Love the waterfront vibe at Zinqué! The food is tasty and fresh — especially the salads and steak frites. Service is friendly, but can be a bit slow when busy. Perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

Zinqué Newport Beach brings that signature French-LA charm right to the marina — same consistently good food, same great coffee, just with a side of ocean breeze. The setting is gorgeous, bright, and relaxed, with plenty of spots to linger and pretend you live on one of the nearby boats. Food quality is on point as always: tartines, salads, pastries — all fresh and reliably tasty. Service can be a little slow when it’s busy, but honestly, it’s Newport… the view makes waiting feel like part of the experience. Pro tip: Grab a table outside facing the water — it’s the best spot for people-watching and for making your Americano taste 20% fancier

Zinqué is truly one of those rare gems you keep coming back to and we do, all the time! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a casual bite in between, you can always find something delicious to eat here. Their menu is unique and full of authentic, carefully crafted dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. Whenever we have guests visiting from out of state, Zinqué is the first place we take them. It’s become our go-to “safe place” the food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the experience is always memorable. If you’re a seafood lover, you must try the branzino. I’ve had fish all over the U.S., and I can honestly say this is the best branzino I’ve ever had perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. The atmosphere is lovely, with a relaxed yet elegant vibe that makes it perfect for anything from a casual brunch to a special evening out. Just a heads up: make a reservation if you're planning to go on the weekend it's a popular spot and usually fully booked. Zinqué never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Zinqué for the first time in a while and ordered the moules frites — the meal was excellent, flavorful, and just as I remembered. However, one change I didn’t love was the shift in service style. In the past, guests were seated and had their orders taken by a server, but now you seat yourself and order through your phone. While efficient, I personally prefer the traditional dining experience, which felt more welcoming and elevated. Still, the food was great.

Zinqué – A Longtime Favorite with a Stunning View I’ve been coming to Zinqué since 2019,and it continues to hold a special place in my heart. The ambience is truly charming—elegant yet relaxed—with a beautiful view of the ferry that adds to the dining experience. Our server last night, Rene, was especially helpful and attentive, as he always is. The service has consistently been warm and welcoming, and Rene truly enhances the experience. One of Zinqué’s standout features is their impressive wine collection. We especially enjoy their Cabernet Sauvignon—it’s refreshing and pairs well with nearly everything on the menu. Now, let’s talk food. Their flatbreads are a must-try, especially the zucchini flatbread which is still available and absolutely delicious. I do miss the mushroom flatbread—it used to be a favorite, and I wish they would bring it back. Same with the fried cauliflower, which was another gem that’s no longer on the menu. For mains, the salmon is outstanding—perfectly cooked with a unique and flavorful pairing of eggplant that makes it truly one of a kind. While I wish some of their previous favorites were still around, the current menu still offers fantastic options, and the overall experience keeps me coming back. Zinqué remains one of my top go-to spots for a lovely evening out

Google
Nycole did what she could but when you're a wine bar and run out of basic wines such as Malbec, Pinot noir, saffron bites, speaks the management of this place. On a Monday afternoon after the holidays, the restaurant was not even remotely busy. Food also came out cold which means it sat there for a bit. Don't ever order the wings, absolutely saucy (not in a good way) mess. Happy hour was so poor we went to Nobu. Pathetic showing.

Google
The Soft Scramble Eggs (V) were delicious — creamy eggs with parmesan, herbs, and a fresh zing from lime and salsa verde, all on hearty toast. Loved the outdoor seating facing the marina — perfect spot for tasty food and relaxing views!

Google
Zinqué at Lido Marina Village offers a beautiful waterfront setting with a cozy, European-inspired vibe. The food was fresh and flavorful—especially the grilled salmon, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. While our server was kind, the food service was delayed due to a busy day. Still, the great ambiance and view made it a lovely dining experience. Perfect spot for a relaxed brunch or dinner by the marina.

Yelp
Food was great but they double tip me. I left a tip on table , but the waiter add a tip on my bill after I signed .

