"Seeking the best in-park lodging? Head to the historic Zion Lodge. Completed in 1925, this charming hotel and cabin complex was designed by famed national park architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood and is set amongst the sky-high canyon walls and serpentine river bends that have drawn people to the park for decades."

Loved this hotel. Ideal location in Springdale (just outside Zion National Park). Zion's parking is insufficient and this hotel is on the bus route. (no parking worries).||Rooms were clean and tended to daily. Bonus: They pack you a "to go" breakfast each day (free) (bagel w/ cream cheese, apple, blueberry muffin, yogurt). Plus free coffee and free juice for the kids.||A welcome change from Vegas (where we stayed before driving to Zion). Is this place "cheap"? No. But the service is great and I'd rather pay the higher price and get the great service instead of getting nickel and dimed over EVERYTHING in Vegas. ||Bonus - Springdale is a lovely little town. Check out Oscars for dinner.

The rooms were incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable. The balcony made for a great place to sit and have a drink or two after a day of walking in the canyons. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and informative and helpful. This is definitely a place I will stay again.

Had the best experience from check-in to check out. Such friendly and welcoming staff. They are a dog friendly lodge. Housekeeping would check on us daily to see if we needed anything. We stayed in the family suite on the first floor, which was very convenient for us as we also had our 2 pups with us. Everything you need from the shuttle stop, a supermarket, and souvenir shops to restaurants are all within walking distance. You also have a complete 360-degree view of the magnificent mountains. My family and i will be back again.

It’s nothing fancy, no hot tub, but it’s in a great location and the price is reasonable. The grab and go breakfast is adequate and convenient. The rooms are newly renovated with amenities such as a fridge, microwave, single cup coffee maker, and toiletries. The lobby staff tried to be helpful, but they informed us the first shuttle arrives at 0815 but there were definitely earlier shuttles.

We had a wonderful visit. Check in was easy and friendly. Room was very nice, no complaints. Location is perfect for access to what you need. Shuttle is only a couple blocks down. making it very easy to access the park. We'll definitely book there again.

Google
Nice stay. Excellent view of the canyon. Room was very comfortable. Easy to park and walk up stairs to. Lobby closes at 9pm was told except emergencies. Was told there was a place across the street open until 11pm if we needed anything. Very inexpensive and worth it! Only thing I could say against this place was the grab n go breakfast left a lot to be desired. But still worth staying.

Google
The first thing to know is that contrary to the website, this is NOT a "brand new" hotel nor do they "serve a free continental breakfast daily." I am going to chalk this up to a lack of updating the website which looks to have been created in 2019. We went to the breakfast area which was bare and still had a "Merry Christmas" sign hanging up, only to learn it was a bagged grab-n-go breakfast (something that was not mentioned at check-in when we were told the hours of breakfast). Daughter is gluten-free so no option of any substance in the bag for her. We also had issues with both the desk lamp and vanity mirror light not working, our keys were disabled after our first night and had to have them reprogrammed after a long day at Zion. We specifically told the housekeeping person no need to enter our room and yet they did anyway (we really didn't need service and preferred the privacy - no "Do not disturb" sign available to hang out). All of this was brought to the attention of the front desk at various times during our stay. That said, it is clean, the location was very convenient to the shuttle that gets you to the park entrance, and easy to walk to nearly everything downtown - shops, restaurants, market, etc. Disappointing stay.

Google
This place seems like it was recently renovated. The room was reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly to deal with. The breakfast was not what I know of a continental breakfast, it was a bagged breakfast consisting of a muffin, a bagel, and a piece of fruit but it was fresh. In the lobby there is self serve coffee, tea, water, and a selection of juices. If we were to go back there vacation we would lodge there again. My only criticism is the room needs tissues. (Hard to blow your nose on toilet tissue). TV and Wifi included. Close to Zion Canyon. Cute town for shopping and restaurants. Also great views of the mountains Thanks for making this part of our vaction pleasant.

