Hi everyone! I wanted to share my terrible experience with this company. We ordered a proof from this company before the full set purchase. We received the proof several days late. Once we received it, we made edits to our invitation and ordered it right away. When we received the full set of invitations, they were incorrect. Instead of sending us our edited invitations, they had just reprinted the original proof. This is completely their fault, as to order the invitations, we have to go through the one draft we editted and click all the way through to process. When we reached out to their customer service, they were not helpful and told us they’d get back to us within 24 hours. They did not. When we did get a response from them, they said that usually doesn’t happen so they were not willing to give us a full refund or help us expedite order a new set. I am so completely devastated by this whole process. I feel scammed. Like they just took my money and left me helpless. Please save yourselves some tears and find another company to entrust your important day to.

I’m using Zola as one of my wedding registries, and I am seriously considering deleting my registry with them and letting my guests know not to use Zola. It’s the absolute worst. Nothing is ever in stock and they don’t notify you when items on your registry go out of stock. They also do not notify you when a gift purchased for you off your registry is delayed in shipping or back ordered. One of my parents bought us a wine fridge off of Zola and it was bought while in stock. It was then back ordered twice and I was never notified. The only way to know is to inquire and follow up yourself. Then, after many emails back and forth with customer service, they canceled my gift and said it was no longer in stock. Really horrible wedding registry. I will never, ever recommend Zola to any couples getting married in the future. It’s the absolute worst and such a disappointment. I’m so happy that I also registered with Crate&Barrel, which is a legitimate company.

Google
As a recent bride, I do not recommend Zola for your registry unless you want an unnecessary headache and a lot of stress. Their website designs are fine and RSVP function works, but the registry is what just kills them. Nothing is ever in stock. They allow you to purchase and ship items, and then a few days later say the item is out of stock. They'll only refund you in Zola credits, so you basically waste your money and get credits in return. Credits WOULD be nice....if you could find anything in stock to order.... Their customer service reps use the same excuse over and over again. It's exhausting. Just save yourself some time and energy and register directly through stores.

Brian B.

Google
This company is a total disaster. We ordered items through them almost 2 months ago. When we ordered, the items did not say anything about being backordered. Now, every two weeks, the ship date pushes back two more weeks. Meanwhile, every other retailer (Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Oxo, etc.) has the items in stock. Somehow, these people can’t get their hands on the items. Just a total disgrace. We already moved our registry off the site months and months ago because their customer service is so awful. Unfortunately, we had some credit to use here and got exactly what we expected: excuses, no service, and no deliveries. Whatever you do, don’t use Zola. You’re better off not getting any gifts because at least there won’t be a headache to go with them. In sum, Zola is a sham and a scam.

X Y.

Google
From a guest perspective, this website isn't user friendly. They should have the couple's info like address where it's easily accessible. The only way to access it is when you are about to purchase an item and it only shows up once and too bad if you don't copy the address because you will never find the address again. If you are taken to a third-party vendor like Amazon to purchase the gift, you are screwed if you don't have the address. Zola will take you to another vendor to purchase a gift and will remind you to remember to return to Zola after purchasing the gift so they can track the gifts. But there is no way for you to return to Zola to indicate that you've purchased the gift. You have to CALL THEM. Very inconvenient and FRUSTRATING!!!! There are better wedding registries and more user friendly.

Lauren W.

Google
Between the website and the registry, I found Zola to be very flexible, customizable, and easy to use. However, I registered for a Dyson vacuum, which someone gifted to us and Zola stopped carrying that model, meaning we have ~$600 in Zola store credit that I can't use to buy my preferred vacuum. I emailed them more than a week ago to ask about options for this, and have not heard back! Serious failing of customer service here!

The Lighting G.

Google
Lights are on, but No One Is Home! tried to register as a vendor with their website for weddings two months ago. At the end of the process, the website says that "someone will email you about the next steps." Two months ago! and I've gone through the process several times. As far as a wedding service customer service this is beyond unacceptable. Seriously, this business might be closed and the last person out the door forgot to turn off the lights.

