They have too few employees for a place this large, which makes their service quite slow when they bring out the food. The restaurant is quite large, so it can accommodate a great number of customers. The employees are very pleasant and helpful, though they really need to move a bit faster. This spot serves Hawaiian fast food. The quality is average, but you might enjoy it. If you order the chocolate brownie with ice cream, make sure to ask them to warm it up. Otherwise, you'll get a block of cement that you can barely cut with a spoon. The dream cake is decent.

The Korean Fried Chicken was excellent! The chili, macaroni salad and rice on that plate was also good. I suggest getting the chili with their cheese and onion option. The Zip Pac, however, had some flaws. Although the fish, Spam and beef were good, the bone-in chicken was tepid, dry and not good. The rice was also dry. Nice interior. This is a full blown sit down restaurant with a large dining room and good lighting, definitely not fast food. A fresh bakery is in the same building. Great friendly service, refilling our drinks several times. Simple interior with almost no decorations. While We were leaving, an employee was cleaning up our table and asked if everything was okay. I mentioned the chicken on my plate, and she offered to bring me another piece to go, which she did. Unfortunately, it was pretty much the same chicken that was on my plate.

What a wonderful experience, my server Julius was incredibly welcoming and informative, with great tact at guiding me through the menu, specials, and desserts. I was craving the Zip Pac Deluxe with extra chicken and he delivered with speed, articulation to my customization, and with frequent visits to ensure everything was good. The restaurant environment is warm, welcoming, and a great modern twist to diners, Hawaiian food, and a neighborhood restaurant for the family. My favorite thing they have, hands down, is the Orange Bang drink, which tastes like a melted orange creamsicle. The flavors are nostalgic, the service is fantastic, and the time spent here is worth repeating! How could I not enjoy the experience?! This was quite the treat and I look forward to returning soon!

UPDATE: My family and I visited again on 25 July 2025 and had the same outstanding service by this restaurant. The only difference is that we got to experience phenomenal service from Julius this time. I attached new photos from this visit to this review. Mahalo Nui Loa! 🤙🏽 ---------------------------------------- When I first heard of Zippy's opening a second location in Las Vegas, I was astonished because I didn't expect them to go that route so soon. I figured us locals would be stuck with only having just one Zippy's location for the unforeseeable future. However, after hearing where the second location was going to be, I was a little confused as to why they decided to build so close to the first location (Badura Ave). I just assumed there were more "island locals" on that part of the city so it was a strategic decision on their part? Regardless, I'm just annoyed because I wish they would've built one in the far Northwest part of the valley so I have one closer to my house. Also, since they're planning a third location in Henderson, it would make sense to cover three major points of the surrounding areas. But, I digress. My wife and I ate here on 21 Jun 2025 after I've been having that itch to eat a Zip Pac and Saimin. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't busy at all which is always appreciated when I'm starving. The décor was nice...pretty similar to the first location, but I noticed that this building is much smaller. The facility itself and especially the dining area was clean, as it always should be. The service that evening was great, mainly from the hostess (Dallas), and our main server, Jorddan (yes, with two D's). Jorddan was very attentive and friendly which made the entire experience much more pleasurable to dine here. Since there weren't as many customers dining at the time of our visit, I was happy that I could actually hear the music playing in the restaurant. I couldn't hear the music at the first location because with all the customers there, along with the music level being low...and honestly, I didn't even know music was playing while I dined at that location. We ordered the Zip Pac Deluxe (of course), Saimin, Korean Fried Chicken and Chili, and Apple Napple. Everything tasted fresh and extremely satisfying - I have zero complaints about the food quality and quantity. I have tried most things on their menu in my lifetime (both in Hawaii and in Las Vegas), so there's really nothing bad on their menu that I can recall. Heck, even their coffee and fruit punch were wonderful (yes, that was our drinks while we dined here). Overall, I loved my experience here as depicted in my 5-star rating. The prices are adequate, though, I have noticed a price increase from the previous years I've eaten here...but that's expected with everything increasing these days. And to be honest, if I can't afford to pay for things at a restaurant, then why would I even bother eating outside of my house (just saying). Also, the portions are not the typical "island style" grub where your plate has enough food to feed three people...but it's the right amount - and quite frankly, us Americans (and especially me) eat way too much anyways. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - I/we will be back soon!

