As a Dutchy, I’m very disappointed. The bitterballen are large, burnt and served with honey mustard. They don’t taste yummy. Barely any meat in them at all. The fries are crinkle fries and the mayo doesn’t taste like frietsause. The “patat-je” oorlog barely had any pinda (peanut) sauce.

My husband and I recently visited Zoet Sweet Boutique, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive not just to us, but to every guest in the place. I ordered the cod fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. My husband went with the special of the day, and he loved his meal just as much. To top it all off, we shared a monster banana split for dessert, and wow it was to die for! A perfect ending to a great meal. We'll definitely be back!

Great ice cream! The staff was very friendly and helpful with our order. The flavor selection was extensive and you can have a variety of ways to eat or drink your ice cream. A must place to visit for a treat while in the Punta Gorda area. They also serve food, but this time we only went for the ice cream.

Was passing through the area and decided to grab a quick bite. I ordered the falafel pita with fries. It was so good that I ordered one, to go, for my wife. We'll be back to try the homemade ice cream and other food items.

When you feel like you need some coffee but it is so stinking hot, you go here and have a double scoop coffee ice cream sundae. Delish!!

I don’t always eat ice cream but when I do, I go to Zoet. They also have a food menu. Good price. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. The Banana Split with everything on is GGRREEAATT! You won’t be disappointed. I promise you. Can be busy.

I have dined in and taken out this place is always on point. The food is great the treats even better. Love their Banana Split. I ordered a cake recently and they knocked it out of the park. It was perfect and delicious. They also made me chocolate taco shells so I could make choco tacos. Thanks for everything.

A dollar for a water? Ouch. Feels like the fair without the rides. The food was decent. Nice little dining room. I didn't get ice cream this trip but the last time I was here it was good.

How did I not try this place earlier. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly, efficient and attentive. The menu is absolutely amazing and we cannot wait to try everything! Clean restaurant and bathrooms. We had the Asian shrimp tacos which were out of this world and a great salad with plenty of grilled chicken. The waffle sundae for dessert was heavenly especially the chocolate marshmallow ice cream. Great job

We love this place. They have the best desserts and ice creams. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste it. We love the brownie sundaes, cookies and desserts in the case. We also ate dinner here one night as well. The food was good and fresh. They make their own dressings and they were so good!! Their homemade chips were the best I've ever had. They're so thin and crispy. We don't live in FL but we always come here when we're in town.

Wow! The ice cream here is unbelievably good. We stopped for gas while traveling on I-75 and wanted something sweet. This came up when looking for ice cream. Love supporting locally owned places. Bonus... it has bakery items also and sandwich selections if you need a meal. We chose a 2 scoop sundae of orange cream and raspberry chocolate swirl. Let me tell you they were filled with amazing flavor and no artificial orange coloring. We opted to have no syrup added but did add the nuts and whipped cream... which was great also...even different kinds of nuts sprinkled on including tiny pieces of almonds and walnuts. I wish I had taken a picture but we dove into it too quickly. We also bought a small bag of cherry white chocolate cookies and I had one already... again very good. It is probably a good thing we do not live close. We would be here way too often. Support this business. One tiny negative is the up charge if you use a credit card so bring cash. They do have a notice near the credit card machine which is at least better than others that are doing this.

I've had the chicken Greek pita and it was super delicious! I also totally recommend having the pistachio ice cream. I love it so much, I order it by the pint. Service and ambiance was good, I just didn't appreciate that I wasn't allowed to bring in my own water bottle into the restaurant. That's the only reason why I can't give it 5 stars. They won't serve you tap water and will only sell you water bottles. This water policy should be removed.

Do not let the name and description fool you, Zoet has so many wonderful things including actual food and not just treats. My wife and I had a late lunch there recently. I had the delicious Coconut Shrump Po boy and my wife had the fish and chips. My sandwich was absolutely perfect for the obviously hand made coconut shrimp and a house made boom boom sauce. My wife's fish and chips was obviously fresh fried and had delicious chips with it. And that is in the best sense possible. The nice fried on the outside but fluffy inside fries more commonly found in Europe than here in the US. We also ordered my side of fries as "Dutch" style. Which is with a Dutch peanut sauce, mayo, and finely chopped onions as toppings. Now it's not for everyone but I'd say if you're adventurous, try it. I loved it. My wife was ok with it. And then WWE hit the desserts. So it has two entrances but to the same space, but one side is food and the other is sweets/bakery. We ordered several cookies. All great. Chocolate chip are the best but they were all good. And we each had a scoop of their handmade ice cream. And they make it. My wife went a safe route with vanilla with some hot fudge. I got the Speculoos "Cookie Butter" ice cream. Liaten, I've lived in the SWFL area since I was a child. It almost pains me to say this. I thought it was better than Love Boat. AND the cookie butter ice cream was better than the official Bisscoff one in stores. Highly recommend. Oh and I almost forgot the staff. They were so nice, polite, giant smiles, helpful with the menu. They were excellent

Freshly made food and always delicious. Interesting specials too. Don't leave without their homemade ice cream and cookies. Sausage rolls are awesome. Chicken salad sandwich is a fave. Great service.

