Google
Fantastic place! Very reasonable prices excellent homemade pasta and pizza. Happy hour is very good. Service was tremendous! Would recommend the pesto chicken pizza, the cavatelli vodka rustica was outstanding! And the chicken Parmesan, the chicken was excellent wished it would have been on some homemade fettuccine instead of plain old spaghetti noodles. Maybe ask for that? Bread with olive oil dip was nice and served with the meal. We will be back! Closed on Mondays. Happy hour every day 4-6pm

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and honestly it was a bit of a letdown. I will say the drinks and the service were great but the food just didnt meet my expectations. The pizza was extremely salty espescially the dough they use. We had the pesto chicken and most of all the toppings were dumped towards the center instead of being evenly distributed and the pesto was packed along the crust. We sat outside which was nice for a summer evening however I like the idea of the street patio better than being crammed up against the side of the building they should just eliminate those tables all together for more space and enjoyment.

Google
We met up with old friends at 4:00 PM sharp—because when someone tells you the happy hour at Zucca is that good, you don’t show up late. The spicy pepperoni pizza (small in size, BIG on flavor) hit the spot, and the appetizer meatballs and calamari were both bursting with flavor. And the lemon drop? Oh yes. Perfectly balanced, tart, sweet, and strong enough to remind you it’s happy hour. The prices were wallet-friendly, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and the service made us feel like regulars. Great food, great friends, and great deals—what more can you ask for?

Google
Superb. We live in the mountains and don't get to enjoy city life as often as we'd like, so when we eat out, we want to do it in places that are worth our time. We found ourselves in Louisville, settling Zucca thanks to a quick Google search showing the outdoor seating we needed to accommodate our dog. We were shown to a table with some shade and someone brought it a bowl of water for the dog, along with some menus. The server introduced themselves and took our drink and antipasti orders. The food arrived quickly. The squid was perfect - not easy to do. The garlic bread was delicious, as was the squash fritter. The house red was pleasantly fruity. Entrees were 2 pizzas and beef bavette. The pizza crust was excellent (my dog also seemed to approve when he stole the leftovers). The beef was melt-in-the-mouth perfection (the dog couldn't get to that). Dessert was a batch of excellent cannoli and a chocolate torte, made with almond flour, like a chocolate brownie, but lighter. The food was excellent. The service seemed very much like a family-run place - very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Try it. It's excellent.

Google
It was our first visit. We will be back. This is a farm to table place. Lovely story. The waiter explained every dish on the menu. We asked a lot of questions, and he was very patient with us. A hostess took a picture for us. The food is amazing. We highly recommend it. We day inside, and it was a bit loud, but that just meant the restaurant was full and everyone was having a good time.

Google
Stopped by for happy hour on a Saturday and had a great experience. They have a ton of options at fairly reasonable prices. We tried the butternut squash arancini and funghi pizza, both of which were delicious. The free bread that they give you also was super tasty. Favorite drink was the basilico, though the house pinot grigio was also great. I wasn't as much of a fan of the sangria di cristo, but it wasn't bad.

Google
pro tip: get the garlic bread pasta is very good as well zucca old fashion hit the spot

Google
First time at Zucca, 5/26/24. My experience was above expectations. Beautiful scenery and staff. I love the outdoor seating area. Nina is a great waitress. Will definitely be coming back to visit again.

Yelp
We have been going to Zucca since it opened, and it is definitely in its best iteration yet. We recently had our daughter's high school graduation celebration dinner there with 13 people. The service was stellar--execution was flawless. All 13 entrees came out at exactly the same time. The food is excellent at Zucca. We had the beet carpaccio, butternut squash arancini, and scampi apps and all three were fantastic. Everyone was raving about the apps. Everyone raved about their various entrees as well. The service is always excellent at Zucca. All of the staff are top-notch. The ambience is lovely as well. Very cozy Italian vibe. I highly recommend Zucca!

Yelp
Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine. Service is amazing from reception to table server. Wine list has a great variety of Italian wines. Entree look small but it's really just enough. Desert super delicious! BTW, got to try the calamari, out of this world. Highly recommend this place for Italian food.