I’ve always wanted to try Zippy’s, Hawaii’s famous diner, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet my expectations. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet, with the dessert showcase nearly empty and somewhat unkempt. As for the food, it was disappointing and lacked the quality I’ve come to expect from similar eateries. I ordered the Korean fried chicken, but it was nothing like what I’ve had at other places. It was overly salty and lacked flavor, which was quite underwhelming. Honestly, there are other Hawaiian restaurants that offer better value and more satisfying dishes for the same or lower prices. The only bright spot during our visit was our server, Jordan. She provided excellent service and genuinely made an effort to make our experience better, which I appreciated given the overall lack of food quality and atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend Zippy’s if you’re looking for a memorable Hawaiian dining experience. There are better options out there that deliver on both flavor and ambiance.

We stopped by for the first time for some lunch. We were greeted right away and felt very welcomed. They sat us and tended to us right away. Our waitress, Trish, was super attentive and very friendly and helpful. We loved her cheerful attitude. We had the Korean fried chicken plate, the beef teriyaki plate, the fried noodles and a spam musabi. Everything came out hot and delicious! We were too full to try the desserts but they all looked super yummy. Maybe next time! Can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Located on Hualapai near Flamingo. You can either order takeout or dine in. Just scan the code and place your party on waitlist. The wait was not long at all for us. The servers there were three who tagged team for one another. Just be patient with them they are definitely doing their best with a smile. What we ordered: 1.) Short stack Pancakes $7.50 these were cooked to perfection slight crispness on the outside and just enough moistness on the inside. 2.) Zippy Omelette w/ cheese $14.50 my husband said it was good. 3.) Prime Burger $16.30 these burger was tasty and the Mac salad was really good. 4.) Orange Bang $4.50 this was a bit on the sweet side for me.

I truly love Zippys and come by here weekly for the ensemada. But, I need to update my review based on my last visit. The food is always delicious. I had the Zip Pac Deluxe, Corn Chowder my fave, and an ensemada. All these dishes were so good. The only negative was the service. We noticed our food sitting out for a bit. We were thinking maybe she's waiting for the order to be completed before bringing it to us but that wasn't the case. She served us the condiments and sauces and umm said "Here's the sauce for the poke." We all looked at each other and said, we didn't order poke and I said she probably got confused that it's the tartar sauce for the fried fish. Also, I asked for my rice to be plain and she said it is plain. Hmm so no furikake. Great!!! But nope, it was not plain. Clearly, she didn't know. Regardless of my experience regarding the server, I'd still return because everyone is genuinely nice. ‐‐-------Updated Review The Aloha Spirit can be found here. Congratulations to Zippy's for your 2nd location in Vegas. I was happy to be present for the grand openingand I was able to dance hula during the opening celebration. But, what I was more excited about was seeing they had Ensemada. Yay!!! It's been years since I've had one from the Wahiawa location. I ordered the Zip Pac Deluxe and had it with Rice, Teri Beef, Chicken, Fish, Spam and Chili no Beans. In addition I had 2 Ensemadas. Soooo good!!!! Service was amazing and all the workers were so friendly. Thank you

Yelp
Been on my radar for a while and historically anything established back in 1966 in Hawaii.....Gotta try it? Luck for me close proximity to my family so had a chance to try while visiting and so glad I did!!! Only my first visit so only had a chance to try the fried chicken, chili and rice plate with Mac salad and did not disappoint!!! Absolutely delicious Mac said, chili was amazing and fried chicken was a little old but still good and great fried skin!!! Definitely will be back to try a dine in but huge menu with a ton of goodness i definitely want to try!!! Big clean space but staff were so friendly helpful and attentive!!!

Yelp
Damn...unfortunately yeah and one star right off because we did ask the chili as an appetizer and came seconds before the meal. Food was good not great again this the second time coming and not being mean just truthful Babystacks food and more important the chili is is much better... Ouch!!! I remember going to babystacks and I love thier chili and I believe the server told me it was taken from a famous Hawaiian restaurant in Hawaii which happened not to be here at the moment Zippys. Of course each restaurant has thier own spin but I did try it at the og location on rainbow Blvd still stand the same... good but...lacking. Anyways service was nice and friendly restaurant very clean thier menu is very extensive. I will be back to try more...I forgot the rice seemed it had sugar??? Im like why is rice sweet...lol My daughter told its Hawaiian!!! They love the sweets. Im more savory

Yelp
Food: Hawaiian influence. Great crispy fried chicken flavors. If you like leftover fried chicken, order the Korean style. Service; good attentive staff Ambience: clean spacious seatings. Orderly setup for Take Out orders. Don't forget the desserts!