Yelp
Loved this for girl's night. This is located in the Lido Marina Village, right next to Nobu. We made reservations for an early Friday night dinner and was seated on time. For our party of 5, we were comfortably seated in one of the corner booths. Made it to HH for their $12 craft cocktails and 3 for $24 small bites. The fries (spicy mayo) and the petite pepperoni pizza bites were good, the spicy chicken wings was not good at all, so skip that. We added the crispy brussels sprouts and grilled broccolini, red pepper & feta duo dip with their homemade foccacia, and a meat & cheese charcuterie board ($6 upgrade to have both meat & cheese) - total girl dinner we truly enjoyed. We shared some mains short ribs with gratin (good), Wagyu burger & fries (okay), and the rigatoni bolognese (okay). We enjoyed the appetizers and small plates over the entrees. The only serve wine & beer so all their cocktails are wine based. Tons of mocktail options as well. We love their hot drinks, London Fog, Matcha Latte, & a nice pot of the Jasmine Mandarin tea. Our server, Alexis, was the best. Good food. Great ambiance. Cool spot to hang out with a nice view of the marina. Parking validation for your 1st hour.

Yelp
The salmon dish was delicious and plentiful. The rotisserie chicken was on the dry side, and the side of potato's was minimal. The flourless chocolate cake was very bland and disappointing tbh. I'm gluten free and was looking forward to a gf dessert. The vibe was amazing for a date night or girls night out. Love the design and mood lighting. I would return to try other menu items, including the breakfast gf pastry

Yelp
Half rotisserie chicken & fries I had the pleasure of eating at zinqué. After months of planning me and my friends made it out the group chat. The vibes in the restaurant were great. The view of the Lido Channel was great. The overall ambience was good. The half rotisserie chicken and fries was delicious. I am typically not a person that would get chicken eating out, but I am kind of in a diet. so it worked out good, but the chicken was tender was well seasoned. I could really taste the garlic and herbs that they put. And the skin my favorite part was nice and crispy. The french fries were so freaking good. They were nice and crispy with the right amount of salt. They also provided some mayo sriracha that was rlly good. Overall I would definitely come back again to try all their other foods

Yelp
First time at this restaurant for dinner. We have been here for breakfast and brunch in the past and enjoy the views. Came here for dinner and although it was 5, it was already dark but can see the yachts parked and some lights from balboa. We sat outside under a heater which was nice. I ordered their falafel salad. Other members of the party ordered salmon, burger and the rigatoni bolognese. My wife got the quinoa salad topped with salmon. My falafel salad was nothing to write home about. It was a bed of mixed greens with some cherry tomatoes and avocados and 4 tiny falafel patties (they weren't balls). For me the food was 3 stars but everyone else in the party liked their dish although the bolognese comes in a small bowl. Bread and butter is extra. Service was great. Their French server was very friendly and nice.

Yelp
Have had food from here several times and always has enjoyed the flavor of it all. The steak frites with chimmichurri and chicken Le Bowl are flavorful. Service for the most part is friendly and solid. The location is a great spot with view of the water. Parking from the structure can be validated here. For being a chain- it's a solid choice for an upscale place.

Yelp
Located right on the Water right next to Nobu. You'll find this lovely little French bistro The ambience is very casual but cool Definitely a place. You want have a nice brunch at. The Service was good. The food was better. We had the quiche Lorraine, which was absolutely wonderful.

Yelp
Drink- caramel oat latte was balanced and perfectly hot. I tried my friend's espresso martini which was fine. Food- did not disappoint. For apps I tried the burrata and the tuna tare tare. Both were good starters to share. For my main I ordered The steak frites (medium) and the peppercorn sauce (a buttery cream sauce recommended by our server) which was delicious. My friend's salmon came out great too. Compliments to the chef. Service- The hostess seemed accommodating... arrived Fri night right before our reservation. I was led to believe we are to wait about 20 min for the current party to finish up. Headed to the open seating at the bar and fireplace while waiting. The bartenders were warm and welcoming.. 1 hour later, no update... I'm going back to the hostess, asking what's going on? They've just seated a new party at that table that she said they were waiting to clear? There's no follow thru. It seems disorganized. I don't understand why the manager let us wait 2 hours past our reservation , before telling us they strictly cannot seat our tables beside each other. The food didn't take long to come out. But it did take a hot minute just to place an order. (I knew what I wanted to order days ahead lol) Parking- 4 hours later my parking spot cost $27 after 1 hour validation. Clean, well lit garage. The metal staircase may startle you with each step sounding like a loud bang lol. I saw some street parking but is only 30 min. Overall- if you're in the area and it doesn't look too busy you may receive better service. Otherwise read the reviews and adjust your expectations.

