UPDATE April 2025: We visited again today after a little while and we met the new owner! The menu has been updated and we tried a few of the new additions as well as some classics and the food was so good! I think our favorite was the spicy pork bap and the tang su yuk. Our kid loved the fried meat! Really worth it to visit! Original review: We love this place!! We come once a week now, our toddler absolutely loves the Japchae glass noodles, she drags the noodles with the chopsticks and it's always a blast. Every person working there we've met has been so nice. We do know what to order usually, but I'm sure if you're not familiar with Korean food they'd explain it really well! Food comes out fast, our usual lineup is kimchi pancakes, japchae, black bean noodles, and one rotating dish. Last time we got tangsuyuk, which is pieces of pork deep fried in a batter and then drenched in a sweet and sour sauce. It's SO good. Recommended to everyone, even kids!!

I went to this place for a dinner with my sister! Foods came out a little slow but it was worth it because everything tasted great!! We had kimchi & tofu dish and dumpling soup and they were delish. Servers were also very kind and patient despite the restaurant being PACKED with other customers. I can't wait to try other dishes so I'm definitely coming back soon!!

Grabbed lunch to go, it was a lot food, 2 could have easily shared. So much vegetables in the bowl with bulgogi, plus the banchans! I didn’t add to the atmosphere since I didn’t dine in.

Very good place! Quick, friendly, tasty, affordable! Love this place. Come here on the way from Tybee Island to Augusta.

We are so glad there is another Korean restaurant open in Pooler. Look small outside but the space inside is large. The design is simple but elegant. The staff is very nice. They have many dishes to choose from and they also have grill on the table and private rooms. The food is delicious and the level 2 spicy (🌶 🌶 ) is quite hot. Their portion is huge. My grilled pork and kimchi can feed 2-3 people.

Yelp
I've had the cold noodle, the glabitang, and the seolleongtang. All three are absolutely amazing! They offer a great variety of banchan as well. Service is friendly and quick. They are also very helpful. The restaurant itself is cure and very clean! Love the button on the wall if you need service. Definitely give it a try!!

Yelp
I really loved the atmosphere of this place! It has such an awesome vibe! I love the little private rooms and I like the decor. We were seated quickly but we did wait a little bit for waitress to come to the table. We did not notice that there was a button that we could press to call over someone. It rings and lets them know what table is ringing. We decided to order 2 orders of beef bulgogi and kimchi dumplings. We enjoyed the beed bulgogi and the kimchi dumplings were delicious! We also loved the side dishes as well! The bathrooms were cleaned and the staff was friendly!

Yelp
Food is always authentic and great. We had a small reward feast after some arduous work at our house.

Yelp
I started out with pan fried dumplings which are crispy on the outside and tender inside. The beef bulgogi was very flavorful and service excellent. I highly recommend eating there again.

Yelp
Pooler, Georgia is coming up with new cuisine! My little cousin had been to this location three times this week and insisted going again with me and our other cousin. The owners should really sponsor her, she has been announcing their business location and food to everyone she sees. We got the combo A for two people, let me just say.. The portion was huge and we had leftovers. The pork belly, and marinated steak rib with the huge bone was my favorite! The steam egg was light/fluffy. All the ban chan was really good, i wish they had salad and rice paper, but they are new, maybe still working out the kinks ;) Ooh, and the cold noodles! So refreshing, the flavors were spice, tangy, and noodles were chewy/easy to slurp! We love the cold noodles! It's s must try!

Yelp
Their Yukhwe tastes best in US. And I really recommend the Jjamppong. Super impressive.

Yelp
Being Korean, I know how the food should taste. I ordered Korean BBQ for party of four. The pros and cons will be used to evaluate this place. Pros- The food was pleasantly good from sides to the main course. The staff were quite pleasant. However, you do need to seek them out for refills and extra food. They will not check on you to see if anything is needed. Cons- The price can be high. Even though , I expected it most people will not be ready for around $250 for party of four BBQ meal. When you sit to eat, they give you a water bottle that can be split into of about 8 ounces of water for each person. You will need more than that so ask for refills often. I will probably not eat here again, but everyone should try once at least.

Yelp
I usually enjoy coming here. I think the sides are delicious and the meat is good quality. But this last time our waitress wouldn't leave us alone and threw our ribeye on and started to cook it for us at the beginning of our meal. Pretty annoying and presumptuous of her to think we are incapable. After a while she was trying to cook our food and wouldn't leave our table, but didn't do this to any of the other tables. For the price we would expect to be able to enjoy our meal and the experience on our own. My husband had to tell her that we got it after 10 minutes of her trying to cook the food for us.

