Zip Fusion Sushi and KBBQ

Good place to get korean bbq. All the sides (banchan) are really good especially the pickled radish paper, the fish cake, and the kimchi. The meat options are also really good and they give big portions. Our sever was very attentive and helpful with ordering and looking at the menu. Haven't tried the sushi, but there was another group of customers that got the sushi it looked pretty good and we will be back to try it.

Austin was the best over here. Services 5 star. I read negative reviews before coming over but it was completely different for me and the wife. No complaints whatsoever. Food, device and equipment was good. We came on a Saturday at 5pm. Come hungry, you’ll enjoy it.

The food was great! The restaurant was packed but my husband and I sat at the bar with no wait. We ordered a hand full of rolls but the memorable one for the nite was the Poke roll. It has raw cut fish marinaded in sauce and cut apples on top of the roll. My husband did not expect to like it but we both loved it. We also really enjoyed the shrimp shumai.

Service was great. We were not sat by the bar but I had questions about the menu items listed there. Got Japanese Scallops and they were amazing, should have got two orders. Rolls were great and for feeding a family of 5 wasn’t too bad. Got 3 appetizers 4 rolls , bowl of Ramen and sushi. Everything came out at a good pace .

Absolutely no complaint! We went on a rainy night. It was just perfect. We received lots of attention from the staff. Everything was served in a timely manner. Thank you Alyssa for your tips and professionalism. Top-notch service. It was only my second time at a Korean BBQ so I had questions about the menu choices. I asked for recommendations. And the staff was amazing. Shout out to the owner who also serviced our table. Helping me cut the meats that was really appreciated. All food tasted delicious. Fresh meats, and seafood. Well seasoned highly recommend this place. I also have been here for sushi and that is another thing they do just right.

The kbbq was delicious and good quality. Staff are also hardworking! Kimchi is handmade by owner and it is so much better than storebought!

We come here almost once a week. The rolls are really good. If you like spice 911 is really good it has a mango habanero sauce, we also get the citrus salmon, and alternate between Autum roll, inn n out, or snow white.

This was a last minute choice for a Friday and it was the right choice! So bomb! The service, the food, the drinks...bomb!! We ordered spicy garlic edamame, Lion King roll, Special roll, dragon roll, and baked salmon..along side some margaritas. Can't say it enough, it was BOMB!!

Good food. Didn't like that all members of your group have to order AYCE if one member wants it. In order to prevent people from stealing. Location was nice. Next to the police station

I love Zip Fusion! One can sit in the KBBQ section and order a la carte as well as sushi. Once we had a big party and we were able to sit close to one another where one set ordered the all you can eat KBBQ while the other party at the table near by bought sushi and a few a la carte KBBQ. The service is really good and we like the wood pieces used in the wall decorations. They give kids free lollipop choices at the end which is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place!

Came here on a Saturday night with family...about 10 of us. Luckily they had an area available when we arrived since we didn't have a reservation. The place seems to be bigger inside that it looks from the outside. We primarily ordered sushi. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. I had the yellow tail delight roll and I highly recommend it! Spicy tuna inside with avocado, cucumber and the yellow tail sits on top with a slice of jalapeno. My husband had the beef bulgogi bowl and loved it. The service was a bit slow in the beginning but once they got going, they were attentive.

Reese, Austin, Kim were amazing. First time trying this restaurant while visiting family. I love KBBQ so I have high expectations. There were additional staff helping but loved seeing how everyone worked together to help each table. There was also a mishap on my end and the owner helped resolve it without making a huge issue out of it. All the meat options were so tasty and I had no complaints. Relaxed vibe and the layout is very open. Thank you all for your level of service.

The food here is amazing and so are the workers but the owner Ms.Kim is not... we are regulars who have come weekly and we came for ALL YOU CAN EAT KBBQ and was told we were not allowed to order more meat... because there was no way we could eat this much... really put a bad taste in my mouth. We came last week and she was giving free shots to other regulars that were here.....