Yelp
Zinque is a cozy neighborhood hotspot that pulls inspiration from French culture and unique small plate concepts within a space where people can "linger and socialize". I absolutely love the wide array of brunch menu options, making Zinque the desired place to stay for a little while, overlooking the beautiful views. The dishes pictured were one of the best brunch items I've tasted, and each one was hearty, nutritious, and made to remember. The quinoa breakfast burrito was unique as I never envisioned how tasty this healthier alternative could have been. Shareable brunch made the experience fun!

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Price: $$ I have been wanting to go to this location and finally did it last week! From start to finish, the experience was mind blowing. The ambiance is amazing since you're at this waterfront patio with a nice view of Newport Beach. Our waitress (Kelly, i believe) was so sweet and attentive making sure our dining experience enjoyable. The price was not bad too considering you're dining in with a nice view. Perfect spot to bring your date! Now let's get into the food! We ordered a bunch of items including; Le Bowl, Tuna Tartare Tartine, Steak Frites, Grilled Salmon and Bucatini Pasta, all were exceptional. We finished the whole thing! My favorite were Steak Frites and Bucatini Pasta. I would highly recommend to try it both.

Yelp
We were there for the boat show, stopped in for lunch. Indoor and outdoor comfy seating with a view of the marina. Hostess was very kind and helpful with the menu. Our waiter wasn't helpful even though we told him it was our 1st time there, like a chip on his shoulder almost. We ordered 2 teas, didn't even think to look at the menu as we felt rushed. My tea was as bland as Lipton and our friend's was served hot; herbal, floral and delish but he wanted ice. Perhaps our error. My husband and friend ordered the burger, looked amazing with string fries. No frills on a brioche buttered bun, they enjoyed them. I had the pork bán mí sandwich, extraordinarily delicious. I would definitely order again. Jalapeños were in there somewhere but no kick, boo. Thr menu looked fab, we may come back.

Yelp
We had a lovely brunch today at Zinque in Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. It was my first time here and I truly enjoyed the delicious fresh food and the seating location with a view of the harbor. The waiter was personable and efficient. I love all things French and was excited to try this restaurant. We had the fried chicken sandwich and the quiche. Both were very tasty. The French fries are very good too! Definitely will come back here.
google avatar

Jess B.

Yelp
I had dinner here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The views of the harbor already add so much to the atmosphere. During dinner, we had a nice breeze throughout the meal. We had a pretty large party but our orders came out in a timely manner and nothing was incorrect. Our server was also really friendly and kept everyone's order organized. The food was good. I had the BUCATINI AUX MORILLES and added shrimp. It was good and shrimp was cooked well. I also had a spicy margarita which was really good. It had a hint of jalapeño mixed perfectly well into the drink. In general, I think the food is a bit overpriced but this is in Newport Beach and you're by the water. So, you're also paying for the experience and view.

Yelp
This place has a very cute vibe, with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed inside, which is great. We sat at the couches in the back by the fireplace, which was amazing. We ordered a tuna Tarini, which was very good and had a great flavor. It was the perfect size to share as an appetizer if you're in the area. We also rode our bikes, which was easy to get to and super fun. Our server was very nice and helpful with the menu. They also gave us some recommendations if you're in the area. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. I would definitely stop by again!

Yelp
Zinqué (pronounced zin-kay) is a French restaurant serving wine, beer, and cocktails. They have multiple locations across Southern California and Arizona. This location in Newport Beach is located at the Lido Marina Village next to the Newport Bay and near Nobu. They have some public street parking and a paid parking structure. We came here for happy hour (4pm-6pm Monday through Friday) which includes $12 craft cocktails, $12 glasses of wine, and 3 tapas for $22. The espresso martini was very coffee-forward and not as spirit-forward. The spicy margarita was not super spicy and on the sweeter side for a margarita. The moscow mule had a clean flavor and wasn't as ginger-y as other moscow mules I've had. They have both indoor and outdoor seating along with seating by the bar. The entrance is actually in the back near the bay. The drinks were good and the service was quick.

