Lunch at Zuzu in Farmingdale was an absolute delight! The vodka pizza pie was a standout – perfectly crispy crust with a rich, flavorful sauce. The shrimp pasta was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with succulent and large shrimp. And you absolutely cannot leave without trying their soft serve; it's the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The space is also beautiful and very open. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem in Farmingdale serving tastey Italian food. Awesome brick oven pizzas, pastas and desserts. There is a great vibe throughout the place. It is 1980s themed and lots of good music plays in the background. Our server, Natalia, was one of the best I have ever encountered. She was tremendously welcoming, helpful, personable and professional. She was a major reason that we enjoyed our experience as much as we did. Natalia was truly a Rock Star! We will definitely return!

My best friend and I had the best time at Zuzu. We randomly stumbled upon this place while looking for a good, new food spot in Farmingdale. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised with Zuzu. The pizzas were delicious (I highly recommend the Pesto pizza), and the service was very accommodating and even let us make our own affogato. The 70s/disco theme throughout was phenomenal and brought in a lot of people by the end of the night. This is definitely a fun place to visit with great service and delicious food!

We called their catering department last minute to plan a bereavement lunch they were so incredibly accommodating. Sophia was able to adjust the time and when the food would be served without any issues. The venue it self is beautiful and the food was delicious. Literally so easy to plan at a time that was so hard for all of us. Will be adding Zuzu to our list of Venues for events moving forward. 10/10 Thank you all so much for the beautiful day! Our Nanny would have loved it.

Google
Zuzu Pizza Bar is fantastic! The calzone with mortadella and pistachios is a standout—absolutely delicious. The 5-truffle pizza is equally incredible, packed with flavor. The staff is friendly, and the ambience is warm and inviting. The restaurant’s decorations are stunning, with a fancy yet fun vibe. My favorite part? The wood-fired oven with its disco ball look—such a unique touch! They also have several spacious party rooms, perfect for private gatherings. Highly recommended for all

Came for a celebratory lunch and at first I was a bit nervous, as we were the only people in the restaurant and the first glasses we were brought were blatantly dirty (I think lipstick?). However, things went more uphill from there. We started with the meatballs and the calamari. The meatballs were a hit, one of the best dishes of the day. The calamari was standard but still good. We grabbed a steak Caesar salad, which was surprisingly pretty good, and the clam pizza, which wasn't my favorite (probably my own fault though the clams were fishier than I expected for the pizza). Service was friendly, attentive (well we were the only ones there), and quick. Parking behind the restaurant was free, so that was nice.

My husband and I ate at Zuzu's for the first time. We had an 8pm reservation at one of their hightops. We loved the energy and vibe inside. The playlist was great, lowlighting with lamps around the bar, and disco balls - even the pizza oven was one giant disco ball. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We had the margarita pizza - the sauce was so fresh. We shared the baked clams, ravioli, and eggplant parm. Everything was fantastic. Our waitress Jessica was extremely kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Been dying to try this new spot and it was amazing! The atmosphere is great, I love their disco ball pizza oven. The food was phenomenal! We ordered the margarita pizza, 10/10! I had the pasta carbonara, WOW!! Amazing! The kids had the mozzarella sticks which were huge and super crispy! Overall, a great place, great food, great service!

Yelp
Such a yummy lunch date with my girls! All 3 of us ordered a different pasta and no one was disappointed, the fried egg on my carbonara was such a nice touch and the runny yolk was so creamy and delicious on the pasta

Yelp
Was craving a wood fired pizza and came upon Zuzu. Ordered the fried calamari which was perfection in terms that I'm not really a fan of the tentacles (none were served) and they were the perfect width to being crispy. The picked spiced peppers were a perfect addition and both a marinara and aioli sauce was served on the side (which I prefer). The serving was plentiful to the point that I was almost too full for the pizzas! For pizza we ordered the Diavla and Prosciutto Parma. The Diavla had a sweetness due to the honey as well as a salty bite due to the pepperoni. The Prosciutto Parma was a good offset as it was a white sauce. The slices were the thinnest I had but I mean that in a good way. Really great chewy dough. Recommend for a casual night out.