Stephanie L.

Google
I was really excited to use Zola. It’s very easy to use and love they have options for a honeymoon fund, experiences, etc. Some categories are more limited than others and I have had about 10 items go temporarily out of stock and I’m still 4 months out until our wedding. When I reached out to Zola to understand if there is an ETA for out of stock items they told me there isn’t and my best bet would be to find a similar item. I already spent a lot of time putting my registry together in the first place. My shower is in 3 weeks so I need to keep this registry. If I could do it over again I wouldn’t go this route though. Returning a damaged product has been a hassle. It took 10 days to get a response on how to get a full refund because I kept only getting a partial refund.

Yelp
Zola is great and makes wedding planning less stressful! They are understanding and work efficiently with you and meet your needs. Definitely recommend!

Lauren M.

Yelp
I used Zola to keep track of my guest list/RSVP, create a wedding website, registry, and paper save the dates. Everything I created and purchased from Zola looked amazing, but what I was really impressed with was the amazing customer service every time I had a question. I had to call their customer service help line a few times, and the people on the other end took such good care of me. I really value great customer service, and for that reason alone I would recommend Zola again and again!

H F.

Yelp
I had the best representative help me with my ordering of a gift for a bridal shower! She was so friendly, polite and patient with me! Great customer service!

Melissa P.

Yelp
I have had nothing but a great experience with Zola thus far in my wedding planning process. They go the extra mile to help you with discount codes as well. I'm very excited to see our save the dates!

Jacob G.

Yelp
TRY AND REDEEM YOUR GIFT CARDS Months after our wedding and after our gifts were purchased they are difficult to redeem, when you try and use them it takes several days, we had a trip planned thinking our Air bnb girfcard would make the trip affordable, unfortunately they won't give is the gift card and it will take several days to redeem. better off just to get gifts the traditional way, i could get online and order a digital gift card in 5 minutes but they will hold your money hoping you never cash in so they can keep it. SHADY

Alexa R.

Yelp
Zola was great for organizing our guest lists and for putting together a gift registry. I'd really like to give a shout out to Mye in the customer service department for being so friendly and helpful!

Yelp
Our wedding is in less than three months, and so far Zola has delivered. That being said, I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the messaging feature, which is something I was counting on for RSVP reminders. The only options are to: a) Use the pre-set RSVP reminder message which does not include the RSVP deadline, wedding date, or any other pertinent information like "please respond even if you can't attend" or "response required for meal selections" b) Use the free email feature to write custom emails. This will not work for me because I did not collect all emails and know the majority of our guests wouldn't check them / filter to spam. c) Pay a whopping $60 for custom messaging, schedule sends, and ability to make specific message groups. This service is completely free of charge on The Knot. So, I guess I'll be paying $60 to write a custom message...most expensive text I've ever sent. Truly terrible Zola - I'd recommend some stronger competitor research and not charging people for basic, necessary functions. I'm sincerely hoping that we don't have any issues with the cash funds and items on our registry, as I've already seen some negative reviews, and it's too late to go back now.

Yelp
i was excited to to find a set of 4 bowls on their website, however when I received them I only received 1 bowl. customer service apologized and said that they would send the remaining items. I just received an email today that said that the price paid (even though it said it was a set of 4) was only for 1 bowl. they are now saying that even though the promised to send the remaining items they are now not going to honor the description and my receipt and simply said "sorry".

Victoria S.

Yelp
Do not use. They are not responsive. I was on hold for 30-plus minutes. I then followed their suggestions to leave a voicemail. I did that. No one ever got back to me. I then emailed them at support@zola.com with a very simple but specific question. I got an auto response that had absolutely nothing to do with my question. I had no choice but to cancel my gift to the bride and groom.

Taylin T.