Yelp
This restaurant is very authentic. I used to have to drive four hours to Atlanta to get good authentic Korean food but now I don't. Service is quick and very polite. Everything is very clean and you can't smell the smoke even though I had other people eating Korean bbq next to me. I am definitely coming back here again with friends this time. Worth it. Price is pretty standard and comparable to both Korean places in Atlanta and New York.

Yelp
Fast food and service. Definitely on the authentic side. They have both options, grill your own food or not. Check this bulgogi out tho. It was delicious.

Yelp
Zip Bob recently opened and we love KBBQ and so we were eager to give them a try. The restaurant is spacious and clean and the staff members were extremely nice. They all seemed happy and that made our dining experience there that much more enjoyable. Lim, Lucy and Sun took great care of our party of 16. The quality of meat that we were served was wonderful. The beef had great marbling and it was so tender. Everything that we ordered that was prepared in the kitchen was excellent from the beef fried rice to the sweet chili chicken. We all left stuffed and we are happy to have Zip Bob as another local Pooler dining spot.

Yelp
Jajang Myun! In America! It's sooo hard to find, I probably haven't eaten it in 15 yrs. It was so good! Not quite as good as some places in Korea (or at least my 20 yr old memories of them) but pretty darn close. The to go order was packed similar to how it would be in Korea with the noodles separate from the sauce and a container of pickled kind of sweet radish? (I think) and kimchi. Kimchi was good, a little more kick than some. Oh...and for all you Korean Chinese food lovers out there like me, they also have Tang-Soo-Yuk! I can't wait to try it! Next time!

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Would not recommend. I tried to call in a take out order and was told "we are fully booked today". I don't know if there was a language barrier. Service was very poor and that's very unfortunate because the food was good the one time I went and sat inside previously. It was very strange, I just wanted to place a take out order. How can you be fully booked for a takeout order of dumplings?

Susan K.

Yelp
Went upon the recommendation of this site as we were just passing through. When you are the only non-Koreans in a Korean restaurant, you know it has to be good. And it was! Bulgogi (marinated beef) plate, spicy pork plate, and mandu dumplings were all amazing! If you are ever in Pooler, GA, outside of Savannah right off 95, drop in. But go early as they were turning people away as we were leaving. Parking lot is small and packed as there are several restaurants in the shopping center.

Yelp
Looking for a great Korean place in Pooler? Look no further than Zip Bob. The location itself is well taken care of and the food is delicious. Was specifically craving jjajjangmyun and a visit to another Korean place in town but that ended in sadness at them not being able to serve it as they were out of something for it? She just said they wouldn't have that dish for a while. Went to Zip Bob hoping to have jjajjangmuyn and thankfully they had no problems serving us. Delicious side dishes and a great jjajjangmyun. Very happy all around with the visit. Will be coming back to Zip Bob in the future for delicious and fast Korean!

Yelp
New korean restaurant in pooler. Very authentic Korean food that's like a mom and pop restaurant. Everyone works together to wait on the tables, great customer service, very good flavorful food, and clean restaurant. I ordered 3 dishes to try to get a taste of what they had to offer and everything was delicious. I tried the soy bean noodles with sliced cucumbers, spicy rice cakes, and their pig bone stew with veggies. The side dishes were also wonderful. Give this new Korean restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed :)

Yelp
I tried nangmyon(cold noodle)and seafood zajjang noodle last night . Overally taste was good. Especially I liked the way most Korean' s recipe. Not fusion. Like once Jan George who is French we'll known chef said, Korean food is excellent food by itself. Thanks for all staffs.

Yelp
This place is very authentic Korean food! It's amazing, but they are on the pricey side. The seafood pancake was my favorite! I had the galbi but I didn't care for the taste at all. Other than that, everything else was good.

Yelp
So happy I tried this place for the 1st time. It is a clean place and food was good! Prices are reasonable as well.

Yelp
Ambiance basic but good. Service very good. Gyoza type food, excellent. Main course (Bob) good but not great. I'd certainly eat here again.

