Zukerino Pastry Shop

Love their pastries. I don’t know what most of them are called but never had anything bad there. Everyone that works there has been so nice and they bombard you with free samples. My favorite is the cookies coated in powdered sugar. So so good. Unfortunately, we can’t eat those too often for obvious reasons. So when we do gonthere, we splurge.

Absolutely fantastic! As soon as we walked in, it felt like we were in my childhood bakery up north. They are passionate about their craft, and their selection is delicious.

What a great Bakery and priced reasonably to where me and my family will become regular customers. I've gone by here hundreds of time without stopping and recently wanted to bring some sweets to my Doctors office. One of the owners put a ginger cookie in my hand to try-WONDERFUL! I bought an assortment of cookies for $15 and the office where I brought then raved. I can't say I know Greek desserts but I do know what tastes good and this is it!!!

Glad we found this place. Random assortment of pastries and cakes. We liked the chocolate mousse cake and baklava the best! But everything was delicious.

I stopped in with my daughter and grandson and we were greeted by a lovely woman who jumped right in she charmed my grandson into a cookie! He fell in love with her as did my daughter and I. We purchased a sample cookie box and rice pudding. There were so many choices. MUST TRY HER GINGERBREAD! She explained how each one was baked and I could have stayed all afternoon! This is a must for anyone needing a dessert (pies, cakes, breads, cookies, baklava, ginger bread and more) for any occasion or just celebrating yourself. Will not go anywhere else. Thank you

I picked up a slice of coconut cake today, and it was really good. The frosting was light and fluffy, the cake was very moist, and it wasn’t too sweet. I’ll definitely return and try more treats.

Does anyone know a grec doctor that is proper for my mechancials? Then I say a lot of curse words, known as explicatives. I eat the pastries like medecine. Tiny amounts at a time. No just corfu hides in the closet or under the table. So I would write on a card my name and number and say call me if you need me to measure the parcel of land. Because he needs me to measure the land parcel for his measuring tape work, Noah's ark, to work properly. That's all i can say. So he does whatever and he will drop off what is known as a card of some sort on how to call him and why and he is holding space, so I can releive and balance myself. I can't tell you that part either. But I'm aware of it. Ok, so Enzo the bull terrier ate the TV remote and went to the UGA care and they did something because he does not like anywhere near his butt touched, like at all. It's weird. Ok, so which Enzo to Emory next time?

I drove an hour and 30 minutes to come to this bakery. I purchased an Italian rum cake. Once I received the cake and we took it home and cut it it had chocolate in it. It was dry and this is not how you make an Italian rum cake. We called the bakery, where they remade the cake and everything was white on the inside, which is how it should be, but they didn’t have the cake soaking in Room and the cake was dry and tasted like a regular cake I would NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Your eyes will ask you for every item in the showcase~ definitely try the baklava! The service is good, and the people are warm and friendly! This is a family owned pastry shop. "Old World" comes to mind. There's zilch ambiance, a busy bakery stacked and stuffed counter full of delicious Greek desserts.

Amazing Desserts & The Owners are fantastic people! I work at Alfa Gryro Grill in Gainesville & I always let people know how incredible this bakery is! If you visit, the inside is wall to wall deserts & more! The customer service is outstanding! If you want authentic Greek desserts this is the bakery for you!!

Zukerino's deserts are hands down, THE BEST! We have ordered from them for years, but had a tiramisu cake for a party yesterday that was AMAZING! We are huge fans!!!

At first, I had trouble finding their bakery. The building is tucked behind a gas station and Dunkin Donuts on a street, Cotillion Dr, running off of North Peachtree Rd. I called the bakery and their very kind staff guided me to them. Upon entry, I was greeted by their friendly staff. She offered me one of their recently released gluten-free cookies. It was delicious. I gazed at all the delicious looking pastries and cakes in the glass display cases. The bakery is well lite and welcoming. All the pastries and desserts are value priced and delicious. If you are in the area, this bakery is a must visit for desserts and treats. I ordered a Baklava roll drizzled in chocolate and a cannoli for myself and a Gluten Free almond cookie for my better half. The staff person also gave me a sample of their new GF cookie made with meringue.

Everything is a work of art! It is like being in a European bake shop. I know of no other place like it in Atlanta.

Our dinner guests brought a smorgasbord of treats from this bakery. Carrot cake, chocolate mousse cake, cannoli, baklava and other Greek treats. Everything is delicious!

