There is brunch and then there is Ziziki's brunch. So much deliciousness. So many mimosas. Such wonderful courses. All topped off my stellar service at the Preston Forest location. Can't wait to go again!

Mr. Sometimes was a great server, very engaging and friendly. Lamb chops, lamb gyro, salmon salad - all great! Spanakopita absolutely amazing!

This was my first visit to the North Dallas Ziziki’s location, as I’ve typically dined at the Uptown restaurant. Tried the saganaki, chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, and calamari; everything was delicious. The service was excellent as well, very attentive and welcoming. Great experience overall and I’ll definitely be back!

Google
So good!!! Our waiter was excellent and our food was delicious. Every time we have come for dinner it’s always been excellent.

Absolutely love this place the food was great. The service was great and it was a great atmosphere, went during restaurant week, and I was definitely full with all they gave us for $35

Google
The food was excellent and so was the service. We happen to be in the area and we currently live in Oklahoma and I will definitely drive out here again

Google
Fantastic experience at Zziki! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really made the lunch special was the outstanding service from Galina which is attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A perfect mix of great food and great people. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience. I’ve been dining here for over ten years now and I have to say it, it’s one of my favorite places in DFW.

The Brunch Menu has been expanded with enough food for two very healthy eaters (or four skinnys). All delicious, mimosas included.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Ziziki's in the last couple of months for their Sunday brunch. Galina was our server once again, and it was a delightful experience as always. She is very attentive and quick, and elevates the whole experience to a higher level. The food is consistently delicious every time too. You have a plethora of items to choose from. Normally, with brunch, you get all the items on the brunch menu, but if you are like us and don't like to waste food, if you are not in the mood for something, just ask. They will be happy to substitute it for something else from the menu, or skip it altogether if you'd like. For example, the first course comes with scrambled eggs and blueberry pancakes with maple syrup. While the scrambled eggs are absolutely delicious with fresh basil and feta cheese, the sweet pancakes feel a little out of place, since they would fit better with the dessert menu. We learned that you can always request them separately at the end of your meal. The place is very cozy and has a very well thought-out interior with references to Greek culture. We loved the golden chandeliers shaped as grape branches, the Greek seascape wallpaper and windmills, and even the little black olive tree imitations. Overall it works very well to recreate a feeling of Greece in the heart of Texas. It's not Santorini, but you can pretend for a minute, can't you? The place can accommodate both small and large parties, though it would be a good idea to call ahead for a reservation, especially on Sundays, as they can get very busy.

Yelp
Please listen to the bad reviews... $35 per person such a waste of money I thought maybe it wouldn't be too bad...I was wrong We got the brunch and it was basically if they had Greek food on an airplane... Food was bland, reheated and not fresh ingredients at all Meats were cooked well but had noflavor The dessert was some Costco fruit platter and cheap tasteless baklava Overall DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here

Yelp
We went to Ziziki's as a group of 4 for a birthday brunch and had a really great time! The service was wonderful, we had an older lady that was eager to assist us and never had an empty glass. Mimosa service came with orange, peach, or cranberry juice. You can get refills of whatever food you want more of too, which is great. We really enjoyed the eggs, Ziziki bread, waffles and spanakopita. We also brought our own cake and they added sparkler candles which were really fun! I think my only disappointment was telling her that we had a vegetarian in the group and she said she'd take care of us, but we didn't get anything different. We were hoping for some falafel or something, but we still all left full and satisfied!

Yelp
High quality food! With variety of meats! Our waiting staff did a great job! I wish I had room for dessert too!

Yelp
The ambiance is so nice, the service is exceptional, and the food amazing. Nice wine selection and the price was right

Yelp
Great early dinner with a friend! Great service and food. Lemon soup (has a really long name) was soooo good I had it with meatballs you can get chicken also, lemony broth with orzo pasta and 2 delicious lamb meatballs. Nice dinning room.

Yelp
Easter Sunday Brunch!! yum servings after servings of anything you have ever had that is Greek!

Yelp
The food was amazing and so worth the money. I ordered the chicken breast, grilled to perfection. The customer service was good as well.

Yelp
Ziziki's is delicious. I've been twice now. Once with a large group & another with a small group. Both had great service & experience. Everything was sooo good! I genuinely don't think you could order wrong at Ziziki's. The reason I took a star away though is the pricy. The food is very good but the price is keeping me from coming often. I would suggest giving this place a try especially for a special occasion!
google avatar

Yelp
Galina was an absolutely wonderful server and made our experience so much more fun! Felt like we were in the middle of Mykonos. The Sunday 5-course brunch is the best value in Dallas and tastes phenomenal. We will be back!

