Zog’s

I was visiting from Texas for my birthday, and what an amazing hidden treasure I found by accident! I was here for a week, visited three times, and enjoyed the hard cider, service, and food!

Great pizza place on Fox Island. It’s I. The back of a gas station but don’t let that deter you, it adds to the character! Ordered a cheese and Thai chili chicken to go, both were tasty. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Great place to have a drink outside with Mother Nature.

Incredible place! Truly a hidden gem. Looks like a regular gas station until you walk through the gas station convenience area.

Wow this place is amazing. I arrived early but they let me come in. Pizza is amazing and the staff was very welcoming! This is a true find!

Awesome secret hide out. Walk through the store and take a right and you step into a bar that would resemble a cabin in the mountains. Make sure you step outside and see the beautiful gardens, water features and fire pits. Do forget to tip your awesome staff. Beers always change so there is lots of variety.

Ok so Zogs is awesome. Vibe is spectacular. Great tap selection. Pizza comes with a perfect crust, Excellent cheese quality, And a very generous toppings portion. Spend your money here!!!! 2 negatives in my opinion. Both minor things. Won't stop me from coming back in. The first is I wish they had a sign somewhere that explained the the layout and procedures. As a newcomer, I was a little confused on how to pay. Of course I can just ask the extremely kind folks. But a sign would be nice. The other MINOR complaint is the the sauce for the chicken bacon ranch pizza didn't really taste like anything. Was basically a chicken bacon pizza. Which with how awesome the topping quality is, was just fine. But I couldn't help but want some sauce taste with each bite.

This is about the only place on the island to get restaurant food, a glass of wine, or great craft beer. I have been here on a number of occasions, and it has always been wonderful. There is both indoor seating and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is on a deck and also down some stairs. The area down the stairs is like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The next time we visit, we plan to try the pizza and sit outside by the water feature. I wish I didn't live 500 miles away.
