"Since opening in 2019, Milwaukee’s first food truck park has been a bastion of boozy summer meetups and long meals, necessitating a stop at least every couple months to see what’s new. After a revamp, the current lineup includes pizza, tacos, ice cream, maki, and bagels. If you need some direction, check out Meat and Co’s delightfully devilish Nashville chicken sandwich and completely barbarous chopped cheese. Along with DJs and comedy nights, reservable heated huts keep the party going year round." - Todd Lazarski

Easily 5 stars. Great spot to hang out with friends and be loud if you want to. As a food park, there are always at least 2 different places to try from which is good. I like options. Please keep in mind that food vendors are constantly changing/evolving and and reviews you read doesn't necessarily apply to your visit. Check the website for current vendors. I visited twice. At the time of my visits there were no burger vendors available which is a disappointment for me personally. However, I think it's safe to say that you'll find something good to eat. Especially if you visit before 7pm-ish. There is a great bar on site and they allow food from the trucks (obviously). The bar has a unisex bathroom and the park also has bathrooms which closed at 10 last time I was there so keep that in mind.

Great place if good weather. Food truck folks are prompt, courteous, and all smiles. Food taste great but depending on the crowd, you might get a larger portion on day 1 vs day 2. I went back the next day for the same dish and got only half the amount compared to the day before. Last but not least, some dishes are too pricey.

This is definitely the summer spot! The amount of space and food options is out of this world. The bar has a great amount of drink options and it sounds like they are always rotating in new stuff. I decided to do some Asian chicken from sandu and it was amazing! The only thing I can say is I wish I had some sauce to put on top. Maybe like a peanut sauce of some sort. The service was top notch, everything about this place was awesome. I'm definitely coming back again.

Got food from Las Virellas. I was anxiously waiting for some bomb food and got colorless/flavorless Puerto Rican Rice. Old tostones for my jibaritos that contained old meat. A combination of port, ham and chicken. The ham and chicken were the worst and tasted old. Super disappointed. Overall the environment at Zocalo is super cool and I'd give it 5 stars. Food from Las Virellas not good and I'd give 1 star.

A nice laidback place to meet up with friends - everybody can get whatever food they want and then you can all eat together at a picnic table or inside upstairs from the tavern. I love the arepas and my husband likes tacos or sushi from here. Great cocktail list too. We recently got a group of friends together and rented a heated hut, which was a fun experience. Each one is decorated differently, and it’s so pretty all lit up at night. The website said each hut holds 10-12, but 10 is definitely crowded unless the people are really tiny. A great way to stay warm on a Wisconsin winter evening!

Zocalo, based on the Mexican word translated into "public square," invokes the feeling and ambiance of a really hip biergarten with room for 8 unique food trucks and a full service bar. Currently, Zocalo offers an eclectic array of food from Venezuelan from Anytime Arepa (the Arepas and empanadas are excellent!) to Modern Maki, a take on sushi from classic rolls to "sushi" style burritos, and ramen (the sushi rolls from here were excellent and I highly recommend!). I would also recommend any of the tacos from Mazorca. They are delicious mini tacos packed full of warm, delicious spices and flavor! Meat & Co. offers a range of chicken and beef sandwiches, including smashburgers. There is also Ruby's Bagels (unfortunately, it was closed when we were there) and Hot Box Pizza. Our evening was warm and sunny, and we reserved one of the huts for ordering online via the cash app. Our main complaint with this is that it was a busy evening, and using the app allowed us to order and have food delivered to our table, but two things happened to us... the app will only deliver if you push the correct (drop-off) button and put your table number in the notes and we were waiting a long time between when we got messages the order was ready to when it was delivered. Food ended up being cold and greasy in some instances from sitting too long... so just be aware. You also face the same issue of ordering to pick up... you have to wait at some og the same lines you get to the window as everyone else... but still not a complaint as more of a watch out for it and be aware! Otherwise... go for the vibe, sit outside, order food from more than one place, and share!

Came to the food park to try a few items. The pastor taco was delicious but very small and expensive for the size, $3 each. Still recommend it. I had the chicken arepas, and it was so flavorful. I ordered a side of sweet plantains, and it was in the arepa so unless you want extra it is not necessary. I was told the shrimp tempura was delicious. Highly recommend this food park. A variety of trucks are here. We will be back to try more.

Found this place on accident looking for deli shops! Pleasantly surprised how marvelous this food truck/bar spot is! Perfect for an indecisive group that wants a plethora of options plus a bar and yard games. Lots of space inside and outside. Dog friendly is the added cherry on top of a perfect spot!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch on a random weekday. Got the honey gojujang sandwich along with loaded fries (topped with kewpie, sesame, scallions). The chicken on the sandwich was flavorful, and the pickle was the perfect crunch / zing to compliment it. It was also not spicy, but more of a sweet / savory flavor combo. The fries had a nice crispy outside, where they are almost fluffy? My favorite type of fry. Overall just a little pricy, but I would come back regardless. I saw they have a Japanese fruit sandwich, I'll have to be back to try that!