Yelp
We recommend to try Zucca. Zucca's menu and food would knock your socks off. We tried their garlic bread and fried calamari as a starters; the tomatoes sauce that comes with the garlic bread is delicious. If you like garlic bread and tomatoes sauce is a must try you will love it. Also, if you like fried calamari you would love; the fried calamari sauce that comes with and tomatoes are so fresh and delicious. Give it a try. For our main entree we ordered the Osso Bucco and Herb Roast Chicken. These two dishes we rate them 10 out of 10. The Osso Bucco pork shank was so tender and juice. The Herb Roast Chicken was cooked perfect. The service was outstanding as the staff would assist answering questions about the dishes and recommendations. The ambiance in Zucca is great, not too loud. Is a great place to come and enjoy delicious food. I'm looking forward to comeback again, and enjoy other delicious dishes. Bravo Zucca you're my favorite restaurant.

Yelp
Fabulous happy hour! Runs from 4-6pm Tuesday- Sunday, with some great deals on drinks of all kinds, pizza, and appetizers. We tried a wide range of foods- the standouts were the calamari appetizer and the duck ravioli. The chefs special pizza had ham, various cheeses and a balsamic reduction drizzled over it. It would have been the best part of the meal but it was a little burnt on the bottom. Loved the sangria di christo- it was a great sangria with a little carbonation added that gave it an extra zing. My friend didn't recommend the chicken parmesan, but honestly there were so many other good dishes on the menu that I blame him for ordering something so standard. Our server was excellent, although we asked for two separate checks and he just split the bill in half- would have preferred our items on one bill and the other parties on their own. The ambiance feels very upscale and is nice to bring guests to or for a date. Plus it's on main Street in downtown Louisville, so there's great areas to walk and a nearby arcade for things to do after dinner. Overall, I would go again for happy hour and get pizza and drinks for sure, despite the little hiccups.

Yelp
With all the other good Italian restaurants are closed we tried this one again. Guess we were hoping it got better. We ordered a pizza and four cheese pasta with chicken The pizza (margarita) could have had a bit more cheese and better quality with flavor. The pizza was also Burnt! The dough also lacked flavor making it a pizza in a pinch. The pasta was tasty however they used shredded boiled flavorless chicken and they did not remove the cartilage. Biting into crunchy chicken cartilage was very unappetizing We asked the food runner for a plate to share the pizza and never returned. Finally our waiter reappeared and never asked how the food was but did bring a plate. By that time the pizza was cold. The best service was from a young boy maybe 14 who was confident and witty. Good thing he was working to help the other servers. I would have given 2 stars but he pulled it up to 3

Yelp
This is my top favorite date night restaurant in Louisville. Their prices are reasonable and portion sizes are filling. The last time I was there I was able to order Duck ravioli and it was fabulous! The service can sometimes be a bit slow if the restaurant gets busy but I've never been disappointed or brought cold food.

Yelp
Decided to try this place after going shopping on a Sunday. I'm really glad we did. I got the Fettuccine Funghi and added chicken. It was so good. Fresh mushrooms with that sauce is just one of the best things I've ever eaten. The chicken was not just white meat, it was a mixture which is really nice to see. The noodles were cooked perfectly as well. So good. My girlfriend got Fettuccini Quatro Formaggio, which I had a bite of - and it was dang good too. For sure what I will be getting next time if I'm not craving mushrooms. Service was great, they are really attentive to you and make sure you have everything and are getting everything that you need. Servers will bring you bread before your meal with some olive oil, which is delicious as well. The place looks and feels like it could be in Italy somewhere. The tables seem old, which is not bad - at all. Things feel new yet rustic; as if everything is old but yet well taken care of. We will for sure be going here again.

Yelp
Superb atmosphere and service. Disappointing food. I read later about others experiences which turned out to be similar to mine. I'd love to support the business but they need to improve the food and cook it.

Yelp
Always good- solid service (Megan was great!) never disappointed when I come to eat at this place

Yelp
Went mid week in December at 5pm. Was only able to get a table at the noisy bar. My friend had pasta which she enjoyed and I ordered pizza which was terrible. Service not great, perhaps due to being stuck in the bar while the dining room was empty. Wont be back.

Yelp
Rating is 3.5 stars. Dinner on Sunday evening in November, 7pm - very quiet restaurant with few people. Host very friendly. Server knowledgeable and attentive. Food was ok. Not fantastic, not bad. Would be higher rating but one person became very ill later that evening. We are guessing from the cream-based pasta. The Fettucine Salsiccia was disappointing. Too dry and the sausage was actually ground meet. Only 2 pieces of broccolini. It was a birthday so we ordered the cannoli. Presentation was nice. Probably not headed back this way for a while.

Yelp
I'm in love with this little spot off of Main Street in Louisville! It is so cute when you walk by and I've always wanted to visit. I'm very glad we made a reservation on a Friday night, because it was packed. There were people eating inside and outside. All the food we had was very fresh and delicious! The pasta and pizza dough are made in house. Everything was spiced perfectly and we left feeling happy and full. If you like mushrooms, definitely get the fungi pizza or pasta. I totally recommend the spot if you're looking for great Italian food with a cute or romantic ambience.