Yelp
Just had the Wu Tun Min. It's wonton soup and ramen together and it is excellent. The wontons are filled with tasty pork. The chashu has a sweetness to it that I loved. The ramen noodles are a little more chewy than at Japanese spots which made them more filling and hearty. This was excellent and I will have it again. Right after I try the Korean fried chicken that just went by.

Yelp
Zippy's is a great place for Hawaii comfort food not to confused with Hawaiian food. Yes there is a difference. I love Zippy's because they are fast and it brings me back to childhood. They always have specials for the month and change the desserts often with each month but they keep the classic always like Apple Naples and Dobash cake and mochi Zadas. Just to name a few. Aloha is spoken here service is friendly and fast always checking back on your table to see if you need anything else. If you've been to one zippy's, they're pretty much laid out the same simple set up and simple decor. Food always comes out hot and fresh, some of my go to favorites are chicken Katsu Portuguese bean soup, teriyaki hamburger steak, saimin and of course a side order is Mac salad. What's nice about Zippy's is that they serve breakfast 24 hours so whatever you're in the mood for they have it. Give this place a try and happy eating....

Yelp
This easy to find and easy to park. The staff was friendly. I wasn't too hungry and it was my 1st time at a Zippy's. I ordered their chili/no beans with cornbread to take home and it was very good. Their pastries look delicious but I'll try those another time. I was shocked at how large the restaurant was with plenty of boosts as well as tables. They also have a very large menu with lots of variety. I will be back another time to try more.

Yelp
Finally made it here. We were craving for oxtail soup so drove all the way here for it. Oxtail soup is like $28 --it's kinda pricey but the flavor was there. I would like more meat though and hotter soup not warm. The service is what made this 4stars --they were so nice and helpful since it was our first time there. Parking was easy probably because we came at around 9pm. Huge space definitely great for gathering.

Yelp
Oh my gosh! I can't even tell you the last time I had Zippy's!! We were lucky enough to have a free night to run over to Zippy's for dinner. It's like a little bit of home. Too bad it was early in our trip or I would have brought back some pasteries for my mom. Since this location isn't near the tourist areas it really wasn't crowded at all. We got to sit pretty quick. Of course I had to go with my staple of saimin. So many noodles!! It almost had too much noodles compared to the broth ratio. Of course I had help finishing the noodles but in general I know no one would complain when getting a lot of noodles. My companion had the zip pac. He said the chili was so much better than the frozen Zippy's chili we get at Tokyo Central (we gotta do what we gotta do at home). He said the meal was filling and ono. Of course we had to complete the meal with haupia cake. I wish I could get haupia cake at home but almost no one makes that anymore. It was a special treat to get to enjoy Zippy's on our trip!

Yelp
So Zippys has fully made its scene in Vegas and im glad its one of those ongoing "staples" that I can tap into. This is the standard Zippys so they have all the items you would want to see across a Zippy Diner. The location here is so peaceful and spacious that makes it an absolute joy. The service here is just absolutely top notch. I typically head over at breakfast and the few ladies working the restaurant are the nicest in the world. Generally i have a mixed set of orders here but i do enjoy the chili, the musubi, the oxtail soup, and the mac salad. All of the food comes out piping hot and fresh. This diner is worlds above like a Dennys or Ihop so you gotta check it out.

Yelp
Came here to try something new and since this location hasn't been open for a long time it's very nice and clean. Our server was very new and asking her questions wasn't helpful to us. We tried a few dishes and some sweets. My chili was good but I prefer mine a little sweeter so I ended up adding some sugar. The corn bread was fantastic. My side of fried chicken was a little dry but my ladies Korean fried chicken was very juicy and tender. The desserts we tried were ok but nothing special. Overall I enjoyed our first meal here and will come back to try other things.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to have a Zippy's nearby. I know people love this reputable place. I gave it a go and enjoyed it. I really loved the Korean fried chicken. Next time I'll be focused on that but I tried the 3 entree plate and the rest was good too but not like the Korean fried chicken. Standard rice and sides. I'm not a mayo guy but my wife and others really like the macaroni salad. The service at take out was very friendly and helpful with my menu questions. The area was clean and the dining room looked good They gave numerous bakery options and OMG you need to get the Malasadas! Absolutely delicious and best I've had off the islands and in Vegas.