Yelp
We came to Zion to hike Angel's Landing and see the beautiful things you will find in the park. We had no question we wanted to stay in the park itself. And honestly, the price of the lodge was not that different than staying in Springdale for the convenience. We all had cabins which are like duplex or fourplex structures in front of the two story hotel rooms. They were perfect. I read some reviews who stated that for the basic accommodations that it was expensive and to that I say what a ridiculous complaint when we are in a national park. I actually thought the cabins were quaint and I loved the fireplace in the room. I also thought it was plenty large. Be aware that at least during our stay, the wifi exists but is very spotty and I had no cell service by the lodge area and in most of the park except down by the visitor center so you will be mostly disconnected. There is a lodge dining room and cafe and beer garden. They loan out games at the front desk if you want to sit in the lodge after dinner and play something.

Yelp
A solid 2-Star hotel centrally located in Springdale, UT. Only 1.5 miles away from the Zion National Park Visitor Center and it's dog friendly. We really enjoyed our 1-night stay. The lobby was inviting, customer service at the front desk was great, the bed was comfy, bed linens were surprisingly nice, beautiful view, and the main grocery store "Sol Foods" was just across the street (closes at 11pm). Clean sheets, fluffy pillows, and a substantial comforter - heavy enough to keep me warm when the A/C was running. Great room rate! We arrived 4 hours prior to the 3pm check-in time, so I inquired about getting our room early; Nothing was available. They did offer to start the check-in process, so all we had to do at 3pm was get our room key. Meanwhile, we ended up leaving our car in the spacious lot and used the free Springdale shuttle to get us to the Zion shuttle (headed to The Narrows). It was less than a 5-min walk to Stop 5 near Bumbleberry Inn. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were topped off in the shower dispenser. Flat screen tv, mini fridge, and microwave were available in our room with 2 Queen beds. The few things that could be improved upon are more lighting in the bedroom area and stronger water pressure for the shower head. The morning after, the complimentary "continental" breakfast included yogurt, apple, granola bar, muffin, bagel & cream cheese. Perfect for the road! Would definitely return the next time we find ourselves in beautiful Zion!

Yelp
Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Checked in to a dirty room with people's belongings left in there. Our shower didn't work at all and when we asked the front desk about it, they promised it would be fixed by the time we got back that evening. When we got back, we still did not have a working shower and they said that nobody will be coming to fix it. They wouldn't let us switch rooms, and said that we won't be refunded our remaining stay if we decided to leave. Management has still refused to respond to the situation or even apologize considering we paid hundreds of dollars PER NIGHT to not be able to shower after hiking all weekend. Could have been resolved so easily, but instead stuck with a super frustrating outcome.

Franky M.

Yelp
The stay was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had and gave great recommendations to make our visit at Zion NP as good as it could be. They're located pretty close to all the shops in Springdale and only a few minutes from the park gate.

Yelp
We stayed at this nice vary comfortable hotel, we loved it ! The location was perfect we were so happy! The front desk lady Shannon was super kind and she helped us to get the directions how to get to the Zion National Park Visitor center. We loved the comfort, the views from the balcony, the location was perfect to leave the car and take the shuttle to the park. We didn't even expect to have a complimentary breakfast what was really thoughtful of them. She said it's "Grub and Go" which was enough food to eat and take with as to the park. Highly recommended.

Saeed A.

Yelp
I stayed at this lodge when I was visiting Zion National Park. I have to say the lodge isn't anything crazy but it's clean and works for the most part. Don't expect anything fancy but I wasn't expecting that and I'm very happy with what I got. Parking looks limited but I didn't seem to have issues whenever I needed to park but for the most part I walked or used the shuttle. If you're looking for something reliable and simple this place does the job well. There was a lady who I didn't catch her name at the front desk about half the time she was very friendly and loved the attitude she had and made the experience at the hotel better. The only reason I removed one star was because I wasn't a fan of the breakfast which was a brown bag with some "snacks " in it essentially which to me wasn't a breakfast. I'd rather they open the breakfast room and have a proper meal rather than the brown bag. I should mention they do have coffee and some juices at the front desk which was nice and you could take anytime.