You will not believe what the owner said to me!! "Don't get upset, Dont argue with me." "Thats my rule." When I calmly asked for clarification about an unjust charge for a small amount of understandable leftovers, the owner, who is an older Asian woman, responded with aggression and a condescending attitude:"Don't get upset. Don't argue with me. That's my rule." Storming off right after, she completely ignored us asking her to come back. This level of disrespect and immaturity is shocking and unacceptable, especially from the owner. Our receipt shows that the three of us ordered a moderate and reasonable number of plates. Attached is a photo of the supposed "leftovers." To our surprise, items classified as leftovers included shrimp shells, heads, and inedible pieces, others being unchewable tendon. Adding insult to injury, the shrimp heads were visibly black even after being cooked, a clear indication of poor freshness and quality. Despite this, they were eaten during the meal since we tend to avoid leaving leftovers in general. After seeing other customer complaints about similar experiences with the owner, one thing is clear... We will never be returning to this restaurant.

Sushi is fresh, well prepared and reasonable. The selection is outstanding. The service we have had from Brian and Gary has been excellent.

Let me just say that the customer service is amazing. They are so attentive and you don't feel overwhelmed. The owner makes the kimchi and it's the best in town. It's a great atmosphere and great food.

Tried the AYCE KBBQ, a bit pricey but worth it! Staff is very nice and attentive. The meat was high quality and so were the sides!

Food was excellent! Sushi was fresh and the avocado on the rolls was perfect! Spicy tuna crispy rice was the best I've had in the area and the Korean ramen was very comforting and tasty. Amazing service as well. Definitely a regular visit for sure!

Amazing went here for a birthday dinner for my girlfriend and it's still the same yummy sushi the the edamame Mama style is fire, it was great to see The Owner Ann always so welcoming to us:)

We used to be regulars at Zip, going in almost weekly for KBBQ. We would bring friends and family to our (used to be) go to spot. That loyalty apparently means nothing now. Recently, we were told that no matter how large the party or how much we order, we're only allowed two egg pots or tofu soups. Why? Because of egg prices. That's right, even if you drop several hundred dollars on one of their expensive combos for large parties, you still get rationed like it's the apocalypse. I could understand limiting extras for a small group asking for five servings each, but a party of eight asking for three? That's completely reasonable, especially considering that these sides are traditionally unlimited at Korean BBQ spots. Annoying? Yes. Understandable? Maybe. But today was the final straw. I went with one other person. Just two of us. Still, we ordered the combo, enough food for four, because we wanted to enjoy dinner and take leftovers home. When I asked for a few takeout boxes to split our leftovers, the owner snapped NO and she'd only give me two. I explained we had a lot of meat and I wanted to keep the sides separate. She walked away. I tried asking the server for ONE small side dish box to pack the sides (and I'd have to mix all the sides at that). His response? "Sorry, the owner told me not to give you any boxes." Are. You. Serious? You're really going to lose a loyal customer over a to-go box? We're done. No more Zip for me or my family. Mrs. Kim is rude and disrespectful to her employees and customers alike, and that kind of attitude will shut those doors faster than the rising cost of eggs and take out containers ever could. Hope saving a few bucks on those containers makes you happy while you watch your customers walk out for good.

Food is amazing service is amazing! My family and I have been enjoying Zip for years and hope they are here for years to come

We found this place via google on our way home after a long day at Universal Studios on January 2, 2025. We were a large group of kids, teens and adults. We were very grateful they were able to accommodate our big group. Not only that, but the service was amazing. Food was amazing. Looking forward to going back there again. This place is a must!!

OK, we had the best freaking time here! My honey and I wanted to get a quick bite and drink before the movies, so we walked into Zip! They have a full bar. And the food was delicious! We met the owner of Kim, she was the sweetest lady! She makes all the sauces from scratch. Definitely gonna be a regular here! Thank you guys see ya soon!

