The Taro milk tea is outstanding!!!! My hubby got the Blue Hawaiian lemonade and we also tried the buffalo cauliflower 🔥 we will be back here!!! Service was great!

I love this place. Today I got a iced vanilla matcha latte with almond milk and it was amaaaazingly good. It’s always extremely clean. Reasonably priced, professional staff, and consistent. Highly recommend for a quick tea/boba or a quick lil meal/snack!

Ordered a cake pop, boba milk tea, and an Oreo shake with boba. Literally everything was messed up and I was so sad:( the cake pop was a literal safety hazard. It was RAW dough. The grossest thing I’ve ever tasted in my life- soft, raw, chewy dough. Idk what happened there but that was so disappointing. I paid for extra boba on each drink- and I definitely didn’t receive extra boba (idk why they put that option because they don’t ever actually do the extra boba). I specifically put “no ice” and my milk tea came with ice:( I don’t like it because it waters it down so much. By the time it was delivered with DoorDash the ice was halfway melted and the drink was less potent:( and the Oreo shake I ordered with whip cream came (no extra boba, of course) came very melted . Bad experience overall lol

I went during mid-afternoon and there wasn't a wait at all. Jackpot. I got the original milk tea with tapioca bubbles and a serving of curly fries, and both were awesome. The tea was fresh, as were the bubbles, and I loved how they could customize the amount of sugar in my drink. The fries were also super fresh and so, so good. Super crisp and warm. They weren't at all greasy. The guy at the register was also really great. He was nice and answered my questions about the menu. You can tell the staff had energy and liked being there. All in all, I would definitely go back again and try more of their menu, both on the bubble tea side and the sandwich side. There was a crispy chicken sandwich on grilled rye that caught my eye, so I'll update this review once I go back. In the meantime, I definitely recommend checking the place out.

Finally got to try bubble tea for the first time and fell in love with it. It is located in a busy restaurant and service was great. I got the mango juice with mango stars. Also tried the mango mochi ice cream which were also real good.

The brown sugar boba w/oat milk is the best I’ve had in a while. The donut and boba store is a great idea. Good combo

We tried the Original Mango Mix which is mango nectar purée blended with some ice. I think a canned mango pulp may be used so that gives a more accurate and potent mango flavor than any syrup would. This drink delivered what was expected from it, but it did lack a little complexity as there isn’t a change in flavor or texture throughout. Next time, we’ll be sure to try some of the more traditional bubble tea flavors as well as the bingsu.

Owners take their own time to seat you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Not a big fan on bubble tea but decided to try the Oreo slush and it was excellent. They even asked to take a picture of us to upload it online. 10/10 will come back here and try their joint sandwich place The Terry Melt.

I love this place. Everything about it. It's a great place to go on a nice warm or Hot day. Or just any day period. Service was great and so was the drinks

This is the original Z's location, shared with The Terry Melt. I used to visit decently often since it was the only boba shop within probably 10 or 15 miles. I always found it to be pretty average boba and on my most recent visit, my impression hasn't changed very much. Milk Tea, Original, Black, Lite Sweet, Lite Ice, Large w/ Boba ($6.00) - The drink tastes strange. There's almost a bit of almond essence flavor mixed in with some fruity undertones on top of the dairy creaminess. There's barely any tea flavor or astringency. It feels like this drink is made from powder and maybe they accidentally use the same scoop in multiple containers, which means the drinks get a little contaminated with off flavors. Not a great drink overall. The boba, on the other hand, is actually not bad at all - in fact, I feel like they've improved through the years. The boba used to be exceptionally hard with no chew, but it's now just a bit on the firm side for my tastes with a decent chew. They are soaked in a sugary syrup that helps balance the boba against the sweet drink. (3/5) They charge a 3% service charge even if you order in store rather than online. There still aren't a ton of boba shops around Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, so Z's certainly isn't a bad visit if you're in the area.

10/10 drink with the pomegranate bubbles was amazing. Drink was served cold, no ice was in cup with is awesome you get a lot more juice for the price.

