ZORBA CAFE

I came here for the first time today. I got a chicken platter and added banana peppers, it comes with chicken, rice, salad of choice (I got tabbouleh but there're two other options) and 4 pieces of pita bread. When I got there, I was going to add on baklava but the man helping me offered a new item to try instead that they were thinking about putting on the menu. I think it was something called Bougatsa, a cream filled circular fried pastry. It was so yummy, I had wanted something more sweet like caramel so I didn't think I would like it at first but I actually loved it. It reminded me of funnel cake. As for the food, I enjoyed the texture and flavor of the rice, loved the tabbouleh and how it was chopped, and the pita bread was BEAUTIFUL very soft and warm. My favorite thing about this place is they actually give you two sides of tabbouleh instead of just one. I think the chicken needed more seasoning and flavor but it was really good with the ranch. The texture of the chicken was perfect, tender and melts in your mouth. The platter with the dessert was $20.28 after tax. This place was reallyyy nice, very clean, quiet, and the workers are very polite and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Had a great dinner at Zobra’s Cafe. With plenty of food per dish it was well worth the money. Everything made fresh to order with. Mediterranean gyro style restaurant will not disappoint and they had tasty fries too. Their taziki sauce was excellent. And the two hungry young men that were with me left full and raving about how yummy their meal was. We will be back. Oh, and did I mention that the staff were super friendly and eager to please.

Everything about this place was above an beyond. Employees were helpful in helping find the perfect meal I would enjoy. They serve with pride and love of what they serve. Everything was fresh, hot and served with pride. Restaurant was very clean and well taken care of. Food was very good and big portions offered.

This was my first time eating here. And color me impressed! The atmosphere was clean and opened. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly! And The food…. I have been to Greece and ate Gyros and fries there and it was my first time trying Mediterranean food and it was delicious! But here was just as fabulous! I will most definitely be here again.!!

We got takeout on a rainy night after a long day sightseeing. The people were friendly, the food cooked fresh after we ordered, and everything was delicious. My only tip to customers is when asked if you want dressing, specify if you only want it on your salad. Otherwise, it will be put on your entree too. I would definitely eat here again if in the area. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

We stopped here on the way back to the airport and were very pleasantly surprised! Very clean, very fresh, very tasty and healthy food. Such a nice group of people working there too. They were super kind and friendly and had all met each other at church. Keep doing what you're doing, and thank you for providing such a great experience for us!

You know the food is good when there's a long line! The first thing I noticed about this place upon walking in was how CLEAN it was. I got the gyro platter and most definitely had dinner for later - the portion size was incredible for the price. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just delicious. I've been recommending this place to all of my coworkers and clients.

I was visiting Smyrna and saw this place while driving into town. Bright and clean kitchen and dining area. Staff was professional and friendly. Service was quick. Ordered the chicken kabab plate. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Very tender and juicy. The rice was perfect, as well. Good portion size. It is located in a newer shopping center a few doors down from Publix grocery store. Clean and safe area, convenient and easy to find with plenty of parking.

I was in Smyrna for work several weeks ago and we stopped in Zorba Cafe twice that week! It's a bright, fun environment. The manager was very knowledgeable about how to accommodate my gluten sensitivity! He easily accommodated my questions and already knew what to tell me to get. The chicken salad was excellent! Highly recommended, I would definitely return!

When in the area try this place. The dining room and kitchen are always neat and clean. Currently has a health score of 100, I've not seen less. The staff is friendly, helpful, and have pride in their work. As always the food was great. Made to order and customized as you wish. Generous portions and made fresh with pride and care.

