Absolutely love coming here! Their tacos, papusas and drinks are all so delicious and such great combinations. Not to mention the salsa that comes with the tacos and papusas is so incredible. You can tell all the food and drinks are all made with high quality ingredients. The service is great too, everyone has been so friendly and helpful and food/drinks come out pretty quick. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating with picnic benches & chairs outside. Also dog friendly which is great. Only 1 downside we’ve experienced is once we came later in the day and they ran out of tacos so now we just aim to come by 11am and it’s never been an issue since. Cannot recommend this place enough, it’s a staple of midtown for sure!

Google
Food and espresso are fantastic! This is a wonderful establishment! Kind staff. Great food, full of flavor. Espresso is great and complex. Space is small but they’re outside seating. I’m sorry my pictures do not do the food and latte justice. I can’t wait to go back :)

I can’t recommend their breakfast tacos enough! Their breakfast tacos are made daily with fresh hand pressed tortillas & paired with a beautiful range of homemade signature ZOE salsas including Better Than Guac (mild, avocado), Smoke Show (med, red), Talk Verde to Me (hot, green), and Hurts So Good (extra hot, habanero)! We tried the Vegetarian Soyrizo, Egg, Cheese & Potato Breakfast Taco and it was crafted to perfection! Everything is made in the morning therefore you can’t substitute for the majority of their food. We can’t wait to be back to sample their Auga Frescas flight featuring three flavors: Watermelon Mint, Cantaloupe Basil, and Pineapple Lime. Beautiful seating inside and outside. Wonderful welcoming experience! Friendly customer service and kind interactions. There are handful of seatings inside and plenty outside. I enjoyed my time here and I love how they offer savory food and sweet treats along with delicious coffee drinks. I haven’t tried their other drinks but I look forward to trying their Agua Frescas and Matcha drinks too! They have a large variety of homemade syrups that sound phenomenal. This place is amazing!

Google
I discovered this awesome spot while on the hunt for lunch. It is on a corner with picnic tables outside. Which i love. Super friendly staff. Homemade goodies. And what a phenomenal pairing?!?! Coffee and tacos!! It was a comfort food day for me. Pupusa and tea. I asked for the pork, bean, and cheese with their med. spicy salsa. And receives this beautiful hot green tea latte. My first sip had me close my eyes savoring it's great composition. Super fun spot

Google
Small and not much room to move around but lots of outdoor seating. Soyrizo tacos were amazing!!!!!!! And im not even vegetarian. The spicy salsa is not spicy but I think alot of the people who come here can't handle spicy but either way the food was good. Coffee nice and hot and friendly staff. Definitely should try this place.

Delicious and creative drinks made with quality ingredients by skilled baristas. The service is always warm and genuine, making this an important new neighborhood staple. Definitely a coffee shop ran with love and integrity.

I couldn’t wait to try this place because coffee and tacos are two of my favorite things! Me and my family finally made it out early on a Sunday. Let me start off by saying the atmosphere was perfect with good music. There is not a ton of seating inside or out but we were able to get a little table inside. The coffee was very yummy and the food was very flavorful and delicious. The only disappointment was realizing the food was not made to order but instead was warmed up once you placed an order. Unfortunately our tacos were a bit cold but we did not ask for them to be warmed up again because they were busy. We still really enjoyed the food but wish it would have been made fresh. We will definitely come back.

Google
The hot chocolate and churros were fantastic! Zoe Coffee and Tacos has become my son’s favorite place. The staff is consistently kind, and the drinks and food come out quickly and taste incredible.

Yelp
Zoe coffee and tacos was the perfect first stop on my Sacramento coffee crawl! Decided to stop here first due to the plenty options for breakfast and their seasonal drinks! You can find them located on a dreamy corner in a cute neighborhood. There is plenty of street parking and you wont even mind the short walk if you are unable to snag a spot in the front of the shop. Now, I didn't expect this place to be very busy on a weekday but it was and I can complete understand why! Finding a seat inside was hard since it is small in there so if you are going on a cold day and plan to eat there take some extra warm clothes in case you are only able to sit outside. Despite the volume of customers they had our order still came out in a timely manner which I very much appreciate! There was all sorts of condensation on the windows which did make it a bit stuffy but eating there was still enjoyable. Due to the busy environment and limited indoor seating I don't see this as a good spot for studying or getting work done, more of a sociable spot. As for what I ordered: - Chicken pupusa 7.5/10 - flavor was amazing yet i do believe it could use a bit more filling inside - Zoe seasonal spice latte 8/10 - their take on a PSL very rich in flavors especially nutmeg also believe it's a good size for the price! Overall this place was great! And it's family friendly! Plus the staff were very kind!