Yelp
My favorite italian restaurant in Colorado. I go back to Zucca for every special occasion. Anything with the hand-made pasta is delicious. The house limoncello and tiramisu are favorites as well.
google avatar

Sara Y.

Yelp
The restaurant had great style and warm service. The food was okay. Weirdly overcooked and over salted in some situations and under seasoned in others. Not bad, just not that good.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
The service is horrible. Employees running around more preoccupied about picking dirty dishes from empty tables than helping customers. The soup is so little .the salad was good. The bread is cold. Italians we like our bread warm. Meatballs great.

Yelp
This is a cute Italian restaurant located on the main st in Louisville! They have great outdoor seating and the inside is very cozy. We visited for happy hour. They have plenty of appetizers, pizzas and drinks on the HH menu. My personal favorite was the shrimp scampi and caprese. The caprese tasted so fresh! The table bread was a bit stale and dry. My friend and I split the pesto pasta for the main dish. This had an interested taste, not enough pesto and I think the brown butter had a strong flavor. I'd like to come back and try other pastas as they're made fresh daily!

Tess N.

Yelp
Ambience, too loud. I can understand the customers but the staff in the bar are super loud it seems that they're doing it in purpose for some reason which is disappointing... The Chicken Parm was OK but the spaghetti noodles was overcooked for my liking. The Osso Bucco is not what I'm used to having, the taste is OK but it's not in tomato sauce with shanks, marrow type of meat. Overall did not enjoy the meal because the place is too loud.

D W.

Yelp
We had such a great time, I highly recommend this spot! The energy was fun and uplifting and our meals were amazing! The meatballs and garlic bread are a must, my favorite dinner was the Vodka pasta and beet salad, it was fabulous! The manager stopped by our table to check on how we were doing and was so sweet and fun. We will be back!

Samuel T.

Yelp
Very friendly and attentive service. Cozy establishment; feels warm and inviting. I had the shrimp and butternut squash risotto and I would order it again in a heartbeat. The most challenging part of the experience was deciding what to order, because everything on the menu sounded wonderful. The tiramisù was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. I loved this place and I can't wait to go back.

Mike C.

Yelp
Service always friendly and excellent. Love the food, ambience, people. One of my go to places, love it there

Sarah L.

Yelp
Great happy hour, fabulous service and an overall fav place to eat in Louisville. Love the Butternut Squash Arancini and the Meatballs Pomodoro. Good selection of wine and cocktails. Love the friendly and attentive staff, too.

Yelp
What a cute little gem in downtown Louisville. Service was phenomenal and loved the aesthetics. Calamari appi was probably one of the best I have EVER had (sauce was on point). I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
We are continuously impressed with the level of service we receive visiting this restaurant. The menu continues to change and provides top tier dishes for anyone who is a foodie. The best part is their bar and drink offerings. Zucca is a restaurant that shouldn't be missed!
google avatar

Yelp
Best Italian food in Colorado by far! Had the Lasagna bolognese, glass of Moscato, and the Chef's Cheesecake! The cheesecake was lemon with a blueberry topping (assuming seasonal). Staff was incredibly friendly, food came out in a timely fashion, couldn't be happier! It's such a quaint spot, very relaxed and cozy!

Yelp
Zucca Italian Ristorante is the Frank Sinatra of the Italian restaurant world in Louisville, CO. They've been able to capture an intimate yet inviting time, which is a hard line to sway on. While we were there, there were couples celebrating birthdays and families celebrating just being together. It was amazing to look around the room and feel the energy that the rich Italian food was bringing out. The servers are kind, polite and very knowledgeable of the menu. There is an extensive wine list that has a map of the regions you can drink from. It was so neat! We ended up ordering the Cavatelli Vodka Rustica and Fettuccini Fungi. The Cavatelli was served in a rich and hearty vodka sauce that truly knocked the socks off of your palate, while the Fettuccini was silky and smoother with every bite. They both were exceptional, but if I had to order just one I'd swing toward the Cavatelli every time. It'll fly you to the moon and back! Needless to say, we cannot wait to go back and experience more of the menu. There is an array of homemade pastas that have our names on it. Until then, Saluti!