Yelp
Came here for a morning breakfast. Loved the ambiance as we were able to sit next to the waterfront in Lido. We ordered one of their breakfast burritos and their soft scramble. Loved the breakfast burrito, had clean ingredients and was very tasty with plentiful egg inside. The soft scramble was one of the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted. I was surprised by how delectable it was. Both of our dishes came with a side of a hot salsa. It paired great with my burrito.

Yelp
Zinqué Review Moules-Frites 9.76/10- this dish was truly incredible! While I like mussels but aren't crazy about them, these were amazing - made with shallots, white wine cream sauce, pastis, and parsley. The sauce was so buttery and rich, with this perfect balance of white wine and cream that reminded me so much of escargot sauce. The mussels themselves were super fresh and perfectly cooked. The French fries were exactly how I love them - super skinny and crispy on the outside while staying soft inside, and seasoned perfectly with herbs. The bread they served with it was also fantastic - so fresh and crusty, perfect for soaking up all that amazing sauce. Le Bowl 9.58/10- honestly such a spectacular salad! They make it with chicken, arugula, brown and forbidden rice, avocado, tomatoes, comté, and sriracha mayo. I'm actually not a fan of arugula at all but this salad completely changed my mind about it. The chicken was super tender and well seasoned, and the mix of brown and forbidden rice gave it such great texture. The comté added this amazing nutty flavor and the sriracha mayo brought everything together perfectly. French Toast 5.02/10- this was pretty disappointing. We wanted to try a breakfast dish since we came for brunch but this really fell short. It was super simple and bland - they apparently soak the berries in honey but even that couldn't save how flavorless the toast itself was. The texture wasn't great either and it needed way more flavor. Blueberry Banana Bread 7.56/10- I loved how generous they were with the blueberries and how well they worked with the banana flavor. The texture was perfect - super soft without being mushy or dry. You could really taste both the banana and blueberries in every bite. It was served lukewarm though and definitely would've been better heated up. Could've used some maple syrup to add some extra sweetness! Flourless Chocolate Cake 7.88/10- this cake was so rich and decadent with this intense chocolate flavor that just melts in your mouth. You definitely need the ice cream it comes with to balance out the richness. While it was good, I wish they served it warm as I think that would've made the chocolate even more amazing. Baklava Latte 8.12/10- I had to try this since I've never had a baklava latte before! They make it with espresso, pistachio milk, honey, orange blossom, and cardamom. The pistachio milk was such a perfect touch and really gave it that authentic baklava taste. I loved how you could really taste the cardamom and the subtle sweetness from the honey. The orange blossom added this amazing floral note that tied everything together. I've been wanting to try Zinqué for so long since I've only heard amazing things and love French food - it definitely didn't disappoint when it came to the food and ambiance! The service however wasn't great at all. We had to wait around 45 minutes just to be helped and place our order, and they even charged us for items we didn't order on our bill. I also ordered hot water with lemon (which they charge for) but it didn't even come out with my meal and we were there for over 2 hours. I had only received the hot water with lemon at the very end of the meal even after dessert was served and we were waiting for the bill. Instagram: @hungrytamale

Yelp
I came here for a weekday dinner and ordered 15 items on the menu to share with a table of four. I appreciate that there's a lot of vegetarian options so there's a nice variety. I tried several of the cocktails, and my favorite was definitely the spicy margarita. Some of the other cocktails were too sweet for my liking. Out of the appetizers, the quesadilla ratatouille was unique. My main course was steak frites and that was decent as well. By the end of the night several items we wanted to try were not available. The service does get pretty slow as the restaurant gets busier (for example it took close to 25 minutes for our bill to come after asking for the check). The parking can be difficult so I would suggest Uber if possible.

Kaia H.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed the Lido area for its great scenery and relaxed vibes, and Zinque definitely doesn't disappoint in that regard. The servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The food is good, though a bit on the pricey side for what it's worth. I tried the fried chicken sandwich--it was decent, but nothing mind-blowing. However, the skinny-cut crispy fries on the side were really good! But the real standout for me was the tuna tartare tartine--absolutely delicious and definitely worth ordering. Overall, a solid spot with a great vibe!

Tim C.