Yelp
Ended up driving here because the Badura location was so busy. So glad we chose to try this location because it was peaceful lol. Food was made fresh and came out timely. Our servers were great and considerate. The desserts we got to go tasted fresh as well. Definitely recommend this location, came her on a Saturday around 1:30 PM.
google avatar

Yelp
Rating it as a fast food joint and not comparing with family owned places. For fast food it's pretty good quality and tastes fresh. Food tastes made to order which is probably why it takes so long. Kind of a little too long for fast food. Overall pretty good, but not the cheapest quick food of ordering entree per person. Though I did share the deluxe with someone and that makes it a good deal.
google avatar

Yelp
We were greeted with an Aloha welcome as we walked in the door. The dining room has a combination of booths and tables. The Hawaiian background music was pleasant and at a comfortable listening volume. Our server was friendly and service was prompt. My wife ordered the cheeseburger with French fries. The meat was perfectly cooked, nice and juicy. The fries were hot and crispy. My order was the Korean Chicken with macaroni salad, rice and chili. The chili with beans and rice was tasty as was the macaroni. I did not like the chicken because the thighs were fatty. There was more skin then meat. I prefer chicken white meat. Zippy's menu has a variety of choices. I may return to try something else.
google avatar

Jovy S.

Yelp
The food here is always good and consistent the flavors I grew up with back home in Hawaii. Coming to Zippy's is always a treat for me in Las Vegas. My only suggestion is for the app/ordering system it would be great if they added an all rice option for the plate meals. Sometimes you just want the classics with extra rice instead of Mac salad. First time trying the ube long John it's good a nice subtle sweetness to it. Other than that, this spot is a must-try, especially if you're craving local comfort food.
google avatar

Yelp
Aloha is flowing freely at this awesome new Zippy's location! While the prices are still a bit high, the service was amazing. Julius was pretty much on his own the night we were in and he was juggling at least 6 tables in our area. He was polite, informative, and kind, even if a little frazzled. We ordered so much food, as this was a send off dinner for my students heading off to college. Everything was amazing, but once again, the fried chicken stole the show! Haupia chantilly cake was also delish, but I dream about that fried chicken
google avatar

Yelp
Another Zippys in the LV area! I'm here fairly often, and it's nice to see my childhood favorite restaurant thriving. And I don't have to visit home to get my fix. We came during the second week of opening at around 1pm on a weekday. The place was absolutely dead, but understandable since they were just polishing up their final touches. Menu is the same as the other locations - one thing to note, it had a full menu at open, unlike the first location that rolled out slowly. Today, we felt like ordering korean chicken, a zip pack, some regular fried chicken, and of course, some saimin. They all came out and it tastes just like memories. Pretty expensive, but what isn't these days. What's funny, and don't hate me. I think these LV locations taste better than Hawaii. ha! Man I love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Pleasant surprise during this Vegas trip. Amazing. Hawaiian comfort food. Delicious. Abundant servings. I haven't had his good of saimin noodle soup since visiting Kauai. Lots of space. Clean. And super friendly staff. We didn't realize that dining in has full table service. They didn't mind and served us where we sat. We even got tokens for the fun prize mystery machines. Great place for families and large parties. This will be added to my list of restaurants to dine at while visiting Las Vegas.

Yelp
I waited a while for them to have more than one location. And this is a good location as it splits the valley apart and not one location will be congested with everyone. Prices are the same and portions are the same too so you get the value from eating here. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu and if I'm dining in, I always have my go-to; fried chick, chili with no beans, and a apple napple (sometimes the long john silver). Thanks for opening a second location, especially near a LVAC!

Yelp
Came here after church with the family. This is the 2nd location that opened up here in Las Vegas. Inside it felt just like the first location but wasn't too busy. Customer service was excellent. At one point we had 3 different employees helping us. They didn't tell us to leave or anything when we stayed at least 1 hr after finish eating and just talking story with each other. Again it wasn't too busy. I had the Zip Pack Deluxe. The fried chicken and fish was excellent crunchy and what it should be. The teri beef yum. Just like how remembered. The chilli with beans as it should be. Now that Zippy's have opened up their menu foods gotten a lot better. It's still pretty pricey eating here. I was so impressed with Zippy's that went to the first location the very next morning for breakfast. Would be back.