What a cute place. Only there for desert, but the place is so clean, staff friendly and food looks very good. Will be back

Overall 4.5/5 Food 4.5/5 Ordered creme brûlée with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream: one of the BEST creme brûlée I have ever had. It was light and well sweetened and had a nice caramel crunch! Big big recommend! I also got the affogato with coconut ice cream: sooooo good! I probably should have ordered something that didn't require much chewing Bc there are coconut pieces in the ice cream, but that's my own fault. Doesn't take away how yummy the affogato was and the coconut ice cream! Definitely will be back for that I ordered a single scoop sundae as well! It was pretty good. My only comment was the enormous amount of fudge on it. The ice cream had a chocolate fudge moat around it! I'm not that big into fudge so it wasn't my favorite, but otherwise, great! Atmosphere/service 4/5: it cute! They had some bakery items. The place has a wall splitting the rooms in half. I felt like I wasn't sure where to go. It wasn't clear how I was going to get my food, but I eventually received it, so it all ended well, but I felt like there wasn't clear communication. The staff was very friendly, though!

Everyone here is incredibly friendly and the ice cream is delicious! The place was also clean and inviting. We can't wait to come back to try more ice cream flavors and even some of the food!

The BEST ice cream ever! Plus their cookies, pastries, sandwiches all phenomenal! Employees are super friendly and the whole vibe there is great. Nice seating areas sure you don't have to eat your ice cream while it melts in the Florida sun (unlike most ice cream shops locally). It's a must if you have family coming to visit- there is something for everyone, including no sugar added ice cream and dairy free sorbet.

Everything is amazing! Their lemonade is so good! Wish there were more no-sugar items, but there is still plenty to choose from!

Ordered a Ruben sandwich to go. It came with fries. Service was great. Sandwich was good. Hubby & I enjoyed it. Will be back.

This is my first time to the restaurant portion of the Zoet. I have had ice cream there in the past and it was delicious. Very sweet and extremely creamy. I went there with my son and had lunch on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy and they make everything to order so if there's a line be prepared to wait. My son had the 4 ounce burger with french fries and I had the mahi sandwich special. Both of them took about 15 minutes to come out and both were delicious. They do not have free refills on drinks so make sure you prepare and conserve your drink. We decided to get ice cream which was once again great. They have a lot of baked sweets as well but we didn't get any. The atmosphere is fun and bright and we would definitely return. I ordered to go food for my wife and daughter and it turned out delicious as well. If you are in Punta Gorda or just getting off the interstate it's worth the stop here for a meal.

This place is amazing!! I had heard such wonderful things and was dying to check it out. After a day of running errands, my mom and I popped in. I got a scoop of chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone. It was huge and under $3! We were both amazed at the portions at such great prices. The ice cream itself was perfect; creamy and slightly chewy, took a long time to melt. The waffle cone was super light and crispy and never got soggy. My mom had a beer from their great selection. The staff was soooo friendly and we noticed from their constant smiles that it seems like they really love their work! We will definitely be returning again soon!!

We stopped in last night (7/2/22) in attempt to be fun parents and let our daughter "ruin her dinner" with some pre-dinner dessert. Believe it or not, she opted out of ice cream and got their small order of GIANT fries! My husband had 3 scoops and being the indecisive human I am I asked for recommendations from the sweet girl working the register (I believe her name was Grace) she recommended Cookie Butter and said I'd need something less sweet for my second scoop to balance it out, she said Coffee would be a good choice to which I wholeheartedly agreed. I had her surprise me with a cone flavor (they have vanilla or chocolate). She brought it out in a chocolate cone (her favorite) and it was delightful! I appreciate all the recommendations. Their ice cream is PERFECT! Not too hard like some places, but it is not soft serve. Oh... and the fries were so good our daughter refused to share, causing my husband to have to order his very own. We live almost 30 minutes away, but whenever we are down in PG we HAVE to stop!

We're visiting from Phoenix and stopped here for lunch. The food and the service is outstanding. Unfortunately after a super Cheese Steak sandwich there wasn't room to sample the ice cream selections. But no worries....we'll definitely be back. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing. It was highly recommended. And it was spot on the young women who waited on us was funny and engaging. And very helpful. My boyfriend had the Turkey club and he said it was very good The cheeseburger was very large and the flavor was one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. And the banana split the fact that they make different sizes is great but again it was a 10. I highly recommend this restaurant. From the moment you walk it the door it's a ten. Clean and beautiful pictures on the walls.

Of course the sweets are good but let's talk about the patty melt-delicious-one of the best I've had. Good customer service and nice atmosphere.

