"In this elegant restaurant full of light, set in a modern, fully glazed building near the Lisbon Cruise Terminal (opposite the intriguing Museu do Lactário), the famous Chef Marlene Vieira makes a case for a top-notch contemporary concept, always grounded in the traditional Portuguese culinary repertoire, yet open to inspiration from other cuisines around the globe. It is surprising both due to its interior décor, dominated by white and red tones, and its pleasant terrace overlooking the Tagus. Interesting dishes? Algarve pink prawns with seaweed and lemon butter; Alentejo pork chop with fried polenta and roasted pepper ketchup; creamy shellfish and coriander rice..." - Michelin Inspector

After multiple failed attempts to find good restaurants, we were losing faith until we came to Zunzum. We came early around 6 and the restaurant was empty. We got the ceviche which looked beautiful and tasted fresh. The grilled octopus was definitely the star! It was tender and perfectly cooked. The side of broccolini paired so well with the richness of the octopus. We also got the fish and clam rice which was also packed with flavor, though a bit on the salty side but overall great. They also had a list of interesting cocktails. The decor was open and unique. Having regular table and a round couch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience.

We had the prix fixe for a 6- course tasting menu. It was delicious! The food was innovative, portions were generous, would return and recommend. The severs were attentive and took care of our two young kids. Highly recommend!

Last Friday evening i have got the pleasure to visit zunzum gastrobar. I loved the food service and the nice personal, my favourite was the lamb sandwich. The bathroom was a bit disappointing, in terms of cleanliness. The view over Lisbon and the river was lovely but obstructed by construction and a fence. I do definitely recommend visiting ! Zunzum thank you for the excellent service and food 🍱

In a preferential location at the cruise ship terminal right on the Tejo riverfront in a cosy well groomed small park, this specialty restaurant offers a terrace and a large, modern and light interior with present music, a varied Portuguese fusion menu and a good wine card with kind and efficient service. We were 2 for lunch that shared the couvert, the today’s special of a delicious and generously served crab guacamole, a very tasty lamb sandwich with coffee and waters for the fair €30/pax. It is a favourite.

Very recommend to visit this place on your next trip! Everything was 10/10- service, food, vibe. All of our dishes were more than yummy. Delicious, simple and smart bites like the tuna tartlet and the avocado toast. The beef skewer was incredible.

Reserved a table at Zunzum Gastrobar, a Michelin Bib restaurant, for a Thursday lunch. It was quiet on a really hot April afternoon and we were the first customers of the day. Ordered their pink swordfish cerviche, partridge pie with mushrooms, lamb katsu sando, roasted octopus, lobster and clam pasta, and duck magret with oven-baked rice. What's really good: pink swordfish cerviche, lobster and clam pasta, and duck magret with oven baked rice. The tangy-sweet swordfish cerviche was a perfect appetiser. It was refreshing with a tinge of spiciness. Lobster and clam pasta's savoury sauce was balanced by its accompanying sweet lobster meat. Duck oven baked rice provided a great carb finish. Duck meat was tender, and the baked rice with grape chutney was delicious. Good, but not great: Roasted octopus. I usually prefer more chew for the octopus, but the one in this dish had a softer texture. Misses: partridge pie and lamb sandwich. Could be better. We were impressed by the service at Zunzum Gastrobar as each dish was explained by the wait staff. Would say that this was expected from a Michelin Bib rated restaurant. The restaurant was spacious, and had an open bar concept. Tables were well spaced from one another giving some privacy to conversations. It felt comfortable. I would recommend to dine here at least once.

We had high expectations for ZunZum, considering its association with the Michelin guide, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The food was good, but not extraordinary—certainly not at the level I anticipated. The service, however, was a real letdown. There was zero attention to detail. For instance, after finishing the bread and butter, no one bothered to clear the empty plates until the very end of the meal. We asked for the sommelier’s recommendation for two wines, expecting some guidance. Instead, he showed up 10 minutes later with two wines already chosen. The red wine was good, but the white wine, while decent, did not pair well at all with my wife’s dish. Overall, the experience lacked the refinement and attentiveness I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber...and price range.