Yelp
The building itself is beautiful and has the Italian feel throughout. The ambiance was romantic and welcoming. We were seated at the bar and truly enjoyed our drinks. The bartender pays special attention to each drink he makes and both turned out perfect. He made the best old fashioned on happy hour I have ever tasted. We had the calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. The Rigatoni fra diavalo with sausage was the perfect spicy. The cavatelli vodka rustic was flavorful and I could have eaten another serving! We didn't not try dessert but maybe next time.

Yelp
We just held a birthday party at Zucca last Saturday night for 60 people. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Compliments about the venue and the food continue from all who were there!!! Great job Zucca!

Liz T.

Yelp
Zucca is always a pleasure! Great food, exceptional staff and ambiance! If you're looking for a dining experience which is not pretentious, but up scale - this is your place! Zucca also has the BEST happy hour and wine list in town. Love it!!!

Kanoa K.

Yelp
Seriously amazing food! Great atmosphere! And friendly attentive stuff. Went for dinner tonight and already recommended this place to three people so far! Can't wait to visit again and enjoy the food.

Yelp
Italian food is my favorite kind of food, and Zucca is my favorite Italian restaurant in all of Colorado! Their food is incomparable and everything is beautifully plated. The caprese and the arugula salad are flavorful and fresh. The fettuccini fungi changed. my. life. The pasta is made in house and cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce-to-pasta ratio is perfection, and all the flavors blend perfectly. Easily one of the best fettuccini dishes I've ever had, and I'm a huge pasta snob! Their Happy Hour menu has some great affordable selections of shareables and drinks. I live in the Tech Center, but I'll gladly trek all the way to Louisville for Zucca's incredible food!

Adriana M.

Yelp
Had a great date night at Zucca - we were seated promptly and had a great waiter who was very friendly and attentive. We started out with a cocktail from the happy hour menu, a Basilico and it was fantastic. We had a great salad and then We ordered the four cheese fettuccine and we added sausage to it. It was amazing and you could tell the pasta was made fresh- the manager Randy came over and introduced herself and made us feel welcome - it was a great experience, Highly recommend!
google avatar

Terri W.

Yelp
Love the food here and the waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. The only downside is the noise level. We've been here more than once and each time find it challenging to hold a conversation over dinner.
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
It's Meh. Nothing good, nothing bad. Italian food that tastes ok. So if you have to have Italian food and aren't willing to drive, this'll do. The beer selection sucks - big time. The service is fine. Not great but it is 4 stars so better than the food.
google avatar

Jo G.

Yelp
We went to Zucca on a Tuesday night. I really get how hard the restaurant business is these days, staff, etc. I am sorry to say, it was not good. First, the garlic bread is very bready, weighty with hardly a garlic taste, not crispy at all. We were thankful for our waitress who did not charge us for it. The arugula salad and the dressing was very good. The wine was good. I got shrimp scampi appetizer, not good, no garlic taste either and was just blah.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
I'v been meaning to write a review for Zucca for a while now, but for some reason my boyfriend and I haven't gotten around to having an actual sit down dinner here as yet. So, I thought I'd just write a glowing review of the many times we've come in, sat at the bar, and had drinks and appetizers. I've never had a bad experience at Zucca. The bartenders are always wonderful and attentive, and the Restaurant Manager (I think that's his title) is amazing. If he's there and sees us, he makes it his priority to welcome us and make us feel appreciated. Everything I've eaten here has been wonderful so far. The Mediterranean Olives are perfection, the salads always taste fresh, and are dressed and seasoned exactly how I like them, and the Charcuterie selection is varied, plentiful and worth the money. The Garlic Knots are usually really good, but last nights were kind of hard, so I'll just say that may depend on the day. Their Happy Hour is also outstanding, and my boyfriend and I need to make a point to visit more often during 4 to 6 PM (EVERYDAY!). I'll be updating this review as soon as I get around to actually having an entree or two. And I can't wait!!

Yelp
Wow! We went here with another couple to celebrate two birthdays. It was the first time any of us had been here. Lively atmosphere, good vibe, our teenaged waiter really knew his stuff and was very helpful because we all wanted most of the menu. We had the calamari for an app and it was wonderful. A tad small for 4, two orders would have been better. But definitely dip the wonderful bread in the sauce: ahhhhmazing! We ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto, the braised beef, the lamb ragout special and the cavatini. All were outstanding but the braised beef might have taken the crown. Overall a great find and we highly recommend this wonderful place!

Stephanie V.

Yelp
One of my go to restaurants for dinner with friends. Great ambiance, although it can get loud in the main room. Consistently good food and service. Only exception is the margherita napolitana pizza. It was awful.

Danielle L.