David S.

Yelp
My mother's favorite dessert was Baklava. So, we had Zizziki's make us a ton and we served it at mom's funeral. One word -- OUTSTANDING!! Thank you.

Yelp
Fantastic, always great food and love the vibe. The Artichoke hummus is delish. Service is always great as well. My only complaint is I cant afford it all the time. But when I can I go.

Marilyn A.

Yelp
I met two friends who love Greek food and had never been to Ziziki's. They ordered the Moussaka, which they said was ok. I ordered the lamb souvlaki, which I have had many times in the past at Ziziki's. I ordered it medium rare. It arrived overcooked, not even a hint of pink, uneven size pieces of lamb and too tough to cut with the steak knife provided. Also dry, not seasoned and tasteless. There was about two tablespoons of a thin, watery tzatziki across one center piece of lamb. I sent it back. The second newly prepared dinner was no improvement. Once again, ordered medium rare and came out overcooked and tough. This time the tzatziki was served on the side and was still thin, watery, a tiny bit thicker and no cucumber, lemon or mint flavors at all. The price of $32 for the two skewer souvlaki that was prepared twice and laid across one piece of pita bread is outrageous. The baklava ice cream cake was still outstanding, thank goodness. The server knew we were not happy, yet no management ever came to the table. They did slightly redeem themselves by comping my souvlaki, but only when the bill was presented with no apologies for the quality, preparation or presentation of the dish. It will be a long time before I return to Ziziki's, if ever.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
THE FOOD & SERVICE are 5 STARS! The only complaint that I have is that the whole restaurant reeks of Fabuloso Lavender Scent. You should walk in and smell the amazing food. Thank goodness there was seating available on the patio.

Yelp
Ziziki's has two locations; one on Travis Walk and the other at Preston and Forest. While the offerings are consistently good at both locations, each has a different personality. Travis Walk has always been a little more trendy and hip due to its location in an area where there is ever-evolving changes in restaurants and stores. Preston and Forest is the neighborhood joint, more likely to have an older and casual crowd. These days, I tend to gravitate to the Preston and Forest location since I've grown older and a tad more casual in my attire. Twenty-five years ago when I was seriously drawn to the latest in trendy men's fashions and hopelessly single, you'd be much more likely to find me at the Travis Walk location. Perhaps the reason I often (but not always) steer clear from the Travis Walk location these days is due to tortured memories of serial drama in my personal life that somehow seemed to happen there, many moons ago. For example, back in the day, I had a first date with a gregarious blond, Debbie, one Friday night, who quickly abandoned me at the bar at the Travis Walk store when she spied her former beau a few tables away and ran off to join him with the martini in hand that I had just purchased for her. Preston and Forest is predictably calm. For the most part, no boisterous noise. Patrons here are generally sedate. As I mentioned, the chow is good, just like Travis Walk. Maybe not the most authentic Greek food, but always reliable. I won't be pinned down to one dish. I wander up and down the menu and find most everything to my liking. But for you, what is your choice? Do you lean Travis Walk or Preston and Forest? It's up to you and your personality. But if you do go to Travis Walk, keep an eye out for Debbie. I'm sure she's still hanging out at the bar, playing the field.

Yelp
The food? Yummy, delicious, well-done Greek food with no surprises or twists. Just solid food done right. The brunch especially is such a great deal for what you get, especially if you have big eaters in your group! On my last visit, the service was sort of lacking, unfortunately. Our waiter spilled the majority of a glass of white wine alllll over my friend. He apologized and brought her a single napkin to dry herself (she had to ask for more because she was completely soaked). He then spilled my red wine as he was pouring it, and he didn't pour the whole carafe it came in, leaving some in the carafe that he just took away. At the end of the meal, we declined dessert, so he brought the checks, then told us, "If you'd wanted a dessert, we would have comped it." First, that's a weird way to present that offer. My wine-soaked friend responded, "Well, could you comp my drink?" Just a single drink. Not all of our drinks. A single drink. And he said NO. Sort of shocking how that was handled.

Grace K.

Yelp
The food here is excellent, but our server, Margarita, completely ruined the experience. After we tipped 14% on our bill--reasonable for a casual one-hour lunch--she had the audacity to confront us and ask if we were dissatisfied with her service. This behavior was rude, entitled, and completely unprofessional. She also stood at our table and argued with us about how 20% is her expectation and waited for us to basically cough up a higher tip. It's a shame, because the food is great, but the service needs serious improvement. We won't be returning if this is how customers are treated.