Yelp
Zoe's is your one stop, coffee and tacos shop! The husband and I decided to walk over to Zoe's one cold morning in hopes they still had some food left and in desperate need of coffee. Twenty minutes later and nearly frozen (we had to get those steps in), we made it to Zoe's and opted for the cheese/jalapeño papusas and tamales (they were out of chicken). The husband order an iced (he's insane) Spiced Latte and I went with the hot Cereal Milk Latte, both with almond milk. YUM! The coffee was so good and literally tasted like fruity pebbles cereal milk. The husband also loved his spiced iced latte. The comida? As you know, I'm pretty picky with my Mexican/Latino food but really enjoyed both the papusas and tamales. We opted for the spicy salsa which was very flavorful (not that spicy for me but if you're sensitive, might be spicy for you). Everything was great. Literally obsessed and we're excited to come back soon! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I love Zoe Coffee and Tacos. I like to visit new coffee shops when they open, and have a short list of my top spots in Sacramento. When Zoe opened, they quickly became my default coffee spot - the team is personable, friendly, and consistently an amazing coffee and matcha experience, plus delicious tacos, papusas, agua fresca and salsa. My only complaint is I love my regular savory items and though I've been a regular for over a year now, haven't tried their pastries. You must try their housemade syrups that rotate seasonally, I'm a fan of their coconut. Rn Zoe also has a pumpkin oat milk, a fun fall combo you can add to your matcha latte.

Yelp
3.50- Zoe Coffee & Tacos-- driven past this place enough times I finally had to come try it! Stopped in with my yellow Labrador on a Friday morning! I got the bacon breakfast taco along with a hot chai! This coffee shop is very small inside. They do have limited seating but it almost feels cramped. They also have outdoor seating! The staff were very kind and nice! I have to say it.. this breakfast taco wasn't it. I realized it probably wasn't super fresh because it was pre made and already wrapped when I got it. It came with a salsa that was good. But overall the taco was soggy and just not great! The hot chai was good! I will say I like that this coffee shop is open early! They also offer pastries and other drinks! The actual coffee menu is very short! I was disappointed by the seasonal offerings!

Yelp
Tried ZOE Coffee & Tacos for the first time because of my manager's and a food influencer's recommendation! This cutie little shop looks huge from the outside, but there's not much seating inside (plenty outside however). It's cozy, and the space is very intimate. The employees were also very nice. I ordered the pork pupusa which is also filled with cheese and beans, and the ZSL which is the "ZOE Spiced Latte" (their pumpkin spice latte). The pupusa was good, but didn't care for it much. They were out of the breakfast tacos the day I went, but I'd love to try it the next time I'm back. The ZSL, I LOVED. This was actually the first time I've ever tried a pumpkin spiced latte, and I'm glad it was ZOE's. The weather was gloomy, windy, and fitting for it so I got it hot and I've been hooked ever since.

Yelp
ZOE Coffee & Tacos is located in Midtown Sac. On a weekday morning, I didn't have trouble finding parking within a couple blocks. I ordered a Latte to drink. I tried one of their tacos and three (different types) of pupusas. Having tried pupusas from a variety of places, it wouldn't be my go to food place, but it's nice to have a decent snack option at a coffee shop! I'd personally order the Tacos over the Pupusas from ZOE. Their salsas are quite good as well (you can pick from four different levels of spiciness. Service was very welcoming and friendly. The inside was a bit crammed with the number of people waiting to order or waiting to order. There's some small tables inside, but there's more seating outside too!