Yelp
I would give "0" if I could because....I brought my granddaughter at 12:45 for a light lunch before shopping (big dinner later). I ordered for both of us an appetizer of 8 dumplings for $8.99 and a Bulgogi plate for $16.99. The Waitress looked at my granddaughter & waiting for her response. I said that's it. Waitress asked if we were sharing. I said, "Yes, we are just having a light lunch before shopping". Waitress said we can't share. I said, "fine. She will have the dumplings & I'll have the bulgogi". Waitress said, "not allowed! I go ask chef". Waitress returned & told me again, "Chef said no sharing allowed." As I started to tell the waitress what does it matter it's NOT BUFFET a male waiter comes to our table. He got LOUD. He told us with a FIRM TONE, "NO SHARING IS ALLOWED! IF YOU WANT TO SHARE I CAN BRING YOU AN EMPTY PLATE BUT WILL COST $16.99!" I personally couldn't believe this was happening especially with restaurants needing business. It is now about 1pm and only 4 other people eating. I looked around the empty restaurant and said with plenty of sarcasm, "I guess you're so busy you don't need our business." We got up & walked out. This is my FIRST REVIEW I have ever done! I have no idea if the food is tasty and portions suitable. What I do know is they were all rude and I'll never return or recommend them.

Yelp
Visited Zip Bob for the first time and ordered the Jjam Bbong (spicy seafood sauce noodle) and Korean style fried rice. Wow, very tasty seafood noodle soup and shrimp fried rice. Very satisfied--will definitely visit again. Was provided with excellent service. More space for eating than previous establishment. Just what we needed in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Large portions and the food was served hot and fresh! The restaurant was neat and clean. The service was ok. The lady waitress forgot a few things but the guy made up for it. Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
WAAAAAAYYYY over priced garbage. I've eaten KBBQ in many different cities mostly in and around Los Angeles and this was hands down the worst. 150 bucks for gristle and they didn't even have any diakon raddish. I had to ask for gochujang and the lady looked at me like I had six heads. The meat was almost nothing but fat and gristle. Gross. With the meat ($99.00) we got three slices of white onion and one (1) mushroom. I had to ask for lettuce that came sopping wet. Rice was apparently a foreign ask and the steamed egg was full of scallions and taste more like fish than egg. It was terrible. If you want to spend that kind of money on KBBQ, go down the street to Bewon. I'm not a huge of that place but at least its edible and they give you vegetables and the steamed egg is good. Contemplating going in and asking for my money back. Seriously I'd love others to weigh in on this...have you ever been to a Korean restaurant that just didn't serve any diakon reddish??? I can see this place gets good reviews, I dont get it other than to say the other reviewers have never had anything good at a Korean restaurant.

S G.

Yelp
The food is very good. I'm not sure of anyone else leaving reviews for this restaurant but coming from someone originally from NY/NJ, I can make a judgement on Korean food. When they opened, I was skeptical but after trying their food, I can say it brought tears to my eyes to finally eat something close to food from up north. The service is typical Korean style. The decor is clean and nice if a bit bland and typical of a casual style restaurant. If you are in the Savannah area and need authentic NY/ NJ style Korean food then this is it for now. We'll see if new ones open up especially with Hyundai and KISS Products moving in the area. Also, for those critiquing particular offerings ala daikon radish..this is not something offered as a typical side dish unless you are ordering jajeong myun. Certain dishes are paired differently depending on what you order....

Sarah G.

Yelp
Staff were very rude. Ignored us at the door then told us we can't eat there cause there was no room. Then proceeded to sit the people behind us. Very racially motivated restaurant. Shouldn't assume someone doesn't speak Korean just because they are a different race. Very rude things were said in front of us because they assumed none of the group would understand. Very disappointed.

Yelp
They have now installed the in table grills. The soup flavors seemed to have improved. Overall, this is now my favorite Korean restaurant in the area. Pretty authentic. Banchan/sides have great variety and taste much bette than other restaurants in the area. Love the combo bbq and cold noodles. Have a wider variety of menu items.

Justin N.

Yelp
Phenomenal food. Pooler desperately needed another Korean option and this is a perfect addition.

Heather P.

Yelp
3/4 of us became violently ill the evening of 5/21/23 after eating here. We ordered the 4 person meal; I believe it was the owner's wife that may have served us: she was rude, acted as though we were an inconvenience, I had called ahead and had 3 great experiences prior. I do believe we acquired food poisoning from this restaurant, all of our stomachs have been "off" after getting violently sick latwr that evening; a 4th person was even given the left overs and they became sick that evening (our original 4th guest ate nothing but rice). For $201 + $25 tip (for an extremely rude server) THEN we get food poisoning?! no response from attempting to call or email the restaurant. Stay away, i believe they knowingly served us bad meat (And for my Mom's Birthday dinner).