Yelp
The view is amazing and the food definitely matches. They have basically two menus; lunch and dinner. The pastries were very authentic French!! Amazing textures!!! The focaccia sandwiches were solid! The steak frites was mediocre. However, they are accompanied by multiples sauces. Their burger was very standard. They have a full bar. Lots of beers, wines and mixed drinks. Customer service was great. Our waiter checked in often even though it was busy.

Yelp
Today, I've returned to Zinqué for a 3rd time. Every time I'm with a different friend group, I recommend this spot because you really can't go wrong! I bet you can guess, I ordered the Green Lasagna again & it was just as life changing as always. All my friends were obsessed with my order as well. We tried a range of pastas, all so remarkable. Best thing about this spot is that it's not TOO fancy. You can come casual or you can come in dresses. There is a place for everyone to enjoy their night. Prices are also fairly inexpensive with regards to the quality you're getting.

Yelp
Nice place overlooking great scenery! Had a party of 7 for brunch and I'd say my biggest peeve was how long food took. Otherwise I suggest going for a table outside and enjoying the view! Had the prosciutto and Gruyère croissant. Very simple, can't go wrong. I think the salad needed more dressing.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
We were a party of 6 walk in on a Sunday.. enjoyed our dinner! I think the menu has changed recently because I didn't see pics of blistered green beans or Japanese sweet potato's yet so here ya go! GREEN BEANS WERE AMAZING!! Just note this is a beer and wine only restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Scarlett such amazing server, recommend a whole lot of good food, would recommend for anyone who want to try out something new!
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Service was great, we were seated right away and sat near the water. They had heaters outside so it wasn't too cold outside! If you park in the parking structure you can only validate up to 1hr and be charged a fee after that. Ordered hot water and when the bill came out I was charged for it. I think that's a bit absurd to be charged for tap water that is warm. Side note, the menu font is extremely small?? It was kind of comical how tiny it was, a bit hard to read. Le bowl 4/5 the salad bowl was good but it barely had any greens, it was basically a big layer of chicken/grains as the base and a sprinkle of greens on top. I would prefer an even ratio for the bowl Bucatini 5/5 great portions and big enough to share! I'm not sure what mushrooms they used in the pasta dish but i was presently surprised at how flavorful it was Rigatoni Bolognese 5/5 typical bolognese, portions are big. Can't go wrong with this!

Yelp
This restaurant is great for an intimate vibe. At night the interior is cozy and dim, with a water view of the bay! I went pretty late around 8:30. We sat right away and the waiter was very attentive the whole time. He even offered to help us take a group picture, very kind. I got the basic burger and fries. The burger itself was ok. The beef was on the drier side. The bun was soft with a tasty sauce. The burger was a much higher bread to meat ratio. The fries are skinny and crunchy, they were pretty addicting. The food profile is not very unique I would say, but not bad. We let the waiter know it was one of our friend's birthday, which he gave a complimentary scoop of ice cream! Overall very cute and nice place to share a meal.
google avatar

Aseel K.

Yelp
I love coming here for a late lunch! The view is pretty great and the food is just as good. I love that their portions are filling. The Le Bowl exceeded my expectations. I just wish there was more of a service, we came and sat outside as all of their customers were sitting out and had to ask twice for them to turn on the heaters and no one came.
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
Ambiance: this Restaurant is located directly at the port with an outlook to the waterfront. These are definitely some stunning views of Newport, and I would recommend sitting outside at the patio, since heaters are available too, so you won't be freezing much. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and I really liked the coffee cups. Service: this seems to be a self service restaurant(, I believe?). We were told to take our table number card inside to the bar and order and pay there right away. So we waited until our coffees were done and took them back to our table. I did see other tables being served to order, so I wasn't sure how the system really works. The service was pretty nice though, and they even asked us if we wanted the heater to be turned on, in case we were a bit chilly. Food: Grass-Fed Burger - The fries that came along with the burger were super crisp and pretty good. We enjoyed the sauces that came along with it. The burger was good too, but the cheese seemed to not really have been melted yet unfortunately. Overall a pretty decent burger though. Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich - This sandwich does not come with any sides, but I really enjoyed it. The bread was very crispy and the sauce complemented it very well. I did wish that the chicken was seasoned a bit more but that's okay. French Toast - This dish was pretty simple. I thought it tasted just okay, as you couldn't really taste any cinnamon or sugar on it, that it was a tad bland. The fruit was good but did not really taste that fresh. Overall this is a pretty decent restaurant and I would recommend checking it out, if you are in the Newport area! They are even open on Christmas Day.
google avatar

Yelp
Although the service was good, the food unfortunately on the day of was pretty lackluster. I ordered a half roasted chicken and it was one the driest piece of chicken I've ever had, and their potato side that came with it was just bad. I would come back to try other items only because of where it's located.