Yelp
TL;DR: FOUND BEDBUGS AND TOLD MANAGEMENT. MANAGEMENT THREATENED NOT REFUND US FOR A ROOM WITH BEDBUGS IF WE POSTED A REVIEW. CALLED COPS ON US AFTER WE CALLED HER OUT FOR PREDATORY PRACTICES. Places get BEDBUGS, I get it, but what upset me was their response to the incident. We were laughed at in disbelief by the management when we made the claim that we found bedbugs in our room. When we went to physically show the front desk staff the BEDBUGS, he was unable to help us due to the fact that management refuses to give any sort of authority to the staff. Even overheard him explaining to the manager that a patron had found BEDBUGS, only to be asked, "and where did they find them?" to which he incredulously replied, "in their room..." With all of our clothing likely infested, we had to double bag all of our items and couldnt stay in our rooms so we were told to wait in the lobby. We waited for close to 4 HOURS AFTER HAVING FOUND THESE BEDBUGS for management to show up. Later we found that the delay was due to the manager on duty having been on a Jeep tour(what?). The blonde portly woman who was manager severely lacked customer service skills and first impression upon seeing the BEDBUGS, lamented to us how expensive it would now be to heat-treat the rooms. How was this my problem? We wanted to sanitize our clothes in a hot wash and asked for some spare clothing in the mean time, but were given none and instead offered a closet we could sit naked in while our clothes washed...No thank you? how would I get to the clothes after?? She was incredibly stubborn and refused to budge on any compromise. The cherry on top was her threatening to not refund me for my room charge if I were to post a review of the place. I didn't even care to post anything but that was all the motivation I needed to change my mind. I immediately called her out on that predatory tactic and she CALLED THE COPS ON ME. Luckily, the police were much more understanding and helped facilitate a refund, but beware you may not be so lucky. That sick woman has likely threatened many patrons already with this kind of extortion. DONT LET THIS BE YOU.

Mike S.

Yelp
Their site says that it is a completely new lodge. That is impossible as the rooms are "tired", dark and need upgrades. The mattress on the bed was quite soft and saggy. At now time were able to find the complementary breakfast open! We had cold water in the shower two out of the four nights. The only positive report that I can give is that it is centrally located in a cute town. I would certainly move on and find something better next time!

Yelp
When picking a place for me and my friends to stay while in Zion, we wanted a place that felt local and less like a hotel. This lodge was perfect and really set the mood for staying in zion. It's small compared to other neighboring hotels, but it was perfect for our stay. The views outside the lodge were beautiful, especially when the moon was out over the mountains. The lobby was very nicely decorated and the lady that checked us in was very nice. The room was like any typical hotel room. Two beds, TV, fridge, microwave, etc. They had a really nice mirror in the bathroom! They have complimentary breakfast from 6:30AM - 9:30AM. It's just like your typical continental breakfast with nothing special. They have a waffle maker, assortment of teas, coffees, and juices. They had 3 types of cereals, some fruit, yogurt, and pastries. And they had scrambled eggs and sausage patties. The dining area for breakfast is also nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and a TV for viewing. This place was also fairly cheap compared to well-known hotels nearby. I would stay here again!

Deborah S.

Yelp
Let me start with the positives: location, location location! This place has top notch views with walking distance to restaurants and shops that Springdale has to offer. Also the price was reasonable and within what we wanted to spend, and it's only about a mile and half away from the gate to Zion National Park. The beds are fairly comfortable and the checkin was easy and pleasant. The Negatives: for being a fairly new lodge, it's falling apart. You get the impression that the owners got this prime property and told the builders to do whatever it takes to get this place built and up and running and use your cheapest materials! I don't care, just get it done! And with thought, it shows. Everything, and I mean everything, was bottom of the line materials, from the decking outside, which in spots were sinking, to plumbing materials, furniture and lighting. The doors were improperly installed, the paint and finishes ( calking around the tub) were not completed or not done properly. And as far as cleanliness, well that needed work too. We found either dog or beard hair in one of the drawers. So with all the negatives why the three stars? Location, views and friendly front desk service. Would I come back? Most likely no. There are plenty of other hotels around the area to chose from with about the same price and with the same views and same great location. I'm afraid this place will not stand the test of time unless a serious overhaul is done.