Yelp
To drink our family of 4 ordered the Simply Orange, Honest Kids Goodness Grapeness and "Seasonal" Zoe Spice Latte. My daughters enjoyed their juices and hubby said his latte was amazing!! For our main meal we ordered the Breakfast Tacos and Cheese & Jalapeño Authentic Pupusa. Hubby loved his tacos, I tried a bite and they were the BEST I've had!! Their salsa is famous! My pupusa was cheesy and had a hint of spice, just absolutely amazing!! Pastry wise we chose the Lemon Poppyseed Pan, Tres Leches Pan and "New" Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. Their breads are soo good, our family of 4 loved them! And their muffin, OMG so good! Let's just say I devoured it! Their permanent location opened just last summer, small business owned by a husband and wife team! They've been offering catering for awhile tho! Sweet staff and cute decor just in time for Halloween and Dia de los Muertos! SYOY! :D

Yelp
This newish coffee spot is my new go to for breakfast on a busy weekday. Their papusas are delicious with a side of crunchy, pickled cabbage and spicy salsa. Plus, they make great cappuccinos. Finally, the space they've carved out is cozy, warm and perfect for a delightful convo with friends. I almost forgot - the staff is customer focused, kind and always smiling, making many of my mornings happier! Can't recommend this spot more.

Yelp
Food: I love their Jalapeno and Cheese Pupusas with all 3-4 salsas they have. I do find it a little pricey for 1 pupusa, it is $6 I believe. Drinks: I have yet to try their drinks Service: Great, always so lovely Ambiance: Super chill place!

Yelp
The space is very small but adorable, the staff was super friendly. I was curious where they were going to make the tacos at with only 2 employees but after I ordered I saw that the food was premade. I then learned this place also does catering. I feel bad but, I didn't enjoy the tacos. They were sitting in their own steam just getting soft and mushy. I couldn't tell the potatoes in the Tacos from the eggs. I will say, even though the corn tortilla was soft and falling apart, it tasted delicious. Best part of the taco. I also think they gave me the wrong drink.

Yelp
Food 5 out 5 Service 5 out of 5 Ambiance 5 out 5 First time coming here . I got a cheese and jalapeño pupusa, an iced latte, the salsas they also have are very tasty . Pet friendly too I saw a pet bowl outside by their benches :) will be bringing my little Pomeranian next time. 10 out of 10 spot

Yelp
ZOE's is a midtown gem! Not only are the coffee (and tea) offerings amazing, but what really separates ZOE from other shops are the people. When you walk in, you immediately feel welcomed and treated like a part of the community. Sometimes there are community events outdoors making this place a fav to hang out at on the weekends while enjoying a cafe de olla or chai latte. Then if you get hungry, the veggie breakfast taco hits the spot! 10/10 highly recommend Zoe

Yelp
I came here for their one year anniversary celebration and it was my first visit. They had a DJ, ice cream cart, and special taco and coffee drink. I ordered their iced matcha latte, their specialty drink, cherry coke coffee, their specialty taco, and a pupusa. Pros: loved the food, I just wanted more. The portions are small but packed with flavor. I did enjoy the salsa. Staff were friendly and answered all my questions. Parking wasn't bad, you do need to pay for parking. Cons: parking can be limited based on how busy they get. Their matcha was more oat milk than matcha. I didn't care for the cherry coke coffee, it tasted a bit medicinal. I'll have to go back to give them another shot and to try their coffee.

Yelp
A very stylish and trendy cafe and taco spot in the heart of Midtown. The staff here work hard! Attached to the ghost kitchens of several other restaurants, ZOE is the only one with an actual storefront and seating. An extensive beverage menu is paired with a slim food menu, tacos and pupusas, and a few baked goods in a case. There are floor to ceiling windows which provide ample light during the day. There is a bar to sit inside and some small tables. Outdoors there are more small tables for two and a couple of large benches for larger parties. They also have merch for sale if you're interested. Offerings: - Pork, cheese, and bean pupusa: I think this was my favorite item. Very savory and served with a delicious curtido (cabbage slaw) and your choice of a few sauces. I prefer the mild, avocado based one. The pupusa itself was cooked well, had great savory flavor, but I don't know if it was quite worth the price tag. You are paying for the convenient location. If you want a similar item at a fraction of the cost, South Sac has many comparable pupuserias. - Jalapeno and cheese pupusa: Similar comments to above, the flavor of this one was more mild overall. Still delicious with the curtido and salsa though! - Brownie: a delicious block of chocolatey goodness. Perfectly moist with chocolate chips still in tact. - Agua Fresca Flight: For $10, you can enjoy a flight of their agua frescas. They sold out of one of them so they gave us a hibiscus iced tea to compensate. The tea had good tea flavor (excellent description, I know), as compared to most hibiscus teas that really focus on the floral, fruity flavor. We also tried the cantaloupe basil and the pineapple lime. Both were great and super refreshing. I think I liked the cantaloupe basil a little more for its uniqueness. - Carnitas breakfast taco: This was the special breakfast taco today and it was not very memorable. With the salsas, it was fine. A lot of filling though!