Yelp

Yelp
Good drinks, good food, good views, good service. I've been here a handful of times the last couple of months. It's difficult to beat the views and atmosphere here as well. The drinks and food have always been good. And the service is consistent. The happy hour is a good time to experience the place, especially if it's your first visit.

Yelp
The location is wonderful with the beautiful view of the Newport Lido Channel. The parking can be a little tricky, if you self park. Just know that if you valet, the restaurant won't validate for the parking. Valet cost is $15/hr and additional $3/hr thereafter. So let's talk about the food. The Tuna Tartines ($18) were fresh, fairly decent portion that can be a lunch in itself. It tasted fresh and seasoned well, and the toast is nicely balanced with the soft middle and a crusty crunch. The Moules Frites (mussles & fries, $22) were perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. The Grilled Whole Branzino ($42) served with a chimichurri sauce was... well I was disappointed. The fish was fresh and tasty, however the skin was heavily salted and was not edible at all, and I had to peel it off. For that price, I had a much higher expectation, and just felt it was a big disappointment. On top of that, the service wasn't that great. The waiter was not attentive, never once asked how we were doing, until we had finished the food. The wine and water glasses were empty and we had to flag down another waiter to get them refilled. So although some dishes were great, and great view and atmosphere, the one disappointed dish and sub-par service dragged this to a mid/average dining experience that was not that impressive overall... Will there be a second time? That's a maybe for me

Yelp
This place was great! Beautiful view, love the interior design, great staff, and amazing food. What more could you ask for? The short rib and Brussels sprouts were delicious!

Yelp
Food: 3/5 was very disappointing to have the steak be so flavorless without even a hint of salt! The green lasagna was good Service: 3/5 waitress was nice but very slow service and did not have water brought to our table for too long from when we sat down Atmosphere : 4/5 obviously nice location and vibe was cute Price: too expensive for the very small portions you get

Yelp
Okay, full confession: I really pushed my luck this year. Like, who calls the Saturday afternoon before to make a Mother's Day brunch reservation? Oh right, me. Certified terrible daughter But then--enter Rod, our brunch hero. Somehow, this amazing soul moved things around and got us a table for 12!! I don't know what kind of restaurant wizardry he pulled, but I knew I owed him this at least. Bonus points: most of the staff were fellow Latinos, which instantly made it feel like we were celebrating at home... except instead of our kitchen, it was this gorgeous waterfront French restaurant with better lighting and way more drink options. My mom was glowing, the food was amazing, the view was stunning, and we didn't have to do dishes. Honestly? 10/10. Would panic-book again. Thank you Rod, Gustavo, Hugo & the whole team for rescuing my Mother's Day and giving us a brunch we'll be talking about until next May See you all again soon (but hopefully with a little more notice next time!).

Yelp
With so many brunch spots around, we went with Zinqué, and it was such a good choice. They seated us super quickly at a table with a beautiful view of the port--such a vibe. So many good options for brunch, coffee, tea, and cocktails. We were kinda sad most of their fresh juices were sold out, but we got fresh orange juice at least. I had the healthy breakfast bowl, and everything was so fresh and delicious. Service was great too. Overall, loved it and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've been here at least 30 times since it opened, and just realized I've never left a review. The server today motivated my review... so here it is! Allen served us today, and he was fantastic. He was so patient with the little guy (2 year old) in our group, and made excellent recommendations. You can feel the kindness and authenticity radiating from him. No one wants a 9 top, and he was so gracious. Strangely, I think this is the best burger in OC. I love all the food here, it's fresh and delicious, but I always come back to the burger. Plus the happy hour is legit. The Tartines, Le Bowl, and Niçoise salad is also some of my favorites. Consistent, good service, and a great view.. Enjoy!

