all the little hints Kieron would mention as he cooked. Once I went in the kitchen, I lost the rest of this because I was cooking mainly from your printed recipes and lost his extra tips. I now can review the video and find all these extra nuggets of advice. Our pies came out of the oven about 25 minutes after class ended, and they were delicious! Yelp
Another great virtual cooking class with Chef Kiernon. Quality ingredients and a super amazing chef walked us through each step and handled our missteps with grace and creativity. The organization of this class and the ingredients was top notch! The best! Can't wait to do it again.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to be able to join a private tour here. The man who gave the tour was who I believe the director of the farm there. They do everything in the most sustainable way possible which was super interesting to learn about. I was blown away with the amount of knowledge and research they put into the farming. The quality of everything is insane. This is a beautiful place for a wedding and reception. The price is worth everything.