Yelp
A friend went here and said it was great, so decided to check it out. Ordered the arugula salad I wasn't keen on this dressing it was supposed to be balsamic but it had a lot of herbs which I didn't enjoy. Side of meatballs- not the appetizer but a protein addition to the salad. Balls were naked and not fried but tasted good. Pizza with sausage ala vodka was tasty fresh but I'm personally not into sausage so o wouldn't order that again. They forgot my brother's chicken parm and I had to remind the server. He did say it was good when it came out. Nice addition to have soft serve with different toppings as well as other desserts. Service slow but not bad. Music way way too loud for a Sunday when the place was pretty empty. I would consider going back but definitely not rushing to do that. Good place for families or a casual dining experience.

Yelp
Service was great. My favorite was that Divyla (I think that's how it's spelt pizza) with pepperoni and burrata it was delicious. The eggplant parm was also good nothing to write home about. I also loved that they have soft serve ice cream for dessert and it can be your own personal size with different toppings. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
I purchased tickets to a Rose Fest they were hosting. My 1st impression not great - when I approached the hostess stand - she was rude and very unwelcoming - she led with a yea? If I was coming for dinner I would have walked out (hence the 3 stars instead of 4) - instead I walked away from her and asked another employee for assistance, who by the way was amazing - he was welcoming and friendly - verified my name on the list and showed me where to go. This place is really cute and pretty big - we were upstairs which looked like an event space - the food was amazing !! We had light bites as part of our package, they kept replenishing it and there was plenty of choices - the wine was non stop - I hope they host this event again - I had a great time - ok the best part of this place - they have a small rooftop that overlooks Main Street - it was a pretty warm night so we took our wine outside and hung out there making friends

Yelp
11/10/24. Was pleasantly surprised with Zuzu. The bar is large, beautiful and very modern. Service was friendly by Simon. Recognized Max from their sister restaurant and he is engaging and always provides stellar service. Drinks were on point. We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks and the Italian nachos, and were pleased with both. The sticks were cheesy, and the accompanied vodka sauce (thick and creamy) was very good. The nachos were plentiful and such a great/different flavor combo. We finished with some pumpkin soft serve. Delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious, pizza was light and airy. The soft serve dessert was a major plus! But unfortunately the yellow hue lights though gave me a headache half way through the meal that I just don't think I'd be able to come back.

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday funday with my friend. The place is really nice and a huge bar area. I went with the orange chili old fashioned-it had a hint of spice but very tasty. We split the pesto pizza and the Italian nachos. The pizza coulda used a little more sauce but was still tasty-next time I would get a side of one of the dipping sauces for the crust tho. The nachos were phenomenal-huge portion and an insane amount of toppings! We devoured everything. Max, the bartender, was cool. I would def come again.

Yelp
This is only a review on the ice cream window!! Great addition to Main St! Love the idea of curbside soft serve & ice cream! Makes me think of all the things I've heard about Italy serving wine in the wall! If only we could have that! Haha I will say, I was bummed that they didn't have many of the flavors listed. It felt like half the menu said coming soon. That being said - the pistachio flavor I got was creamy and delicious! A kids size was just under $5 which didn't seem toooooo outrageous. Looking forward to dining in the restaurant and trying more ice cream/soft serve!

Yelp
Super cool spot in Farmingdale. The interior of the restaurant is chic 70's. All of the staff are very kind and our waitress Jessica was great and was able to answer any questions we had. The food was great and reasonable- will definitely come here again! One of the best spots Farmingdale has to offer
google avatar

Yelp
WOW! What a fabulous place! Love the interior dining room. Full service bar, huge pizza oven that looks like a disco ball. Service was excellent! Server was very knowledgeable. They don't serve slices, but individual pizzas- 6 slices, as well as other salads, pastas etc. Gotta say, the pizza was amazing, like the best ever. Perfect crust- made with Italian flour/ dough, that tastes great and has less gluten in it. We had the truffle mushroom pizza- but I asked them to put some tomato sauce on it and they did. Very accommodating., Americano pizza and the Buffalo moz pizza. All great. They have an ice cream window next door, and you can order ice cream, for dessert. Also amazing. We shared the pistachio soft serve with hot fudge and it was soooo cream and indulgent. Def worth ordering! There is a catering hall upstairs and another private room in the back for overflow or a private party. Many options. Oh I think they have a DJ in the restaurant on weekend evenings. A real happening place.

