I had high expectations for this place, especially after accidentally visiting another restaurant of the same chef which is a Michelin-starred restaurant nearby (Zarzo), where both the atmosphere and the chef’s warmth made the experience exceptional. Naturally, I hoped for a similar quality here.
While the menu seemed promising, the actual taste of the food was disappointing—it didn’t meet our expectations. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed irritated, particularly about our requests related to allergies, which felt unprofessional. Guests with dietary restrictions shouldn’t be made to feel like an inconvenience.
The wine list, however, was impressive, offering a nice selection of quality wines. The design and ambiance were also highlights. When the restaurant is full, there’s a pleasant buzz that adds to the atmosphere. The glass walls, softened by curtains, lend a feeling of privacy and warmth.
One surprising downside was the lack of cocktails on the menu. This is an odd choice for a fine dining restaurant, as guests who can’t drink wine due to health reasons would likely appreciate a cocktail option.
In summary, despite its potential, I can’t recommend this restaurant based on my experience. I’ll definitely try the other location and hope it lives up to its reputation. On a positive note, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and thoughtfully designed.