Yelp
I love Zola! It has been a fun and straightforward tool in what could be such a stressful process! Their customer service is great too! I had an issue and they immediately and generously resolved it, even though I am the one who made a mistake. I'd recommend Zola to anyone planning a wedding. Ps the $60 dollar fee for custom test messaging is so worth it, would you want to individually text every single guest? Sounds like a lot to keep organized to me! Weddings are not cheap, you have to expect some costs to get things done well, and Zola does them well!

Layli L.

Yelp
ZOLA IS A SCAM. I have had to fight for everything on my registry. Do not use. If Zola would like to change my opinion- please get me the vacuum I ordered 6 weeks ago.

Margaret B.

Yelp
I think overall my daughter had a pretty good experience with Zola, but out of all three publications; the save the date, invitation and thank yous, there were typos on every single one. She also said navigating the thank you postcards was very challenging.

Yelp
My wife and I have had an account and wedding website with Zola since August 2019. We got engaged in June 2018 and our wedding was originally planned for May 2020. COVID happened and our wedding was postponed twice, first to May 2021 and second to April 2022. Throughout this extended wedding "engagement" and planning period (over 3.5 years), we kept our Zola account and wedding website active. I'd had experience with Zola before as a wedding guest, ordering gifts and RSVPing to weddings. This was my first time on the other side, as a groom. Overall, I've had nothing but good experiences with Zola. In general, I thought it was a great platform to help manage some aspects of our wedding. We used Zola for: * Purchasing our wedding website domain (Zola Domains) * Hosting our wedding website (www.burapalieverafter.com) * Designing our wedding website * Hosting and keeping track of our registry lists and gifts * Collecting RSVPs for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception The site was simple and easy to use. We had a wedding planner. I think she was the one who recommended we use Zola. My wife was more involved and remembers the details better than me. Following our planner's lead, we didn't use Zola for everything. We used competing products for other purposes. For example, other services we used were: * Aisle Planner, for budget/expense tracking, guest list, and scheduling/timelines * Minted, for paper save-the-dates (for our original wedding date in 2020) and invitations (twice, once for our original wedding date in 2020 and again for our final wedding date in 2022) * Paperless Post, for digital save-the-dates (for our final wedding date in 2022) and address collection (for our final wedding date in 2022) Thankfully, I could lean on our planner and my wife to stay on top of everything and keep everything straight. I was in charge of purchasing the domain. Beginning in August 2019, I purchased and manually renewed our domain annually at a total cost of $15.13 per year ($14.95 + $0.18 taxes and fees each year). The price never increased from 2019 to 2020 to 2021 to 2022. Purchasing and maintaining domains is done through a separate website, Zola Domains. Zola Domains isn't as user-friendly, but it gets the job done. Our planner, my wife, and I all worked on our wedding website together. This is where I spent the most of my time on Zola - working on our wedding website. We didn't need anything fancy. The usual template with some customization and personal touches was good enough for us. I thought our website turned out great. It had a clean and classy design. We were all very happy with it. Unlike the aforementioned Aisle Planner, which was our main online "base" of operations, and our custom domain name, Zola was free. We noticed Zola subtly (and not-so-subtly) pushes its own products as we used the site. I can't blame them - they need to make money somehow. For example, Zola sells their own catalog of registry gifts. They made it easy to integrate their products into the registry section of our website, but we had to link externally to outside vendors like Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, and Williams-Sonoma. As far as our honeymoon fund went, Zola scraped 2.5% off the top of all cash received. For example, if someone gifted $100 into our honeymoon fund, Zola would charge them $102.50. We'd receive $100 and Zola would take a cut of $2.50.

Yelp
Terrible!!!!!!! This company discriminates and is not worth your time. You're better to use the Knot or Weddingwire.

Misty B.

