Find the Best Liquor Stores in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"Boasting a massive bourbon and single-malt scotch selection, Zipps is a go-to for finding the right bottle to pour for a great Old Fashioned or Rob Roy. It also features a strong selection of bitter amaros, one of the cornerstone foundations of the modern cocktail movement, and these are on special through the month of February. Both curbside pickup and delivery are available." - Eben Stine

Google
Fantastic selection of craft beers. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Value is better than most. I wish I had a liquor store like Zipp's in my neighborhood.

Google
I can’t say enough good things about this place!! I have been a regular there for the past year and a half since moving to the area and have no reason to wish to go anywhere else. The staff regularly provide excellent guidance when I’m looking for something new to try. All of the cashiers are very nice and personable. I have had especially great experiences with a woman who was very knowledgeable in tequila and talks as if she is a manager/owner. Their loyalty program is another highlight for me

Google
The customer service here is truly exceptional, always attentive and reassuring. I feel secure knowing that the security team is readily available, making the atmosphere even more comfortable. Plus, there's a charming café right next door where I can grab my morning coffee. I like to joke about mischievously adding a splash of vodka to my cup—definitely not something I would actually do! It’s all in good fun, though; the thought of it makes me laugh! 😂

I love this liquor store. Such a great variety of alcohol and wine. The customer service was nice and welcoming and the parking lot is also a benefit. This place will definitely become my go to spot. I also enjoyed the wine recommendations.

Google
Zipps is one of the spots, for sure. Some of the best prices in town. They offer single items, which normally only come in 4 or more packs at other liquor stores. I have been able to try lots of unique things this way without the commitment of buying a pack of them that I might not like. They have a neat flavor profile system with different colored dots that tells you what kind of beer you're buying. That is excellent when looking for something new. They have a rewards program you can opt into with getting your ID scanned. Friendly staff, to boot! Highly recommend checking out this spot.

Google
Zipps is a neighborhood institution that I've shopped at for many, many years. They have an amazing selection and the best prices, not to mention extremely kind and helpful employees! My favorite liquor store by far!

Google
I like this store very much. Everyone is friendly and happy, except one person who was very bad. I don't know her name, but she yelled at me, and I didn't understand why. After I paid, she held my items and called the manager. Still, I like the store—don't take me wrong. There are nice and beautiful people here. Please address this issue.

Google
This is a place for the few who really like/understand alcoholic beverages. Samples , sales, deals, good prices, good selection, nostalgic beer cans, local classics. They are all here, come grab a beer!

Yelp
Have been here twice. The first time on a recommendation from Surly brewing as the best place to purchase Minnesota micro brews. Was not disappointed hence the second visit. Great, great selection of Minnesota beers. Certainly our go to place!

Yelp
I love Zipps! Fantastic selection of beer, wine, non alcoholic drinks and liquor with great prices. My husband can get a 12 pack of local, hand crafted beer for only $6! Amazing. I love that they have a loyalty program too. It really does pay off if you use them as your primary liquor store. The parking lot is kind of tight and small, but the friendly staff and great prices are worth it (also, more people should just use public transit or walk and bike).
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic selection of beer and spirits. The single can selection of beer it's one of the best on the cities ranging from macros to some of the hardest to get beers. Their whiskey picks are top notch and have a wide range of import beers. Highly recommend if ever needing some libations to go.

Yelp
Pretty good place with a very nice selection of wine and craft beers, also some friendly staff but they are hit or miss on their knowledge of what's in store. Their wine section is hard to beat, and they have a huge soju section. Im also fond of the huge 24 pack coors lite 16 ouncer cases. Overall their prices are on par or better than a lot of the other places nearby, so I tend to make this my first stop if we are having a party or a snowed in weekend. They have a loyalty program too but you have to spend a bunch over time to get any money off.

Yelp
Don't use for important events or reserving kegs! Disorganized and not willing to make things right. Reserved two kegs for our wedding a month before the wedding. The Friday before the weekend of our wedding called to confirm that the kegs were available and would be chilled. They confirmed both. Day of the wedding when my brother went to pick them up they didn't have one of the kegs. When asked for a refund all I got was a story about how this happened to another wedding in the same month! Yikes! Will never shop here again.

Caitlin M.