Delish! Crystal helped me both times and was very nice! There's no seating inside, but they have some cute little tables outside. Plenty of parking. Here's what I've tried: - Feta Tiropita ($5.00): Feta pie, but it wasn't too feta-y tasting. It tasted more like a blintz, which I liked! Fresh out of the oven. Hot and flaky! - Almond Baklava ($3.50): Oh wow. So sweet. I could only have a couple bites, but I'm not complaining - it'll last me longer! - Almond Wedding Cookie (Crystal gave it to me for free! So nice): Good, but I would try something else next time instead of getting it again. - Baklava Cheesecake ($6): Good, but I think the regular baklava was better. Was actually better the next day. I had to break it up over multiple days. - Tiramisu ($6): Some of the layers were a little dry. Wasn't too impressed at first, but it was better the next day! - Cannoli ($3): I really liked it. The filling had good flavor! They have so many pastries and cakes and cheesecakes. I can't wait to go back to try more!

Everything here is freshly made and terrific. If you're lucky, they'll have freshly made Pastitsio!

I stopped by today, excited to try some authentic Greek pastries. I was not disappointed! The lady serving me was absolutely lovely and gave me some free samples. I ended up trying a variety of things. The portions are huge and will last you several days. The pastries themselves are definitely authentically Greek (I am European and I've been there multiple times), and they are light, moist, and flavorful. I give this place my fullest recommendation.

What a GEM! Why isn't this place talked about more? Hmm maybe that's good for me to keep it to myself :) but really, this place was so good! I stopped in yesterday around 1pm to pick up some baked goods. I found this place just while searching bakeries nearby. I walked inside and was instantly in awe by the smell! They have lots of Greek baked goods to choose from. I came in for something sweet, but it looked like they had some savory options as well. They have lots of choices between baklava, cookies, pies, cakes. I opted for the baklava cheesecake. It just caught my eye and I couldn't say no! I mean... baklava cheesecake! How amazing does that sound? I actually got two slices, one for me and one for my fiancé. They aren't cheap - about $6 a slice. But let me tell you they are large slices! Layers of baklava with puffed pastry and cheesecake! So so good! It is sweet and rich and so delicious. It can satisfy any sweet tooth instantly. I will for sure be coming back to try other goodies from this place! Check them out.

Delicious pastries, but also the nicest people. They are truly so kind and always happy to supply a sample or two to my kiddo. Their cannolis are delicious but we also love getting a mixed box of their cookies and baklava.

Amazing experience! The shop is adorable, every pastry we ordered was perfect, not too sweet and full of flavor...quality unmatched for baklava and the varieties, the eclair, wedding cookies, you name it! We loved the samples, just made us order more, lol...thank you!

Eek! I accidentally deleted the picture of the cannoli cake we had ordered for the head of department at work. It was excellent and everyone LOVED it. Even those who are very picky. Service was friendly and great. The powdered cookie and almond cookie were good but not quite what I was used to. The powdered sugar cookie was lacking in a bit of taste and the almond cookie a tad too sticky and sweet. Other than that the cannoli cake was a win

Ahhh why do I love family run bakeries? Because they bake love. No really. This place made me happy like I was crushing some baked happy at Hillcrest Bakery in Bothell WA- pre homeless invasion of course- This place is money. Listen to the ladies tell you what you want. They won't steer you wrong.

OMG! What an amazing place! Took home a delicious Greek cheese cake (slice) for dessert along with a couple of pieces of Baklava. I can't wait for dessert tonight!! Try this wonderful bakery if you get a chance. You will not be disappointed!

I should give them 1 star because they do not help me with weight loss :) I avoid most sweets, excluding cannoli, and when I go other places, that is all I get. But here I also add on Almond baklava, their strawberry chocolate mousse cake, slices of cheesecake for my wife, spanakopita, etc, etc, etc. I always order what looks good, and it is always delicious, even when it takes three days to eat.

Stopped by because I was craving chocolate. I ordered a chocolate mousse items and got a few Savoy items as well. The dessets were not a rich as I would've liked. However, the Savoy items were great. I would go back if I didn't feel like cooking dinner.

What a great find. A huge selection of great pastries. The Coconut Macaroons, Baklava, Jumbo Chocolate Eclairs & Danish (key lime) amazed . Worth the drive !