The place gets 3.25 stars because of THE GREAT SERVICE. The staff was amazing. The ambience is definitely a modern gastropub. Great place to gather and watch events with adult beverages. They have a full service bar too! Loving the concept of offering both KBBQ and Sushi. Note: it is not AYCE! The proportions are generous. The accompanying side dishes for the KBBQ we're a meal in itself. However, the purpose and soul of the restaurant is the flavor and deliciousness of the food. Unfortunately, this is why the restaurant is only getting 3.5 stars. The KBBQ tasted like it was taken out of a package and dipped into water downed soy sauce. I tried adding more flavors with the side sauces and garlic butter. Sadly, it did not help improve the taste. We have a sense that the server overheard us, because Ryan brought us salt and pepper. The sushi rolls were good maybe a 3.5-4. The mussels were the best tasting item. The atmosphere, ambience and physical appearance were beautiful. The service was great, but the food was mediocre. We aren't sure if we will come back anytime soon.

I'm just amazed by a lady who is running around yelling at her employees. I don't have to ask because I know she has to be the owner. I was stressful just being there and having one server for too many tables. The service was horrible and the chicken ramen was just as bad. The hot tea was served cold and ask for new hot tea and never got it. And for the teriyaki chicken plate, they drowned the chicken in teriyaki sauce. I do not recommend this place. Never again!!!!!

My family has frequented this sushi restaurant for years. It is hands down our favorite sushi restaurant. The food is always fresh and the environment is very welcoming. Ann has treated us like family. There are a lot of regulars who have come over the years. They do tend to be most busy on Fridays so if you don't want to wait to be seated too long, other days may be better. We continue to invite friends and family here and they love it! Great team too!

I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews, but I had a pretty disappointing experience here. I went in for the AYCE lunch special, which I found out they no longer offer. Instead, I was presented with a new option: four rolls for $60. I understand that prices are going up and times are tough, but that price point didn't sit well with me, so I decided to go for the pick-four lunch special for $26. I typically order edamame as a side, but I was shocked to see it priced at $8.50. When my rolls arrived, I was further disappointed by their size and portioning. My Philly roll had only a thin slice of salmon and was overloaded with cream cheese. While it was nice that the rice wasn't excessively thick, the rice that was there was undercooked, hard, and lacked flavor. As someone who's ok with grocery store sushi, I came here expecting a better experience and service. Sadly, it felt like the portions were shrinking while the prices kept rising. In hindsight, I would have been better off sticking with the grocery store sushi. Service was great though!

When we started dating months ago, we took a chance and tried it to go to movies. There is plenty of parking. Second date here. We always come back not just for nostalgia but the sushi is delicious and we enjoy it every time. The baked rolls are delicious. The sushi chefs are always nice. Everything is fresh and comes out quickly.

Back again, sadly manager Kevin did not allow me to us the 10% off total purchase coupon. Stated that they no longer accept them off Yelp. Do not bother using. We had a $97 tab and ordered off the menu, no happy hour, no all you can etc... Food is always good, customer service is always good. Will come again.

I been coming here for a few times. One of the last times when I brought my dad for his birthday here we asked for 2 tables next to each other for our group since the grills are small for 2 families. At first the waiter said sure. Then another waiter said she would ask her "boss". The "boss" came where we were waiting in the lobby and my wife asked her if we could get two tables and this "boss" said NO and turned around and left walking and didn't care to explain anything. The waiter asked if we would stay or leave. What kind of customer service is this?? Till this day that hit my nerve. Customer service is meh. They take too long to bring your food out 5-10 minutes. The food itself my wife likes it. If you need a refill or a condiment you need to keep asking for it. Sometimes the waiters skip your table. They'll see your cup empty or grill empty and keep walking away. Over all it's ok. It's not the cheapest either.

I have been coming to zip for years and I will continue to do so!! I absolutely love this restaurant and it is the only place I will get sushi from. The ingredients are always so fresh and the presentation never disappoints. The service is always fantastic and the employees really know how to make every meal truly something to remember. There was a rude server named Miranda that no longer works there, Thank God!! I recommend that anyone who is craving amazing sushi or Korean cuisine to try Zip!!