Yelp
Got a keg from there and it was easy to get - just called and reserved it a week before then they helped me put it in my car. When i came back 2 days later to return the keg everyone in the store was really mean to me for no reason, just because we didn't finish the keg. I didn't think it was that big of a deal but all the employees made comments about it which made me feel really bad. I don't see why it matters- i paid for the beer and returned everything in good shape. It's hamms; its not like we could have used it to feed the hungry- its a very cheap party beer. Are we in high school? Not to be that person but I won't be back to zipps; it was all just very uncool and unnecessary.

Yelp
Great store! Never been there before and stopped by last Sunday, great liquors! Will revisit again!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this locally run family business! They were so helpful, friendly, professional and real and helped me so quickly! I was able to get kegs delivered to our location he next day! Jennifer was super helpful and very informative not to mention a hoot! I could hang out with that lady! I'm so glad we found an excellent source for kegs for parties!

Yelp
My go to liquor store in South Minneapolis! A wide selection of spirits, wine and craft beer. Their staff is always ready with a good suggestion or to help find that perfect accompaniment to a dish. They have brought in multiple items when I have asked making it easy to get what I want. I love their loyalty program as I earn point for my purchases to get free stuff!

Yelp
Friday was my last day at Zipps Liquor store. I turned the drama up on a normal issue to give myself an out because of an event that happened earlier that day. What happened was a very suddenly forced and sudden meeting with one of the owners about why Zipps isn't participating in the Jj Taylor strike. I was informed that only 2 businesses are taking a stance with the truck drives in the strike and they are still accepting Jj products. But, for the way it was brought up I feel like it was a condescending view on the businesses that vocally sided with the workers. I was also told the Zipps is to mention a neutral stance in all political subjects because "we need everyone to feel comfortable shopping here". And, the manager specifically said - without any prompt - "people that are for or against abortion". With something as extreme as abortion being brought up as a subject, that would lead my train of thought to Zipps being comfortable with people in hate groups shopping there. The real slap in the face was after all this that manager demanded that if a customer asks about the strike is that I reply "I don't know. Please ask the manager." How dare the employment class demand I speak on their behalf for their benefit. Zipps wants everyone to do the position they applied for and be housekeeping and security. Those are 2 completely different positions that we are forced to do without previous explaination to the positions with proper consent and are not being paid any extra for those other duties. As a cashier, I was only starting at $10 /hr with only a .50¢ increase after 90 days, but no other set raises after that. I was told by a former employee that they make raises hard to get and a person has to show major devotion to get a raise after that. Time being their after those first 90 days does not make a raise stable. Zipps Liquor of Mlps MN is a crime against workers! This is why all jobs need unions! There's no such thing as being neutral! Everyone should do the job they have signed up and agreed to do, and nothing more. Security is a different position from the other jobs, so that should be it's own person. People should be paid a living wage, and if Zipps can't afford to they shouldn't be in business.

Yelp
First of all, yay for any beer and liquor store with a huge PRB mural on the front of it. Second, big store, big selection. Like, impressively big. Zipps has a really good variety of local beers, more exotic items from breweries around the country and your basics for your PBR tallboy 24 pack kind of night. They had cold and not cold options. I also really enjoyed their large selection of single bottles (kind of spread throughout the stores in various areas) that allow you the mix-n-match sampler type option if you are feeling indecisive. Staff was friendly and super helpful. In fact, when we asked them about a particular beer, they were up front in saying that they had sold out but then told us about another store that they believed still had some. Indeed, when we called the second store, they did. We really appreciated the tip and the effort to help us find what we needed even if they couldn't sell it to us themselves. Just for that, we will come back and patronize this store at our earliest opportunity.

Yelp
The prices are the going rate which is a little high but can anyone imagine the quantity of product they need to sell just to pay the property taxes? I know the guy on lake street as of a few years ago was paying more than $30,000 a year. Ouch! I could go to total wine and save a few bucks but I much prefer to spend on local businesses
google avatar

Yelp
Pick your six HERE. Tremendous local selection, all recently brewed. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good prices. Easy parking. Who could ask for more?

Yelp
I've been coming to zipps since it was a little hole in the wall liquor store about 25 years ago. I've worked not far away since then, and I found their selection and their prices and their staff to always be excellent. It's a liquor store I recommend if people need kegs or hard to find items. And now that they have a rewards program program that requires no effort on a customer it's gotten even better, which I never thought would be possible.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
They have the best expired beer bucket around, $5 for a six pack of choose your own expired beer. But don't spread it around, I don't everyone dipping into my beer stash. I consider myself to have good taste in beer, but considering that all the beer I drink is expired, my taste buds might be a bit off the mark. Their tastings are off the charts, they are free, informative, and friendly. I consider it the best part of a night out on the town. The selection is off course the best around, especially the number of single 12oz beers you can buy. And I find the employees sufficiently authentic without being surly. A good balance for liquor store employees, who have to deal with a lot of crap by people drunk and looking to get drunk. I like the sign at the cash register that reads - "I find your lack of ID disturbing."
google avatar

Cindy T.