Yelp
I've only had the pizza here but it's worth reviewing. Great crust, perfect amount of sauce and fresh Mozzarella. Light and crispy one of my favorite pizzas I've had on Long Island. The margarita pie is the one I had. Will return
google avatar

Lana E.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants when visiting with family in Long Island. Food is fresh! Cocktails are delicious. Service is friendly.
google avatar

Laura J.

Yelp
My friends and I came for drinks and apps at the bar but based on that they still deserve 5 stars! We shared the mozzarella sticks which were crispy and gooey and the vodka sauce was such a nice compliment! The Italian nachos were very unique and probably in the top appetizers I've ever had. They were so amazing, I could have eaten the whole thing. To drink I had the pumpkin Old Fashioned which was made perfectly and so delicious The space is beautiful and modern. The staff behind the bar - Simon especially- were all friendly and very attentive. Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu

Yelp
Fantastic pizza parlour and restaurant. Vibe is fun and festive on a Friday night. They have a disco ball by the bar and the pizza oven is bedazzled!! They do a cute birthday song on the sound system when they bring you your birthday dessert, and the DJ is a great plus for customers who like good music while eating.. count me in. We Enjoyed calamari, diavlo pizza without pepperoni, with a nice kick and super thin. We also enjoyed the vodka pasta, and linguini and Caesar salad dishes with delicious shrimp on top. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. The mixed salad with walnuts, pears and gorgonzola was also great but be sure to mix it up before you munch off the sweet toppings or you are just left with salad.. all very fresh!! To end we enjoyed some pistachio, chocolate ice cream and yummy little cannoli with crushed pistachios. Definitely be b

Yelp
Trying this hot new spot in Farmingdale. Food is delicious and different. The service is excellent. They have disco music on.
google avatar

Sonia P.

Yelp
Horrible service , waitor kept slamming the plates on the table , took forever to take our order , the food was not good at all and came out cold , we didn't get the pizza though and that did look good at the table near by . But the music was amazing on a Friday night . 1000 times better then Harley's .
google avatar

Yelp
Been here twice in the past few weeks and I've been impressed with everything I've had so far. Margherita pizza, 5 mushroom truffle pizza, chicken parm, Sunday sauce: All have been great. Ice cream was great too! Great the hot caramel sauce! So good! Service is friendly, attentive and accommodating. It's a new favorite. Will be back soon to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Being pregnant it's amazing having a place that makes good mocktails! Awesome Aperol spritz with no alcohol! Felt so nice for me to enjoy with my husband.

Yelp
My daughter heard about this new spot and since we love our pizza places we were on the way to check it out. It's right on main street to the right of the butcher market. Parking for non residents is free before 5:00. After that it's 50 cents an hour. Upon entering there is a beautiful bar on the left. The lighting gives off a yellowish hue. There is an imported diamond looking imported pizza oven. The menu has various pizzas and other dishes such as pastas, salami and cheese and some nice entrees and sides. The fries are delicious! We had a margherita pie and a sausage pie. Both were delicious, but my preference was the sausage. Nice cocktail and wine selection including seasonal offerings such as the fall manhattan that I had. Service was friendly and excellent. There was a nice children's menu for our 3 year old granddaughter and soft serve offerings to boot for dessert. We will be back again.
google avatar

Virginia N.

Yelp
I had been here previously for the pizza (delicious). This time we had some entrees (sorry, no pictures). We started with a tricolor salad which had just enough dressing. I got the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe. The pasta was fresh and homemade. My friend got the chicken Milanese and said it was delicious. Both were huge portions and we took home leftovers. The staff were friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

Frank G.

Yelp
Nice casual ambiance Good pizza. Pasta ever well done. Portions are small for the prices Fast service
google avatar

Nicolas L.

Yelp
Great atmosphere Clean and bright Excellent pizza Service was five star Ice cream was delicious
google avatar

Michele D.