4.5 I was running errands on a Friday in mid-Autumn and found myself in Smyrna. This never happens. It was around lunchtime and rather than drive back to Nashville hungry, I thought I'd look around for something tasty and nearby. As luck would have it, I happened upon Zorba Cafe. It was easy enough to pull in and park so that was a plus. It's off a busy road so, I suppose, those who live nearby would enjoy its easy access. I walked in to a bright and clean dining room and a friendly man behind the counter. These are all pluses. There weren't many people in the dining room at my time of visit and not being recognized is an easy way for me to head on back out of the door. The man greeted me and I asked what should I have as a first-time customer. He replied, 'The Gyro Sandwich.' Done. I ordered that and a side of fries. I rethought eating out and asked for it to go. I started to make myself at home when I discovered that making my sandwich was an interactive experience, not a passive one. After shaving off a LOT of meat, I was asked how I wanted my gyro filled (onions, tomato, herbs, and tzatziki). Sandwich made, I waited a small amount of time for hot, freshly-made and season steak fries. Yes, please. I received my HEAVY to-go box, thanked the man (owner) and stepped out into the sun. I sped down I-24 W and made my way back home in record time. The aroma from the box compelled me. I opened it to find a still hot HUGE sandwich with an extremely generous amount of freshly-shaven meat, pillowy pita and all the ingredients I'd chosen. The fries hadn't gotten soggy (fresh makes all the difference) and seasoned potatoes will always be the way to go over bland starch. I got to the business of eating and was thoroughly pleased. The five-star reviews don't lie. Zorba Cafe is the truth.

My husband and I stopped in by chance on our way in from Virginia and we sure are glad that we did. Not only the food was delicious but the service was absolutely amazing - Thank you !!

I finally stopped by to order lunch today and was thrilled with menu, cleanliness and friendly service. I feel that the prices are high but my mixed grill salad was very fresh and tasty. There was plenty of meat and I chose grilled onion, mushrooms and peppers as well. I like that I could tell the server exactly what type of lettuce and vegetables I wanted. Business was very good; some dine-in and lots of to go orders. I will return!

So we came here for the first time since moving to Smyrna and someone heard us mention that. We then got multiple people telling us what their favorite menu item was. If people politely tell you their favorite item that's a good sign. Then the employees were all very kind and personable. I will say, the way they do things is a little different. You order your food, then they will call out your order and you will go up to the counter and tell them what you want on your food. I got the gyro combo and my husband got the mix grill combo. Both were so flavorful, hot, and fresh! Very happy with our visit and will certainly be back. Our 11 month old was also able to easily eat the gyro meet and definitely liked it.

Travelled to Nashville on business trip and found this gem for dinner. The falafel pita sandwich was very good. The service was kj d and quick. I am a vegetarian and struggle at times to find a good meal and I recommend Zorba Cafe.

Service was fantastic. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The food is very fresh and prepared to order. I would make this a regular stop. Also found their menu quite affordable!!

They don't have almost 5 stars for no reason. When I worked close to them I used to go for lunch 100 days out of the year, and not once was this place not clean. Not once was the food not good. Not once was the service subpar. I went today after months. They remembered me. Also, the best Gyro spot in the area sincerely.

Am I supposed to eat ALL of this by myself!? Moved away from Smyrna a little over four years ago. This was Fat Mo's if that tells you anything. I needed to stop by Publix and saw this when I rounded the corner. They advertised a $9.99 gyro lunch on a chalkboard on the sidewalk - sounds good! Very clean place! Ordered at the counter and was given a number to wait my turn - guess they didn't recognize me so they didn't know how valuable my time is! Otherwise they would have moved me to the head of the queue. I'm kidding! The only time I'm recognized is when my wife says "Good morning" Even then she looks a little hesitant. It's good that they don't allow a line to back up into the dining area, what with all the infectious disease issues these days. VERY friendly staff. Food was delicious and when he started dishing the rice he put about two more scoops than I was expecting and it was cooked perfectly. Of course they put all the ingredients you ask for on your gyro - he also asked what if anything I wanted on the rice. He had to request help to hold mine so he could add all that I wanted - think I broke the previous recorded set back in 1968 for the most ingredients on a gyro. You see, I'm the reason a lot of the area buffets went out of business... All kidding aside the food was excellent, rice cooked perfectly and staff top notch. Their health score is 100 to top it off. One of the staff - might be the owner - made the rounds in the dining area asking everyone if they needed anything and how the food was. So go - NOW - or better yet, when they are open..

This is one of the best mediterranean spots in Middle Tennessee! The workers are always super nice and attentive. The place is also very clean. I recommend the chicken plate with the tabbouleh.

This place you want to eat at. The location, the inside are spacious and clean. The people's here are nice. The foodie here is delicious. Mix plates loaded and fresh.