Yelp
Believe the hype--this place is the real deal! Ever since it opened, my sister and her family in Las Vegas have been raving about this new Hawaiian spot, and during my Spring Break visit, it was the first place they took me. Let me just say... wow. The hype is absolutely justified. I had the Loco Moco, and it might be the best I've ever tasted--rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It's the kind of dish you think about days later and instantly crave again. Okay Zippy's, I get it now! If you're in Vegas and looking for incredible Hawaiian comfort food, this place is a must-visit. Well done!

Yelp
In Vegas for 3 days and we went to Zippys 3 times! We got our fix...we should be good for a couple of months. Food is amazing, can't go wrong with anything here. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert! They are good anytime of the day. Service "to-go" is better than eating there. If you have time then go ahead and take a seat and hang out. I didn't order online but dang they must cater to a lot because they had numerous lockers/cubbies where you pick up the order. I didn't count them but definitely over 20! Oh yea they also have my favorite "orange bang"!!!!! Made sure I had it for my ride back to Daygo! Aloha for now...we will be back in a couple of months!

Yelp
Worst service I have even witnessed. Won't go back. Marginal food. It is too bad. It is a nice looking place.

Yelp
It was our first time trying out this Zippy's location. It's clean and new and the staff was super nice! They also have Pepsi products, including MT. Dew! The Loco Moco, Korean Fried Chicken, Steamed rice and Mac salad were all wonderfully good! Portion sizes were generous! The Malasada and Custard pie were both really good as well. The menu I had lots to choose from, but is still not the full menu you would find in Hawaii. Great experience!

Yelp
Wonderful place to eat!! If you're looking for comfort food, this is the place to go. Not just comfort but definitely great tasting. There's something about their food that makes me feel nostalgic.. Hawaiian food is just the best. Hands down, the chili is just the best thing in the menu. The tonkatsu is also amazing, including their Loco moco. The corn bread is also amazing. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
ALOHAAAAA YUMMY FOOD! Honestly Zippy's is the best homely food with rice, chili, meat, spam musubi, and cornbread for the whole family. We've gone here so much that yes I have ordered the salads which are amazing like the garlic miso chicken and Korean fried chicken salads. And then I order their famous chili on the side hehe. They've also got bulk order and catering. The bulk ordering of platters and bucket of chili and rice is enough for a park outing or baby shower or birthday. For catering with trays for more food like 30+ people, need to order 3 days in advance. So worth it instead of dumb sandwiches and pizza all the time!! Kids: Super family friendly. This is probably one of the top choices to take kids. They've got high chairs and booster seats. They've got a cute coloring page with crayons. After the kid meal like spaghetti and garlic bread, the waiter gives you a token to redeem a toy at the front entrance. Food: (our go-to orders) - Chili with beans and rice - the BEST - Grilled cornbread - buttery grilled better than American cornbread - Deluxe Zip Pac - has all the meats and chili - Oxtail soup with ginger - so light and clean and healthy Bulk order / Catering: (what I ordered for 20 ppl and had leftovers) - Barrel Chili - bucket enough for 20-30 - Barrel Rice - enough for 10-20 - Zip Meal Macaroni Salad - Local Favorites Platter - Korean Chicken Platter - Chicken Katsu Platter - Spam Musubi Platter - Grilled Cornbread x 10 - 5 Salads (gotta have some veggies)

Yelp
This is their second location and it doesn't miss a beat at all! Staff is very friendly and the food is on point. We ordered the kids spaghetti for our kids and adults got the spare ribs since it was on special and the Korean chicken which is our personal favorite and highly recommend. Location is rarely new so it's very clean and we went for lunch so it wasn't crazy packed so might be a good idea to go at that time. Parking is great so no worries there. They have dine in option and takeout as well and pricing is good! If you're either visiting or just a local, this for sure is a spot to try!