Yelp
Our stay at Zion Canyon Lodge started off okay and confusing. I got a call around 7PM telling us that if we arrived past 8PM, the lobby would be closed and our Keys would be in an envelope on the window. We arrived around 8:20 and the front lobby was still open until 9PM. No one really helped us check in because they were busy helping another guest with a room mix up. Apparently, they already had guests in the room that they assigned her in. So we grabbed our keys inside the envelope behind on the counter with our name on it. The next morning, we went to the front desk at 7:30AM to check in (those were the instructions written inside the envelope for late check ins). And caught the first shuttle to Zion around 8:30AM. We came back to our room after a long day of exploring Zion around 4:30PM. The first thing we noticed when I opened the door was our room was very clean, so much so that we never stepped foot in it. That's because all of our stuff was missing. All of it missing! We were staying another night, so none of our things were packed, beers in the fridge, socks on the floor, toiletries still out, chargers, everything out. We went to the front desk to ask what had happened to all our stuff and the lady told us they thought we were supposed to check out that day and had moved all of our belongings out to avoid charging us another day. Mind you, we were done exploring the narrows by 1:30PM and were hanging out at the village until we got back to our room, so we both had signal on our phones. The lodge never called us to confirm if we were leaving, considering none of our things were packed. They just decided on their own to go through our belongings and pack everything as they saw fit. Toiletry bag inside the food cooler, face wash inside my shoe, dirty clothes on top of my clean ones. Once everything was sorted out, we brought everything bag to our room. We just felt so uneasy and unsafe afterwards, thinking about all of our personal things they had gone through. At the end, we were missing an iPhone charger and some beers we just bought. There wasn't any monetary value at loss, it's the fact that someone had gone through our personal belongings. I was paranoid going to bed, thinking that someone would try to come in our room, because the staff had the rooms mixed up again. We told the lady at the front desk about the missing items, she said she would call housekeeping to check and call us back. She never called back. She said she was new and her daughter was with her at the front desk. I didn't want to give her anymore problems. The next morning we checked out at 10AM, an hour earlier than check out time. Another lady with short blonde hair, not sure if she was the manager or not was there and said "oh your room has already been checked out." The same problem would've occurred if we hadn't checked out and was gone all day. We told her about the charger, she wrote our name and number down. But of course, that went nowhere. They had coffee and juice available as long as the lobby was open. The location was very close to Zion and close a shuttle stop. The room was clean and okay. If we hadn't had whole problem of "getting kicked out," everything would've been perfect, but it kind of ruined our stay, to say the least. We will not be staying or recommending Zion Canyon Lodge to anyone.

Nids A.

Yelp
Beautiful views, next to Zion national park, and excellent customer service. The manager was so helpful and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommending this place to all my family and friends.

Yelp
Stayed here overnight for a quick weekend get away. We had a 2 queen room. Rooms were large and clean - ours had tile floor which I liked. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of parking. We were on the top floor in the back building, room was quite and the view was amazing. Location can't be beat, walking distance to Sol market, gas station, and restaurants and a few minutes from the park. Only complaint is Sunday morning we called down to the front desk 3x and even stoped in and there as no one there??

Jojo P.

Yelp
Booked a family suite and it was more than adequate for a quick two night stay in Springdale to visit Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. The family suite includes a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. The room was sizable and fairly clean and includes a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. It is motel style so parking is convenient. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, I'd recommend requesting to stay on the bottom floor. You do tend to hear a lot of the footsteps upstairs on the bottom floor. They offered a to-go breakfast due to COVID. It included a bagel, two hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a muffin, and an apple. They have a drink station in the business center with coffee and juices. The coffee wasn't very good, but there are a few coffee shops nearby within walking distance. Overall, a good place to stay in Springdale.

Monica G.

Yelp
I think this hotel is very typical of a 3 star hotel. Not a lot of frills but the basics are there. The location is excellent and walking distance to many restaurants and shop and only a few shuttle stops away from the park entrance. We arrived after 9pm so there was no one there to check us in but the staff left an envelope with our name on the front door. We had a very noisy neighbor who was cussing up a storm at 4am but she was gone the next night so our sleep was uninterrupted. There is no continental breakfast as indicated by their website so I asked them to remove it as it's deceiving.

win d.

Yelp
We got the family suite and it had everything you could ever need! Full size fridge, a cooker, pots and pans, utensils. Place is newly renovated and super clean. Whenever we called for something, it was taken cared of immediately. Free coffee and juice bar at reception was perfect for hot summer days. Free breakfast to go was great too. The place is walking distance to several restaurants and across the street from a grocery store. Perfect stay!

Bruce R.