Yelp
Alright, had to make a quick update. Came back this morning (with children, who kept busy by reading the many kids books they have) and the salsas were killer! Last time I came they were watery and flavorless. This time they were great! So good that I bought two bottles. So now I have nothing bad to say about it. Great spot!

Yelp
Cute little place.. every time I come, there's a line and it's packed inside. It is a smaller than the normal coffee shop but the food and coffee are worth it and I usually get my order to go. I've tried the bacon burrito and the cheese and jalapeño pupusas. The burritos are not the typical big breakfast burritos and are on the smaller side, but the quality of them is great. The pupusa is probably my favorite and is made fresh to order. I've also ordered the Mexican mocha and the matcha. The mocha isn't too sweet and has a great blend of coffee and chocolate. The matcha is pretty good too. I live about 30 mins away but every time I'm in the area, this place is a must.

Yelp
Went yesterday for the first time. I woke up today dreaming about the breakfast tacos. Service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and patient since it was our first time there. We got coffee, bacon egg cheese tacos and a bean, chicken and cheese Pupusas. Everything is homemade and it tastes amazing. The coffees were excellent (drip coffee and vanilla latte) and the star of the show was the Papusas. So good. The salsa....highly addictive. We bought a bottle to go. Needless to say, it is now at least a once a week habit (maybe two).
google avatar

Nayeli ..

Yelp
Their coffee is way good, the staff is nice and the service is fast and they never get my order wrong. Although their Breakfast tacos have a stale crust to the tortilla. The egg is fluffy and the bacon is good aside the fact. The inside of the cafe is nice and cozy.

Yelp
Finding new coffee spots is one of my favorite things to do and Zoe Coffee & Tacos was next on the list. It is a smaller establishment, but I like how they have some outdoor seating. Luckily a couple was leaving when we arrived! I stayed outdoors with my pup while my boyfriend went inside to order. I got myself their seasonal blood orange mocha (iced). My boyfriend got the aguas frescas flight (watermelon mint, cantaloupe basil, and pineapple lime). For food, he got us the 2 2 breakfast tacos (bacon, potato, egg, & cheese) and 2 pupusas (chicken, cheese, & beans and pork, cheese, & beans). The blood orange mocha is definitely for you if you like citrus. The aguas frescas is refreshing! I didn't know the flavors prior so it was fun guessing the flavors. I love how the tortillas for the breakfast tacos are house made and fresh. It makes it feel homey and cozy. I'd recommend using the salsa it comes with! The pupusas were good and would recommend the pork out of the two we got. The chicken was on the drier side. Overall, the food was good, however we did agree it was a bit pricy for what you get. It definitely would not fill you up if you came hungry. Overall, the staff here is friendly and the food comes ours quickly. I believe this is more of a coffee spot so definitely come try that out as they always change their seasonal drinks. If you want a little snack then I would say go for the food!

Yelp
My 2nd coffee shop stop for the day! After a great lunch and dessert, we came here for some pick-me-up. We also thought was an interesting combo - coffee & tacos. Zoe is tucked on a corner in a quiet mid-town neighborhood. Small place, but fits quit the people inside. They also have a few seats outside as well. My friend ordered a cappuccino, while I went on an adventurous route - iced blood orange matcha. The baristas suggested it would taste better iced, so I went with her suggestion. Thanks! We opt outside since the weather was nice and I truly enjoyed my drink!! Blood orange matcha is a great combo and I would love to get it again. I don't know if it's seasonal, but try it if you're there! They serve food as well, hence "tacos", and they looked good. The lady that was having her lunch says their pupusas are really delicious. Will have to try that next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Ordered a breakfast taco, pupusas and lavender latte. I recommend the cheese & jalapeño pupusa. Pork, cheese & beans were alright. The pupusas are already premade so unfortunately you cannot do any customization to it. Coffee was just okay too. Glad I tried this place but it wasn't something that was amazing and worth coming back for.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by how easy and delicious this visit was. I was concerned about what parking would be like on a Friday afternoon, but there was plenty of free parking along the street! The staff were super friendly upon arrival and gave me the low-down on their menu. I went with the breakfast taco and better-than-guac salsa. Elite combo, although I would love to try a spicier salsa next time. The tortilla tasted fresh and the ingredients were perfectly cooked. They had some outdoor seating and a couple of spots inside. Overall not the best spot for large groups, but great for a coffee date with a friend!