Yelp
They're too expensive for what you receive and it's not worth the money. Period. The food is mediocre, at best, yet it's always packed... Not enjoyable
google avatar

Kirsten J.

Yelp
Last night my husband and I met friends for dinner, for our first and last visit. Staff are not well trained and where very stressed, to say the least. Water was poured so uncontrollably and thought we were going to get a bath or shower. Our food and drink were placed on our table like I've never seen before, and felt like we were in the way of the servers. We both got sick from our food last night, with major stomach and intestinal distress. We are thinking it was from the weird and funny tasting salads, which we were burping up all night long. Food poisoning for sure!

Alison H.

Yelp
We had leave after we were seated. It was so incredibly loud that we couldn't even hear each other and talk comfortably sitting right next to each other. We had to wait for our reservation to be ready but couldn't sit at the bar because they were allowing kids to sit belly up to the bar! The staff were very nice though. It would probably be a fun place if you weren't liking to have a date night.
google avatar

Deborah Y.

Yelp
We have had great food & drinks @ Zucca. We have sat inside at a table, at the bar (try the Black Manhattan), & when available outside. Inventive flavors combined for pallet pleasing food. Zucca takes into consideration seasonal flavors , just YUM! Can fill up quickly. Staff is very knowledge of offering on menu & specials from the bar.
google avatar

Fern S.

Yelp
Best happy hour. Best wine list (better than the wine bar down the street). Best service. Everything is delicious. And now that it's patio weather, don't miss out on some great people watching while you dine on the best Italian food in the Boulder area.
google avatar

Eli W.

Yelp
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner out

Yelp
Great happy hour! The outdoor seating was nice and casual. The happy hour food selections were delicious and nice healthy pours of wine. Check them out!

Yelp
Okay service mediocre. Very nice young lady but obviously needs some training. No bread on table had to ask. Food was okay not great. LOUD NOISY . Food just dropped on table . No can I get you anytime else. Forever to get glass of wine . Sorry but there are better. Parma Trotorria better service. Better food . Oh missed something . Cocktail lemon something with Basil No Basil. Sent it back and had a Peroni. SHORT BEER LIST. SORRY ILL PASS NEXT TIME

Nicole H.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in Louisville! Our particular favorites are any of the handmade pastas. Nicer but not at all stuffy or dressy atmosphere. Great wine list.

Mike A.

Yelp
Its fallen waaaaaay off. We used to go all the time and take out of town guests. Menu has become very limited. What is on offer is extremely mediocre and expensive. Service is now consistently a bad joke. Past weekend we were seated quickly but things quickly unraveled. Drinks took 20 min because they "were out of glasses" - WTAF? You could tell we were in for the inevitable cascade from there. Food came timely but we were never offered or brought bread to the point I thought they had just stopped offering ..... until we saw our tool bag waiter bring a bread refill to the table next to us. Too late, we already ate didn't bother pointing it out. Never once checked in on us for drinks or food satisfaction until we had all been obviously done for +15min and the manager finally cleared the table. Tool bag finally surfaced again for the desert upsell of course. Hard pass bro - got desert elsewhere on principle. I could see this coming for years now but we're officially done. So many superior options.

Yelp
Ended up at Zucca last Wednesday night, as the BBQ restaurant down the street was closed. Since we were already in downtown Louisville, we decided to try out a local restaurant, and Zucca had promising reviews on Yelp, and we were hungry. No reservation, no problem. We were sat in a quiet room, off of the main dining room. Hannah was our server. She was nice, yet she clearly forgot about us after she got our beverages. A very small basket of bread and olive oil were on the table, yet no parmesan cheese and no pepper were ever seen or offered. We started with the fried calamari which was good, but nothing special. He ordered the Fettuccine Quattro Formaggio with chicken and I ordered Shrimp and Scallop Risotto, (since they were out of my first choice, Pork Osso Buco, at 6:30 pm). Overall, we were both underwhelmed. This was the worst risotto I've ever had. It tasted minty, and nothing like basil. The 3 scallops in my dish were tiny, maybe nickel size. Definitely not worth $24. I've got average skills in the kitchen, yet when I can make a better meal at home, it makes dining out a very disappointing experience. We won't be back. Service - average Meal - average Over priced

Marc S.

Yelp
The pros were good service and farm to table ingredients. The Fettuccine Quattro Formaggio and salmon were good. However, other items were way too salty. I am not particularly sensitive to salt, but the caprese- too salty, vegetable lasagne- too salty, meatballs and spaghetti meh. Without a consistently well prepared menu, I would not return.