I am always on the look out for new bakeries to satisfy my sweet tooth, so I was excited to see a new bakery in Punta Gorda! Zoet Sweet Boutique is located in the Winn Dixie plaza. I tried the highly raved about "Stroopwaffle" which comes in a package of 8 pieces for $5. Stroopwaffle has a cinnamon sugar filling sandwiched between two thin waffles. I think Zoet is the only place in town you can get this delicious pastry! Stroopwaffles are already packaged and convenient to take home. I also tried the Liege waffle which has a slightly sweet chewy and dense texture. This batter is different from the typical belgian waffle. They have two kinds of waffle: Liege (chewy) and Brussels (crispy). The waffle was $3 and would have tasted great by itself, but I added a scoop of HOUSEMADE Nutella ice cream. They have an assortment of baked goods, ice cream, and coffee. They also serve lunch items. The place has several tables so you can come with a group or just stop in to pick up some treats and be on your way. I highly recommend Zoet Sweet Boutique!

Shocked that I wanted a taste of the Mango as I was interested in trying. Reply "We don't do that". Really? Never been to an ice cream store that didn't offer a try. So I asked is the Mango purée or chunks, again, would have thought that was an easy question. No reply! If the owner was here, we would have been treated like a valued customer. Came for a light lunch, stayed for dessert and have been back every week since with family and lots of friends. We have ordered across the menu...wraps, sandwiches, soups, specials, salads...always fresh and always delicious. I love the small house garden chicken salad $4.00 in particular. Also, fun to get the chicken salad sandwich only in a wrap. The staff is so nice like they have sugar running through their veins. From where do such nice people hail? What I love the most about Zoet's is the utter freshness of their foods thereby providing vibrant and healthy tasting offerings. Truly, this is one of their most impressive traits. For me, in the end, it's all about the food.

Food is excellent, staff & owners are nice to everyone and go above and beyond to make sure customers are more than satisfied with service, food, and experience! We started coming when they 1st opened (actually they hadn't had their grand opening yet, but we were hungry & they just started cooking ) in support of local businesses. Now we eat here for major life events: baptisms, 1st communion, guests from out of state, cuz we're hungry...The owners are from Holland and know what hospitality is! SHE painted & decorated the whole thing herself! And the desserts are outta this world, roll your eyes in the back of your head delicious !!

Zoet is our go to place for lunch and ice cream. At times we feel like we live there. The record is 3 times in one day. They go out of their way, to make their customers feel welcomed. Always clean and inviting. Of course I wait every week for my favorite ..... carrot cake. No matter what you order ... you know it is fresh and homemade. If you are in Punta Gorda you need to seek out this hidden gem. Once you entered the first time as a customer, you leave feeling like you are part of the family.

Zoet Sweet Boutique brought their amazing sweet trailer to our pool party and it was a wonderful addition! The homemade ice cream, sundaes, and desserts were absolute delicious! Residents have asked how soon can we have the truck come back again. Sharon set her truck up on time and was very friendly while she served bringing a smile to all that stepped up to her window. I would highly recommend Zoet for your next event!

From legoland to 75 found this hidden gem!! Definitely coming back! Very delicious!!! Great atmosphere and the right price --- perfect and amazing!! We got peanut butter chocolate milkshakes this round; going to try more flavors and Dutch items next round!

Like others have said, this place is a hidden gem! Everything we've tried has been wonderful with very nice presentation. We ordered the peanut butter brussels waffle and a stroopwafel milkshake -omg so good! The shop is adorable, the ice cream is fantastic and the staff is so friendly. I could go on about this place, but you should just go and try it for yourself - I know we're happy that we did, we will be back for sure!

Wow, non-descript from the outside but EXCELLENT food. The inside is extremely clean, modern and enjoyable. Went to the sandman bookstore in a neighboring strip mall and they recommended we get ice cream here. Got ice cream and a splurged on a tasty sandwich thingy. Ok, the prices are reasonable and food is good.

Zoet Sweet Boutique will send you into a heavenly bliss! Everything from the waffles, shakes and homemade ice cream is absolutely divine. The shop smells so good when you enter. I absolutely adore this place, it never disappoints! I highly recommend checking this place out you won't be sorry and you will find your new dessert haven!

Super cute little shop! We stopped by for coffee and decided to get a couple of scoops of ice cream, too. Homemade ice cream - delish! Creamy and fresh!! Wish we lived closer to stop by more frequently for a treat or two. Employees were very friendly. Next time we are in town, we will be back !

So first experience at this shop was absolutely horrible the girl running the register was an absolute bitch and they treated my girlfriend and I like we were second class Americans. Definitely will not be back and wouldn't recommend anyone to come here after seeing how much different they treated all the other customers compared to us.

Cute place. Salmon club sandwich had a generous amount of salmon. Service was fast and friendly.