Yelp
Hip hip for Zipp's! Hands down the best liquor store in Mpls! Craft beers here gone wild For your inner drinking child Like, 15-20 pumpkin beers thru October?! Shit, I need to get sober.
google avatar

Nathan K.

Yelp
Literally the best liquor store in the cities. They always have a tone of cool people working that have way too much knowledge and they are willing to sample a lot of stuff.
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
My wife plays soccer at Augsburg College on Saturday mornings so I drop her off and look forward for an awesome 30 minutes just strolling the aisles of Zipp's. Not the best neighborhood ever, but when you get inside, it is worth it. They have a great "Make your own six pack" selection and have a lot of different sakes. Tons of hard liquor if that's your deal and a lot of boxed wine. It looks like they have a lot of different wines, but I am a beer guy and they have an awesome selection. From crud to good at all different prices. Plus the cashiers are very unique, most have tattoos all over their body, but they are usually super cool every time I have gone.
google avatar

Yelp
Zipp's used to be one of my go to liqour stores back when I lived on the hipper side of the river, but even though I'm now a St. Paulite I still make the trek back about once a month for one reason - they have one of the better selections and definitely the best prices for kegs I've found in the metro area. Their keg selection is available online and extra props to Zipp's for at least making an effort to have a decent variety of 5 gallon kegs available for us folks that want some variety in our kegerators, but are too stingy (or not big enough drunks) to give up the refrigerated real estate required for a quarter or half barrel. They have a good selection of craft and microbrews and booze, are lax with their keg return policies if you're exchanging your old one for a new one and I'm fairly certain they also have a CO2 exchange for you fellow kegeratorers out there. As I mentioned prices are reasonable, service is always friendly enough - plus they had Hieroglyphics playing in the background last time I was there - aces in my book.

Emily D.

Yelp
The girl at the register was on day 6 of working as she mentioned many times, which was definitely showing. Attitude was poor.

John I.

Yelp
Excellent service and great selection. Was looking to buy some peach crown and they had it in stock. Their are price on cognac was very good - wine selection was excellent. And one of the clerks brought everything out to my car and put in the trunk for me.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down my favorite liquor store in the neighborhood, and probably all of the Twin Cities. Huge craft beer selection, and you can buy individual bottles. Solid wine and liquor selection as well. For me, this store could definitely compete with a place like Surdkys or Total Wine when it comes to selection, except the vibe here is much better. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. They have local breweries and distilleries here often doing samples. And now they have a rewards program -- double points on Sunday! The parking lot can be a bit chaotic, but it's worth it.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
Zipps is the easy go-to place for keg buying. They have A LOT of kinds of kegs and goodish prices. The parking lot is an accident wasteland, so be careful loading up your keg or you might smash a car/get smashed by a cart/vehicle. The wine staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The check out process is a little bit kooky, and the store itself is not exactly centrally located. But for their sales and kegs, it is definitely worth the trip down Franklin if you don't live in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Molly W.

Yelp
Good selection and prices. Staff can be a little in-your-face at times but you're never short of advice. Could use a better selection of mixers, but if you're just looking for all teh booze hit them up!
google avatar

Kristi W.

Yelp
Pros: Impressive selection of wines/beers/spirits Clean Prices good Staff available and helpful Cons: Location/Location/Location - I am not a local so can not speak specifically about this particular area of town BUT, it was clear at check out that this seemed to be the local hub for the resident homeless to purchase their 5th of vodka or other poison of choice for their evening consumption. I was surprised to see so many filing through. Second - having the local homeless digging in the trash, that was located right by the front door, was also a bit disconcerting. Their was a sandwich shop next door, wasn't sure if I should offer to get him a sandwich, or if he was digging for recyclables, or choose option C, leave as quickly as possible as it did have a bit of a questionable crowd. I felt safe enough going in as it was dusk, but I would have avoided if it has been at nightfall.
google avatar