Yelp
I knew it would be different than if we were actually at the islands of Hawaii. This is the second location in Las Vegas. It is close to our home. And enter our Wedding Anniversary, this past tuesday. The takeout menu (sign- will point to the Left) is different than the table service menu (sign will point to the Right). You can only get the breakfast bento for takeout. (At the Oahu location, we would get the omelette sandwiches for breakfast, mmm.) Also, on the menu, it is a bit confusing, as the wording is misleading. All combos come with extras, but if it is not a breakfast combo, it doesn't include those items. We ended up getting two sides for our breakfast. I wanted to try the corned beef hash so I got that with a scoop of fried rice (slices of bacon and portuguese sausage). Hubby had portuguese sausage and two scoops of fried rice. Everything was good. There were very few diners; hubby asked if it was open when we were parking. Parking is a little tight. Shares the lot with the shopping center. There were some customers for takeout. Our server changed. Very good service. The first server seemed newer as compared to our second server. She seemed to know more about the menu and the other restaurant location. Location is clean. Looks smaller than the original location off of Badura and Rainbow (215). We also got the pineapple coffee cake to go. This was excellent. I looked at the Bakery items, but the Selection seemed small. I forgot to scan the App. No pricing info on the website, but it is available on the App.

Yelp

Yelp
It was pretty busy on a week night. Ordered wonton saimin and it came out like warm. My friend ordered the Teri burger with fries and the fries were not hot. I don't understand why it took 25 minutes to bring out our cold food. The waiter never came and refilled our drinks and when we ordered dessert, my Chantilly cake was still frozen and had freezer burn taste. I was very disappointed on this visit.

Yelp
I miss the food in Hawaii, since we are visiting Vegas this is a must stop. Zippys is always been our Go to when we are in Hawaii! The service is Great! They are very accommodating! The ambiance feels like Hawaii Island! Just made me miss Hawaii

Yelp
We have been frequenting the Zippy's on Badura since they opened. So excited to have a new Zippy's literally 5 mins away from home! The ambiance and food are enjoyable here. It is a bit smaller than the Badura location. You can use the Zippy's website to get on the waitlist so you don't stand around as long. I didn't need it when we went this time, although a little later around 6pm the place starts to fill up. Our server was very kind and efficient. She checked to see if we needed any thing or any refills without being intrusive. I love having a neighborhood Zippy's and am totally rooting for it! One request---please start making the Rainbow Cake like they have at the Island Zippy's.

Yelp
Awesome location of Zippy's. Finally able to have Zippy's chili more than 1 time every couple of years. Now I can have it 1-2 times per year. Thanks Zippy's for coming to the mainland. My husband and I shared the plate special with all the different types of protein. More than enough for both of us. Mahalo

Yelp
I saw Zippy's as it was being built. having eaten at the first one in Las Vegas, i was pleased to see they'd be so close to home. I also received a card in the mail including an offer for a free apple napple. Understand, this is not haute cuisine. It is diner food. You come here when you're very hungry. Their portions are large. I ordered one of the Friday specials (Friday special until the end of April when they'll change them), the char siu pork plate. As with almost all dishes, there are two scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. The pork is Chinese BBQ pork and it's roasted after being coated with a sweet and savory sauce. The pork was cut thin and was very tender and flavorful. Rice is rice. I really like their macaroni salad. My server, Michael, was top notch. As I was finishing, he took the free apple napple card off the table and asked if I wanted apple or coconut. He also asked if I wanted to eat it there or take home. I ate it there. I'm glad they're here and so close to home. Only 3 miles away, and I will be back!

Yelp
Spread the aloha from Hawaii to here, we finally got the chance to check it out. Now having Zippy's previously in Hawaii I was all too excited to have it again. The grand opening of Summerlin South- allowed for the Chili and Chicken combo for only $9.99 and I swooped up that deal. The Korean fried chicken was delicious. Mac Salad has great flavor, but very mayo-y. I had the chili without beans and the original with beans. Im a huge fan of both, but loved the original recipe. The Korean Tofu was perfectly breaded and a great taste with the korean sauce. Asking for extra was exactly what was needed. I love how all the food is great to-go and warms up for the perfect meal the next day. The ambiance is full of the aloha spirit and so happy they made not one, but two beautiful places here. They are Hawaiian pricey though

Yelp
Went in to order takeout. Service was phenomenal! I love the Hawaiian music they play. Takes me to my Hawaiian vacations. I got the Korean chicken chili plate. It was delicious and flavorful. Also had to try the Napple apple, Chantilly, Longjohn, and Dobesh cake. Tasted a little bit of all 3. All were pretty yummy. An Napple apple is my favorite. I would've tried the mochi malasada, but they were sold out. I will try it next time.

