Zur Linde

Always excellent cuisine with exceptional service. It's one of our favorite dining places in Pfalz. A little out of the main touristed areas but well worth the drive.

I can't wait to eat at this restaurant this coming June. I was visiting my sister pre pandemic and discovered this restaurant while walking down the hill. Absolutely delicious German food, down to earth, and so reasonably priced. I enjoyed their rump steak, and other nightly specials. Left a very good impression that I am looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

A local treasure. Tucked away in the tiny village of Schmalenberg, this is by far my FAVORITE restaurant in Germany. Authentic and reasonably priced. Their steaks are to die for.

One of the finest Dining experience I have ever had,the menu is in German,our group had steak filet and pork in the greatest sauces we have ever had,salads and appetizers were outstanding,desert with vanilla ice cream and warm berries with homemade whipped cream is so perfect,service is so warm and friendly,hope this review will get all of you to enjoy this experience!it’s also the cleanest restaurant that I have ever been in,the care for there place shows in every detail,thank you Zur Linde!

The best restaurant I've eaten at in the Kaiserslautern area. I've had many different dishes, from the Cordon Bleu to the rumpsteak and it has never once disappointed. Everything is cooked to perfection and is extremely flavorful. The cooking staff definitely knows what they are doing. The wait staff is very friendly and the location is great to sit back and relax. This place is a must try, you will not be disappointed!

My favorite restaurant in Germany, a local treasure! They have a beautiful patio in the summer. Always outstanding food and service, and reasonably priced.

We are from California, USA visiting my son who is in the Air Force stationed here in Germany. He took us to this wonderful restaurant and we had the most amazing steaks. They only serve steak a few times a week and we caught it on steak night. Glad we did. The service was wonderful too. We will return.