Yelp
The good first: clean room and no bad smells. Bed was okay. The air conditioner works fine. And of course the location makes most negatives bearable. However the toilet paper dispenser (rack?) fell off the wall at first touch. The sound insulation sucks.

Yelp
This review is for Zion Canyon Lodge 990 Zion Park Blvd. Springdale UT. We planned a 2 week trip to the National Parks in AZ, UT, NM, CO, mostly one night per stop. When booking a night at what we thought was the lodge inside the park (Zion Canyon Lodge? Zion Lodge?), we unknowingly ended up with a reservation here. A few days later we realized we needed to change our check in date by 1 day. We called "Zion Canyon Lodge"/ " Zion Lodge"...? and made the change, no problem. We checked into the lodge (the one in the park) and had a great experience. After our trip ended and we were checking all our credit card charges, we found what looked like a double charge for this stay. We spoke to the very helpful, very patient staff at the Lodge in the park and they confirmed there was no additional charge. During one call with the manager, she mentioned there was another hotel nearby with a similar name and they have run into this problem of mistaken identity before. After many attempts to contact this hotel (Zion Canyon Lodge- not in the park), we spoke to a manager who was not sympathetic with our dilema - accidentally booking their rooms and thinking we had changed the original booking date. It was confusing because of the similar names and an honest mistake on our part. The manager had no sympathy for our situation and said they couldn't do anything for us and we owed $305 and $350 for two rooms. One note I brought up - we never received an email confirming the upcoming stay, which is usually sent a week or 2 prior to check-in. Standard policy according to the manager. We had our credit card company dispute these charges. After months of waiting we just found out that because of the information provided by the Zion Canyon Lodge (which we were not privy to) the dispute was declined. We are out A LOT of money for an honest mistake and mix up we feel was due to the similarity of hotel names and less than efficient communication. Over a 2 week period we booked 11 hotels, changed dates a couple of times and never once had a problem like this. We were diligent about checking our bookings. We admit our unwitting error but the ZCL people were unwilling to be understanding or kind. BEWARE when you book hotels, lodges, etc. This put a sour note on the end of an otherwise wonderful trip. ZCL - you need the business and good PR. You can afford to be generous. Or you should consider changing your name and communication policies!

Yelp
My experience at this lodge was a wonderful one night stay due to Shannon, the manager. Our first encounter with her was after checking in we went to the lobby to seek recommendations on what to do at Zion National Park after 5pm on a snowy Friday night. She gave us the idea to watch the sunset at one of the overlooks. She gave us maps and a very clear set of directions. It was a marvelous way to end a full day of driving. On the next morning, we checked out of the hotel thinking to spend the whole day at Zion and she immediately remembered us from the night before, asked us how the short hike to watch the sunset went. And offered a "breakfast to go" for us to get our morning off to a great start. On top of that she provided us a place to leave our bags while we spent our day at the National Park and when we returned that evening I had the most welcoming conversation with her reminiscencing about our shared childhoods in Hawaii. Right before I took my bags, I extended her a cash tip and she kindly told me ... none was needed as it was her pleasure. What great service !!! Truly a top notch lodge and it's super close to Zion National Park and there is a large supermarket right across the street which we went for food and trail mixes. And let us not forget Meme's (yes spelled exactly like that) Cafe right next to the supermarket. Best Cafe in town!

Cecelia G.

Yelp
Great views, easy access to the national park, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Check in was easy and they were so kind to let us check in early! It was great to not have to wait 3 hours to check in, when they had a room ready to go! The bed was soft, plenty of pillows, and a great balcony space to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and scenery!

Kathy C.

Yelp
Stayed here for four nights. Room seemed dated for a brand new motel. The pillows were small and too puffy, the walls are paper thin, just like their toilet paper. We were on the bottom floor and could hear everything! It is nice to be close to the park, restaurants and across the street is a market, but won't be staying here again.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
The rooms are not clean and they are not cleaned regularly. They "continue to follow the covid protocols" of not cleaning rooms if you stay more than one night. We did request our room cleaned but were told the "...ladies were gone for the night. " Make sure to bring your own clean towels! I was told to empty my own garbage even. It's is more expensive than the Marriot down the street. The Marriot has cleaning services though :).

Tim S.