I needed some bubble tea- I was getting hot and stressed from holiday madness and wanted a break from EVERYTHING! The grey outside, the dry heat indoors, the heavy Christmas flavors... cue Z's Bubble Tea located inside Caravan. It is colorful, bright, and cartoonish inside, inspired by comic book art! I was greeted super quickly at the counter. I went for a lychee fruit base (needed a break from dairy) combined with iced green tea. Light ice, light sweetener (I love that you can specify the ice and sweetener levels, especially with bubble tea! Personally, for the price of these things I want plenty of room for tea and bubbles!) I opted for lychee bubbles and something new in my repertoire: aloe vera jellies! They made me feel healthy ;) I've been seriously scoping out the juice, tea, bubble tea, and smoothie scene around Dearborn and have yet to see this boba option. The cup was cute and the drink was made both accurately and speedily. If you want a quick dopamine hit that transports you somewhere tropical, get a tea-based, non-dairy bubble tea, and for like... $7, watch your problems take a chill pill. Lychee feels particular fun and exotic, plus aloe? My dry skin says thank you. I'll be back!

SO good! All restaurants should honestly double as bubble tea shops. Somehow Z's Bubble Tea pairs perfectly with the delicious sandwich melts you get from the same kitchen - The Terry Melt! As a bubble tea afficionado, I am particularly down with Z's because they also carry less traditional, but solid bubble tea alternatives like cereal milk bubble tea and Red Bull bubble tea. Don't knock them til you try them because both options are so good. Plus you don't get to see lychee jellies and mango stars everywhere, and I appreciate that Z's has all these more "fruity" options for those who might not be in the mood of the milkier, tea-ier drinks. It reminds me of Bubble Island in Ann Arbor if that gives anyone a frame of reference. It's a bit Americanized, but still very solid quality, so it's great!Appreciate that there's something for everything here and it's alllll delish!

Fast service! Amazing boba! Super friendly service! Located inside of terry melt. We ordered three boba drinks mango moxtail, strawberry and brown sugar boba. Spent about 23 dollars. In my view totally worth it. Nice and clean place, plenty of parking available.

This place is like a two parter, there's the Terry Melt and Z's bubble tea. You have to cash out with two different transactions if you want both. I did get both because obviously I needed to try both! The bubble tea was bomb! I had the passion fruit black tea with mango stars and normal sugar. I didn't know how to feel about this place, but to my surprise it was so good! The sugar level was perfect and the mango stars were so yummy. My only knock on this place is how expensive it is. I do think it's a little pricy, it was almost $5 for my small drink, but I do think it's worth it. Very good!

Very yummy bubble tea! You can customize your order to just what you like. It shares a spot with the terry melt which also looked delish. Will be back

I was able to check this off my list last weekend. I ordered the taro and coconut milk tea blend. The honeydew is my usual go to but I ventured out today. The young lady behind the counter suggested it and says people sometimes blend flavors. The flavor was good but not as good as my usual. Also, I would have preferred it being colder. It was heading towards the warm side.

My son and I just love z's bubble tea. We always go to the location inside the Terry melt in Dearborn heights. The staff is always so friendly and their boba teas are amazing. I love that they have the brown sugar bubble tea again it's one of my favorites! There is seating inside and outside. We love the patio are to sit and enjoy some boba. We will definitely go back for more bubble tea. If you are a boba lover check out z's!!!

Masks required, staff also wearing masks during COVID-19 times. Staff was friendly, patient while we decided what bubble tea to get. Clean and nicely decorated. Green tea, pineapple infused, with mango jellies , no sugar is what I had (I think? I'm new to this) it was refreshing. Strawberry with mango stars was good as well. Nice to see sugar free options, you also have a lot of bubble tea options for flavors. Salads looked good but I didn't try one today. I'll have to grab one next time!

Ordered online for pick-up and it was super easy. Drinks were ready within the quoted time and they even called me to let me know when my drinks were done. I had the Pineapple Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly and I thought it was really good. I'll need to come back for the bingsu!

Solid 4. First visit was a 5. Second visit the next day was a 3. We went the first time and we were blown away! First off, you have to find the place. It's in The Terry Melt. Don't pass it up! It's easy to do. Oh, during the pandemic it's order online. Easy enough. I'd probably order online all the time. It's easy to do. I had a blended taro and coconut with boba. Divine. If only all of my bubble tea drinks would equal up to this delicious concoction. It was heavenly. My wife had a peach tea with sour apple jellies. She was thrilled. We were so happy! The next day we wanted more. I got the Tiger Milk and she got the mango tea with green apple jellies. Not so good. My Tiger Milk was like straight-up milk with minimal boba. Sad. My wife's was not flavorful at all and the jelly was kind of melty. Honestly, we should have said something then but we drove off before we knew it. I would 100% go back and try again. That first trip was probably in my top 3 bubble tea experiences ever. Got to strive to get there again.