Yelp
Gotta start off this review by saying a huge Auwe! In the Hawaiian language, the word "auwe" is an exclamation used to convey sorrow, disappointment, or surprise... yea, so not good. Read on to see why. I've eaten at Badura Zippy's twice now, so when I saw on the News that this new location was opening, and they were offering a $9.99 KFC and Chili Combo Grand Opening special until March 31st, I informed my girlfriend to make it a weekend plan for us and our 2-year-old son. We came today on Saturday (03/29), and the first thing I did when I walked in was go to the cashier to the left of the dessert display case. I noticed the "CASHIER IN TRAINING" sign, but paid no mind... I asked the employee (I won't identify them as not to embarrass them) if the $9.99 KFC special was dine in only or take out. He said "Both". This detail is important because only later would I be informed he was mistaken... Anyways I thanked him for the answer and made my way to the hostess. I told her we're a party of 3 and she puts us on the wait list. We are party #8. We wait about 20-30 minutes and we are taken to our table. Jake is our server and was warm and inviting. No complaints here. He takes our drink order and asks if we're ready to order entrees. We state we would both like the $9.99 KFC special. He informs us that is take out only... therein lies the problem, BECAUSE the first employee answered it is available for dine in. Jake apologizes for the mixup and offers to take our $9.99 offer at our table, but we have to just pick it up at the Take Out counter. We don't make a scene. We accept the outcome. We apologize to Jake and vacate our table and head back to the Take Out counter thinking, well that was a waste of time waiting for a table. We placed two orders of the $9.99 Special and a couple desserts with the same cashier that misinformed me. (Dunno if this new employee would end up packing my food too, cause there's gonna be another issue before my review ends...) We wait some more for the food. Food gets done and packed. We get called to the counter. We grab the bag and decide to eat in the parking lot, while sitting in the back of my Crossover SUV. I opened the bag and the dual utensils set is INCOMPLETE. Two forks and only 1 SPOON to eat a chili dish?! I think I shouted into the air at that point "THEY FORGOT THE SPOON?!?!" Truthfully, they forgot the other knife too. (Pictures Included with Review) So I walk back into Zippy's and head back to the Take Out counter for the 3rd time. I ask the gal there nicely, can I have a plastic SPOON and Knife? She goes to the rear and brings out a Fork and Knife. I say, I NEED A SPOON a bit louder and aggravated. The girl says sorry, and provides a spoon. I walk back to meet my girlfriend and son and now we can finally dine. The flavor of the food and dessert is the only saving grace. It was the only positive impression from this trip. 2 STARS / 5 STARS. Look, I'll likely still be back at some point, but trip was a disaster.

Yelp
Not currently impressed. We go to Zippy's in SW Vegas all the time and we love it there. This location is new, just opened 5 days ago, and they still need some work. My boyfriend got an offer from Zippy's for $10 chicken plates. Offer is good through the end of March and was specific to the grand opening. Plate comes with chicken, chili, 2 scoops of rice, and a scoop of mac salad. This is the whole reason we drove across town to eat there. When we get there my boyfriend asks about the offer and an employee tells us that we can use it for dine in or to go. We were just starting our day so we decided to dine in. There were 8 parties ahead of us, we waited a half an hour if not more before we were seated. As my boyfriend was placing our order the waiter stops us and tells us that the offer is only good for to go orders. Oh my gawd Becky... At this point we've been there 45 mins and have no food... we go back to the same guy that gave us bad info to place our to go order. Another 15 minutes pass and we get our food. We have no where to go so we decided to have a picnic in the parking lot. (See photos.) For giggles, we were only given 1 spoon to eat 2 orders of chili so luckily we're in the parking lot and my boyfriend goes back in to get another. He asks politely for a spoon and they give him a fork and a knife wrapped in a napkin... LOL! I am dying at this point. He eventually got a spoon after raising his voice and pointing out that a fork and knife are not a spoon... LMAO... Hopefully specials and offers are communicated to all employees better in the future. Won't be back to this location due to distance from home anyway.