After living in Dunwoody for the past 6 years, I have driven past Zukerino literally a thousand times. On my birthday weekend, we decided to pick up some desserts to celebrate. The lady inside at the counter was busy but stopped to take the time to help us out. She gave us some a couple dollars worth of free samples, which was pretty awesome! We ordered a variety of desserts, including some shortbread cookies, the baklava cheesecake, baklava (pistachio) and chocolate covered almond baklava. Everything was delicious and a generous portion size - you can't go wrong. Our favorite dessert was the baklava cheesecake - flaky, crispy and decadent, without being overly sweet. However, the show stopper was definitely the spanakopita we got on a whim as we were checking out. The spanakopita was a thick savory pastry chock full of spinach and egg. And the crispy flaky pastry? Perfection! Don't let the hidden, quiet parking lot deceive you. Zukerino is open and a great spot to pick up some desserts or a snack!

UGH! I drove ALL OF THE WAY here, today, Saturday at 9:15 AM and much to my surprise, they were CLOSED! The sign says they are open at 9 A.M. but apparently NOT TODAY... Too bad, I really had a taste for Baklava. My MONEY is GREEN someplace else.

This place makes amazing cookies!! Went there just now. Sign & webpage says it's open until 6, but they are closed. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE & WINDOW SIGNS!! (Still love this place)

My husband and I have bought at least 4 cakes in the last several months for various occasions. All we can say is this bakery is unbelievable! Everything we have ever gotten has been outstanding and we have recommended this business to numerous friends.

Best pumpkin pies in Atlanta. We order our holiday pies from them every year. Everything they make is awesome.

Best cakes and pastries in town HANDS DOWN! The staff is super friendly and saved my butt on a last minute order for my MIL's birthday. I order or just pick out what they have every time I'm in charge of bringing dessert anywhere and everyone that's ever had their desserts becomes obsessed. Everything is so fresh and light and delicious. Their pistachio baklava is insane. Cheesecakes are light and wonderful and they have so many fun flavors. Can't say a single bad thing about this place!

What an excellent bakery. I stopped by just to pick up some dessert since I'm on vacation. I didn't know what I wanted, so the lady offered me a free "sample" of the baklava. First of all, that sample was big enough to be its own dessert. Secondly, I'm not normally a big fan of baklava; but this was the best I ever had. I left with an éclair and a box of assorted baklava. The éclair turned out, also, to be the best of its kind I have ever had. Can't recommend this bakery enough.

Best, fresh, homemade pastries from all over. They use real cream, not frosting and all of their chocolate is rich but carefully applied in just the right amount they have a vast variety of beautiful and delicious cookies and pick me ups.

The lady was very nice and gave me an almond cookie to try. Mouth watering. Bought a chocolate dipped baklava, a cannoli, and a piece of chocolate cake. The family opinion was the chocolate cake was the best. But they left me the delicious canoli. I suspect the majority of their pastries are sold to restaurants. I ate the bakvala at sababa for a few years. But they are very supportive to their retail customers. Drive in instead of drive past

The cake was amazing!! Exactly what We dreamt of. We wanted to have a decent gender reveal cake for our upcoming baby, and we got one. At first I searched a bakery near me for custom cakes and this shop popped up in search results. We thought of visiting this place and discuss what we want to have. Owner of this shop is very nice and treats very well. She listens the requirement patiently and delivers exactly as per one's need. Me and my wife really liked the cake and most amazing was its taste.

The BEST bakery in Georgia! The lemon meringue pie is to die for! I drive from Lake Lanier and it's worth every mile!

Zukerino has many pastries and baked goods which are just the best around. They provided AUTHENTIC Greek pastries (baklava, melamekarona, kourambiedes, galaktoboureko) and spanakopita and tiropita as they are made in Greece for my son's wedding. Everything was delicious!!! We received so many compliments and we are so happy we used them. They are so nice and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed!

Best cake ever! Everyone loved it especially the icing made from cream. We will order our cakes from here in the future.

I wish we could have taken all these treats home with us. Crystal helped us make some good choices, and we look forward to warming up our olive bread later.

The staff is extremely kind! They explained each item and offered a sample of their molasses cookies. Everything that I've tried so far has been amazing. Their tiramisu is exquisite! Will definitely be back to try more things.

This place is incredible! We were traveling through Georgia for Spring Break and needed to celebrate a special birthday. They took on the challenge of creating a cake that's been our tradition for years and knocked it out of the park! Incredible experience from start to end! Highly recommend!