Yelp
Zoe coffee and tacos is one of the cutest coffee shops in the Sac area! I will say my go to drink is the iced Mexican mocha- and let me tell you it's THE BEST one I've had yet! Their Mexican breakfast bites are amazing as well- especially the papusas! Secretly wishing they did a crispy breakfast taco or burrito but beggars can't be choosers and the food is really tasty... just casually putting a plug out there though! The space is smaller on the inside but offers additional outside seating. The service is top tier, you feel like you're family when you walk in! They're always happy to see a new or returning customer!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute place with great outdoor seating and great menu! Came by around 9:30 on a weekday morning. Decided to try the Cortado coffee after the server described it to me. Yum! Delicious and complex spice syrup just made the coffee pop! Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The constant flow of traffic make it clear it's a neighborhood favorite! Can't wait to come back on a weekend when I time to sit and people watch.
google avatar

Aileen C.

Yelp
I love Zoe Coffee for their hot lattes (especiallly the seasonal menu) and their breakfast tacos. It's the cutest little space to quickly grab coffee and go. There is limited seating on the inside & outside so go in with an open mind to stand. I also love their breakfast tacos especially after my workouts. It's fast and delicious! Their entire staff is super sweet!
google avatar

Paula B.

Yelp
They really go out of their way to make you feel loved and appreciated. Each customer exists in their own little bubble with each interaction. The food has improved tremendously. They make absolutely everything in house. It's really a beautiful place and dogs are welcomed.

Yelp
Loved this place! Great location with plenty of street parking. Cool laid back vibe, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super nice, and the food and coffee was amazing. I had the iced lavender latte, and a jalapeño cheese papusa. So good! Their breakfast tacos looked really good too. They also make a variety of their own salsas. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!
google avatar

Rachelle M.

Yelp
This was my first time at Zoe and it was great. Outdoor and some indoor seating. It was pretty busy when we got there. It's a casual spot. You order and pickup at the counter. The tacos were so good that I regretted not ordering another. The salsa that came with it was awesome. Next time, I'd like to try the pupusas!
google avatar

Yelp
Thank you tik tok for showing this coffee shop on my news feed. How did i not know i needed the tacos + coffee combo. I ended up going on a sunday morning not too crowded which was nice. The space is intimate but service and quality of coffee + food is amazing. Highly recommend to try the breakfast tacos, we got lucky and were able to get the spam taco given it was the weekend. I will forsure be back!
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
The vibes in this place were definitely off ! I walked in , no one greeted me at all and the place was not that big or that busy. I sat at a table right in front of the front counter in eye's view of the staff and still no one greeted me or ask if I needed anything in 10 minutes .. hmm .. but as soon as the next person walked in , they got the greeting I was hoping for. The person I was waiting on purchased something however, I wouldn't patronize this establishment if someone paid me to ! You don't get a second chance to make a first impression! On to the next !

Yelp
One of the best coffees I've had in long time! ZOE is such a cute coffee shop in the heart of Poverty Ridge. It's easily accessible with lots of street parking in a quieter part of Midtown. I came for the pupusas, but ended up ordering coffee as well to go. I ordered two cheese and jalapeño pupusas and the iced pistachio mocha. The coffee flavor was strong and bold, and you could taste the subtle notes of nuts and chocolate. I still dream of this drink! The pupusas were delicious, but arguably overpriced. I loved the red salsa that it was served with. Service was good, and you can tell that this is a spot with lots of regulars! I couldn't recommend this coffee shop enough and it might be my top contender for best coffee in Sac!

Jess F.