Yelp
Not sure if I would go there again. .. Sunday dinner , not sure if staff was tired or they just don't care. I felt like they were doing me a favor to dine there. Disappointed on the pizza we order for an appetizer. I do have to say the brussels sprouts were really good. This is a very nice location... It's located in Lido Island!! So yes I'm disappointed

Yelp
Funky is one thing, but sloppy is another. Used to come here regularly a few years ago, but only recently returned a few times this month. First time, on a very quiet rainy monday they forgot to fire out entree course. Forty minutes. Tonight, just ordered two burgers. Sloppiness in the kitchen results in mangled half inch thick raw onion slices. Inedible and amateurish but removable. Whatever. But MR requested, served charred well done unseasoned patties. Meh. Dry wagyu is an oxymoron. Both experiences Completely avoidable dissatisfaction.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance were all 5 stars. The servers were attentive and patient especially since there's a lot of things on the menu to choose from. We'll definitely bring friends and family to try this place

Yelp
For the location (lido marina village, right next to the famous nobu malibu and Malibu farm), the pricing of this place was veryyy reasonable and quantity and quality too very good. The jap sweet potato's were some of the best I've had. Short ribs were extremely tender and tasty. The baklava latte was the only disappointment since it tasted straight up like just a regular coffee latte, nothing baklava about it, could barely taste the pistachio milk or orange or honey flavor or any hint of any baklava taste.

Yelp
So disappointed! Fantastic location but very dissatisfying food! For lack of better wording! We went on a Monday night, and I do understand its hard to find good waiters and chef working on Monday. But if you offer and willing to give service, what we ate last night was not acceptable! We order avocado salad, burger, steak and bowl! All very bad quality ingredients and no good presentation either. It looked like it was a left over! Our server could not even focus on what we want! Sorry wont go there food! Maybe a drink!

Yelp
Overall, we had a nice experiencing sitting out on the patio at Zinque. Our service was friendly and we enjoyed looking out at the water from our seats. We started off with a cheese board which was a little bit disappointing compared to other cheese boards I have had. I felt like the cheeses could have been more flavorful and paired better. This was made up for by everything else. The bolognese and brussel sprouts were fantastic and perfectly flavored. I would certainly order those two items again. The drinks (white wine and aperol spritz) were also great. I would give the overall experience 4.5 stars.

Yelp
Gotta love Newport Beach. Celebrated my 12th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Reservations were easy to make online and we were seated right away upon arrival. Our table was right in the board walk with beautiful marina views. The breakfast items were ordered were okay but the lunch items were spectacular. The smoked salmon carpaccio and branzino was outstanding. We also ordered their caprese sandwiche to go and it was so fresh and delicious. My aperol spritz wasn't the best but their fresher squeezed oj was great. Would love to come back to try their dinner menu.

Yelp
You basically serve yourself. So easy! Scan the menu at your table. Order right there and then. They bring it all to your table and every dish is outstanding. The branzino is a must try; absolutely a 10/10.

Yelp
Scarlett was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The branzino was excellent! The best part was Scarlett made us feel welcomed. She completes Zinque! Will be back soon. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food is delicious and service is fast and efficient! We went last minute on a busy weekend night and they were more than eager to accommodate us with a table with a great view! Definitely going back!

Yelp
We had an appointment at a showroom nearby and decided to walk the area to grab lunch. Zinque was a point of interest and was delighted that there was an open table available on the deck for waterfront views. Sadly, the sun was starting to peek through the clouds and we were burning under the heat. We asked if we could change our seats to the patio, which was much more comfortable under the shade. I ordered the flat white and quinoa breakfast burrito while the husband chose to do the steak frites. His steak was cooked to a medium rare center with a nice sear and served with a peppercorn sauce. The flat white is filled to the brim in a glass cup, which was sooo hot to hold, but was amazing once my fingers no longer burned from the touch. The quinoa burrito was awesome - something I often think fondly of every time I see the picture. Added bacon to the wrap with eggs, quinoa, avocado, cherry tomato, cucumber, spinach, cilantro and gruyère. Overall, really nice place for lunch and we definitely preferred the breezy shade to the searing sun. Plus, the deck seating is in a high traffic area with constant people walking by and staring at your table. There is a rope to separate the dining space from the pedestrians, but it's too busy/noisy for my liking. However, I loved what I got and still think about returning for the burrito.