I love me some bubble tea. Having visited this establishment in the midst of a casual global pandemic, there's obviously some wiggle room either way. I'm leaning towards 3.75 stars, but, Yelp is restricting that way. So I can round to 4. Ordered the classic milk bubble tea. It was fine. It just seemed like something was missing. How do you say je ne sais quois in Taiwanese? There are plenty of other flavors to try, so I'll have to return again and try more. I'm sure I'll update then. As for the circumstance surrounding COVID-19? My order was ready before the website said it would be. They brought my bubble tea out to me. The employees were wearing masks. It felt responsible and legit, so for customer service, get that fourth star.

Accidentally vegan! If the person working the counter was correct, anyway. They use powders, no milk is actually present. Service was quick, tea was tasty. Hidden inside Terry's Melts. Decent parking in the plaza.

Probably the only good milk tea around honestly besides some places in Windsor. 4 stars because I wish they would have different milk options for those who are lactose/ allergic . Otherwise, the Honeydew milk tea is my favorite, I like to get it with less sugar since it is already sweet.

Super easy online ordering, and they kept my drink cold in the fridge until I got there. High quality ingredients make for a tasty bubble tea experience. I'll definitely be back for more of this spicy mango goodness!

Been here multiple times to try multiple drinks and none were really good most just tasted of milk sometimes sweet sometimes not I tried to taste all the tea flavors and there really wasn't any flavor. The macaroons were tasty though.

I wanted to give a full 5 star rating for this. I contemplated between a 3 and 4. Not because of the product but because of the wait time. The blended Thai milk tea was delicious. It's great to have a boba tea spot so close to home. My drink was very flavorful and just what I'd expect of a Thai tea. The drinks I'd completely recommend and would visit again. The only problem was the wait. I placed my order for 12:15 earlier in the afternoon for pickup. The drinks weren't ready until about 12:55. Again I'd order again but not during Ramadan . Considering that I put my order in so early, 40 minutes is way too long to wait.

This place was a pleasant surprise! I got the Thai Iced Tea and I had high expectations since I love Thai tea so much and this place didn't disappoint! I got a large and added sugar and got black tea! It definitely had the sweetness level that I like.The color was also perfect so it was a good sign. The only thing is that I would ask for extra ice and stir it really well before you put your straw in. I could taste the powder/gritty sugar a little and it was not cold. So stir and extra ice and you should be okay! This place isn't exactly cheap but you're paying for a boba place being in a Dearborn area so I'll forgive it lol. My drink was a little over $6. I would come back and get this again!

I don't know what the hype is about. I had this at a graduation party disgusting I had their original boba and chocolate gave me a headache. I wanted to try it before the graduation party but I said it'll wait I'm glad I did because it gave me a headache and tasted horrible. Avoid at all costs go to bambú it's better

A bit over-hyped as their bubble tea, the past 3 times I've been, has tasted less milky, and a bit more watered down (although I ask for light ice). When the initially opened, I'm not sure if it was the hype, or me lacking experience with bubble tea at the time, but I believe they tasted better back then. Bubble tea will always be a bit pricey so take your money to the tea EXPERTS like Ding Tea in Plymouth or any Kung Fu Tea instead.

My favorite spot to get a frozen taro milk tea. They also offer heated igloos outside for outdoor seating.

Dearborn Heights really needed something different to add and Z's Bubble Tea did it. They have the best bubble teas and the best service. The workers are super friendly and the best part is, they're in a restaurant that serves delicious food as well..2 in 1..so innovative and simply delicious. The bubble teas they offer are so refreshing, and so exciting to drink especially if you include the boba in yours which I highly recommend. Can't wait to visit again and again and again

Won't ever come here again. Everything was really expensive. I guess that's to cover the owner's overhead cuz he had 6 girls working behind the counter but only a couple customers.

i love getting the caramel frappe with tapioca and the milk tea. the only thing i don't like about this place is their flavoring syrups do not taste flavorful, but rather bland. the drinks taste like a whole bunch of sugar and not a lot of the flavoring syrups that they are made with.

I LOVE this place ! I'm from NYC and coming to Michigan it's super hard to find GOOD boba , I found this place about two months ago and I'm here every single day for the mocha boba just waiting on the pumpkin one for fall and it'll be a dream

Went to Z's for the first time today and oh my gosh!!! The owners are SO NICE and KIND. I left there feeling happy and not just because I'm obsessed with bubble tea. I will be back, for sure. The bubble tea was so delicious and made so well, so many options, too. Was a super clean atmosphere, too. Will be back for the food, too. I love seeing happy small business owners. I was so impressed!! Had to leave a great review.

