Zizzi - Salisbury

My wife and I visited Zizi in Salisbury to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! We ordered two calzones: I had the Calzone Carne Piccante, and my wife chose the Calzone Pollo Spinaci. Both were delicious and packed with flavor—definitely tastier and better value than Prezzo’s calzones. The Carne Piccante was a bit too spicy for me with all those chillies (I had to pick some out!), but the taste was still amazing. My wife loved her chicken calzone, though I found the chicken in mine could have been a touch fresher or more flavorful—maybe it was just my palate. For starters, we shared the Chicken Spiedini and Bruschetta, which was a great combo to kick off the meal. The food was the highlight, no doubt! The restaurant’s location is lovely, but parking nearby is limited, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the town centre felt a little run-down on Sunday evening, with some boarded-up houses nearby, which made me question how safe it would feel for my wife to visit alone. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4.5 stars instead of 5. Still, Zizi’s food and atmosphere made our anniversary special, and we’d definitely return for those incredible calzones!

Absolutely lovely place to come to, for a good meal and amazing service, especially from Noah, who was always attentive and welcoming. That was the highlight when celebrating me and my friend’s first skydiving experience. I can’t wait to welcome Noah at our pub back in London soon!

What incredible service. We went in for our daughter’s 13th birthday party. 10 kids two adults and the staff were incredible! I have been to a lot places but it’s been a very long time since I have had service like we received this evening. Management you should be proud of the guys you have there. If you want good food, reasonable price and an absolute bargain with Tesco vouchers then head here. Thanks again

We had a great dinner here, we went for the set 3 course meal. I particularly liked the Diavoletta Bombe. We felt full after mains but still managed to eat dessert as well! Thanks to our helpful host Lewis 👍

Chain Italian pizza and pasta eatery in Salisbury city center. Extensive menu with various options for all diets and preferences. Staff is super friendly. Prices are reasonable. Vegan rainbow lasagne is quite delicious. The pizzas are thin and crispy. The holiday special venison pepperoni pizza had a nice kick. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese can be requested.

We just arrived Salisbury after a long drive from Cornwall and needed dinner fast. On hotel recommendations we pop into the Zizzi. Friendly staff took us to a table right away and brought us these casual but artistic menus. He then turn around and offered us a small bucket of these tasty crispy fries complimentary. My friends ordered the chorizo carbonara and another king prawn linguine. I ordered a mixed green salad. They arrived beautifully presented. Taste very good too. We added one gelato with 3 spoons. Then it is out the door with a very modest check. Honestly, I will eat here again if I am local. Can't understand why the rating is so low. May be time to get some new write ups.

We came here on the night before the official re-opening of the newly refurbished restaurant. We were very impressed by the decor, staff, service and open kitchen. It's s great place to meet, eat and chat. There's a good menu with some interesting twists on classic dishes. It was not a typical services as everyone was seated and served at once, but Joe and his team did an admirable job and the evening was fun and convivial. The food highlights included a beautifully presented sharing platter of antipasti and a perfectly cooked (to translucency) salmon and prawn main dish. The organic red wine - a primitivo - was excellent too. As it was a set menu, the dessert was not one I would have chosen myself and it was just too sweet for my taste. It was very noisy as the restaurant became full, and it got quite difficult to hold a conversation. The lights in the window areas are pretty but the down lights in the rest of the space are not so nice. Those are the only downsides and Im bring a bit picky... I'm looking forward to my next visit and sitting out in the gorgeous courtyard on a sunny day.

Sorry to say this place was way understaffed, but that wasn't the only problem. First mistake: We ordered sparkling water and she delivered plain. She never returned to the table without having to call the buss boy to ask her to come by. Second mistake: I never received my order. When she finally arrived she was apologetic, but then when it came it was a surprisingly small portion.
