"In this restaurant, located in a central street that is somewhat tucked away in the centre of town, enjoy a gastronomic tour around Spain, Italy and several countries in Asia, accompanied by a more tropically inspired dessert menu. In good weather, make sure you eat out on the terrace!" - Michelin Inspector
I had the tasting menu with wine pairing
it was amazing
Seven dishes
Seven different wines
for 80 euros.
Chef Lucas Maes & his son prepared very tasty dinner.

Amazing delicious food with great presentation. The highlights were the kimchi croqueta and prawn dumplings. The restaurant is beautiful. We sat at the counter to see the buzz in the kitchen and hopefully have a little chat with the crew. However the service wasn’t engaging, nor were there any smiles. The chefs all looked grumpy. It detracted from would have otherwise been an easy 5* meal.

The tasting menu in Zumaque is amazing. The flavors and textures of each course are very well composed, some of them like the croquetas were outstanding. This menu is close to a Michelin star - one of the best diners we had in Teneriffa. Service was good apart from one slightly arrogant waiter.

Beautiful service and food. The staff was very polite and helpful all the time. The food was an incredible and unique experience. The dishes we tried were something innovative and absolutely tasty and well balance. Really good wine selection and the staff always recommend with accuracy. Definitely the best option for a quality meal in Puerto de la Cruz.

The restaurant is located in the old city and has been recommend by the Michelin guide to visit if given the opportunity.
The innovative of the food is based on the Asian Kitchen but adjusted to local resources.
You will experience the whole power of the sea by visiting Zumaque.
The service and presentation was basic and not out of the ordinary.
The environment was nice but the music was a mix of international songs which did not suit the setup.

An absolute gem, the kimchi croquettes were a delight. Just wish we could have had the wine pairing taster menu but my wife isn't keen on raw fish and I was driving! Friendly and prompt waiters, interesting dishes. Really nice.