Yelp
WHY ARE YOUR TACOS PRE-MADE?! I went bc where else can you find tacos and coffee together....latte was 4/10. I passed on the tacos bc they were pre-made and sitting in a warmer probably soggy.

Yelp
Absolutely loved ZOE Coffee & Tacos for my first bite of Sacramento. Came here with a friend and enjoyed my vegan pupusa with pickled veggies & salsa and my agua fresca flight. All the drinks were great but my fave was the cantaloupe one. I'm not vegan just dairy free (not by choice), so it was really awesome to see a cheese-free option! & I love pupusas so it was so delish. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Interior is small but charming. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
In the past, there have been plenty of times where I've found my way to a place rather serendipitously, but I don't think any of those occasions were as fated as this. On a random walk through the neighborhood one night, we happened to pass by ZOE Coffee and and commented about how cozy it looked, but kept on by without thinking much else about it. Fast forward to just two days later and I found myself scouring through the Yelp app in search of a coffee shop that was open at 6:30 in the morning. Little did I know that the the promise of coffee and breakfast tacos would bring me straight back to here! Stepping inside, I was surprised how this place looked smaller than it did from the outside. Yet, at the same time, I was impressed by how there's still decent amount of seating across the handful of counter seats, tables, and bench seating. Similarly, the menu here is rather modest, albeit with a rather interesting mix of things to choose from. While their array of coffees and teas are a bit more straightforward, their slate of aguas frescas all sound so refreshing and their food options are rather tantalizing, from their namesake breakfast tacos to their pupusas and pan dulce! Since it's literally what drew me here in the first place, it was a given that I was going to get one of their BREAKFAST TACO ($6) to go with my DRIP COFFEE ($3.50), despite how tempting their pupusas sounded. Sadly, there were only two options to pick from (meat and vegetarian), but, thankfully, the former had what I wanted anyways - Bacon, Potato, Egg, and Cheese. Now, while it may not have been much to look at (both in size and aesthetic), this was great! The taco is super filling, as it's packed from end to end, and everything complemented each other really well. What's more, their house-made tortillas were pretty solid, too (I worried they'd get mealy all wrapped up). The only thing I wish was different was that the bacon had been crispier (sausage or chorizo would've held up better). Along with my tasty breakfast taco and delicious coffee (bold and robust), the other highlight of my trip to ZOE Coffee was how friendly this place is. Not only was the worker super nice and patient with my slow, less than coherent answers to her questions (did I mention I was here at 6:30am and hadn't had coffee yet?), but my order came out really fast as well. I just wish this place had longer hours! A little odd to say considering how they seem to be one of the only neighborhood coffee shops in the area that are open at 6am, but I was bummed out when I tried to come back another day for an afternoon pick me up and saw that they closed at 1pm. I guess that just means I'll have to make a point of coming back another morning, though preferably a little later than the first time I was here... FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.

Yelp
This is a very cute new coffee shop, and one of the few places in Sacramento that offers breakfast tacos. I love that this business was able to go from more of a pop-up business to having their own location and they're doing a great job. I found street parking nearby and stopped in to order a latte ($6), bacon, potato, egg and cheese breakfast taco ($6), and a pork, cheese and bean pupusa ($6). I grabbed a seat and didn't wait long before all my food was ready. Inside they have a few single person tables, counter seating, and outside they have seating that is better for dates or meeting with others. This is a tinier cafe and wouldn't be good for groups but has a very chill vibe. I also enjoyed the music they were playing during my visit- a great variety of songs I already knew. The drink came out delicious and cold (it was an iced latte) and the food came out super hot and with salsa and hot sauce. The taco was a bit messy, wrapped in foil, but it was hefty and filled with a generous amount of bacon, potato egg and cheese. I really liked the sauce that came with it as well. The pupusa I ended up eating later but I loved it and actually preferred it to the taco, it was so flavorful. I would go back for more of all their items though. They also just started offering chocolate chip cookies, I didn't get one on my last visit but I may have to next time.

Yelp
I had a latte with their house-made vanilla syrup and my friend tried the coconut syrup. The coconut was a seasonal syrup, and both of them were delicious! We both had a taco, and one was a pretty good size, they were both fresh and flavorful. Their salsa was really good and is available to purchase if you want to take some home. Initially, I thought coffee and tacos were a weird combo but I enjoyed it. The shop is really small, there are a few tables inside and a few outside. We went around 9 on a Saturday, and there was a steady stream of people the whole time. The shop is on a corner and there's a ton of street parking available.