Yelp
Easily my favorite liquor store in town (sorry Surdyk's), Zipp's is a true friend to the people. A great selection of just about everything, a helpful staff, and prices that won't flatten your asspocket. Plus, they have cute little shopping carts to put your booze in. You can't get a DUI driving one of those! Everytime I go here they seem to have a great deal on something I love drinking (i.e. Alcohol). If you need help picking out a cheap wine to go with your black eye, the knowledgeable staff at Zipp's will get you the medicine you need to get back on the streets and brown baggin' in no time. As mentioned previously, the parking lot is a deathtrap if you go here at the wrong times so make sure to get there earlier than later on weekends. They have a fairly robust sake selection if you are so inclined and I even noticed that they carry exotic N/A selections for those crazy perverts that want the taste of beer but... none of the TASTE of beer. EXPERT TIP: Water is free.
google avatar

Kris H.

Yelp
Zipp's is one of my most favoritest places ever! There is a very famous and crowded competitor a little to the south that starts with an "S" that also has a good beer and wine selection -- it is hype! It is overrated! Zipp's is the real deal. 1 star for ample parking in a private lot and being easy to find (look for the giant "LIQUOR" sign and you will not go wrong) 1 star for having friendly staff and a clean store 1 star for having an amazing variety of wines from a large number of countries. Greek white wine? Check. South African rosé? Check. Chile, Hungary, Australia? Yes, yes, yes. Sake and plum wines from Japan, also check. 2 stars for having both the "old standbys" type of beer at decent prices and unique gourmet microbrews all in the same place. Want a giant case of Bud Light for cheap, fine. Want artisan imported chocolate stout, fine. They sell a watermelon beer, made from fermented watermelons. They sell smoked beer. They sell Hefe-Weisse. Skip that other place and go here!
google avatar

Kristen H.

Yelp
Scenes from Zipps #1 I walk in with my beer geek boyfriend and he asks the beer guy for some rare brew that the whole state got only a few cases of. They have it. Oh, and while we're there perhaps we would like to try some single barrel whiskey and other fancy liquors. Why yes, yes I would, thank you. Meanwhile the boy picks up a variety of specialty beers that make him very happy. Scenes from Zipps #2 I wander into the wine section looking for something for dinner. My wine knowledged is poor so I'm thinking "well, it's fish, so...ummm...white?" The wine guy asks what I'm having - salmon and sweet potato frittata - and points me to a German pinot noir. I'm not sure I knew Germans even made red wine. I get home. It's good. I go back multiple times to buy more. My point is this - whether you know what you're there for or not, the folks at Zipps likely have just what you're looking for and are knowledgeable enough to provide you with any help you may need. They may not have the biggest selection in town, but what they have is quality and their prices are more than fair. Love it.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Zipp's rocks. I got a keg here last weekend (I'm young! Judge me!) and it was by far the easiest process I've dealt with yet. I'm looking at you, liquor stores in Dinkytown. The transaction was quick, the service was great, they bring the keg to your car, and you have a full week to return it, if things like life get in the way. That happens, and when it does you just might need another keg. Add in a good looking beer and liquor selection (the place is big!) and some hefty deals, and this guy is sold. I might be making detours here more often.

Yelp
Hands down my new favorite liquor store. Why? I had just finished a grueling Final exam for b-school. Mrs. G takes a day and a half to finish hers so I went to Zipp's to find a decent bottle of scotch for poker night. I got there....and oh my god, there was a Scotch/Bourbon/Whisky tasting going on. It's like Shaq shazaamed me and granted me a wish. Now I love scotch but it's not easy to go tasting $30 - $80 bottles. At this tasting, there were four distributors and I sampled over 10 different types. I ended up buying Basil Hayden's Bourbon, smooth and beautiful, as well as my first bourbon. Thursday nights everyone. They've got sake, beer, liquor tastings almost every week. Winning.
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
Zipp's has a really good wine selection even though I'm more into micro and craft beers. I just like this business because it's small and unassuming. Sometimes I need a nice wine and I find some nice unique craft beers here too. They have a very good and limited selection of many wines that are put out in very small amounts. They also carry some hard to find wines from non traditional and unusual parts of the world. They have a web e-list you can subscribe to that will tell you what's in stock that's different . The people that work here are very happy to help with any of your beverage needs. It's a small store that prides itself on quality. I recommend them highly.
google avatar

Guya I.

