First time trying this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the chicken kabob plate, the chicken was tinder, hummas was my favorite and the salad was really good too ! Will be definitely coming back to try different things on the menu !

Delicious and fresh food along with friendly staff. I ordered the Tiger shrimp special and I can’t say enough yummy things about it!! Super fresh and tasty! Very low key and relaxed place with large outdoor covered dining!

Had the house special today but I normally order here 2 times a week I order the ham and egg and bacon sandwich. Super delicious. Also the lunches here are awesome I have eaten many things from here but I always choose the shrimp basket

I only order take out from this place. The Greek salad is perfect. The sandwiches are tasty. They deliver the food with in a good time frame.

DELICIOUS!!! I had Z's special and absolutely loved it. The sauce on the shrimp, chicken and fish were delectable as well. Husband's dish was yummy too.

This is pure deliciousness! Especially with their specialty sauce. I can't remember the name but it complimented the meal so well! It's slightly spicy and a bit lemony. The hummus was delicious of course I need to remember to buy a larger side of hummus to take home. The salad was ehh. Just basic side salad nothing wrong with it b it just not special enough. It's definitely a must try! They have a lot to offer

If you're in the Los Angeles area near Vernon, CA, I highly recommend checking out Z's Place! This restaurant offers a diverse menu with options ranging from Mexican and Asian cuisine to seafood, chicken, and even Mediterranean dishes. It's a family-owned establishment, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere is evident from the moment you step inside. Their service is quick and the owner had so many regulars coming in to eat. Personally, I love their trio plate, which features shrimp, chicken, and salmon. The sauce and condiment bar complement the meal perfectly, making for a delicious dining experience. Solid offerings for the area. Ordered the chicken tostada salad which was fairly standard though a large portion. Team here recognizes regulars and is really friendly to all. Need to come back to try the other offerings; the kabob plate looked really good!

My coworkers always pick up food from Z's and I finally decided to give it a try. I had the spicy chicken kebab plate, which comes with chicken, basmati rice, grilled onion and roasted tomato, salad, hummus and pita. Everything was absolutely outstanding and the portions are generous. Justin, the owner, provides excellent customer service and he knows the names of all of his regulars. Z's is a representation of how all restaurants should be -- high quality food, expansive menu with offerings for all and top notch service. I will definitely be coming back often. Highly recommend!!

I tried this spot at a recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint! The menu is massive ranging from a variety of Mediterranean genre items to some Mexican items, even burgers, they have it all! I got the Greek salad + I added chicken. The salad was $19 and change, which kind of shocked me at first, but when I saw the portion it all made sense. It was massive, could've easily fed 2 people. The salad came with a bed of lettuce, diced peppers, Kalamata olives and feta cheese. They didn't skimp on portions of anything. I'm unsure if adding chicken changed anything but it also came with a decent sized size of hummus + pita and a drink! I had 1/2 the salad for lunch and saved the other 1/2 for dinner! Everything was flavorful and service was awesome. I will definitely return. Thanks for the great experience!

Greek salad was alright. The driver was a nice guy. They delivered on time. I have never eaten there so I don't know how the atmosphere is.

This place is definitely worth the money and worth the hype. I will come back here if I ever come back in town.

food is good here. good quality and not so expensive! i usually get the asian chicken salad,,, a little outdated that they call it the oriental chicken salad. i waited in line, ordered the food at 12:15 and didn't get the salad until 12:40. kinda crazy to wait 30 minutes for food. will probably not come here as often due to that

I passed by Z's Place many times and never tried it out. When I arrived to place a Togo order, the employees were constantly sanitizing the restaurant and they were definitely following covid protocols. Customer service was great and everyone was very friendly. I was feeling Mediterranean and seafood so I decided to order the Chicken Kabob, Beef Kabob, and the Tiger Shrimp Delight. I have to say -- the food was beyond my expectations. The rice was not dry, the meat was tender, juicy, and crisp on the outside. The pita bread was grilled perfectly and the hummus went well with it. The salad was also refreshing and it was just perfect with the meal. I really enjoyed the Tiger Shrimp Delight with lemon and tortilla that came with the meal. The shrimp was grilled very well and the rice tasted very unique. This meal would pair great with beer. The food here at Z's is very good quality. I really look forward to trying other stuff on the menu next time.

Food is good , but they cannot handle when it is busy. If you're here on a lunch break, good luck getting out of there in time. Service is not great. I waited 37 minutes for my food while I saw others come and go. Last time I'll be here.

Been here a couple times now. Cant go wrong with the Zs trio. Salmon , shrimp and chicken... oooo so good. Get a side of the garlic butter sauce for the salmon. Justin is super friendly! Thanks for always taking care of us.