Great place to eat if you want quality food for a good price. The employees and owner are the nicest people ever. Would definitely recommend.

The food was mediocre for a sushi and KBBQ establishment. The service was not good. We had to keep on stopping different waitress and waiters because our waitress disappeared after taking our order. The owner lacks professionalism and customer service. I asked the owner a simple question about an item on the bill and she walked away mid sentence. In addition, I really feel bad for the waiters and waitress who works for such tyrant owner because she openly yells at them and shows her frustration with her staff in front of customers.

I'm not sure about this place. Only reason I gave 3 stars, is because our waiter was so nice. Food portions are okay, ambiance is lonely, we were the only ones there. The food didn't taste very good, and it took forever to cook. I think I may need to try it out again, but $180 was a lot....I don't know if I'll be back.

Absolutely love this place! The food is phenomenal especially the yellow tail coller which is my favorite!!! The staff is always so nice and always welcoming!

Can a negative number of stars be given?! Overpriced, HORRIBLE SERVICE, below par tasting food, and a beyond too LONG of a wait not only to be seated but for EVERY SINGLE ROUND OF MEAT on the Korean BBQ. I will NEVER come back here and I think you should head over to Shogun for a delicious meal or even McDonalds for a better lunch or dinner. I'd even venture to say Taco Bell is a better experience. The only recommendable part of this meal was the garlic edamame.

Miss Kim/Anne is the rudest, most unprofessional owner!! She yells at all of her employees and tells them they better not talk to customers or recommend food. I exchanged a roll that tasted really bad and when I asked the owner what she recommends, she said she will not recommend anything since we didn't like her food and that we can leave her restaurant. We spent $200!! She screams at customers and employees in front of the entire restaurant. Such an uncomfortable and toxic environment. I saw her nudge an employee for talking to a customer. Worst food/service ever!!

Here for the 4th or 5th time in recent months. I don't understand why this place doesn't have a 5* rating. Great food. Great service. Only eaten the sushi side though. Maybe I'm missing something on the KBBQ side? Been great every time so far. Will keep coming back.

This is my favorite place to go for sushi or Korean BBQ. Friendly, attentive staff, and the food here is consistently delicious with generous portions. The setting is casual but comfortable. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Was here again last Friday night. It's always busy fridays and Saturday but the place is lively, fun and DELICIOUS! There's always haters on these reviews and they never have anything to say but something negative. Zip sushi in Eastvale is the best! The owner is hilarious, energetic, hardest working and very generous when you get to know her. She demands alot from her staff, but her staff is excellent. Reese, Austin, Brian, Zoey, Gio (and I know I'm missing a few, I apologize), are ALL super friendly and fun to be waited upon! They work their butts off as well, so don't be cheap, tip them accordingly! The sushi chefs are spectacular and really can create some "gorgeous" and tasty dishes if you just ask them. I found that they'll make you pretty much anything you want or crave. I highly recommend Zip!

I am a single mom who came to enjoy some kbb with my almost 2 year old. I was seated & then told by the server I had to pay for 2 ppl if I did all you can eat or pay for minimum of 2 a la carte plates. I said thank you & left. I love this place & their food, just unfortunate that I would have to pay for 2 adults or pay for multiple a la carte plates. Guess our business isn't good enough ‍

Showed up on Valentine's Day, pretty busy night with about a 25 minute wait. Walked in and waited to put my name down. Another woman walks in and gets greeted immediately and gets "vip" by some rude server and sat down immediately . Unacceptable. Everyone should get the same wait time no matter if you know the person or not. Really should consider talking to the tall Hispanic man who works there about being rude in customers faces.Anyways go to Pho Viet next door, I was actually greeted and happy to wait the 7 minutes (also a full house).