Came in with my friend a week before Christmas. The owner was in and offered us a Greek Christmas cookie: Melomakárona (I googled that). It's a cookie with orange, cinnamon and honey flavor. It's vegan and just melted in my mouth. I went in with no intention of getting anything and left with a box of those cookies for my littles. I also got a lady finger because my friend loves the baklava there. Served with a smile and left with a happy palate!

This place gets 5 chef's kisses. I am particularly sold on their various baklava, and their Greek bread. So many great offerings. Also, the ladies in the shop were warm and welcoming, which for me is #1. Definitely going back soon!

Worst wedding cake place ever! Paid $350 for this ridiculous cake that the owner swore her son could make! I stopped by 3 times before my wedding date where she reassured me her son could make the picture of the attached photo. I could of ordered it from Publix and have gotten better results! You could imagine how distraught I was when he came to my wedding reception with what he said looks like the picture. The fondant started to melt. When asked for a picture.. I saw it and started to cry! Worst day ever! When asked for a refund where I brought the whole cake back. He had the nerve to charge me for the supplies! My question - why should I have to pay when you didn't deliver what was promised? Only refunded me $200 after I told he could take the cake and dump it in his dumpster. Horrible service and DO NOT BELIEVE THE WIFE OR HUSBAND WHEN THEY SAID THEY CAN BAKE ANY CAKE. LIES! They do not live by their name. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS NOT TO GET ANY PASTRY OR CAKES FROM THIS PLACE!

Another AMAZING cake from Zukerino's. This time was the Oreo. It was one of the best cakes I've had from anywhere. The staff is super friendly and anything I've ever gotten from here has tasted heavenly!

I ordered a chocolate cake from Zukerino Pastry shop for my sister birthday and its so yummy and everyone like it so much and I am in love with shop already. I moved from Virginia and this place is right next to my apartments and my go to place for any occasion.

They got a new, better! person at the front desk! I didnt want to give up on this place, So I called in 2 days in advance for a birthday cake. I asked her again which cakes contain alcohol and she says the rum cake (D'oh), we decided on the Santorini cake..drum roll.. without alcohol! This was a lightbulb moment, I am ordering a cake so I can of course ask them to not add alcohol. I stupidly did not think of this before. Anyways, the cake was so so good, I am impatiently waiting for someone to have a birthday so I can order this cake again, its the best cake I have ever had! (well here in ATL atleast) :D

Randomly found this place, and so glad I did! I haven't been able to find orange cake outside of Greece and they have the best orange cake! The taste is perfect and so authentic. The baklava was delicious as well! Next time I will try the Spanakopita. The owner came out and was so nice and gave us a sample of some delicious pistachio dessert. Everything tastes traditional and made with great care.

This place is tucked away as you cross the stop light going down on Peachtree Road. I have passed this place for many years now. Every time I passed the shop eyes went towards it, thinking I should stop by. Today, I was driving by like many times before, with my husband. He goes, "hey, we should stop by that pastry shop one day." In that moment, I decided today was the day. I pulled in to the parking lot and walked in. I was greeted by some great smells (sugand, we call it in Gujarati). Our eyes scanned across all the sweets in the shelfs. We were greeted by a very friendly attendant who knew about all the goodies in the shelves. We settled on a Boston creme doughnut that looked so rich it could actually melt in your mouth (and guess what it did!). We will definitely be by this shop once again to treat ourselves and our friends and family with little sweets from this great family owned bakery. Tip: They don't make cakes without eggs. They can, however, make cookies without eggs for your various events. They also have some treats that have no eggs and are gluten free.

I ordered my mom's birthday cake from here, and unfortunately didn't get what I asked for! I had ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling and ganache on top. The cake I picked up had vanilla buttercream, way too much of it, and didn't taste like buttercream. I also asked if I should refrigerate the cake or keep at room temperature since we wouldn't be eating it until much later that day, and I was told to keep it at room temperature. Unfortunately, this caused all the ganache to crack and the cake looked horrible when we celebrated. The actual cake was good, but the icing/ganache and writing were very disappointing. I had such high hopes for this local find and wanted to support small business, but wish I had gone to Publix. :(

You will not find better Greek pastries at retail in Atlanta. Served up with true Greek "philoxenia" the baklava, kourambiedes, melomakarona and many savory dishes like spanakopita and tiropites are as authentic as you will find anywhere in the U.S. And I can say that with conviction as a Greek that has traveled all over Greece for more than four decades and have sampled pastries in Greek-American bakeries in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Zukerino is the real thing. Stop by and you will be treated with generous help from the delightful owner Soula and her family. Enjoy a treat today!