I loved the experience! Bubble tea was yummy and I ordered a quesadilla. It was huge full of veggies and chicken.if you have kids it's a great choice. There was a party on the patio when I was there and all the kids were having a blast with the boba tea

I was stand there 5 mins before I was acknowledged and all the girl went out side to take 2 drinks to some boys they were flirting with, I waited 20 mins for 2 mango green teas very disappointed probably will never return

I'm going to start off saying I'm not a bubble tea connoisseur. I've only ever had it twice prior to trying this place and both times I didn't feel that it made an impression. Z's bubble tea however was the turning point for me. I got the coconut milk black tea(sugar free) with strawberry jellies and it was perfection. I see myself craving this again and again. Although the tea was sugar free, you still get sweetness from the jellies and coconut milk and it was enough for me. I placed an order online and it was ready as promised. A must try!

One of the only places in the area that has bubble tea, and I was impressed! I originally got a mango slushie drink with boba at the suggestion of the girl working and wasn't the biggest fan of it, but they quickly made me another drink at no charge. I just went with a classic taro milk tea and it was quite good! I wish they had more flavor options as most bubble tea places have a pretty extensive selection, so hopefully they can expand it with more. I left happy with my drink and will definitely be back for more.

10/10 would recommend to any boba tea lovers! It's aesthetically pleasing and it's super refreshing :) the customer service was great, I forgot to say that I wanted strawberry boba in my tea and they had no problem adding it in after I payed for it. I asked for a recommendation and the lady in the black hijab, didn't catch her name but she said I should get the Honeydew milk tea and it was really good! They have two sizes, I got the 24 ounce cup which is a large, prices were great! I think it was around 5 dollars.

I'm from out of town but have heard plenty of things about Z's Bubble Tea when I got to Michigan. I had to give it a try since i enjoy bubble tea. The owner Fadi, was very nice, helpful, respectful & welcoming when we were ordering. The drinks came out in no time and they tasted fantastic. I would strongly recommend this place, thanks again Fadi for the great bubble tea!

I have tried several different items on the menu here and overall I'm not disappointed! I have yet to try something here that I don't like. The bubble tea selection is prime! Definitely a lot to choose from so you never get bored. I am a personal fan of the grilled/hot sandwiches but that's my personal preference. They are a little slow during lunch hour because they're pretty busy but that's what you get when you are a popular lunch venue!

Best bubble tea in Michigan! The mango stars with coconut tea is amazing! The Taro with Tapioca is a must try!!

Not only were my drinks delicious, they were made promptly. I placed my order online and scheduled to have them done at certain time and they were. Love the online ordering system, made it easy to reorder my drinks that we enjoyed last time.

Really amazing boba and even better service. I got the brown sugar boba and it was to die for. Staff recommended great drinks and made sure we were very satisfied with our order. Will be coming back!

I'm always driving 30+ min out of my way for bubble tea and I've tried probably 80% of the bubble tea spots around metro Detroit. Gotta say that a lot of hole in the wall bubble tea joints popping up lately haven't seemed to get that "milk tea" flavor and essence down just yet. However, the owners at Z's Bubble Tea are definitely doing their research! Did not disappoint and if you're looking for milk tea around the Dearborn area this would be my top recommendation at the moment! The bubbles could use some extra flavoring but for an original place that just opened up I still give it 5 stars and I can't wait to see how you guys perfect your milk teas even further! The owner was the nicest and most welcoming he could have been and I appreciate that as much as the awesome milk tea. Definitely check this place out and show these people some love for chasing their dream of opening up a business like this! Good luck guys!

Drinks are delicious but employees not following COVID19 mask requirements. Came in on a Thursday around 4pm and the place was very busy. We got 3 different drinks and decided drink it outside. The drinks were delicious and decided to buy some to take home. The second time I order the drinks took too long to prepare and noticed one employee in the back not wearing mask at all and some employees not wearing the mask properly.

It's eh. Bubbleology's wayyy better. First of all, the fruit teas taste like straight syrup. The milk teas are good but I mean I've had better tea than that. The only good thing about this place is they have a variety on their menu but it's still not all that.

This place serves amazing bubble tea, my favorite is the honeydew milk tea it's a must have. The employees always have welcoming smile and can answer any of your questions about bubble tea. I can't wait to go again just to try the other delicious flavors and I can't recommend Z's enough!