Yelp
The service was amazing as was the server. The arancini was delicious and crispy. Our main meals came quickly and were served hot. That's the plus. The music is really annoying. The acoustics amplifies everyone talking and takes the music to a loud level. We were a party of 4 and we had to shout in order for us to have a conversation. That said towards the end of our meal a disco ball that hung from the ceiling was lit up and swirled light around the room. Not sure why this was needed. We are not sure we will return.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience here at ZuZu's. I had the Diavla pizza, the mortadella calzone and the calamari and everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back and trying everything else they offer! If you're in farmingdale and wondering what to try. This is it! They also have really cute decor and a soft service window that is pretty cute and tasty!

Brendan M.

Yelp
anytime you come here ask for Nyzha! best service ive seen here by far and I've been here quite a few times.

Susan S.

Yelp
We have been to Zuzu many many times since they opened . We love the food and the manager is always willing to change one of the 2 TV's to the channel that is airing the golf tournament so we can watch while we eat . Tonight our amazing waitress Nyzha got my daughter's very specific order perfectly and she offered to send out one pizza at a time for my husband and I since we always split two pizzas . Nyzha made the suggestion to have one at a time so the second one doesn't get cold. She is so enthusiastic, helpful and friendly . Her suggestion made our meal even more delicious. Just had to share that. See you again soon Zuzu .

Yelp
We tried 3 different pizza's and an order of meatballs. Everything was very good. Glad I stopped in to try. Ca t wait to try some different dishes. Sorry forgot to take pics.

Yelp
Good thin crust pizza. Nice set up and layout. Good music too. My husband and I split a charcuterie board and a pizza. Pretty tasty

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place but it didn't cut it. Will absolutely try one more time-everyone can have an off day! Atmosphere is great. The decor is trendy with an old Hollywood sort of vibe making for a gorgeous interior. It was fairly empty the day we went but the staff were attentive and personable. Points off just for the food itself. We ordered the burrata Caprese appetizer which came with ice cold burrata with a too-firm rind, and barely pink tomato. The small pepperoni on the pizza were the perfect little toasted cups, but the crust needed a few more minutes in the oven. The bottoms of the beautiful looking slice collapsed when you picked it up. The description of the tre-colore salad with Chicken Milanese sounded amazing, but it came absolutely drenched in dressing and the chicken cutlet was saturated in oil with no crisp in sight. Dressing on the side is probably the way to go here! I liked the idea of cocktails on tap, but the margarita I ordered tasted very artificial - likely would've been tastier if it were made to order. Great staff and great vibes, so we will definitely give Zuzu another shot, but hoping that the food quality is a bit better the second time around.
google avatar

Alison Z.

Yelp
Food are service was great. I couldn't believe how fast the food was brought to the table after ordering. The only criticism is the busser kept trying to take plates away while we were still eating. It seemed like it was a rush to clear the table or flip the table.
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
I dined here with my family on Wednesday night right when it opened at 5pm. First impression was it's grand but not but also very hip and approachable! The design is super clean and modern and quirky which is fun. The lighting is very yellow which takes a little bit to get used to haha. They had a great menu- I like when there's not too many options to choose from because I'm indecisive. They have mocktails too which pregnant me appreciated! The kids menu was also great, lots of variety. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Appetizers were tasty. My favorite were the mozzarella sticks. Baked clams were okay, I prefer chopped up over full clam. Pizzas were phenomenal! Tried the Margherita and Diavla. The Penne Milanese was interesting- I thought it would be a dry cutlet on top of the penne, but it was chopped up and soaked in the marinara sauce. The sauce was on the sweeter side but very tasty. And the soft serve ice cream is a must get of course! Overall great experience. Seems great for parties and fun occasions out or even just a random Wednesday dinner. I predict this place is here to stay to live a long happy life on Main st! Would definitely come back and try more of the pizzas and pastas.

Yelp
Checked out ZuZu in town tonight and I'm almost ready to be rolled out but not before their soft serve sundae. Everything was delicious! Welcome to the neighborhood, please stay!

Yelp
Wow, what a well put together restaurant. Love the concept and look of the place. Service and food were excellent. It's definitely going to be my go to pizza / Itilian spot.

Phillip C.

Yelp
I have wanted to Try this place since I saw it being built, unfortunately the place was understaffed and the food was very subpar. You can get a better meal anywhere on that block. I will not be returning

Gabriela B.