Yelp
Zoe Tacos and Coffee is such a great Midtown spot! You can grab tasty breakfast tacos and a good cup of coffee all in one place. I love that everything--from the food to the pastries--is gluten sensitive and made in-house. They even make a variety of sauces in-house, which really takes the flavors up a notch. The workers were extremely friendly, and I loved seeing how much they enjoyed working together--it gives the place such a warm and welcoming vibe. It's a cute spot, and I definitely recommend stopping

Yelp
First time here for breakfast. Bacon potato breakfast taco was great much bigger too than I anticipated. Iced mocha had a great taste to it. The papusas were tasty too. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there and the staff were very nice and friendly. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day it's a bit small inside anyway. Great experience!

Yelp
Really cute shop and friendly staff! The cortado was excellent and my daughter enjoyed her matcha. The inside is smaller than it looks online but we were able to snag a seat. If you like to EAT and will have multiple plates/cups, you may want to grab a seat at the counter or outside once the weather is warmer. Parking was pretty easy, even on a Saturday!

Yelp
After 1 year in service, Zoe is still a reliable place for a bite and craft coffee I love the mix of class and practicality in the espresso service and the entire place keeps this high/low flair. The food and coffee are perfect on a busy morning, and the service is impeccable. I was this place could be a mainstay coffee spot in my neighborhood, and it looks like it will be here to last. Love it!

Yelp
If you have read any of my past reviews for coffee shops, you know that one of my favorite ways to catch up with friends and colleagues is over a cup of Jane (sometimes a cup of Jane paired with a walk around the surrounding areas). When a friend of mine suggested that we meet up for coffee, I looked at my bookmarks within the Yelp app and found ZOE Coffee & Tacos. I was initially informed about Zoe Coffee & Tacos via a review written by close friend of mine and fellow Yelp Elite, Jenee D (follow her if you're interested in comprehensive reviews). When I walked up to the establishment, I was intrigued by the huge window that allowed for a clear view into the shop and allowed patrons to have an open view of the surrounding areas. I also loved the how the outdoor seating is positioned in a way where everyone is encompassed by shade (an essential during a hot sunny day). Upon entry, I was greeted by a friendly and quirky employee who danced her way to the cashier when I was ready to order (I love when people mix professionalism with personality). I placed an order for an iced Lavender Latte and the daily special breakfast taco (per the suggestion of the employee). Roughly five minutes later, the same employee kindly delivered our orders to the outside table that we were seated at. After the first bite of the taco, I knew that I made the right choice. Thankfully, I had breakfast prior to arrival; otherwise, I probably would have ordered two more tacos. The taco was already delicious as-is; however, the spicy sauce took it to another level! The iced lavender latte was a perfect decision for an already hot morning and provided me with the caffeine I needed to tackle a busy day. Coffee and tacos definitely seems like a bizarre pairing; however, I must say that it works! Thank you Zoe Coffee & Tacos, I will be back soon!

Yelp
Stopped by Zoe on a Saturday at 11am. By this time, they had already run out of pupusas (bummer!) so we opted for the carnitas taco with a side of cortido and mild salsa. The taco itself was very full, had good flavor and the added cortido really hit the spot. They serve temple coffee and my vanilla latte rang up at 6$ (which is a bargain for temple). It was delicious! I can't wait to return and hopefully try their pupusas! There is extremely limited seating which is the only downside. So, it is definitely not accommodating for large groups that want to sit down and relax.