Yelp
The new renovations are wonderful and add so much to the ambiance. Their artichoke dip has always been one of my favorites and I love the lamb souvlaki. I recommend to all.

Yelp
Good food and service Waitress was nice and acomeding. Was there with other couples and everyone seemed happy

Yelp
Intimate setting, bright but still cozy. A superb and varied menu is easily vegan or vegetarian adaptable. We requested a vegetarian tray and not only was it artfully displayed, it was delicious! Our servers were attentive, but did not hover. A wonderful lunch, evening or special occasion place.

Yelp
Beautiful environment, service and food was great. A very pleasant experience!! I plan to go back!!

Yelp
How delicious and fabulous! The beet and feta salad is wonderful and very flavorful. I had the grilled chicken as my entrée and it did not disappoint! Chicken was juicy and piping hot. The roasted potatoes are divine! Packed with wonderful herbal flavors. The mini salad on the plate was delicious too. We started with the 3 dip appetizer and each dip was so good! The pita was warm and toasted. So good!! We will be back!! Awesome service too!
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
It's really not cool to call an hour before a 7:30 reservation to say you're closing early because you're not busy. We were ready to enjoy a 4th of July dinner here - what a disappointment.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Tried this place for brunch and it was descent. The brunch is seated buffet style. You get 1 Mimoas carafe per two ppl. It's an additional 20$ for another carafe. The service is good. I would go back to try for dinner

Yelp
Had an amazing and very memorable dinner here tonight with my parents... I was in town from California... I eat a lot of Greek food probably at least two times a week and I have a lot of Greek friends who have made me homemade spanakopita and dolmas. I have to say that the was by far the best Taziki that I've ever had at any Greek restaurant in my life!!! The dolmas were so fresh and handmade from scratch!!! my dad raved about the salmon!!! he should know because he was CEO of a major fish company and he is very picky about his seafood quality. Service was incredible. Everybody is so friendly and attentive and I feel like the pricing was also super reasonable. Ambience was great... We will definitely be back... This is one of my parents go to places.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Greek food! Very fresh! Has good variety to chose from. It's the second time we've been and will probably go again :-) It's easy to make reservations online and you can chose whether you want inside or outside. Great for covid times! The outside area is spaced out and the waiters all wear masks and gloves. Felt safe! Service was great!
google avatar

Ambre M.

Yelp
Holy cow. The brunch is wonderful. Soooo much food. My friend and I had the brunch and mimosas. I can't even tell you what was my favorite because everything was terrific! One nice touch was the options for mimosas- both my friend and I opted for pineapple juice. Our server was polite and quick. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the restaurant was just opening and we were seated immediately. Our sever was funny and joked around and complimented us. We were also thrilled that there wasn't a dress code. I suppose you could call it "smart casual". It was quiet enough for us to catch up but not enough to feel solemn.
google avatar

Yelp
Good service, nice salad. The ambiance was a little more formal than I planned when i came in with yoga pants :)

Yelp
Friends met to try the brunch buffet and I had to think on this for a bit. Overall it was pretty good meal but not a wowzer. They bring courses to your table and you can ask for more. One bottle of champagne for every two persons. Started with pita, one GF and one regular each with cheese. Nice and fresh and really like a cheese pizza. Eggs and mini blueberry pancakes were really good. Then a variety of dip, smoked salmon (still a little frozen, mini bagels and more yummy pita. The souvlaki was a bit dry bit chicken and lamb. Keep some ziiziki sauce close by to help. Desert was a plate of fruit, some baklava and chocolate cake. Not bad. Gabrielle provided great service to us. It's a 3.5 star experience for sure and fun to add a Greek twist. It's worth a try.
google avatar

Benjamin C.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been back and I feel it was for good reason. The food is quite underwhelming, especially given the pricing point. Call me a stickler, but I just have a thing for overpaying for average to mediocre food. The lamb was dry and tough, smoked salmon was decent, but average.. and the drinks were ok.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! Their brunch is a buffet to you style. You get different plates of Greek style delicious foods that come to you. They also include a bottle of champagne and orange juice for mimosas. I think it's unlimited mimosas. I've also been there for dinner and it was a great experience. The food is amazing.
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
Had lunch here with a friend and thought the food was quite authentic and very prepared. There's a lot of nature light and a nice vibe. This was a true Mediterranean restaurant, not a middle eastern restaurant calling themselves Mediterranean. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was just the real deal. I enjoyed this location and plan to be back.
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
This marks the first time we tried a Greek brunch, and from now on our brunches must be of the Greek variety. Forever and ever amen! The family went in on the theme and were surprised how massive their platter was. Not just size-wise but even the offerings. Come here hungry! You'll be glad you saved room for the baklava :) Glad they fitted us with outdoor dining and heaters at the last minute, super attentive and patient with our requests, especially with an energetic 4-year-old
google avatar

Yelp
We went for brunch and it was amazing. There was a lot of food and it was all so good. Service was excellent, the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely be going back soon.