Wow, Zorba Café was amazing! We had a large group bombard the café all at once, and the staff welcomed us with smiles, courteous service, and an overall amazing experience. Ordering is pretty straightforward, you stand in line, order what you want, and wait for them to call you so they can add your toppings. The cashier was warm and welcoming, as were the cooks. The food was served relatively quickly. We got the mix grill platter which came with rice, flatbread, a mix of chicken, lamb, grilled onions, peppers, and choice of fixings from the fresh salad bar. The food was light and delicious. Meats are cooked to order. The price was right. Everyone in the group seemed extremely happy. We hope to have the opportunity to be back in the near future.

The Gyro plate and service was excellent, not much more to say! My companion enjoyed his equally.

Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is fantastic! We come here from Texas to visit family and they always remember us. I had gyro lunch with salad, hubby had gyro lunch with fries. Delightful setting, very clean. Highly recommend!!

Not far from where I live this has become my go to for Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. By far this is the best Greek cuisine I've had anywhere in Middle Tennessee, all made fresh to order just how you want. And the portions are huge! For what you pay you get a lot of food. With a small staff they still manage to crank out orders very efficiently and they are all really nice people. I plan making this a go to takeout option for my wife and me.

Totally stumbled upon this place while looking for a chain store for quick lunch. I'm glad I decided to give it a try. I love gyros but found it hard to find a good one. Zorba nails it to the moon and back. Had the lunch special which included rice and drink. Good value. Asked him for "traditional" style and am won over. I'll be back.

I had an amazing experience here. They were very knowledgeable on what was gluten free (the tabouli is not - side note). I got a gyro salad and a side of fries (which are gluten free). Will definitely be back!!

Zorba Cafe has delicious food. We tried the hummus, falafel platter, gyro, tabbouleh, and baklava. All were delicious except the hummus.....Im not sure if it's the texture or taste but I wasn't fan. Falafel platter as you can see in the picture it's a pretty large amount enough for two, it was absolutely delicious. Gyro is pretty good especially with a side of tabbouleh. With falafel and gyro, you have to finish your meal off with the baklava. It is SO yummy!

I go to this restaurant ALL the time. The staff are so friendly and remember their customers! The food is amazing and reasonably priced. They have really good lunch specials! It's great for take out or just eating in the restaurant. I take all of my friends here when they come to Smyrna!

Tried this place for the 1st time tonight! We love a good gyro place & this place certainly didn't disappoint!! Their was 4 of us that ordered & all ordered different things on the menu & it was a very delicious!!! The place was super clean, & they were very helpful with ordering! Sorry we forgot to take pics of the food! We were super hungry & dove in! We will def be frequenting this place!

Very good food, friendly staff, lots of natural light in the dining area. They allow/ask that you decide how your sandwiches and salads are dressed which caught me off guard a bit. Only complaint is the portion sizes, I felt like I could easily have eaten twice what they served. Delicious!

I was excited to come try this new place near my place . My experience was awesome the owner and staff was very friendly and helpful. The portion of the food was more then enough. The food was fresh . Love the hot fries ! A place to go if you love Greek food especially their lamb meat ! Clean environment!

My husband recently had surgery on his arm, and some friends ordered us a surprise meal from Zorba's - - oh my gosh it was absolutely incredibly delicious! I'm going to be making several more trips to Zorba's now that I know about it...

Y'all.....they have done a great job updating this place. The decor is fun and kitchen is clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating of preferences. You get ALOT of food for little money. And it's all fresh. Your face with eat all the tzatziki. It's amazing!

This is some of the best Greek food around. It is always fresh and made to order. The fries with a bit of seasoning are delicious. All the items on the menu are very good.

This restaurant was a great find, we happened to find them via google and their reviews were solid. The food they serve is top and whenever I'm in town I make my way here. Plus the 2 employees inside are always nice, smile all the time and just make the atmosphere so great.

Two separate experiences. We had a take out order that I picked up by myself. The manager offered to help take the food to my car with me, as I had a few drinks and a few mags, but only two hands. So kind, so we came back for an in-person dining experience and got the same attention to detail and kind service as the take-out experience. All the employees are kind, helpful with menus suggestions. They walked our order to our table instead of calling out my name for a pick up, like most small fast serve restaurants of the size would.

The place is nice and clean. The staff ir very friendly and the food is good. The have too many options to fill your gyro and they served their fries with a seasoning that you're gonna love.

I've been to Zorba about 10 times. The food is always great, portions are large, the price is great and the owner is always welcoming. I've had just about everything on the menu and it's all good.