Yelp
I recently purchased 20 upload your own magnet save the dates. I had to do upload your own because the fonts kept reverting during check out. I got a design together and ordered a proof. Then after reviewing the proof I decided to make different changes. I changed the size of the url and rearranged the order of the photos. My fiance and I both double checked the new design when checking out and it was the updated design. However when we received our order it appears the system reverted them back to the design of the proof. I contacted Zola to make it right and they refused to accept accountability and claimed it was my mistake. I'd believe that if it wasn't also reviewed by my fiance. So the only solution they offered was a 40% discount. I shouldn't have to pay more for their systems errors. Will get my invites and everything else now from Shutterfly.

Yelp
I want to give a shout out to Zola being a great tool for our wedding planning. We had a quick turn around from engagement and things went very smoothly. I liked the wedding website tool - very easy to use. The ability to create a group gift of a travel experience for contributions was especially important and worked great (we were fully funded!) We had a great customer service experience as well when I contact them about an item on the registry that we needed to change (since the husband can't use left handed golf clubs!)

Yelp
Great place to have a wedding registry, but us old folks had some problems. Once we selected the item to buy for our neighbor's daughter, and opted to purchased the item, we were directed to the wedding site which asked if we had Purchased the item. We were not sure we had be clicking on the site. We had to call the company to figure out how to handle the gift. Thankfully, when we contacted the company, some helped us through the process (after 16 minutes through awful hold music) to get things done. We could not have the gift sent to their new home address since it was an independent seller. It seems that for us n our 70's , that there seems a better improvement.

Yelp
Terrible. Customer Service is NON-EXISTENT. If you have technical problems like I did on their wedding RSVP website and try to get support - it's impossible. You call their phone number and it literally says "WE ARE NOT TAKING PHONE CALLS AT THIS TIME" And this is every day. When you email them - they don't respond for days, and when they do respond, they don't even answer the question or address the problems they caused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Maureen G.

Yelp
I posted a wedding venue on Zola. In 3 years I never had a single lead turn into an event. All my weddings came from my Google listing & Eventective. At one point Zola even lost emails to me from brides for 4 months because they said they had a 'glitch' in their system. So I never even got the brides' inquiries to me until months later. I asked them to remove my listing and didn't respond for a week. I got 2 requests for info from brides since then and I cannot respond to them so this is Zola's way of punishing me for quitting their platform. They lower your ranking/reviews if you don't respond quickly but I can't respond without buying more credits. By the way, I am convinced that many of the supposed 'brides' who inquire are simply Zola staff members making a fake inquiry in order to get a vendor to think they are generating leads for you. Don't pay to be on this platform - it's definitely not worth it!
google avatar

Robert N.

Yelp
As a vendor, Zola was definitely not very friendly or easy to work with. The cost to simply SPEAK to the client is a little overwhelming. You have to pay per year, all at once, or for each individual credit. $12 each time. If you don't book that client, still out the $12. Contact customer service you say? I think if you read a few more reviews, you will see about that problem as well. Please look at other platforms when you are trying to locate your wedding vendors!

Yelp
My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Zola. We used Zola for our wedding website, RSVP tracker, registry, and even used their wedding album tool. We found that the website was very easy to use and enjoyed the registry items that were suggested. We've recommended the website to several friends. The album itself is BEAUTIFUL. This is an expensive purchase (about $400-500) but we had some left over funds in our account from our registry and Zola offered a 20% discount so we paid less than $200 total. We had several questions about the different materials used for the cover of the album, as well as the colors of the albums and a Zola representative answered all of them. Here's where Zola truly astounded us - we made an error in our order that was completely our fault but Zola offered to reprint it for us using the correct paper. FYI if you select the 700 gram paper, it comes out incredibly thick like the paperboard using for children's books. The 300 gram paper is still very thick and we are so happy with our album.

Sarra L.

Yelp
Oh my goodness!! Ailyn was so wonderful in helping us with our invitations! They helped me with my promo code that I was having trouble with and made sure I was whole! They always make sure to respond to each and every one of my emails and answer every single question! I will forever use zola! Always a great experience :) Thank you Ailyn!!!

