We were in the area and decided to stop for lunch. The parking lots were all very busy mid-day and we had to wait until someone left to pull into a space.
Inside the restaurant is very spare and basic. You order and pay at the counter, and they bring your food to you at the table you've chosen. There's a lot of Spanish being spoken.
We decided to share their sampler which was a choice of three tacos along with a side. We each chose one of for us alone and one to share. He got the lamb chorizo one. It was ground lamb with onion, mint, and cilantro. I got their grilled shrimp. It also had shredded cabbage, , guacamole, and cilantro. I chose to have the chipotle aioli on the side. I really liked my taco. To share, we went with the birria. This was very tender shredded beef, cheese, onion, and cilantro. It was a bit messy and drippy, but very good. I never even needed to dip it in the side "sauce" that it came with.
The side was esquite salad. A pasta salad with corn and other veggies like small pieces of green and red peppers. There was more pasta than anything else. This was just okay. They had a number of Mexican sodas to drinks in various flavors, agua fresca, and horchata. They had a bar there also on the side of the room with "adult" beverages, but it didn't open until the evening.
My favorite of the things we had? My shrimp taco. Prices were fairly reasonable. And food came out pretty fast considering that they were very busy.