Yelp
I have read some pretty mediocre reviews of this place, and I don't really understand them. Yes, when you get in you realize that a lot of the fixtures, the kitchen, the dressers, are pretty cheap stuff. Still, we got a very roomy family suite which is perfect for a couple and children, or even two couples with a fold out in the living area. The bathroom is very spacious with a very nice shower. The queen bed is perfectly comfortable, and there were a full set of clean linens for the fold out. I guess the only surprise is that this unit has a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, a toaster, microwave, but no stove or oven. There is a hot plate type device on which you can cook, and there are some pans in the cabinet. Still, if you were planning on staying here with a family and cooking a meal, you might have a hard time. The coffee maker is a miserable little single cup contraption, and the coffee that is supplied is the regular god-awful crap in little packets. You would do well to bring your own coffee, a French press, and heat water in the microwave. Still, these may be small issues. The place is very nicely located. The only nearby market is right across the street, and the local shuttle stop is nearby. All in all, Not a bad place. A little bit of work and expense could make it a very nice one.

Sally M.

Yelp
Clean hotel including rooms and lobby, excellent view from upstairs. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows. TV didn't work at first but management came right away and fixed the problem. Nice "to go" breakfast, juice and coffee available in lobby. All in all, I was pleased with this lodge. Staff was pleasant & accommodating.

Mary K.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! It was my first time staying here although I have been to Zion many times. It was very clean and tidy. Staff was wearing masks and stayed distance from us. Check in and out was smooth. It was close to the park entrance and close to a shuttle stop (although the shuttle was out of service in August 2020). Walking distance to restaurants and a market. The room was very clean, modern, and had adequate amenities. (Fridge, microwave) Our room was on the second floor in the back building and there were only stairs and no elevator to get up there. Not an issue for us but I am not sure if they can accommodate for that. Overall- highly recommend!

Raini F.

Yelp
i'm not sure where to start with this review. this was my first visit to zion canyon so i had no idea where i was staying. what attracted me to zion canyon lodge is their family suite which is like a one bedroom studio apartment. there is one bedroom with a king bed and then a pull out sofa in the living room. the pullout sofa sucks, most of them do but this one is really bad. i didn't come to this beautiful place to hang out in my room but the time i spent in the room i didn't enjoy because it felt dirty. i know i am kind of hard to please but i just could not get over the gross feeling in the room. so if you are looking for a great space with friendly staff and don't mind mediocre amenities then this is your jam. close to town, restaurants, shops and shuttle into the park.

Yelp
We stayed at the Zion Canyon Lodge in Springdale for a night shortly before Thanksgiving while visiting the park right next door. The hotel was comfortable and clean. We ate at Oscar's Cafe just a few doors down and all in all had an excellent stay. The breakfast to go the following morning was an unexpected bonus -- a brown paper bag for each of us complete with boiled egg, bagel, cream cheese and other stuff - more than sufficient to see us through our visit to the park.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Wonderful place to stay if you're visiting zion. VERY CLEAN , great price , and awesome location. Staff was very kind and accommodating!

Suzie S.

Yelp
Zion Canyon Lodge is a BEAUTIFUL place! Found it last minute and was able to secure a suite. My boyfriend and I are traveling for my Birthday week with Zion being the last place to visit for the week. We couldn't be more pleased!! Beautiful suite, clean and very spacious!! We can't wait to visit again ( just sad it's only for one night).

Destiny E.

Yelp
I loved this place! Literally only a couple minutes from the opening of Zion National Park. You can wake up and drive right on over to the National Park in minutes! Compared to staying in a city like St. George which is about an hour drive to the entrance of the National Park. The views are beautiful at this lodge. There is no breakfast offered due to Covid but they have a mini refreshment bar open during lobby hours (juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate). The rooms are ample with space as well. The room was very clean. Checking in and out was extremely easy. The rooms came with a mini fridge + microwave. You're walking distance from several shops + restaurants. However, many restaurants get booked fast so I would make reservations in advance if you can. We arrived at 7pm and couldn't find anyone taking walk ins to eat so we had to check in and head back to St George to eat. Overall this place is a nice lodge to stay in.