Yelp
Not very happy with Zipps..they booted Furthermore beer out of the cooler to make room for a California Beer.... Obviously the California Beer gave more advertising money. Furthermore beer is awesome and deserves the space and people should not have to buy it warm!! Mad at Zipps.
google avatar

Annie D.

Yelp
Good job at being a liquor store, Zipps! I don't make it here often, but I think it's the closest quality liquor store for me. There are other liquor stores in my neighborhood that are more convenient, even though they have practically nothing interesting to sell. Zipp's, on the other hand, has all kinds of cool beer and wine I'd like to try. With their single-bottle policies, I can make myself a sampler pack! Their selection is better than a standard liquor store... and cheaper. I'm not sure how they do it, to be honest. And they have parking, which is a plus for the neighborhood. In my limited keg-buying experience, their prices for kegs are the cheapest in the land. The staff is helpful and will lug the kegs out to your car for you, complete with a tap, tub and ice. They also usually have something on sale, so always ask what barrels are on special.
google avatar

Reyna J.

Yelp
Largest selection of Mezcal and Aquavit I've ever seen! Every employee was extremely helpful and friendly - this is my new Minneapolis liquor stop.
google avatar

Ralph M.

Yelp
Good prices, good selection of beer (I especially like the random single beer sections). I was quickly reminded that I should spend a lot more time and money buying microbews and trappist ales. The liquor selection was not Surdyk's good, but certainly more than adequate. At one point I flagged down an employee to confirm, which he did, that the 3/4 liter bottle of Maker's did in fact cost the same as the 1 liter bottle. Maybe that was designed as an intelligence test. I didn't really look at the wine selection, but from afar it looked frightening. Browsing for wine is usually mysterious enough (never the same wines twice!), but their shelf tags were so densely arranged I'm not sure I could of stood it for more than a few minutes. But let's be honest: what do I know about wine anyway? The staff were nice and helpful. When I asked the checkout guy about Capital Beers, he knew what I was talking about and what they had. The parking lot had a good collection of homeless people, which seemed about right for an early afternoon liquor store visit. All in all, a fine liquor store.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
XOXO Zipps Forever. I love this place! They not only have a great beer selection, they also have the cheapest kegs around, great tasting events, and fun "classes". In general, their prices are some of the lowest around, and the staff know their stuff. I'm not a wine connoisseur, so I can't speak to that too much. BUT, last week they had a big boxed wine tasting and it was awesome, because it opened my eyes to something I hadn't tried much of before! Strong liquor section, but its the beers that bring me back. They will randomly pull old stuff from the stock room, meaning you can get a 3 year old barleywine for $5. WHAT?! I bought 6. So, onto the classes. They are usually $10, and in their backroom. Which is also their breakroom. Its totally grungy, and I love it. They don't care. They just want you to learn about good beverages. I've done several, most of them being of the whiskey or bourbon type. Many varieties, many samples, lots of information. Actually worth the $10, for sure. Also, they make fun of shoplifters by posting their pictures. What's not to love about a place that does that?
google avatar

Megan K.

Yelp
This place is great for me, especially since I live right in the neighborhood. I can always count on good ol' Zipp's to supply myself with necessary party goods, new craft beers to try and the usual cheap bottle of Vodka (unless, of course, it's a Sunday). Their beer selection is pretty impressive, with every different kind of beer you could imagine: IPAs, lagers, stouts, porters, ales and ciders. We were able to bring home a bottle of Stone brewery's Arrogant Bastard Ale--yum! They are also well-endowed in the wine section. You can find some pretty top-notch wines right next to the big jugs of Carlo Rossi and Sutter Home. I'll be going to this store for as long as I'm living in the 'hood.

TheresNeverAPlan B.

Yelp
I love Zipps. I'll start by saying that I go here for craft beer. I know they have a selection of wine and liquor, but I'm not into that so this review is based solely on the beer selection. The craft beer selection is really good. Zipps is one of the three shops I hit when I'm searching for the latest greatest beer to hit town. Prices are pretty much the same as the other reputable shops around. Maybe a dollar more on this or that and a dollar less on other things. I don't understand beer pricing. The variety of beers is really good in the L shaped coolers and also on the warm shelves in the middle. Don't forget to check out the singles wall where you can make your own six pack. Good prices are had there too, not so gouge-y. Thumbs up, Zipps! Keep up the good work.

