Great location, just a short walk from Berlin Hbf, which makes it perfect for business people nearby who want to bring clients from outside the city and give them a taste of the true beergarden atmosphere. From the terrace, there’s a lovely view of the canal and the Bundeskanzleramt. I haven’t tried the food yet, so can’t comment on that part, but in terms of setting and overall vibe — definitely recommended!

We arrived here for dinner after traveling from Toronto, Canada. The staff were very friendly and accommodated us despite no reservations. The food was very good and there are non alcoholic options of the drinks. I would come again to taste German cuisine.

Here with two of my friends all the way from Indianapolis, Indiana to catch our Colts play here in Berlin Germany…This restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel. And definitely didn’t disappoint! We all three had the Sausage Platter and were truly impressed! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really nice relaxed vibe on Sunday night- great Augustiner beer in draft & the food is delicious. V quick friendly service - made to feel very welcome. Would be lovely in the summer with the beer garden & about 10 minutes walk from the main station

Outstanding pork knuckle in Berlin. The crackling was glassy and perfectly blistered, and the meat underneath stayed juicy and full of flavor. The gravy had real depth and tied everything together. The sauerkraut brought a clean acidity that cut through the richness, and the potato dumplings were light and comforting with a hint of chive.

Honestly, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The pork knuckle didn't have much flavour and the currey wrust was bathed in so much currey powder I couldn't finish it. The warm strudle was served cold and our 'special' Ocktoberfest beers were flat. All in all, quite disappointing.

I was looking for genuine German food around my hotel & was pointed to this place by the tourist office at the main train station. It was right be the River Spree & consist of not just a restaurant but also a large biergarten, I was not expecting much but the din from the place before I reached it told me that I would not be disappointed. It was rather crowded but the friendly staff was able to offered me a seat high table. I ordered a beer, a vegetable soup & the pork knuckle. The beer came quickly, the soup a little while later & not outstanding. The pork knuckle came after quite a while (they already pre-warned me) & it was served with some kind of mashed potato & sauerkraut & they worked wonderfully together. Benjamin, the owner, roamed around entertaining the guest & spoke to me as well telling me that they also have a basement area which they would used as restaurant space in the winter.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The star of the whole experience is the Fraulein at the front desk. See attached photo. Her service is impeccable. The food is equally amazing. The pork knuckle is to die for. The roast pork in beer sauce is equally fantastic. Well worth the two visits we made here