Yelp
To start of the staff was discriminating us from the start when she saw we were from Vegas and young she said to not smoke weed and we don't even do none of that another thing is that one of the rooms bathroom was dirty it had hair on the body wash dispenser and the other room had a really disgusting bath towel with two brown hand marks on it( unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the towel). The hotel said no pets when I was checking online and then at night I don't know who it was but they had a dog barking all night .Another thing is that when we were all in one room playing card games laughing to pass some time in the night the front desk called the cops on us saying we were having a party with really loud music and everyone was screaming and the cop told us if he came again he was gonna arrest us all and give us tickets for disturbing the peace when in fact all we were doing was playing card games and in the morning when I went to checkout the lady in the front desk said that she got multiple noise complaints from everyone staying there, when she's the one that called the cops on us. We will definitely not be staying here again when I've never had any of this problems at the others hotels I've stayed at before.

Yelp
Loved this hotel for our trip to Zion. The location is great for easy entry to the national park. Check in was easy. Shannon was incredible. She gave us so much advice and made our trip 100x better with her input. Sameer and Vidhi were both fantastic as well. Great customer service and very nice people! The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, parking was simple. Our room was top floor and the view from the window was gorgeous. Highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Springdale/Zion national park! Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
We went there on a very hot day. The staff was nice. The facility was clean and well kept. Our room did not have a view but given the temperature we had gladly taken it. The breakfast was in a brown bag. It took away from the experience of having a sit-down breakfast.

Yelp
putting one star bc we came here so tired and just wanting to lay back and rest, well Check in is at 3 pm and both our tv in our room were not working! It's not my responsibility to worry and stress all afternoon, spent 3 hours going back and fourth with the front desk. not staying here again, they still charged us. total bs

Yelp
This place was horrible. The lady that checked us in was the only bright spot of this place. She was very friendly. When we checked into our room it was dirty. Pet hair on couch, counters dirty, floor dirty. The pull out sofa couch had not blankets or sheets when we opened it up. Then it was to late to call the front desk. Then when we asked for stuff to be done it was done bare minimums we ask for stuff and they left 1 item out of maybe the 4 things we asked for. I actually caught there cleaning crew watching tv in one of the rooms. I went to ask if they could clean our room and they were all on there phones watching tv. Told me I had to go to the front desk to put in a request. Just horrible service. Spend $700 to stay during Christmas. Not worth it. Zion is a beautiful place but not this lodge. So many other places to stay that we found while we were there. Another thing I forgot the cleaning crew where not wearing mask. In our room there was a sign please wash your dishes due to COVID-19?? I don't get wash my dishes but the cleaning crew does not have to wear mask while they clean rooms????

Yelp
Filthy room and staff refused to take care of the issue because they do no operate 24 hours and the office was closed down. We found hair in both the shower and bed! Gross!!!!!

Yelp
This place was very accommodating. We had a group of 4 different parties and they made sure we were all together. This is a great location and a very chil spot. And the grocery store is right across the street. Great views good coffee.

Yelp
Not more than a 3 star motel. It was fine. But the building is a bit shabby despite looking new and shiny from the road. For two out of the three nights we were there, the wifi in our building didn't work. That's frustrating. We could go to the lobby, but not a convenient place to work. Receptionist said they were trying to fix it and I believe her. But two days to fix it? Really? The breakfast was really a joke. They offered a bag filled with an over-processed store-bought muffin and bagel, gross Red Delicious apple (I'm from Washington, where they are grown and I know they are the worst apples - mushy and no flavor) and a small yogurt. Honestly, the breakfast wasn't worth eating and we ditched it after the first day and went across the street to the Sol grocery store for way better grab and go breakfast options. While I wouldn't say you shouldn't stay here, I will just say that know what you're getting into. Also, this is outside the park, not to be confused with the Zion Lodge, which is inside the park (a totally different property that I can't comment on since I didn't stay there).

Yelp
We stayed here during our vacation. It was such a blessing being this close to the park. The rooms are spacious and clean, not sure if they have breakfast or not, and the view in the morning is amazing.

Yelp
This hotel has great view, friendly staffs, clean & spacious room, great AC, fridge, ice machine, coin laundry, cold breakfast with multiple items, and free ice cold juice. It is so refreshing after a long hot day. Front desk is open only between 630A to 10P daily. Plan your trip properly. We need extra towels at 1003PM, no luck.