Z's place is really good, I tried this place for the first time and the food was delicious! We got the chicken and beef kabob and shrimp plate and all 3 plates were so good. Great quality food that is really fresh and full of flavor. Its hard to find restaurants, these days, that doesn't compromise the quality and freshness of their food and Im so happy I found this place. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

L O V E Z's Place! My company is in Vernon and we've catered with Z's place on multiple occasions. Their food is amazing, but let's talk about service! It's so hard to find a place to cater from that offers great food AND great service. Every time I cater with Z's, their team helps me by making suggestions, confirming times, and following up. Whenever I cater with other companies, I get worried about their food and whether they got my order right or not. Z's makes me feel so comfortable by making sure I have all the info I need, and by delivering perfect service every time. They confirm the big details like the time of delivery, down to the small details like the number of plates and forks we need. They really make you feel like a priority even though they've got so many other orders to fulfill! For their food, we all love their spicy chicken kabobs and beef fajitas! They are so fresh and flavorful, and they go perfectly with the rice, hummus, and salad that come with our meal. Our employees love everything about Z's! We will continue catering with them for years to come :)

Delightful local spot. Plenty of parking. Seemed like everyone in there was close personal friends with the staff. Always a good sign. A huge menu, has everything you need. I love these kind of fast food/diner places with breakfast, fried food, Mexican, seafood etc. I got the white fish burrito and my coworker got the chicken kabob plate. My burrito was $9.99 and came with onion rings and a drink. The burrito was huge, well constructed (mine always fall apart), and the onion rings were a bountiful portion. My coworker enjoyed his chicken kabob plate as well - the bright red color on the chicken showed me that they know how to marinate and prepare meat. Just an overall wonderful experience with kind, friend people and delicious, well-portioned food. A must stop if you're in the area.

Great place for lunch. Price is good and portion is big... A lot of variety. Mexican, Mediterranean, Seafood (Catfish, Shrimp, Maui Maui, Tilapia, Salmon), Sandwiches, Hamburger. substitute french fries to salad is free or other way around. Steam rice could be replace to red rice.. Most of the time, I order for pickup. Owners & employees already know me by my name. That's make me feel like they care for their customer. Everyone is really friendly and owner is cool. Few of my favorite dishes is "Z" Wild Chicken combo - Marinade chicken (orange color) over with rice, steam veggie and grill jalapeno. I have to call in early to make sure they have it.. Is limited chicken per day. Also, come with drink Grill Chicken Sandwich combo - Nothing special but is thick slice of chicken w/ tomato, mayonnaise and lettuce with baguette bread. Is also come with french fries and drink. Santa Fe Shrimp combo - Big Shrimps with garlic sauce over rice, chip, salad and drink Santa Fe Catish Fillet - same as above except is "Catfish" . This entree take a little longer than other fish entree. Since, catfish need to be well done

Honestly, thee best place. Their customer service is great. Justin has been very attentive to my orders. The food quality is amazing. I've been happy with everything I've tried, Philly cheesesteak, sandwiches, beef bowl, and the salads, that dressing though! *chefs kisses*. I will always be coming back here.

This place is delicious. Portions are large and the flavor is amazing. Shout out to management for being very accommodating and the friendliest staff you will ever encounter. I cannot recommend enough! This is a culinary masterpiece.

I have been coming to Z's place since 2007 and the food is always great!! It is very affordable and the outdoor environment is always a good place to have lunch and enjoy some fresh air. Their lemonadee is my favorite I always fill up before I leave because I drive all the way to the san fernando valley. Best place to eat if you are craving something fresh and healthy or just want some confort food they have it ALL!!

One of the best places to eat if you work around the area. I wouldn't say that every dish I've tried was delicious, but most of it was good. I usually get the beef kabob or the chicken breast salad. The beef kabob comes with hummus, a Mediterranean salad, rice and grilled tomato and onion. It is my favorite dish here, and taste so delicious with their sauce. The chicken breast salad is also great for days I want to be healthier. They also open very early which is convenient for me, since I can just call in to place my order and pick it up. Service is very friendly, I would recommend checking this place out!

I was totally confused what to eat for lunch and my coworker mentioned this place. She's never eaten it, so it was a bit risky, but risky is my middle name... J/k. It's no where near my middle name. So I went in and found that they have one of the most crazy diverse menus I've ever seen in my entire life. Things from kebab to fish n chips to teriyaki plates to burritos... I mean it was a bit overwhelming, but I decided to go simple- I got a 'super sub' with coleslaw. I was a bit skeptical cause it's really odd being able to pull off good food with diversity. I have to say that they make a legit sub sandwich. It tasted delicious. The coleslaw was good too! I believe it's a 9" sandwich, which I ate only half, but it was really good. I didn't dissect it to see what was inside, but whatever it was, it was a really good combination. I'll definitely be back to try something different and see if they are successful at making other foods delicious as well! If you work around the area or are in the area, I'd say you should try it out!