Yelp
To those of you that already know "ZOE Coffee & Tacos" already know that they have been an established mobile catering business for several years. Not only does that bring a buffet-styled taco bar with meats, tortillas, salsas and drink but ALSO an espresso bar + barista! However, in addition to their catering business, they finally opened their own brick-and-mortar location in late-May 2024. Located at the corner of 22nd and S St's in Midtown Sacramento, this was once the site of a ghost kitchen, a cookie store, and various other businesses before that. I came here during the morning of Sunday 6/9/2024 at around 9:15am. As of June 2024, their hours are quite limited only being open from 6am-12pm but they are opened 7 days a week. I think the concept for offering full-on espresso & coffee drinks combined with Mexican food (breakfast tacos) and Salvadorean food (pupusas), this is a winning combination. They also carry a small amount of sweet, savory treats including a Tres Leches cake amongst other items. The interior layout is rather small but still has enough tables and seats for about a dozen customers. There are also bench-styled seats outside to fit at least another dozen customers. However, it was very busy during my visit since this place was still brand new to town, Considering this was my first time trying this place out, I really wanted to capture what their business is all about. Therefore, I went with an "Iced Mexican Mocha" complete with their "Breakfast Taco" (in bacon/potato/egg/cheese). The taco itself included a side of their signature ZOE salsa. After paying the cashier, my taco is handed to me only a mere seconds later (as they were pre-made, heated up, and wrapped in foil). Overall taste is above average as they loaded the tortilla up with all the fillings. My drink is ready only a couple of minutes after that and is made to perfection. What I liked is that it wasn't overbearingly sweet while providing me with enough caffeine and sugar to fuel me through the day. All in all, ZOE Coffee & Tacos is the best of both worlds to what we all enjoy. With that said and done, I am giving this new spot a unanimous five-star Yelp review.

Yelp
I patiently waited for this place to open. I'd be lying if I said I had concerns. Coffee & tacos? Not a classic pairing. And then I come to find that the tacos are actually breakfast tacos. My concerns grew. But for naught. I came here early morning as I see later in the day the large crowds this place attracts. I ordered a cheese/jalapeño pupusa (I know, not a taco, but I was surprised by the inclusion of this Salvadoran treat so I changed gears) and an espresso shot. They use Temple beans for their coffee and they pulled a very good shot the morning I visited. And they serve the shot with a side of sparkling water (classic!) in a teeny, tiny, plastic cup that was a replica of the cups you'd get at a pizza place in the 80s. So cute. The pupusa came with pickled cabbage and a very spicy salsa (at my request). The salsa was delicious and muy picante. The pupusa was maybe a smidge under seasoned but well made; the salsa and cabbage helped. The staff were extremely nice. The product was very good. I'm glad I live near here. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
If there's a new coffee shop in town, you bet you can find me there! We arrived early so we luckily didn't have to wait in any long lines. We were greeted by happy staff and I think the owner and her daughter. It's a tiny quaint little corner spot but there is actually a fair amount of seating inside (very comfy!) and tables and benches outside too. The menu is pretty standard for their drinks, and only one seasonal drink, so I hope they'll expand the menu to more seasonal/specialty drinks too! I decided on a chai latte with vanilla for sweetener and oatmilk. It was definitely on the spicier side for the chai spices but it was so good! I was especially excited for the food options since not all coffee shops have great food. We had to get a taco and a pupusa so we could try one of each! The bacon egg cheese potato taco is loaded but compact like a burrito, so it's easy to eat. But the chicken and cheese pupusa was my favorite bite. It's so cheesy but crisp on the outside. You can pick medium (red) or hot (green) salsa but the green was by far my favorite! The red was more of a roasted flavor if you're into that. The green was perfect spice level for me. Everything came out so quickly, and service was awesome. Definitely a place I want to support again!

Yelp
I came here with my coworker for lunch. We love trying new coffee shops around Downtown as we need our caffeine fix! This place is tiny in case you plan on staying awhile. Luckily, another couple was leaving so we were able to snag some seats. We both enjoyed our breakfast tacos. Initially, I thought they were small but I was full after one taco. I think it's how the tortilla is made. You also get salsa options and the mild green sauce added the perfect kick to my taco. I also appreciate that you can still order them until 1pm. I'll definitely be back to try their pupas!!

Yelp
This place popped up on during a yelp search for breakfast options and somehow I'd missed this place has been open for almost a year I tried the pork taco and papusa options, and both were delicious. Ordered a mocha with cherry syrup as well, and was pleasantly surprised. Alot of places have sugary syrups; not here, it was actually a cherry taste which works with chocolate Great breakfast spot that i'll be adding to the rotation

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday morning and I loved how charming this coffee spot is! It had a very laid back vibe and the baristas were very helpful. My cappuccino was made to perfection and my breakfast tacos weee delicious!
