Zweet Sport Total Fitness Studio

I’ve been taking Heather’s Power30 class at Zweet Sport Fitness for years, and I can’t say enough amazing things about her! The class itself is such a perfect mix of strength training and circuit work — always challenging but fun — and Heather makes every single session something to look forward to. She’s an incredible instructor: motivating, encouraging, and truly invested in her members. She learns everyone’s name, tailors her coaching to what each person needs, and always offers great modifications or support when you’re dealing with an injury or limitation. Heather has helped me get stronger and more confident over the years, and I’m so thankful to have her as not only my favorite fitness instructor but also as a friend. She’s the best! 💪

I followed Sara from a different cycle studio to Zweet because I love her classes so much. Her energy, playlists, and fun choreo make you want to rebook over and over again, which I have. I would 100/10 recommend trying her class for a great workout. Zweet has created such a welcoming community of kind and passionate people.

I’ve been going here on and off for a couple years now, and I absolutely love it!! The variety and quality of classes are unbeatable, and the instructors are so nice! The class environment is super welcoming, more so than at other group fitness places I’ve been to. I mostly go to Edea’s spin classes and Marja’s Power 45 classes, and I always feel like I get an excellent workout. Also, as someone who hasn’t always been “into” fitness, I think the classes are really fun! Can’t recommend Zweet Sport enough :)

Cannot write enough good things about this studio! I’ve been taking class here for about 5 years and have stayed engaged, motivated and happy with my experience throughout. The classes are well timed and programmed, and I’ve absolutely gotten stronger and seen results with attending the power classes regularly. The cycle classes are fantastic, upbeat and there are a variety of instructors to choose from depending on your difficulty and music preferences. Cannot recommend this locally owned studio enough- best little gem in old town!

Responsive. Instructors know everyone by name. And know my abilities so always happy to accommodate the exercises to my needs. Love both cycling and fitness classes. Nice variety and friendly staff.

Zweet Sport is a wonderful studio with great energy and awesome instructors. I came here for over a year for personal training with Heather Pritchett. I can’t recommend Heather enough. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. She personalized my workouts and added variety, which made it easy to show up and be consistent. I am very grateful I found personal training through Zweet Sport and could work with Heather; without them, I would not have been able to achieve my strength training goals!

If you’re looking for a gym that keeps you motivated and makes workouts fun, this is the place! The instructors are top-notch—knowledgeable, energetic, and always pushing you to do your best while making sure you use proper form. The community here is incredible too; everyone is welcoming and supportive, no matter your fitness level. The group classes are challenging but enjoyable, and there’s always a great mix of strength and cardio. If you want a gym where you feel encouraged, not intimidated, this is it!

Can't say enough amazing things about Zweet Sport and all of the instructors! I started with personal training to get back into a gym routine with Emily & Heather. I felt so comfortable after sessions that I signed up for a monthly membership. I absolutely love body pump & body sculpt as they are the perfect amount of time, super high energy, and provides guidance on weight lifting. Marja, the owner is lovely. I have also used Heather for nutrition services, which were fantastic. Highly recommend Zweet Sport for anyone looking to work on their fitness!

I came here for a 30 minute Body Sculpt class. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed the class. It was a HIT based workout with different stations. The instructor went over all the movements in each station. There were two different movements, one strength based and one cardio based. We moved through the workouts in intervals of 30 seconds, two times with a break for 10 seconds in-between the two sets and then moved to the next station. I was worried I wouldn't like the workout because I'm not a huge fan of HIT, but I left sweaty and feeling great. I would definitely come back again for more workouts!

As a fat kid, I need to work out. It used to feel like I was making excuses when I got bored of gyms or my at home workouts. Finally, I've found a gym that I've gone to for more than a month. Instructors are attentive and friendly. The workouts are dynamic, strength-building, and diverse. The space is small but when I come regularly, I'm a good sore all week long. I can feel myself getting stronger and the workouts are still effective because of the range of weights that I can keep moving up with (dumbbells, kettlebells, plates for barbell, cable cross weights). I like that the classes are limited in size and it never gets too packed. The tabata-style 30-45min classes help me mentally not stress about going to the gym, too. (They also have cycling but I'm not very good at it; really high energy instructors with fun choreo). Pretty easy street parking and variety of times for classes, too. It's a good gym... I do a 40min round trip commute for that reason.

Within walking distance from my apartment, not only did I gain a gym for life but a friend. Zweet Sport is a fabulous boutique total body workout studio. The trainers and instructors are top-notch. They are professional and they strive to educate you and prepare you for your body and health goals. If you live in old town Alexandria or Northern Virginia and looking for a place to meet your fitness goals look no further than the hot spot called Zweet Sport.

You cannot get a more well rounded program than Zweet. Cycling and various strength training classes are offered at this location. Most classes range from 30-45 minutes. Time flies by, but you are drenched in sweat and breathless by the end of it. Class sizes are small, so you get individualized attention. All classes can also be tailored to any fitness level. I belonged to OTF and ClassPass when I took my first class at Zweet. I ended up canceling both memberships and joining here. I have taken significantly more classes since making the switch. I attribute this to the amazing instructors here and the fact that I never get bored (every class is different!).

I've been going to Zweet Sport recently through Class Pass and have been loving it! The studio is conveniently located off Route 1 near Old Town and has parking. There are 2 small bathrooms if you need to change into workout clothes before your class. I would recommend bringing your own water, since there is no filtered water provided, but you can buy water for a few $. The instructors: very helpful and motivating! They gave me a thorough overview of the class structure when it was my first time, provided encouragement throughout my workout and even helped correct my form. If you're looking for something quick but tough, their Power 30 class definitely delivers! I think 30 minutes is just enough time for a high energy strength workout, so I really appreciate this length and format. Overall, great instructors and perfect for a quick but tough workout.

A truly amazing gym. Marja and the entire crew of trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and design great workouts that are never the same. I would highly recommend Zweet if you are looking for a supportive environment with a community-based atmosphere.

Great 30-45 minute cardio and strength training workout in Old Town's West End. Trainers are professional and attentive to all participant levels. Ideal for people on the go. The small class sizes, 10-12 people max, is conducive to personal attention and achieving your goals.

This is my favorite fitness studio in the area! I often go to Marja's Body Sculpt classes and I'm hooked! The classes are fun and challenging. They are 30 minutes long, so I have zero excuses to skip my work out. Regardless, the classes kick my butt and make me feel so much stronger. Marja is really kind and wonderful. She always works with all of my injuries and gives me modifications. She makes the class fun and makes you feel comfortable no matter what your fitness level is. I am so happy I found this place!

Love the variety of classes focused on total body fitness, including circuit work, cardio and core, Tabata, yoga with weights, and mobility -- literally something for everyone!! The classes are offered seven days a the week, in the morning, during the day, and at night. The instructors are super friendly and high energy, offering a great mix of motivational messages and instructions on form. LOVE LOVE LOVE the community!!
