Google
Zytoun was recommended if I was seeking some authentic Mediterranean food, and my jaw was left on their dining flaw from how amazing it was. My mum and I ordered: - Mixed pickles - Mix Grill - Fattoush - Basmati rice - Half cheese/beef Borak And to finish: - 1 mint tea - 1 Turkish coffee Now, I mean no exaggeration when I say this food was phenomenal! The pickles were crispy and well flavoured, they borak was juicy and exploding with flavour, the fattoush was so fresh and delicious, the basmati rice was cooked perfectly, and the mixed grill... FABULOUS! The lamb chops were charcoled beautifully, the lamb tika kebab was tender and juicy, the lamb koufta was to die for, the chicken tika kebab was seasoned lovely, and the chicken tawouk was spiced to perfection. It was my first time trying Turkish coffee and while I was scared at how it could taste, I was genuinely delighted with the flavour it presented. It had only a slight bitterness and was actually a slightly sweet, Turkish spiced espresso, and the little Turkish sweet they provide along side it goes down with the coffee like heaven. The mint tea was remarked as being lovely too, coming out with a choice of sweeteners like honey, sugar, etc. Such a lovely end to a gorgeous meal that really hit a special place for us both. The design of the restaurant was really warm and cosy and the servers were such nice ladies. They consistently offered help with choices and when we were unsure, they explained perfectly each of the menu items and their similarities (e.g. Borak being like Sambousek). It was such a lovely meal and truly a fine dining experience, I would definitely rate them higher than a 5 if possible. 100% would recommend!

Honestly loved it here. I got the chicken shawarma and swapped the Arabic salad for the parsley one — so good and super fresh. I also tried the shrimp pesto pizza and wow…fire. The ocean view at sunset was sooo pretty, it made the whole meal even better. I sat outside on the patio and even brought my cat, and they were totally chill about it, which I appreciated. Cute spot, good vibes, yummy food — I’ll be back for sure. 💛🌊✨

Amazing restaurant hidden in seaport village. Everything that they served us was quick and had been cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly cooked and had nice flavor. Lentil soup was simple but great. We liked it so much that we ordered some more food for lunch to go for the next day.

My friend and I stopped by here tonight for dinner and the kind gentleman helped us out. The food was top tier we ordered the mixed pickled veggies, chicken Shaw. Wrap, mixed shish kebab plate, and 2 drinks and everything tasted so delicious. The service was excellent and checked on us and how we were doing and all. The Atmosphere here is so gorgeous and has such a large dining area outside by the water, inside, and back door patio seating. We will definitely be back thank you!

The food is delicious and fresh. Portions are large, we shared one plate. The service was excellent; our server was well versed in all the items on the menu. Our beef and chicken were mildly spiced with warm pitas, rice, hummus, and yogurt. Everything was seasoned nicely and well worth the price.

What an amazing experience right off the ocean. Seating for two on a busy Saturday night wasn’t too bad. Had about a 10 min wait for a table to open up. He got the lamb shank and basmati rice which was to die for! Fall off the bone amazing! I had beef shawarma wrap with a side salad instead of the fries. 10/10 true Mediterranean food I’ve had. Will definitely be back and try more of the menu.

A newer place for me to visit and I can't wait to go back! Service was exceptional! The food tastes so fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is calming and i'd recommend sitting with the water view near sunset time. They have a big menu so there's definitely something there for everyone. Im a pocky eater but I had the Arabic Salad, beef kebab and batami rice..the plates are big and can be shared!

New spot that just opened up. The ambiance at night was dimly lit and perfectly well suited by the window seat overlooking the waterfront & passersby. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Food was very well seasoned, fresh & delicious. Very big portions. We had the chopped chicken salad and the chicken tikka entree & substituted the rice for the lentil soup for an additional fee. Soup was okay just needed more flavor in my opinion. Highly recommend to check this place out if you love mediterranean food.
