"The original location of the Southwestern chain restaurant closed on April 1. Owner Randy Cohen had said it was too expensive to repair the older building. The building is owned by McGuire Morman Lambert Hospitality and real estate investment firm Riverside Resources (where Larry McGuire is a partner) is going to develop the block, as reported by Statesman." - Nadia Chaudhury

Great atmosphere and cocktails. Service was very quick and waiters were super nice. Our meals themselves were a little disappointing. Nothing was bad, but the salmon was too bland for my liking. The guac and chips was more memorable. But would probably return to try other items on the menu.

Dinner here was great as always! Michael, our server, remembered us from the last time we were there. He was excellent as always and gave us amazing drink & meal recommendations! The Ahi Tuna salad was delicious and the raspberry coconut margarita was my favorite alcoholic beverage I've ever had there. Definitely worth it! Very sad to know this location will be closing next year, but just enough time to make it back another time or two. :)

Very welcoming staff, laid back atmosphere, and the food was worth the visit. If you are looking for great flavor with a little kick at the end this is your place to eat. The menu should be updated to what is actually available. The dishes that piqued my curiosity were no longer available. Either way this place is worth a second visit.

Cool little spot for happy hour and dinner. They have parking, but it’s limited, and can be difficult during peak hours. Great spot for happy hour on Tuesdays. Half off margs and tacos a la carte on Tuesdays. They also have other happy hour deals. We sat at the bar where the bartender Scott gave us a couple recommendations after I had asked about the frozen margaritas. I’m not a huge tequila person (yeah yeah, not the best place to be for happy hour), but they can make other drinks without. My friend ordered a frozen house marg and I ordered a frozen house marg with watermelon muddled. We ordered the Z Trio which came with their salsa, queso, and guac. It was fantastic. I really loved the queso! The thin chips also pair well with the trio. Regarding customer service...Scott was helpful, but I’m not sure if it was because he was in a bad mood or if I asked way too many questions that he seemed somewhat annoyed. He rarely checked in on my friend and I, even though we were sitting right in front of him at the bar. It’s astounding how people rave about the customer service here, but I simply did not receive that same experience. The food and drinks were good nonetheless. I would come by again for happy hour out of convenience since it’s close, but wouldn’t go out of my way for this spot.

I loved the place! We were visiting from Houston during COVID and they had good precautions. The food was amazing but what made the visit a lot more enjoyable was BLUE! Yes that is the name of our waitress! She was extremely friendly, helpful and basically everything she recommended I got and I loved it! Even if the food was not that good her attitude would have made it enjoyable. I got the chicken fried chicken and didn’t even finish it because it was too much (good problem). The mashed potato was like heaven in my mouth and veggies were good (not a big veggie fan). The mango margarita was sweet and would definitely get it again when I visit again. Favorite part was the corn bread! Soft and not too sweet, just right. We sat outside and it was perfect for pictures (which Blue offered to take without us even asking ❤️). Extremely recommend this place.

*Green chile pork & tamale eggs Benedict. *Kahaul & Agave French toast. My friends had items above and they really liked it. *Capital beef barbacoa omelet. I had the omelet and it was good. The barbacoa was so tender and not greasy. All the ingredients meshed well together. *Parking: I went to 6th st location on a Sat, 11am. I got lucky and found free parking in front of restaurant. Later than that, expect to drive around for parking, as it's limited.

Stopped in for dinner as this was with walking distance of our Air BnB. Food did not disappoint. Wife's frozen margarita was partially frozen but it was good and so was my mojito. Wife has the pork & chorizo meatloaf and I had the chicken dish off the summer menu. Both were well seasoned with just the right amount of heat to give it a great flavor. We'll definitely go back.

Probably the best Tex-Mex I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious!! The presentation was great, quality of food was suburb and staff was prompt. Chips and salsa is on request, but it’s probably best that way so you don’t get full before the actual meal. If you’re in Austin, check this place out! You won’t be sorry. The mushroom enchiladas are fantastic!