Yelp
I used Zola for 6 months during my wedding planning (Sept. 2022 - March 2023) and would give them 5 stars. I had looked into The Knot first but gave up on that when I had a hard time searching for what I needed on there. This is why I liked Zola better. 1. Website and all paper invitations can be matched up and "branded". I am a former graphic designer and this was important to me. I hate disjointed invitations and websites but that's just my nerdy self. 2. Registry was easy to set up and send out to guests. When I had a couple of issues of gifts being bought but not arriving, the Zola support team was responsive and quickly helped solve the problem. 3. The Community page was a great place to seek advice and vent when nonsense was erupting during wedding planning. Even though I haven't and won't meet them, those brides helped me on my stressful days.

Yelp
I have been very pleased with Zola! The customer service has been outstanding. i was so pleased to hear back and how speedy the responses were from Customer Service. Mary and Jackie both were upbeat, eager to assist and were really genuine. I am reviewing this service based on all the registries for weddings I have purchased from. I have never personally had a registry with Zola which is why my review is four out of five stars. It would be interesting to have a perspective as the person using their services. Needless to say, it is wonderful to see that they offer invitations and save the dates as well For those planning a special event such as wedding, bridal shower. The free shipping was definitely an added bonus! Really great feature and would definitely be something that I mention having conversation with others. The only recommendation that I have is that gifts remain "a surprise" for the recipient and the option to have a ship date for a later time for the person providing the gift, It would be an awesome feature.

Dave L.

Yelp
Waay to gay. OMG, never again. The commercials are enough to make me sick. There service are as bad as their products

Megan T.

Yelp
I am planning our wedding on my own, and can absolutely say that Zola has been a huge help. The free website platform is very easy to use, and took little time to set up. It has been excellent for our registry, and they have great deals on printing. Not to mention, the addresses for guests you've input can be easily printed on the envelopes to save even more time. I did have a printing mix-up, but customer service was prompt and extremely helpful and provided options for remedy. As with anything, give yourself a little extra time to print in case anything is off. Zola has been an excellent tool, I would absolutely recommend it!

Tiffany W.

Yelp
UNETHICAL, SHADY, THIEFS. BE FOREWARNED!!!! We used Zola for our wedding registry, and things seemed to be okay UNTIL we tried to retrieve the funds our guests contributed to our Zola Cash Fund. That is when we learned that Zola appears to withhold registry cash funds and engages in extremely shady and unethical practices. After following Zola's protocols for transferring cash funds into our bank account, we received a message from Zola stating that the funds could not be transferred. After unsuccessfully re-trying several times, we called Zola. As another reviewer with a clearly similar experience, we were given run-around after run-around. We were also placed on several holds while the rep "spoke with the IT team for assistance," which lead to no resolution. When we finally asked to speak with a supervisor, we were told "that is not possible." When we asked to speak with someone in the IT department who the rep allegedly kept placing us on hold to speak with herself, we were told "that is not possible." When we finally expressed our concern that Zola appears to be intentionally preventing us from accessing our own wedding registry cash fund, the rep gave us some scripted line and hung up on us. Check Zola's Better Business Bureau reviews - we are clearly not the only ones with this experience... Had we known this, we would never have used Zola for anything. In the meantime, we are still trying to figure out how to get our money.

Yelp
Like other reviewers' experience, mine was awful. The ordering system for a couples' wedding gift has multiple, confusing discrepancies. And trying to get in touch with customer service is impossible................and when somebody did finally get back to me, they basically told me that they can't help me. Huh? If I ran my small business like they run theirs...............well, I would have no business.

Yelp
I purchased our custom wedding invites after reviewing my free samples. I went with Zola because of the option to add custom designs and my RSVP on the back. Zola also offers discounts that you can use, which is a big plus! especially when planning a wedding. when my invites came in some of the envelopes were damaged but Zola customer service did not hesitate to send me new envelopes with upgraded 2 day shipping. a very good experience and would highly recommend.