This spot is a nice lunch spot, I'm glad my coworkers introduced me here. We ended up eating lunch here since I didn't bring my own lunch for the day. You can see most people who come here are employees who are on their lunch break, often regulars who know the cashier and servers. Came around 1, was able to get a parking spot and we were first in line. Win win! A hoard of people came about 5 minutes after we arrived. Their menu is like whoa!! They have most cuisines that are ideal for lunch. You know, if you're working in Vernon, there is absolutely no good restaurants around. It's pretty sad actually, but it does force me to be healthy and bring my own lunch. Menu consists of burgers, salads, tacos, burritos, sandwiches, breakfast meals... the list goes on! Almost 900 items to choose from. Wow. Decisions, decisions, I ordered the ocean white fish burrito for $6.99. Good deal because the burrito was huge and filling! But not so good because my burrito fell apart :(. Plus it was oozing with juice. Not so ideal for a messy eater like me. I don't know why they took over 10 minutes with my order though. Thumbs down to that. Coworkers ordered pastrami sandwich with fries and onion rings with a salad. Their portions are generous which I like. I want to come back and try their breakfast menu since I never make breakfast!

I work close by and eating healthy is pretty limited in my he neighborhood. I always call my order in but there are times when I will order and eat there. They know me by name and I think that's very thoughtful!! They think of everything when I do place an order! I never have to check my bag and if I let them know of anything I want them to include, they go the extra mile ALWAYS!! Super friendly, super hard working, and super on it all the time! The food is sooooo delicious, I just wished I had a bigger stomach to fit it all in. Thank God for leftovers!!!!!

Menus on the wall are so easy to see. You know what you are ordering. Food has great taste, everything is made to order. I am never disappointed and I order something new each time. The condiments table is great, I absolutely love the pickled carrots!!

I've been going to this restaurant for many years for my lunch. The selection and quality of the food is definitely the best in our area. The workers and owners are very polite and generous with fast service. It's a pleasure having this business in our town

Beware of this place. I don't know where to begin. First off if your starving. You will probably die of hunger because it took them nearly 2 hours to deliver our order and we literally work around the corner. My company and I use to order breakfast from them all the time until it started pissing me off that every time we would pay they when theh delivered they would ask us how much change we wanted back!!! I want all my change idiot and I'll give you the tip I want. Who ask this? Finally after months of not ordering we decided to order lunch from them today. We ordered at 11:00 and it was delivered at 12:30. When the OWNER delivered my food and the total was 27.25 and I gave her 40. she asked me if I wanted my change!!! Who the f**k do they think they are? Yes I want my change!!! Then this is the cherry on top of the story. I had a few ones in my wallet and I was going to give her as a tip (which I shouldn't have even gave her a dollar because of the 1 1/2 wait) when she was giving me my change back she said "oh I already took my tip from the change." Why would you take your tip? How the hell did you know what I was going to give you or if I was? I told her in her face her company is ridiculous and we will never purchase from them again I usually don't write reviews but this is ridiculous service. Oh not to mention our food was disgusting and cold. They don't care that you spend your hard earn money. They are just there to take. Beware of this place.

This is one of my 'go-to' places when I go to work, I They're food is amazingly good! The service is always fast and friendly and then people who deliver are always kind and punctual. My favorite thing to order from here is the Quesadilla with beans inside!

Great find in an obscure part of L.A. Been coming here for years and finally decided to write something. Z's has a wide variety from deli to plated meals. I normally don't like places with such a variety but this place is an exception. Had the tilapia w/Persian rice & salad. Brewed ice tea a plus. The tilapia was fresh, moist and flavorful. The rice is definitely not out if a box. You can't go wrong here. Everything made to order so you have to have a little patience. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. If you can't find it on their large menu then just ask; they'll try to accommodate. The people are friendly & attentive. I'm in love with the Asian owner. She is cute, funny, and compassionate about getting it right. Bon Appetit ! Gene

First time here and I'm happy with this place. Service and staff are good. They have a big menu so I was hard to decide what to eat. I got a salmon fillet plate and it was great. Salmon so juicy and the rice taste so good. Salad looks fresh. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to come back.

Came for quick lunch and they offered great selection of food. (Asian, American, Mexican, Mediterranean, etc) We tried Beef Burrito and Shrimp Plate (drink was included) and both were great.

I cam across Z's today when I was trying to figure out where to eat with my mom and girls . I'm so glad we ended up here. The customer service Was amazing . I believe the owners were the ones helping us today with our order. They were so sweet and great with my girls. The food was delicious and perfect sharing size.They have a huge selection of different types of food. The location is very clean and with plenty of room to sit inside and outside. The price point was very affordable as well. I will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Thank you! Our staff breakfast this morning was a success!! Everyone raved about the breakfast sandwiches. They were delicious! We did not have any food left. The delivery service was stupendous. We received our food about 10 minutes before our set time which allowed us more time to eat. The pancakes were fluffy and had a great taste. We look forward to our next breakfast with Z's!

This is my go to place in the city of vernon. They have a great variety of choices on the menu. Everything that i have tried has been delicious. My favorite is the salmon sandwich, truly delicious!

Today was the first time I ate here. I ordered my husband the MahiMahi w/ fried shrimp & I had the SP92 beef. Both were sooo delicious and customer service was absolutely outstanding! The lady that took my order, I'm guessing she's either the manager or the owner... she was nice & very friendly, she even gave me some cookies :) she probably knew it was my first time here. I would definitely absolutely recommend this place if you're ever in the area!