Yelp
Beautiful location, the bar setup was nice and very clean. Sadly didn't get a chance to have a full meal here became just uncomfortable with the service. I went in with a party of two, it was relatively busy but there were many open tables. The hostess was moving us to the back room which a manager then said there was a party and we should wait 5 minutes, perfectly okay but then she just walked us back to the front and said you can sit here, a very small booth right next to the host stand. It's not their fault but the seating was very cramped and I felt glued to the wall as people kept grazing my seat or hovering over us. It was just so small and cramped in we literally joked our food wouldn't fit on the table but didn't make it that far anyway. The server comes, no introduction slams our water on the table and leaves to say hello to other guests. He comes back, still no introduction, no hello to us just "know what you want?". We had never been there so we ask for some time. He comes back in not even 3 minutes rushes us to order we put in our drinks and an appetizer, he asks "entrees?" I say can we please wait till after the appetizer. The drinks come and are slammed on the table again, no appetizer yet. Again the rushing server asking do we know what we want, I again said please can we have some time. By then I was flustered. Who I assumed to be manager, who gave directions to the host, is hovering around this whole time as i'm visibly uncomfortable, but I watched him kindly check on the table directly behind us and then he walked right by us as if we weren't there. We're both uncomfortable and just feeling rushed and unwelcome. We downed our drinks as fast as we could, only tried the appetizer and had to go to a different restaurant.

Kim H.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about the staff and management of Zuzu. I had to have an after funeral gathering with only 3 days notice for 70 people. Michelle not only pulled together a great staff, she even worked it herself. They provided everything we needed to give our friend the send off he deserved. Absolutely top notch food and service.

Daniel N.

Yelp
Glad we gave this place another chance! Significantly improved experience! The wait staff, hostess, and manager, were all much more attentive. The food and drinks were incredible as well. I felt like the wait staff genuinely cared about my experience and even when a slight mistake was made with the app order, it was noticed on their own and was rectified immediately. It seemed like a whole new attitude and crew. We will definitely be adding this place to our rotation of restaurants in town. Thanks!

Ellen P.

Yelp
I was waiting for ZuZu to open and I wasn't disappointed . The servers were so nice and attentive. The pizza and meatballs were delicious. My friends tried the Ala Vodka and they both love it. The ice cream is a must and the Cannoli was fresh made. I am a wood fire pizza fan and we will be returning to ZuZu. Very nice bar as well.

Edward K.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful service and food amazing.the only negative is the music is a bite loud hard to have a conversation.i tried going for lunch on 8/21 around 1pm and was told no lunch being served but website says 12pm to 10pm not sure what's going on here I hope they fix it

Pamela O.

Yelp
I was so excited to meet my friends out and try the new spot. We began the evening with two appetizers the arcani and fried calamari, pretty tasty. Shortly after our entrees came out, where the bus boy completely spilled one dish on me and knocked a drink down as well( spaghetti in red sauce all over me) I completely understand accidents happen, but our waitress barely acknowledged it nor did the manager. It's common decency to comp something. Also, the restaurant closes at 9, and they began pushing us out at 8:30. Lastly they charge the same amount for a mocktail as a cocktail. Will not be back, nor recommending.

Carolena P.

Yelp
This is a relatively new addition to the ever-growing iconic Main Street in Farmingdale. At first glance the atmosphere and decor is pleasing and modern. It ends there for me, I am sorry to say. The first thing I noticed was an overall nasty smell in the air. Subtle but it lingered. I ordered a martini which tasted like dish soap residue. My date got chicken parm and I got eggplant parm. Both came with burnt cheese. My date, ever the gentleman declined to send his back. I knew if I ate it I would get a stomach ache so I nicely asked for them to bring me a dish without burnt cheese. Well, it appears that the server had originally placed the wrong dishes in front of us b/c when they brought back my dish with new cheese, I realized it was the chicken parm and not my eggplant (they do look the same under the sauce and cheese). So I just pushed the cheese to the side. My date benefitted from me sending back the plate with now not burnt cheese. The eggplant? The worst I ever tasted. I took 2 bites. I couldn't eat it nor did I drink my cocktail So disappointed. I will say we prob ordered wrong at a place that is made for pizza and beer. Perhaps if we had pizza this review would be quite different. I think folks should go and support this new place but steer clear of the meals and order pizza...