Yelp
Zipp's is a great place. They have a nice selection of everything and the beer guy is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. If you like lambics, this is the best place in the Cities to find them (though they aren't cheap). The prices are reasonable and it's a lot more laid-back than Surdyk's. They also have a tiny little dog sometimes. I don't know if it belongs to a worker or it lives in the neighborhood and visits sometimes. I've never gone looking for something specific there and been skunked. Last time it was Luxardo. I even found some overproof Wray and Nephew rum--they had Smith and Cross and Lemon Hart too.
google avatar

Josh C A.

Yelp
Full disclosure - this is my neighborhood liquor store and I am the mayor on othersquare. Zipp's is awesome. They have a fantastic selection of beer and liquor. The wine selection isn't half bad and the prices are reasonable. The two things that set Zipp's apart from the pack for me are their frequent tasting events and excellent staff. Don't let the occasionally sketch parking lot scare you off. This place is pure gold.
google avatar

Stuart S.

Yelp
My kind of liquor store. Very knowledgeable staff and a serious selection, neatly organized by category. It's worth going for their wine selection alone--there's an amazing inventory, and if you're not too familiar with wines, there are several people who can help you pick out a good one if you give them just a few criteria. Lots of things on sale, and you can find great wines for most budgets. It strikes me as a little funny to have such a great liquor store on a street that it is otherwise populated with halal establishments. Also, the store has a kind of punk vibe to it.
google avatar

Hannah T.

Yelp
Zipps will always be the best place to get kegs. If you need a keg Zipps will have it and it will be the best price you can find anywhere. They have a bunch of different sizes as well. Make sure to check out their list of the day to get the best deal. They have always had kegs, so there is no reason to call in early unless you are set on which one you get. Other than kegs, there is a fairly great selection of beer, with plenty of gluten free options for you celiac folks! The other liquors and wines have a little smaller selection, but there is always something interesting. The employees are cool, love booze, and are always willing to help you find that perfect drink of the night.

Yelp
Zipp's was the closest liquor store to campus. I remember many a late night run to pick up more beer and vodka, and to grab a sandwich next door at Big Mike's. Thankfully, both buildings are still standing, and I have friends in the area! Late night liquor and sammich runs will continue! :D Prices are reasonable, and they are always advertising in the City Pages with weekly specials. The parking lot is small and always hopping, but I've never had a problem getting a space. Of course, I usually walked there, so it was never really an issue.

Yelp
Huge selection of kegs, they allow you to reserve online and they are cheaper than most of the other places around town - that helps the pocketbook when you are throwing a partay!! Didn't really look around too much more as I probably won't drive there typically for a regular booze run, but seemed like they had a good selection and if the kegs are any indication - very good pricing!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best liquor stores in the metro in terms of quality, prices, selection and staff. Prices are fair with a lot of items consistently lower in price than competitors. The selection here is fantastic - if you've been searching for an obscure beer chances are you'll find it here... that and you'll probably leave with more items than you originally intended to purchase. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You don't get approached by staff in most liquor stores but I've always been offered assistance here. I wish Zipp's were closer to me, but it's worth the trek every time.

Yelp
This is an awesome liquor store. If you're from Minneapolis, you may not appreciate how awesome they are. Somehow they manage to stock a universe of booze from almost the bottom of the barrel of cheap hooch to very top shelf scotch all in one little storefront. Smokables are also found at the checkout line. A huge beer fridge in the back makes sure that your friends don't have to wait for the beer to cool when you arrive at your final destination.

Yelp
The only time in my life that I've actually bought a keg of beer was from this store. I was really surprised by how many different beers you can get in kegs here. Be advised though, those special kinds go fast. You need to call ahead and reserve them. I made that mistake myself. I wanted to get a keg of Shiner, but low and behold, when I went to go get it, it was gone. I wasn't left out in the cold though, I was able to get other brands that were just as good. Also, the people here were really cool too. They help you load up your car, which is nice, since being a small girl with no arm strength, cannot really lift a full keg by myself. Also the store is pretty good size. They have everything you will ever need in the alcohol department! I'd come here more often if I lived closer, but instead they are on my list as Number 1 to get kegs at...(if I ever need one again)!

Yelp
I came here for the beer selection and I was not disappointed. Mmm beer... They've got a great, big selection. I'm from Seattle so I loved seeing all the varieties that I can't get on the west coast. Also, they had a nice selection of single 12oz bottles so I could sample a bunch = A+. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. I'm gonna head back there for more beer. ;)

Yelp
What can I say a very good selection of what ever your drink is at a good price. This is a regular stop during our visit to MSP get wine.