Yelp
When I visited Hawaii a couple years ago, I made the mistake by not trying Zippy's while being there. So this is my first time trying Zippy's since it's only two stoplights down from my home. Well, needless to say I am disappointed in that the food is basic. I had the spaghetti & fried chicken plate. Comes with Mac salad and garlic toast. Spaghetti is different with their house made chili sauce. It's not bad, just basic. Fried chicken is just okay. Mac salad is not very flavorful, but at least it wasn't smothered with mayo. The star of the plate is the garlic bread which tastes amazing! I enjoyed it so much I ordered another slice. No malasadas which was a bummer. To be fair, I'll return and try a different dish. Our server was very friendly with a good sense of humor.

Yelp
Newest location, about a 25-30 mins away drive from the Northeast side of town but if you're from the 808 and grew up with Zippys, it's worth the drive. Easy to see from the street, lots of parking. Dine in or carry out. I was greeted as soon as I walked in no wait time as it was pretty early, just a few other patrons in the dining room: I ordered the Korean chicken breakfast, it came with 3 pieces Korean fried chicken, 2 eggs any style (I ordered over medium) and your choice of breakfast meat, bacon, Portuguese sausage, spam or corned beef hash, (I chose Portuguese sausage), and to drink fruit punch of course. From service to food everything was great and would visit again, but I think the next location maybe closer and easier for me to get too. Super clean and fresh dining room, the take out counter just as inviting and the bake good, looked amazing. I should've got a napple to go but U was too full to think of a sweet treat.

Yelp
Finally tried the famous Zippy's diner! All of the staffs were immensely friendly, especially our server - Julian. The diner was spotless & spacious. I LOVE that they give kiddos a complimentary token for the toys vending machine (my three year son loved his free toy!). We had the Korean fried chicken & chili plate, which was phenomenal in terms of flavor & freshness. I had the fried chicken plate, which was delicious (I saved the rice, so that we can make fried rice at home). My son loved his Mac & cheese too! We'll definitely return in the fall, when the weather is cooler.

Yelp
Korean Fried Chicken 5/5 - crispy coating, juicy chicken - nicely coated with sauce, not too sweet or salty, perfect amount of heat - side rice well cooked, mac salad solid (nothing too out of the ordinary but good and well balanced) Saimin 3.5/5 - perhaps i never had the authentic saimin but the noodles were a bit overdone (maybe also cuz i had takeout) - decent amount of toppings in the dish - broth flavourful, slightly salty with umami notes from the shoyu base - chicken can get dry as it gets cold - chasiu is ok Chili 4/5 - good flavour, not too heavily seasoned - regular with beans definitely better than the veggie one, good attempt with veggie but doesnt have that savoury tone from the meats unfortunately! I was surprised that being a chain it was still good quality to be honest, definitely would come here again and again for quick Hawaiian food

Yelp
This place used to be my favorite for loco moco but when we got there they said they are out of burger like what? How? You guys should stock up your inventory. I was disappointed so I ended up ordering the Korean fried chicken breakfast which was good. The waitress that took my order was not nice at all. I asked for ketchup and she didn't even bring us.

Yelp
This is the second location of Zippy's on Hualapai (their summerlin location). I came here for breakfast to go on a Wednesday morning at 8am. It was empty. Only one person on the dine in side. Rosalie took my take out order and she was so nice, helpful & patient. I had a lot of questions & she was very polite & professional. We shared laughs as well. I did not realize but the dine in side offers some things that the take out does not. For example, waffles. Also the prices for items on the dine in menu are about $2-3 more that if I were to order take out. Anyway, I am very happy with the service I had today. I cannot wait till they have a location open up near Centennial Hills/north-NW side of Vegas. Mahalo! By the way, don't forget the chili & cornbread. Download the app to earn points to redeem for food or $5 off.

Yelp
Chloe was our server and she was so kind and helpful with advising us on what plated to make a combo so it saved us a couple bucks. We came in as a party of 9 on a weekday later in the morning, and the place hand a handful of occupied tables. It looks like the zippy's on rainbow but a little bit smaller. Everyone's food came out hot and delicious- minus the pancakes... they were just normal pancakes. The bathrooms were clean- always a plus. This location is much closer to home so we will definitely come back again.

Yelp
The service at this location is very friendly, our server was Julius and he was very friendly and kept checking on us if we needed anything. The food is very delicious, the fried chicken is super good and gotta have a piece with your meal. The mac and cheese is your classic Kraft Mac n Cheese and a classic for sure. Their desserts are worth making the space for because they are super delicious. The ambiance was quiet but the music that is playing is at a good volume.
