Ziya at The Oberoi, Mumbai, India. Au upscale Indian cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia. The seating and ambiance is formal. Service was very good. Food has an innovative approach to classic Indian dishes. Some were successful like the samosa chat while some were not especially the biryani and the raan. Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5/5 Average PPP INR 10,000

I have visited Ziya multiple times in the last few years. However, this time I was genuinely dissatisfied and rather disappointed with the quality of the food they served. Definitely not Vineet Bhatia level. Their fusion menu was so much better. The service was also tardy. It is a restaurant I used to enjoy going to but not anymore probably.

Had a 5 star experience at Ziya! Ambience: very calm, tranquil ambience. The window offers a beautiful view of the sea and the queens necklace. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Food : superb food in all aspects whether it's modern - fusion food or good ol classic butter chicken! Would recommend the pumpkin barley soup, the smoked dal makhani, butter chicken, and palak samosa. Service: best in class service. Ms. Maria was very helpful from the beginning in prompt response to the booking and helping us out with the set menu options. Mr. Siddharth and Ms. Chari were top notch in their service. Paying attention to all our needs they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted. Value for money: The portion size is relatively smaller compared to the pricing, but the main course is quite sufficient. The overall experience was definitely worth paying for. Pro tips : 1. go at sharp 7.00 pm when the restaurant opens if you want the best table with the view as these are limited. 2. We had a party of 5, so opted for the set menu option which allows you to plan in advance exactly what the pricing is going to be like. They have 3 different types of set menus along with Al carte. 3. Definitely recommend booking a table in advance. Thank you Ziya for such a wonderful dining experience.

Beyond this earth food and drinks experience. We had Beetroot cashew and sweet potatoes with beans apetitizers followed by Mutton Roast with rice and three cheese naan and chicken biryani. Following note is from my 9 year old daughter who loves biryani: " Food was so good, almost better than anything I ever tasted. The drinks were also very good."

I had the pleasure of dining at Ziya Restaurant at The Oberoi, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. A special thanks to Sanket, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we had a memorable evening. The traditional Indian cuisine was absolutely delicious rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and a true celebration of authentic tastes. To top it all off, they surprised us with a special complimentary dessert, which was a lovely gesture and made the experience even more special. I highly recommend everyone to visit and enjoy not only the incredible food but also the warm and professional service that makes Ziya truly stand out. Whether you’re a fan of Indian food or simply looking for a refined dining experience, this place is a must to try

Ziya was a mixed bag for me as the food is really not that great but the ambience and the host was great. The food is expensive as this is a fine dining place but the taste just isn’t there. One can visit for the ambience and the hospitality, not really for the food.

An Absolutely Delightful Dining Experience! From the moment we stepped in, everything about this restaurant was top-notch! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. We were greeted with genuine smiles and seated immediately. The service was impeccable. Every dish we ordered was presented beautifully and packed with flavor. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and you could taste the care that went into every bite.

Ziya is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. The fusion of traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist was delightful. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Special mention to the chef’s tasting menu—it’s a must-try! Perfect place for a special evening. Will definitely come back.