Jayni R.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend using them for a registry. Had several issues pre- and post-wedding that took many emails and calls to resolve. Most recently, we ordered two items from Piglet in Bed through Zola, and after a month with no shipping update, I reached out to customer service. One week of emails back and forth later, I'm still waiting on a resolution; the items are apparently backordered indefinitely, but Zola never reached out to tell me that, and it's taken several extra emails and phone calls just to hear that "it's on their radar" and they'll be canceling the order and refunding me. I have no idea when that will happen, and in the meantime, my money is held hostage. It's just not worth the grief - use a different registry.

Eric K.

Yelp
Their website is chaotic. I linked a bank account under my name to my wife's and my Zola page in anticipation of donations, but when I tried to wire funds from the website to my account after the wedding, it would not let me. It had me upload a driver's license to verify my identity and then proceeded to tell me I couldn't wire money, even though I had done so before and even though the bank account is under my name. It said I need to be my wife, which is confusing because -- again -- this was not the first time I had wired funds from Zola to that account using the exact same log-in credentials on Zola. To compound issues, they don't have a number I can call. So now my wife and I just have sizeable donations just sitting in a place I can't get to.

Yelp
Choose a different app and 100% do not spend money on this company!!! Absolute trash!!!! I loved the site in the beginning but soon the site would automatically lock me out and tell me to either wait and try again (I've done hours, days and weeks of trying to log in again ) or call customer service in which today I did... they told me to wait on the phone on hold for 10 mins.. 20 mins later I get a automated person telling me that they are closed for the holiday... it's a normal day! No holiday!!! They said they will get back within 48 hours. I also have emailed them twice within 3 months of this problem with no response. I have contacts, amongst other important information that I trusted they would keep and that I would be able to accesses at any time, but cant get in to pull out of their good for nothing site. Also slightly upset they shutdown the Android app. Why??? This company is trash and I have no problem with slashing their name.

Yelp
I recently ordered gifts off of a registry through Zola. It came quickly, however one of the shipping boxes had been badly damaged in transit, despite the fragile sticker marked on the box. The item box was badly damaged and not exactly what I wanted to give as a gift. Zola had a new one shipped out promptly which was packaged perfectl! Great customer service!

Rumina X.

Yelp
Superb customer service. I recently received an invite, responded and purchased my gift for a bridal shower through ZOLA. All this took less than 5 minutes. I love how you can pick the date you want the bride to receive the email and gift on a date of your choice. PLUS, they price match. I found the same item at a lower price and sent that info to Zola. In less then a half hour, I received the price difference refunded to me.

Sylvia J.

Yelp
I was ordering a gift and the computer gliched just as the payment was going through. I was worried if I opened a new screen I'd pay rwice. So I called the help line and spoke to Xy. They checked and gave me an answer and confirmed the purchase in less than 5 minutes! Love that service!

Lorie D.

Yelp
I dealt with Flora. Her customer service was outstanding. I received an item broken and she helped me through the return/RE shipment process. There were a few issues but she continued to coach me through it all. She answered every email and was very courteous, professional and understanding. I give Flora 5+ stars and would recommend Zola because of her. I hope this reaches the management and they realize what an outstanding employee she is.

Yelp
Everything was handled efficiently and kindly which is exceptional in this not-so-kind world. Thank you so much for making this a happy. Vi Scanlon

Yelp
I used the registry to pick and pay for a gift. I had a problem trying to finalize the purchase. I called the Zen desk and spoke to Jenny who figured out what the problem was once I gave her the error code. She instructed me what to do and as I did it, while she was on the line with me, and completed the transaction.