Yelp
Starting with checkin, the lady working was nice, customer service was nothing above average. We checked in and went to our room to see two queen beds (though I could have sworn I booked a room with 1 king). The lady at the front desk told me I didn't and they were fully booked so I couldn't be switched. When I came back to ask about switching rooms, she had her daughter behind the desk with her (I understand COVID is affecting everyone but its more professional to at least keep her in the back). The room was clean, no complaints and the hotel is located walking distance to the boutiques and restaurants. Being on the first floor is loud and you can easily hear people walking around above you and can hear the water draining from upstairs rooms. I noticed a cute outdoor seating area on the second floor of the front building and went to ask if it ever opened because the website I booked through said there was outdoor seating (& besides that all id seen was 1 picnic table). A different lady was here for night shift who told me it was only open during breakfast (might I add this lady also brought kids and the kids were at the desk when I walked in and the employee was not). So the next morning I go to the breakfast room (because their website DOES say they offer continental breakfast) and it's locked. Ask the lady who checked us in yesterday about it and she said they don't serve breakfast anymore as of about 3 months ago and asks where I saw that because it doesn't say that on their website (but it does)?!?! Someone please update the staff and hotel website so everyone's all on the same page. Not worth the $177 for one night when other hotels around have a pool and breakfast for close to the same price.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Very clean, good service, and convenient location. We had a "family suite" -- more than enough for us - with a comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, and sink. Lodge also gave us a "breakfast to go bag" the night before because we were getting up early to get to Zion.

Yelp
We stayed in the king suite. Amazing stay. Very clean and the staff was amazing. Will be making more trip an only stay here. Thank you

Yelp
This Hotel is definitely the best in Springdale. The staff, especially Shannon, are all extremely friendly and she even provided us recommendations on where to eat. If you're struggling on finding places to stay, choose this one, you won't regret it

Yelp
THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! Their customer service is horrible. I was charged for 2 reservations for the same night....same room even! But now they won't refund me my money. Flat denied it when they know they charged me twice. I even asked the lady when I checked in why I had two reservations and because she didn't want to be bothered she said "well I'm just checking you in, you'll need to call back another time". I did, and was flat denied for THEM overcharging me! The room was short towels, nobody brought us more. The soap dispenser was hanging off the wall, nobody came. Such a shame that it's pretty on the outside and in a great location but don't be fooled, horrible care for their patrons.

Yelp
Very satisfied with our stay. Hotel represents good value for the price. Clean and modern. Shannon at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations. Would stay again in future.

Yelp
The view from our room is spectacular, best ever from a motel. Price was modest (January rates, I assume.) Front desk was welcoming and helpful; the room and furnishings new (everything works!). Bed and pillows were just right. Small refrigerator and microwave. No noise during the night--stone silent! Breakfast room also has a view, and the food is OK. We were so comfortable we spent a second night. If you plan to have food and wine in your room, we recommend you buy it before you get to Springdale, as the prices in town are high.

Yelp
Great hotel! Walking distance to downtown and close to Zion. Shannon at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Will be staying here again when I return to Utah!

Yelp
Ok, first the positives. The rooms are clean. The beds pretty comfortable. Maybe the best thing about this place is that it is located right across the street from a great little grocery store, Sol Foods. So although this place has almost 0 amenities, it's wonderful to be able to cross the street and get anything you need. On the downside, You really need to set your expectations. This place is really simply a motel. Think Motel 6. I was on the ground floor watching shadows of people walking by my window all night. I heard every footstep from the room above. Lights from the parking lot shining through the window every time a car pulled in. The lamp in the room worked, but was clearly broken. Comparatively, the price for this room is about half of what you would pay for the very few nice lodgings in town. However, with taxes this room was still $300 for the night. In any other universe this is a $99 room at best. Now, in fairness, I was at a nice place down the street and wanted to stay in town an extra night, and my place couldn't accommodate me, so this was one of the few places available at the last minute (I now know why) So due to the lack of room availability in town, I'm sure they jacked the price up an extra hundred and fifty, which I understand. If this room had been $129 I could have accepted its shortcomings. Maybe if I had a room on the second floor I might have been a little less irritated, but I'll never know for sure, because I would never give this place a second chance.