Yelp
Ambience:5 Food:3 Service:3 Value:2 Return:3 TOUGH AND CHEWY LAMB! This is my second visit within a couple of months, totally my fault in neglecting to write a review when I was here last, for I would have definitely chosen something else from their menu. Aha moment of Yelping's benefit! Charming is this neighborhood restaurant. Great atmosphere and equal distance for a few of us to get together once in awhile. Depending on which server we get, always friendly but some are more attentive than others. Still, we've never been rushed here during a weeknight, leaving the 2-4 of us to leisurely sip bottles of wine, dine, and catch-up! While writing this, *pop* - in the future, I will just stick to their apps for they are the best. Absolutely delicious is their "Ziziki Bread", broiled pita bread with gooey cheese and herbs. Tasty also are their "Calamari", "Greek Tuna Tower", & "Dolmades". Ooo - a fine dinner and great nibbles that'll make! Cheers!
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
Service was good and the ambiance was fine. However, the food was a major disappointment. A bicycle tire is less rubbery than our chicken dishes. Nor did they have any flavor. The chicken used to have Greek seasonings and was grilled to a moist perfection. Now it is boiled to the consistency of grissel with no seasonings whatsoever (not even salt). Then to top it off, they raised the prices on the menu. A shame, as it once was a great neighborhood find... Never again.
google avatar

Yelp
I had Ziziki's food which was catered at this year's Greenhill Speech and Debate Tournament. The food is delicious. Try their Yogurt/Cucumber (Tzatziki inspired) salad dressing, so so good. Their lamb skewers were fantastic. Highly recommend if you are craving good Mediterranean cuisine.
google avatar

Alexandra G.

Yelp
#covidtimesreview The place is fairly big, they have both indoors and outdoors seating. The have a lunch menu with all the favorites (see photos). Food was very fresh and tasty, probably one of the best Mediterranean in town. Waitresses wore mask, and always kept their distance and were bilingual. They have free parking, although it can get crowded. So, I would recommend to do a reservation. It is an excellent place for girls dates, or for family gatherings.

Darwin F.

Yelp
Always great food and service. Fresh choices and traditional items also. Great place for a small group or a couple. Some of the best food in Dallas ! Go visit and enjoy!
google avatar

Akhil C.

Yelp
Nice looking restaurant, good for a date night. Got the Chicken Souvlaki with extra ziziki sauce. The kebabs were cooked perfectly and went very well with the sauce and the pita. They were a little big so had to cut them in half. They were presented well and tasted really good! They were a little more expensive then other restaurants but tastes great! The Baklava Ice Cream was also a hit, it tasted really good and sweet! Flavors blended well and had a good crunch in my mouth. Would come again!

Whelch F.

Yelp
They used to be good but they've screwed us twice in the last month. They randomly won't take any orders some nights, but leave the ordering site up for the kicks. Then, you call and they tell you they won't make your dinner. How is this a business?!
google avatar

Pauline P.

Yelp
Disclaimer: I came here for a business-type dinner and had everything covered for me. I was with a group of approximately 25 so Ziziki's printed out a separate menu sheet for us. I know nothing of the prices or the regular menu. I find myself teetering between a 3 and a 4. Ziziki's is a solid 3.5. Appetizers I tried included the trio of dips and the calamari. Both were enjoyable. The trio of dips was a winner and the presentation was simple yet lovely. The spicy hipiti was probably my favorite and I loved the garlic-y, soft pita bread. Calamari was just alright. I appreciate the fact that it wasn't overly breaded. For my entree I ordered the leg of lamb gyro. The lamb was a bit tough for my taste. It was hard to get a clean bite out of the sandwich due to the toughness of the lamb. Flavor was not totally there but the Ziziki sauce saved it. Maybe I'm just used to the tender, shaved gyro meat off the vertical rotisserie that I typically get at other Mediterranean restaurants. The side of potatoes had the perfect texture...but they were super salty. My friend ordered the lamb souvlaki and let me try a piece of lamb off his skewer but I was unimpressed because it didn't seem to have any flavor other than the flavor of pure lamb. Unless this is what they were going for, I don't know. The baklava ice cream cake was de-li-cious. On the bottom there was a thin baklava layer with flaky layers of filo, then a thicker layer of creamy vanilla bean ice cream topped with cinnamon, walnuts, and syrup. The cinnamon is what enhances this dish. Excellent service. Food was served in a timely manner. Waters were promptly refilled. Alcoholic drinks instantly replaced when empty. Empty plates were immediately taken away. Dessert came shortly after.