Yelp
This site advertised free returns, GOOD LUCK!!! The order number isn't really your order number If you go to the site requesting a returns they say your order can't be found Okay try to give customer service a call. I called 4 times and the recording said, they are not taking calls at this time and to use their email to request a return label. I did this 7 days ago and I am still waiting. Next plan , called for 5th time and got through after 29 minutes and 10 seconds Was told my order number was not order number, but the representative finally found it and again I requested a free return label. I was told it would take a day or up to 3 Days. Day 7, no label . I will be stopping payment on my American express and than I will see if I get a label. My sister had the same problem with fake order number. She is not as persistent as I. My gift will be donated to charity. The wedding was canceled

I am beyond disappointed. The first problem was our thank you cards came back in terrible quality. We asked for a reprint and were willing to send the ones we had back, all they did was give us a 50% refund so we can buy another set on their site. This is after going back and fourth in multiple emails. Why would I want to spend extra money for them sending me a low quality product? I have attached the photo we chose and how it was printed. So be warned that they don't stand behind their quality. The second problem was we ordered some hand towels, the listing specifically stated it's a set of two in the title. They only sent us half of them and I have been waiting for them to send the rest and after asking again, they only now said they don't come in sets of two. Just a a single towel. Even though the listing said it's a set of two. I'm so frustrated I feel like I'm being scammed. They got all their money from my guests and now they don't care anymore. While the card part is frustrating, I don't know how it's legal for them to not give me what I bought, when it's stated in the title that it comes in a set. Edited to add, for some reason not all the photos are posting.

Yelp
We used Zola because we loved their large selection of website designs, it was easy to use and upgrade if you wanted to, and easily update as our big day got closer. Our favorite part was how easy it made the RSVP tracking not only for our guests but for us! We were able to add guests or send them a link that took less than a minute to fill out. We loved how easy it made getting a headcount or reminding guests to RSVP. I wish they still did the app because it made it even easier to do if you were away from your computer. Otherwise, we recommend using Zola and their extremely knowledgeable staff!

Yelp
I ordered something from Zola. Now, typically businesses will run your card to make sure you're good for the payment, but they won't actually CHARGE the card until an item ships (credit card companies don't allow it). I've seen a lot of Amazon marketplace sellers who run the scam of "shipping" an item by generating a shipping label, charging you for it, and then not shipping your item for weeks, if ever. Well, that's what Zola did. They generating a shipping label and charged my card within 24 hours of the order. Now, three weeks later, that shipping label is not worth the paper they very likely did NOT print it on, because they never gave the package to UPS. They have my money, and they not shipped a thing. I have never seen a reputable business do that before. Either this is a first, or Zola is not one.

Yelp
I ordered the pictured item as a Christmas gift. They took the liberty of substituting some other tray made of same material but not what I would have ordered. Their site says nothing about substitutions. Then they promised a return shipping label and replacement. Neither if which were sent. Then they said they would refund me $11 for this $50 item. Never again. I will block their site. Be forewarned.

Yelp
every gift that I try to order on Zola takes a huge amount of time. For example, I buy a "suitcase" from "ABC" brand on zola. 1 week passed, no shipping information received. I call their support number. They say they need another few days to find out "why it's not shipped." When I can see on "ABC" brand's website, they are providing 2 day free shipping. LOL so I'm assuming Zola just keeps holding the money and not placed the order. Due to the pandemic and etc, there are literally gifts "money" sitting with Zola since 2019. low and behold, they are still dragging their feet when I try to spend like 5% of it.

Yelp
I have been furious with my Zola experience. What makes me most mad is that I chose Zola over The Knot and other similar websites, and by doing this I am the one who created more stress for myself. For starters, it is not user friendly at all. Secondly, the app is not available on Android phones. Thirdly, I was disappointed with my save the dates and invites. They all felt cheap and the ink was light blue instead of black. Finally, someone gave us a gift card on Zola and apparently you have to activate/redeem it AND THEN WAIT 3-5 BUSINESS TO ACTUALLY USE IT. I had such a bad experience with Zola and I will never use them for anything and I would never recommend to anyone.

Yelp
I was introduced to this website through dear friends who set up their wedding plans, including their registry. Ordering through the site was seamless and very practical! And they even price matched 2 items found on Amazon at lower prices, within minutes of my request made, no hassles! If I get married again I will definitely look to Zola!