I'm super torn about this review because the sushi & rest of the food was good, but it just wasn't memorable. If you need a quick fix, this place can do the trick. Want a roll or 2? This place is good for it. But if I'm doing a nice outing, wanting a great ambiance and experience, I would probably go elsewhere. I came to this location 2 separate occasions and my experience was fair. The sashimi was good, miso soup, and sushi rolls were also good. Something in me just keep feeling "FAIR" and not "WOW". I'm giving 4 stars (otherwise it would be a 3) because the service was very good & price was also affordable for the quality!

Loved this place! It's very cozy, clean and not loud and Smokey as other kbbq places. The lovely owner and chef personally came to prep our grill and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was fine. The meats here were SO tasty compared to other all you can eat places. Definitely my new go to place!

Best sushi in town. Has some of the freshest fish I've had any sushi place and they have a ton of rolls to choose from. The kbbq is amazing and very fun to do on a night out. Kbbq comes with a ton of amazing fresh sides I loved the cucumbers, and the meats are amazing and steaks for kbbq are huge my boyfriend and I got the New York steaks and they were amazing and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend for sushi lovers and those who love kbbq

They are pretty pricey compared to other sushi spots and are really nothing special taste wise. Food came out fast and will fulfill a sushi craving but it's nothing I'd go out of my way for.

A wonderful experience. Great fresh sushi. Huge variety of choices. The best part is that they have pictures of every roll on the menu which makes it easier for you to pick what you like. We were 10 people and got a bunch of rolls. My favorite is the Mexican roll since it had Jalapeño on each bite. I highly recommend this place if you've never tried it and you n the mood for good Sushi. Service was great as well.

Great food, excellent service, and Great Ambience. The only part I was not happy about was that the server included the 20% gratuity, and there were only two people. I should make the decision based on my experience and should not be included with any choice. I like to tip, but I wouldn't say I liked that it was added with no choice.

Came into Zip for their sushi today with my boyfriend and our friend who recently came back from out of state. The servers greeted us when we walked in and seated us pretty quickly. We were at the bar since we wanted to drink as well. So far it was going smoothly. The sushi tasted amazing! It was really fresh and the size of the sushi rolls was a perfect size. Not too big and didn't fall apart like most places for sushi. The yellowtail toro nigiri was buttery and soft. It tasted immaculate. We ordered a hefty amount of appetizers and they were all very good. Personally I don't like baked mussels anywhere, at any sushi spot I have been to, I've never liked it. My boyfriend and his friend liked it though. It's all preference to be honest. The batter on the tempura was very tasty and crispy! Definitely recommend if you want something fried. If you like spicy, ask for a side of their 911 sauce. I dipped my tempura a couple of times and it definitely has a kick to it. Will come back next time to try the kbbq they have also

We would come here occasionally for years. They added KBBQ. We went here one weekend. The service is okay. They did not know what to recommend and they forgot our ginger and wasabi. We recommend sitting at the bar instead of the tables. We ordered the deluxe sashimi for three people. It was a good amount but we wished there was tako/octopus. We ordered the diablo/dynamite roll and it was our favorite roll out of what we ordered. We also ordered cajun asian roll and a spicy roll. Overall, the rolls that we ordered were OK. We have definitely had better experiences at other sushi restaurants but this is close by and convenient.

I just ate here tonight with my cousin and we had a great experience! It's my first time here and the service was very very good! Super friendly service and they're constantly checking on you! The atmosphere of the place is definitely a sit down atmosphere even though the layout is a little weird lol. You can see the sushi bar and there's a small bar included as well. In the back you can see the bigger tables and stove tops so I think it's cool they have all this available to the customer! The food was actually very good! The sushi roll was a big size! And the salmon sashimi was very fresh and good! The rolls came out in a timely manner and I'm leaving super stuffed and satisfied! I will be back! :)

There was a HUGE FLY in the food! Enough said. It absolutely disgusted me. First, it was quite empty, yet they took forever to attend to us. Next, our salad had a dead marinated horse fly at the bottom of the bowl. The ice tea tasted like dirty tap water. I don't recommend this place at all. I will say that after finding the fly and reporting it, they let us leave without charging us. We had only started eating the side dishes and the meat was cooking.