Yelp
Hostess was unbelievably rude. Didn't greet us, just stared at me with a crappy look until I spoke. She also didn't understand why seating 5 at a table for 4 was not okay, even though I had a reservation for 5 that I made weeks ago. Luckily for the restaurant, one person canceled last-minute so we got a 4-top and they didn't have to worry about seating 5 of us comfortably... since obviously that was an inconvenience. We then sat for 10 minutes with no one coming to our table. It took me getting up and asking if drink service was offered during the brunch buffet for someone to come help us. Food was okay to good. Highlights: lemon cod, artichoke hummus, eggs with feta, tomato, and basil, lamb meatballs, and all the smoked salmon I could eat, even if it was cheap and chewy. Middle of the road: drunken mushrooms, cold white pasta, and greek salad that I could put together myself. Lowlights: the "bagels" were Thomas mini bagels and not actual bagels like I was expecting. Spanakopita was strangely sour and very off-putting. Chicken souvlaki was dryyyyyyy. So dry. The bottom of the lamb souvlaki bin was overcooked dry meat. Mimosas were served in giant wine glasses and have very very little alcohol. It just tasted like OJ. Also, huge point of note: don't list things on your website that you don't actually have. The brunch menu on the website says it includes red pasta and grilled fish with red sauce. I can forgive the latter being absent because the cod (funny enough, not listed) was so good. But the menu also says it includes "Chef Made to Order Omelet Station (variety of toppings)." This is not true. My husband and my mother and I were all very much looking forward to this, but the Preston location does not have it. So disappointing. This needs to be taken off the site. For $25 per person, I expected much higher quality. Can't say we will return.
google avatar

Jaime C.

Yelp
I ordered this for Fathers day. My father enjoyed the lamb burger, and I ordered two of the Salmon Salad for my mother and myself. I cant say I was truly impressed. The salad dressing was a bit bland, and the portion size was a bit small, especially for the price.
google avatar

Yelp
The best Mediterranean food I've had! I was introduced to Ziziki's when I first moved to Dallas last year and have been to several of their locations many times -they are consistently wonderful and their food is always fresh and delicious! What I love most is that there are so many healthy options on the menu! My favorite thing to order is the salmon salad. They use sushi grade, fresh salmon and it is always perfectly cooked. It blends perfectly with the feta cheese and crisp romaine. Their vegetarian platter is also a wonderful blend of fresh and healthy treats, would highly recommend for any plant based friends! They also offer a wonderful Sunday brunch. $25 for unlimited lamb or chicken kabobs, pancakes, spanakopita, and fruit plus a mimosa. It's a great deal and absolutely delicious!

Yelp
This place is a "Wow" kind of place. Everything about our experience was amazing. We came here for a belated anniversary dinner because quite frankly it is one of our favorite places to eat. It is always relaxing and the service and food are perfect everytime. We ordered two appetizers to start with. One was Flaming Cheese, the other, Fried Zucchini. The Flaming Cheese was amazing and tasted wonderful atop the pita that is was served with. The Zucchini was wonderfully crisp and tasted great with the cucumber sauce it was served with. Our main course was Chicken Souvlaki, simply prepared and grilled over an open fire. It was served with over roasted potatoes and was the perfect sinner. The surroundings in the restaurant are always perfectly appointed. Be sure to take a look at my pictures to see a sampling of what the interior of this place looks like. I highly recommend checking them out!

Yelp
Great food and service...enjoyable dinner on the patio on a warm summer Saturday. Everything was delicious and we were not rushed while we lingered over dinner. We plan to return soon!

Yelp
This spot is located in a crowded and busy corner but it is certainly worth the parking effort. The location is not very big, either but it is certainly cozy. The staff is always friendly too. My pick is the Mediterranean bread as an appetizer, delicious! For lunch, the chicken or lamb slouvaki; however, this time I opted for a salad because I have to lay off on too much gluten. They do have gluten free pitas upon request, though! The tea is amazing, I know crazy to rave about tea but don't take my word for it, try it!
